While Lionsgate continues to celebrate the oodles of money flowing in as a result of The Hunger Games , another movie studio is also doing cartwheels: Relativity Media. Why? Because that studio is behind The House at the End of the Street , a September 21 release that stars Katniss Everdeen herself, Jennifer Lawrence. The film is your basic horror flick: Lawrence stars as Ellisa, the daughter of Elisabeth Shue’s Sarah, who moves to a small-town house and starts to discover some chilling secrets about the residence and the area around them. Because Jennifer Lawrence ‘s StarMeter is sky-high during this glorious Hunger Games weekend, why not take a look at her next venture, the indie horror pic House at the End of the Street ? Katniss Everdeen this ain’t; JLawr (JenLaw? JLa? Did we ever figure this one out?) stars as a teenager who befriends a new neighbor (Max Thierot) whose family was murdered years ago. In the first image from the pic, a tank topped Lawrence discovers something mysterious and, from the look on her face, probably horrifying. Where’s that bow and arrow when you really need it…? EW has the exclusive scoop on what exactly Lawrence is up to in the pic, from director Mark Tonderai ( Hush ): “She’s basically managed to get into Max’s house, waiting for his character, and she’s made a discovery there about his family and is trying to hide before her presence is detected,” he says. Thieriot plays a 21-year-old who lingers in the house against the wishes of the other neighbors, who would rather forget both him and his family’s horrific history. “Since he lives in this house and is driving down people’s home values, he’s very ostracized in this town,” Tonderai says. “The murder was committed by his sister, and she disappeared into the woods. There’s this rumor she still lives in the woods. People have seen her, and she’s insane. But is she out in the woods? Last week it was revealed that the film will take place in a wet n’ wild waterpark , and now we’ve received a character list describing the carnivorous chumps’ main adversaries. Start assembling your fantasy cast now: MADDY: Piranha 3DD’ s equivalent of Piranha 3D ‘s Elisabeth Shue . Maddy is a smart marine biology student home for the summer to help her redneck dad run the waterpark. She’s not very popular with the locals, probably because she’s smart. Maddy is also the first to discover the piranhas in the waterpark, because she’s- once again- smart. Boob factor (scale of 1-10): 3 ASHLEY: The queen bitch and loosest slot in the Piranha 3DD casino. In one scene, she handcuffs her man for some playtime in a van; when the van begins to move and ends up in the water, she leaves him behind to drown because she can’t find the keys. Boob Factor: 11 SHELBY: Ashley’s demure sister and a wannabe tart. She tricks a local boy into deflowering her in a scene almost certain to come right before their fishy demise. Boob Factor: 8 There will be some male characters in Piranha 3DD too, like Maddy’s dorky friend and the sleazy local sheriff, but their boob factors are zero, so who cares? Body double Shelly Michelle serves most of the skin in this flick, but in one scene Jules lets a definite nip slip while rolling in the sack. Elisabeth Shue also works hard for her money- hard enough to win an Oscar for her performance as a streetwalker in Leaving Las Vegas (1996) . The scene where she pours Nicholas Cage a tequila body shot in the desert sun still has Mr. Skin all hot and bothered. Way back in her Hanoi Jane days, Jane Fonda got liberated as a happy hooker in Klute (1971) – and got a little gold man for her trouble. Most of Jane’s nudity in the film is woefully under-lit, but her nice perky lil’ right nip pops up in this well-lit scene. More recently, Marisa Tomei took off her top to pay the bills in The Wrestler (2008) . Mr. Skin thought that Marissa’s hooters were rays of sunshine in the otherwise relentlessly downbeat film, and the Academy must have agreed, since they rewarded her with an Oscar nom.
