Iggy Azalea: Tour Canceled Due to Low Ticket Sales?

What a difference a year makes. Last summer, you couldn’t set foot in public without hearing about how “fancy” Iggy Azalea is. In 2015, however, the Aussie femcee is about as popular as Crocodile Dundee and other short-lived trends from Down Under. Talk of Iggy’s tour being canceled due to lack of interest began to circulate back in March, and this week, the news was confirmed: Iggy-Ig’s troubled Great Escape Tour has officially been put out of its misery, and full refunds will be issued to the (shockingly few) fans who purchased tickets. It’s the latest in a long line of setbacks for the divisive rapper, who’s endured a year full of feuds, rapidly declining popularity, and being publicly referred to as ” Satan in the form of mayonnaise .” Just last week, thousands signed a petition to revoke Iggy’s Billboard Music Award  as a result of their belief that the 24-year-old Sydney native is undeserving of such an honor. Iggy enjoyed a modest popularity boost last week thanks to her Britney Spears collaboration “Pretty Girls,” but it looks like the renewed fan interest came too late to save the tour that was scheduled to kick off September 18 in San Diego. Azalea apologized to fans on social media, tweeting, “I’m so sad and sorry to let my fans down… we’ll be back out on the road when the next album is done.” No official reason was given for the cancelation, but as industry insiders have been reporting disappointing sales for months, it’s widely believed that a simple lack of interest doomed the 21-city jaunt from the start. Lena Dunham on Hillary Clinton Support: Not About the Vagina!

Lena Dunham would like to make two things clear: She will be voting for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential Election. And it’s not because Hillary Clinton is a woman. Making her intention clear with the following Instagram photo, Dunham went back on social media after critics accused her of only supporting Clinton because they are the same gender. “If I was gonna vote for someone just because she was female it would be [Lil Kim],” she joked, prior to turning series and adding: “Accusing women of supporting Hillary just because she’s female is misogynistic BS. Women are smart enough to make decisions based on a number of factors: policy, track record, campaign strategy.” In the end, Dunham concluded that people should perhaps NOT insult women by pretending they vote “exclusively along vaginal party lines.” Expect plenty of candidates to get involved with celebrities in some way or another as we head toward the upcoming Presidential Election. We’ve already seen Mike Huckabee come out in support of Josh Duggar , while  Rick Santorum says he’s sickened by the scandal. Oh, and  Dan Bilzerian says he’s running for President. God help us all. Phil Mickelson Apologizes for California Tax Comments

Phil Mickelson made headlines this week, but not for draining any high-pressured birdie putts or choking away another Major. Instead, on Sunday, the popular golfer stepped into the contentious world of politics , complaining to the press about Proposition 30, the state measure passed last year in California that raises the tax burden on wealthy individuals. Along with federal taxes, Mickelson said he will now be paying nearly 63% of his income in taxes. “I’m not going to jump the gun, but there are going to be some (changes),” Mickelson said a few days ago, hinting at a move out of California. “There are going to be some drastic changes for me because I happen to be in that zone that has been targeted both federally and by the state and… it doesn’t work for me right now.” The comments were mostly met with derision, considering Sports Illustrated listed the golfer as the second-highest paid athlete in 2012, raking in $60 million between PGA tour winnings and endorsements. The public wasn’t thrilled to hear a multi-millionaire whine about his taxes, something Mickelson recognized yesterday in a statement to Fox News: “Finances and taxes are a personal matter and I should not have made my opinions on them public. I certainly don’t have a definitive plan at this time, but like everyone else I want to make decisions that are best for my future and my family.”

I am a fan of Miranda Kerr….even if she’s not the best their ever was…she’s marketed as though she is and that’s good enough for me…seeing as I believe everything I read, hear, see and am fed or told by the higher powers who control the media…I like them to make decisions for me…..and really based on these topless pics for Vogue, although strategic and not topless at all…all wigged out like a cancer patient…. how could they be wrong… Here’s the video….
