Edward Furlong Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Edward Furlong is in trouble with the law. Yes, again. The Terminator 2 star – who was booked on charges of violating a restraining order and falling behind on child support payments last year – was taken into custody this morning following an incident at Los Angeles International Airport. “On Oct. 30, 2012 at approximately 12:40 a.m., Los Angeles Airport Police officers responded to a call regarding a possible domestic violence investigation at Terminal 2 on the arrivals level,” the Los Angeles Airport Police said in a statement. Furlong allegedly grabbed his girlfriend’s arm at the scene, leaving visible marks. He was subsequently charged with felony domestic violence and transported to the LAPD 77th Division Jail. According to the official booking report, the 35-year-old actor is being held on $50,000 bail. Aside from the two arrests listed above, Furlong was accused in September 2009 of punching his now ex-wife Rachel Kneeland in a drug-fueled fight.

Tone Loc Pleads Not Guilty To Domestic Violence Charges

By Gil Kaufman Tone Loc Photo: Todd Williamson/ Getty Images “Wild Thing” rapper Tone Loc was in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday, where the 45-year-old MC (born Anthony Smith) pleaded not guilty to felony possession of an assault weapon and domestic violence charges. Loc was arrested last month for suspicion of felony domestic violence following an alleged altercation with the mother of one of his children. According to TMZ , police found an unregistered military-grade assault rifle, a semi-automatic Colt AR-15 Sporter, during their investigation into the incident on June 18. He is slated to return to court in the case on July 28. Last December, Loc was arrested for DUI, but his manager told TMZ that his client does not drink and it was a seizure that caused him to drive erratically. Best known for his gravelly voice and laid-back attitude, Loc had two best-selling singles from his 1989 debut, Loc-ed After Dark, which was followed by the less-successful 1991 disc Cool Hand Loc. After his music career cooled off, the rapper used his unmistakable voice to launch a second career as a voice-over actor and sometime movie actor, appearing in films such as “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane” and “Posse.” He’s also lent his voice to the movies “FernGully: The Last Rainforest,” “A Cool Like That Christmas” and “Titan A.E.,” as well as the TV shows “King of the Hill” and “C-Bear and Jamal.”

Lindsay Lohan either fancies herself on par with these celebrities, or really hates her dad, or a combination of both, because she’s gonna ditch the “Lohan.” “Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay,” her mom Dina Lohan tells PopEater , and that’s not all. “Plus, me and [younger daughter] Ali will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan.” NO, LOHAN, JUST LINDSAY : Felon would also work … Lindsay had been thinking about dropping her surname for some time, Dina says, but at first thought that no one would recognize who “Lindsay” was. It was only after the infamous Super Bowl E-trade ad referring to a baby as “that milkaholic Lindsay,” that the actress knew she no longer needed it. Ironically, she bitched, moaned and even sued over that, but whatever. “So many of the top people in showbiz are known by one name. Look at Oprah and Beyonce. Now you can add Lindsay to that list,” a family friend said. More importantly, “It’s a way for them all to just start over. Jenna Jameson, Tito Ortiz Both Recant Allegations

After a bitter exchange of allegations that spanned the better part of a week, are UFC star Tito Ortiz and porn queen Jenna Jameson ready to call a truce? Both seem to want the matter to die down and are withdrawing allegations resulting in, and from, Tito’s felony domestic violence arrest earlier this week. Jenna said Tito Ortiz assaulted her during an argument. She now says: “What actually happened that morning has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in.” Translation: He didn’t do it. What happened between Tito and Jenna? We may never know . Tito insinuated that Jenna is an OxyContin addict who relapsed and hurt herself that day. But now the fighter’s position is dramatically different as well. He claims he found two OxyContin pills in a pair of her pants pocket and may have jumped to conclusions, as Jenna says the pills were very old. Tito’s lawyer, Chip Matthews, now says the whole thing was “a big misunderstanding.” Jenna passed a drug test a day after the incident. Why the change of heart? Tito stands to lose $15 million – his UFC contract plus other deals he’s a part of – if he’s prosecuted for domestic violence. Makes sense that they want this drama to disappear ASAP. It’s obviously less consequential if the case goes away, but whose story did you believe?
