Beyonce will sing at the upcoming Obama Inauguration . That’s quite the honor for this star. And the singer also covers the latest issue of GQ . That’s quite a pleasure for warm-blooded males around the planet! Looking positively stunning and slim just over one year since giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter , Beyonce is wearing next to nothing on the cover of this national magazine. The issue celebrates The 100 Sexiest Women of the 21st Century and it appears to have all attractive bases covered, from Kate Upton to Megan Fox to Mila Kunis. GQ , meanwhile, promises “better (and hotter)” Beyonce pictures next Tuesday when it releases the full interview and spread. We’re not sure how that’s possible.
K. Michelle Says She Wants To Rekindle Relationship With J.R. Smith Reality ratchetista K. Michelle might be off the small screen for now, but that doesn’t mean she’s taking a break from bumpin’ her gums and putting her business on blast. The big-bootied LHH ATLien recently sat down with Hot 97 radio to talk being shunned from LHH NY, Toya being “sloppy seconds,” and wanting to bust it open in the bedroom again for NBA baller J.R. Smith . Here’s an excerpt of what she had to say: “I want to say what women won’t say. I’m tired of all the cookie-cutter stuff. So, sometimes you just wanna f**k. Every time I think about something sexual in my life, I think about a certain guy. His name’s J.R. I’m very open in saying that I want him back. What’s real is, once I had a taste of that real, I don’t want nobody else.” Check out the full interview, including K. Michelle singing her heart out (side note: this chick can saaaannngg) for J.R. Smith and more in the video below: YouTube/Hot 97
It’s no secret that indie filmmakers can often feel like Bob Cratchit, begging for just a little bit of coal from Scroogy Hollywood so they can keep their creative fire burning. But the multi-platform release, initially frowned upon, has become a boon for indie filmmakers. We’ve already seen Arbitrage with Richard Gere and Lay the Favorite with Bruce Willis hit VOD services at the same time they hit movie theaters, and now Edward Burns’ The Fitzgerald Family Christmas is doing the same. And because of that, Burns tells me his films are turning a profit for the first time since She’s The One . Check out my full interview with actor and filmmaker below, as well as the film’s website to find out if it’s playing at a theater near you when it goes into limited release this Friday, Dec. 7. If not, you can catch it on iTunes, Amazon, or VOD. Follow Movieline on Twitter . Follow Grace Randolph on Twitter .
Rapper Eve Opens Up About Her Interracial Relationship Former Ruff Ryder first lady Eve is in love and lovin it, regardless of what her fans and family her might think about her decision to try a lil something new in the dating department. Eve recently sat down with Angie Martinez and DJ Enuff over at Hot 97 radio to talk that talk about dating outside of her race, teaching her British boo about weave, how her family feels about her new love, and what she really thinks about black men. On her fans and critics reaction to her dating a white man: “I need them to stop [caring about interracial dating]. What year is it? Like, stop. Seriously. Trust me, I gotta say, it is weird for ME that I’m with a white dude. Trust me. I look at him sometimes and I’m like, ‘You are so white.’ Seriously! Yeah, I mean, we gotta be real like that. I’m the first black girl he’s ever been with, so we are learning. Trust me, he’s been through ‘Weave 101 … we learn a lot about each other.” On whether or not she still likes black men: But people came at me like, ‘I can’t believe you’re dating a white dude and you don’t like black dudes no more.’ I’m like, ‘I love black men, it just so happens that my heart went this way right now. I mean, who knows? I’m happy.’” On what her family thinks about her boyfriend: “I had to tell my mom and my stepdad, who still like, follows Farrakhan and all that so…it’s crazy. “My family is happy, though. [My pops], he’s cool with it. He still keeps calling him ‘my friend.’ He’s always like, ‘How’s your friend?’ I’m like, it’s been almost three years [laughs]. But, it’s good.” We think it’s great that she’s found happiness. Just think, if it wasn’t for her kicking Steebie J to the curb all those years ago, Joseline might have gotten left in the skrip club, and we know you’d miss her. Check out the full interview below to hear what she (and her man) thinks about Steebie J now, if she’d ever do a reality show and more: YouTube/Hot97
Don’t read this on a full stomach. Ginger “Hard Times” White has released a full interview about her time with Herman Cain and we can’t say we were necessarily excited to hear the details. Here goes: I think every time he had sex with me, he was getting a lot more than I was getting.” White said that over the years, her arrangement with Cain took an emotional toll. “One time we were having sex, and I was looking up at the ceiling, thinking about, ‘What am I going to buy at the grocery store tomorrow? What am I going to do with my kids tomorrow?’” she recalled. “One time after we had sex, I cried. He said, ‘Maybe we shouldn’t do this for a while.’ So maybe he did have a heart-or half a heart. But I knew I needed his financial help.” Damn, Herman Cain was giving that wack wack? You just have to think his wife is reading this and crying. Um, actually, we’re reading and crying while pouring acid on our eyes so we can unsee what we just read. The full interview is here . Read if you’re feeling brave.
Yesterday in San Diego, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon mysteriously hinted that Stephenie Meyer could have more Twilight spin-offs left in her. Movieline caught up with Condon for a chat overlooking the Convention Center (full interview to come) and asked him to clarify: Is Stephenie Meyer planning to write more Twilight stories?
We’ve been seeing Terrence J and Brandy boo’d up in public for about a month now. First they hit up a ball game at Madison Square Garden . Then, Brandy and Ray J came out to show TJ their support at the L.A. screening of “The Game.” And now people want to know what’s good and TJ’s not exactly doing the best job at convincing us there’s nothing going on. Here’s what Terrence told Big Boy’s Neighborhood about their BBall date. “We’re two big basketball fans and we’re good friends. Whenever you’re walking a young lady to the bathroom you should always hold her hand.” Lord. Has this negro been getting PR and relationship tips from Nelly? A couple of days before denying he was giving a two-bit internet hooker the business , Matt Barnes was on KTLA-TV throwing hella shade at Shaunie O’Neal’s Gang of Baby Mamas and Exes . And we loved every hypocritical minute of it. Here are some of our favorite quotes from the interview. Question: What about the other fellas [involved with Basketball Wives], do you deal with them much? Matt: There isn’t any other guys. That’s why I’m the target. Question: You’re wearing the ring now… Where are you right now? Gloria: We’re on great terms. We are human, I think people forget that. We bleed, we suffer, we go through ups and downs. But Matt and I are great, we have two beautiful boys and we’re in no hurry to prove our love to anybody. It’s gonna happen, and we’re together. Matt on Gloria not being like the other broads on the show: Don’t let the pretty smile fool you, she definitely got that in her. I think everyone kind of got the gist that we claim to be some perfect couple, and we’re far from that. I think everybody got the wrong impression that we were some make-believe fairytale couple. We just chose not to air our dirty laundry out like the other women did. What we fight about and what our problems are, we keep in our own home. These other women are out here telling their problems and crying a river. That sound you hear is the entire Bossip staff rolling our eyes. Check out the full interview below.
