Ali Landry appeared on The Wendy Williams Show yesterday and made a startling admission: She and husband Alejandro Monteverde waited until after they were married to have sex. How come? Because the former Miss USA was burned so badly by her first husband, actor/host Mario Lopez. “I had heard something right before the wedding. He swore that it was not true, but I had that feeling in my gut,” Landry said of rumors that her then-fiance had been unfaithful, going on to explain she actually tapped Lopez’s phone to learn the truth. It was horrible,” she says – and eventually met Monteverde in a theology class. But there were no bodily fluids exchanged until vows were exchanged. “Because of the situation I was in before, I was just treading lightly, and did not want to make any mistakes in this relationship,” Landry told Williams, adding of the father of her two kids: “He was the person I was meant to be with.”
It’s pretty much accepted as fact that Kobe Bryant cheated on wife Vanessa on more than one occasion and that his infidelity led to her divorce filing last Friday. What’s unclear is who the other woman was – but Jessica Burciaga says it’s not her. Rumors pegged Playboy Playmate and Miss February 2009 Jessica as the alleged mistress that was in the middle of it all, but she says it’s simply not the case. Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce after an affair she heard about through the NBA wife rumor mill, believing that to be the last straw. It wasn’t with Jessica, though. A spokesperson for both Kobe and Vanessa says the rumors are false and the initial blog, MediaTakeOut (dot) com, even acknowledges as much now. Shocker. A second source also told E! News that, “Kobe and Jessica have never met.” Well, that’s interesting. Not that we’re surprised. If you follow the sexy Playmate on Twitter – and you should! – you’d know something were amiss … “The 1st media website that released this false story now takes it down, but thanks a lot now it’s all over every other blog,” she tweeted yesterday. “It feels good when a non reliable, crappy media website retracts their story and takes my pics down and gets its right days later. Great.” There you have it people. Lesson learned.

But 12 months later, we know now he can also play basketball , give back to charities and dominate the box office as much as he can the music charts. “Never Say Never” made millions across the U.S. and was actually applauded by most movie critics . Bieber can also rap, act (hello, CSI guest starring-spot!) and almost take down Twitter single-handedly by merely getting a haircut. Justin went public in February with Selena Gomez, but that relationship has not slowed down his popularity. To the star’s credit, he’s been nothing but open about his feelings and his connection to this pretty artist. The only drawback of their courtship? How Bieber has made every other boyfriend in the country look horrible by comparison, thanks to stunts such as this . A crossover star, Bieber sang duets in 2011 with everyone from Chris Brown to Mariah Carey, Usher to Boyz II Men. We’re looking at our generation’s next Justin Timberlake here, a singer who can step across genres, on to the big screen, really succeed anywhere across the entertainment spectrum. The guy is seriously talented. Justin concluded an incredible year by releasing a Christmas album that shot to number-one on the charts, to no one’s surprise. He made the media round in promotion, dazzling David Letterman and singing live for Today Show viewers. You name the medium and Justin Bieber has controlled it over the past few months. So congratulations on your number-five ranking, JB. We have a feeling you’ll be a mainstay on this countdown for many years to come.
Kobe Bryant can blame Basketball Wives for getting caught cheating. Not the stars of VH1’s Basketball Wives – none of whom are actually married, and one of whom isn’t even involved with a basketball player – mind you. We mean actual wives of teammates, and other NBA squads. Let’s just say that people talk. Vanessa Bryant caught Kobe cheating – not Elin Nordegren style, but she did find out about his infidelity when talk of his extracurricular sexual exploits increased in frequency among her fellow spouses, according to a TMZ report. Players often swear their wives to secrecy before dishing on their fellow NBA players, but that secrecy is rarely kept. Women all share intel about other guys. This is done, in part, to ensure word will get back to them if their man cheats. It’s like a trophy wife code of sorts. Informal and unwritten, but foolproof. Vanessa Bryant filed divorce papers on Friday, after learning of Kobe’s latest infidelity, which is seen as the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. Kobe Bryant’s divorce was a long time coming, according to sources close to the Los Angeles Lakers star and his soon-to-be former spouse of 10 years. Vanessa Bryant caught Kobe with “multiple women” over the years, but his most recent transgression, which took place “very recently,” was it for her. A close source says that for, his latest affair was the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak, and she decided to finally end their marriage. Sources would not say specifically how Vanessa caught Kobe, but it was not through text messages a la Tiger Woods, Rachel Uchitel and Elin Nordegren. The NBA great famously cheated in 2003 when he was accused of raping a Colorado woman, but was acquitted and appeared to have made amends at home. It’s not clear how many affairs he had or whether Vanessa knew any of the people, but they’ve already worked out a settlement agreement in the split. Vanessa will remain in the couple’s mansion and have joint custody of the pair’s two daughters, 8 and 5, presumably getting half of Kobe’s empire. The couple did not have a prenuptial agreement in place. Kobe is said to be “desperate” to win back his wife but Vanessa Bryant is having none of it, even though she admits she still loves Kobe dearly. She just can’t stand his infidelity anymore. Jennifer Lopez broke down crying on stage while performing at the Mohegan Sun Casino’s 15th anniversary celebration on Saturday. She walked off stage in the middle of singing.
