Poor Lana Del Rey . She had to go to boarding school at the age of 14 to get sober… The 26-year-old “Video Games” crooner ditched her clothes and her inhibitions for a nude photo shoot and even more revealing interview in the latest issue of British GQ magazine. The New York product told the men’s mag, which named her Woman of the Year, that even before she moved back to the Big Apple to seek fame as 18-year-old Lizzy Grant, she was already living a rock n’ roll lifestyle. “It’s been nine years since my last drink,” she said in the GQ UK interview. “That’s really why I got sent to boarding school aged 14 – to get sober. “I was a big drinker at the time. I would drink every day. I would drink alone. I thought the whole concept was so f—ing cool.” Even while writing her cryptic love songs after cleaning up her act in a Brooklyn rehab, one muse was alcohol, which she calls “the first love” of her life. “A great deal of what I wrote on ‘Born To Die’ is about these wilderness years. My parents were worried, I was worried. I knew it was a problem when I liked it more than I liked doing anything else. I was like, ‘I’m f—ed. I am totally f—ed’.” “It didn’t affect my writing, but it affected my happiness,” she said. “I became depressed. Because I love New York so much. I was born there; it was my city. I was going to die there. “As a person who becomes really attached to places for their energy and their beauty, for me New York was a match. In his desperation to kick the hindquarters habit, Senator Pulpis turns to the church, where he finds sweet, sweet solace in the arms of busty Laura Antonelli . Laura is at the height of her erotic powers as Sister Hildegard, the lustiest nun this side of the Holy See. With the assistance of Sister Hildegard, Senator Pulpis begins to shed the inhibitions that caused his fanny fixation- when Laura presents herself to the senator wearing only her veil and kinky nun’s rope-underwear, her massive mounds are enough to turn any man into a breast man! The bonerrific tradition of Hollywood nudity goes way, way back to the uninhibited 1920s, and in honor of the upcoming Academy Awards (as well as Mr. Skin’s Anatomy Awards , of course) we here at Mr. Skin have rubbed ourselves raw scouring the archives for the very apex of Academy Award-winning nudity. As tit turns out, the very first Best Picture, Wings (1927) , is also a breast picture thanks to legendary wild child and original “it” girl Clara Bow. In the film, Clara stars as a sweet young thing involved in a love triangle with two pilots, both of whom are sent off to fight in World War I. In one scene, Clara is undressing in front of a mirror when her soldier boys barge in, and as she scrambles to cover up, we get a tantalizing glimpse of her topless. It’s highly unlikely that the nip slip was intentional, but thanks to the miracle of celluloid, Clara’s “it” tits have achieved immor(t)ality. And now, she’s back with the album’s title track — and second single — which will undoubtedly serve as the soundtrack to one of those flings blossoming. She’s got you covered every step of the way … it’s sorta brilliant, really. Both “Teenage Dream” and its accompanying video are about falling madly in love, about losing your inhibitions and getting jelly-kneed by the mere thought of being near that certain someone. Sure, you may have snogged your fair share of guys or gals down the shore this summer (that’s what “California Gurls” was for), but now you’ve found the one that makes you feel all giddy inside, and you’re ready to let your guard down and go head-over-heels. “Dream” is all those gooey feelings turned into a pop song. The video was directed by Yoann Lemoine, who fills it with gauzy, sunset-tinged scenery: a beach in the waning light, the rapidly darkening hills of California, the incandescent glow of a pool in the early evening. Much like the song itself, the entire clip feels like a wooshing, love-drunk dream. Perry frolics with a frequently shirtless hunk (actor Josh Kloss) and is giddy throughout. She brings her friends (including L.A. socialites Ana Calderon and DJ Skeet Skeet) along to share in the merriment, and they throw impromptu dance parties all over Southern California. It all possesses an unwound, unabashed glee — the kind of bliss that only comes when you first fall in love, when everything seems to be taken from a movie (or, in this case, an Abercrombie & Fitch billboard) and nothing seems impossible. In that regard, it fits the feel of the song perfectly. Perry always stays on message. There is no deviation. It’s ingenious, not to mention a little frightening. But the “Take It Off” clip isn’t just about taking off your clothes and rolling in glitter. “It’s also about taking off your inhibitions and being raw and real,” Ke$ha said. “And then we start tearing each other apart into pieces, and we’re all made out of glittery magic dust … star dust.” OK, so maybe it is mostly about getting naked. Either way, Ke$ha says the video is still her favorite. Not even the recent clip of Israeli soldiers dancing to her hit “Tik Tok” or the May 2 episode of “The Simpsons” that used the song in its opening sequence could top it. And yet those were pretty cool. “It’s amazing … I love it,” she sad. “Having Israeli soldiers dancing to ‘Tik Tok’ and landing the opening of ‘The Simpsons’ … [they’re] dreams.
