Source: Getty / Getty Officer Nathaniel Hendren has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after allegedly shooting a fellow officer during a game of Russian Roulette in his apartment. The 29-year old police officer was off-duty when the shooting occurred and Hendren was on-duty. FOX 8 News reports: Alix, Hendren and Hendren’s partner were playing with guns when Hendren produced a revolver. Hendren emptied the bullets from the revolver and put one of the bullets back inside the gun, spun the cylinder and fired the gun pointing away from Alix. The gun did not discharge. Alix took the gun and pulled the trigger while pointing at Hendren, but it did not fire. Hendren grabbed the gun back from Alix, pulled the trigger and this time it fired, striking Alix in the chest. Tell ‘Em How You REALLY Feel? Daz Dillinger Celebrates Suge Knight’s 28 Year Prison Sentence, “Death Row Over HAHA!”

Image via Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images/Scott Dudelson/Getty Images Daz Dillinger Celebrates Suge Knight’s 28-Year Prison Sentence Yesterday, news broke that Suge Knight plead guilty to the manslaughter of Terry Carter following the now-infamous argument on the set of Straight Outta Compton . Suge wasn’t exactly Mr. Congeniality within the music industry and he accumulated more enemies than friends during his tenure as the CEO and founder of Death Row Records. One such enemy is Tha Dogg Pound’s Daz Dillinger. Daz couldn’t possibly have been more jovial at the news that his former boss will sit behind bars for what is presumably the rest of his natural life. The rapper/producer took to Instagram to blow some celebratory kush in the air and sprinkled a pinch of salt Suge’s wound and even mocked his family. Sounds like Daz hasn’t been as forgiving of Suge like Snoop Dogg has. The beef never dies.

Cops Kill People: Shady Officer Who Killed 6-Year-Old Autistic Boy Convicted Of Manslaughter

Louisiana Cop Guilty Of Manslaughter In Jeremy Mardis Shooting Death Back in 2015 we reported on the police-involved killing of a 6-year-old autistic boy named Jeremy Mardis . 18 bullets were fired and Jeremy was shot 5 times, including twice in the head and chest, by Louisiana cops when they tried to serve his father a warrant. The NYPost is reporting that Derrick Stafford, one of the trigger-happy officers who killed Jeremy , has been found guilty of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter. A dashcam video showed that Jeremy’s father had his hands raised in the air when the officers began unloading. Stafford said he was unaware that a child was in the vehicle. Stafford cried when a prosecutor showed him photographs of the slain first-grader. He said he didn’t know the boy was in the car when he fired and didn’t see his father’s hands in the air. “Never in a million years would I have fired my weapon if I knew a child was in that car. I would have called off the pursuit myself,” Stafford said. Of course this cop didn’t knowingly murder a special needs child, but that child is dead nonetheless and the cop is supposed to be equipped with training and the highest standard of judgement. Sad. Judge Declares Mistrial In Police Manslaughter Case Over Death Of Former FAMU DB Jonathan Ferrell

Jury Unable To Reach Verdict In Manslaughter Case Against North Carolina Cop Randall Kerrick This case is so sad it looks like there’s not going to be a verdict anytime soon. Via MSNBC reports : A judge in North Carolina on Friday declared a mistrial in a police officer’s 2013 killing of unarmed former college football player Jonathan Ferrell. That means that the voluntary manslaughter charge against Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer Randall “Wes” Kerrick remains open. Kerrick, 29, shot Ferrell, 24, in a confrontation following a traffic accident. The jury of eight women and four men deliberated over four days, taking several votes but never coming close to a unanimous decision on Kerrick’s fate. In its last vote on Friday afternoon, the jury was split 8-4. At around 4:15 p.m. ET. the jury foreman told Judge Richard C. Ervin that the panel was deadlocked. Ervin asked if it would help if they broke for the weekend and returned on Monday, but the jury, in a show of hands, indicated it could go no further. His fate still rests with prosecutors, who must decide whether to seek another trial. The shooting unfolded on Sept. 14, 2013, after Ferrell, who’d once played defensive back for Florida A&M University, crawled from his wrecked car and staggered to a nearby house for help. A woman inside called 911 to report a possible break-in. Kerrick and two other officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene. Police dashcam footage showed officers pointing Tasers at Ferrell, who then ran. Kerrick, who’d been an officer for three years, stood in his path. He shouted for Ferrell to get on the ground, then shot Ferrell 10 times. Kerrick said he feared Ferrell was going to hurt him when he opened fire. Authorities charged Kerrick with manslaughter hours after the shooting. The officer’s defense attorney argued at the trial that dents on the home’s door indicated that Ferrell was force his way into the house, and stressed that he could have injured the officers even though he was not armed. But prosecutors said Ferrell wasn’t a threat, and argued that the defense was trying to “demonize” him. They said he did not approach the officers in an aggressive manner, and even if Kerrick felt threatened, he should have used his Taser or fought him off. Kerrick’s jury was racially diverse: seven white members, three blacks and two Latinos. It’s hard being black out here. We can’t even seek help after surviving life threatening car accidents. Do you think the jury should have found Officer Kerrick guilty?

Can You Blame Them? Michael Jackson’s Kids Say They Will Never Forgive Conrad Murray

Things just keep getting worse for Conrad. Michael Jackson’s Kids Will Never Forgive Conrad Murray Michael’s kids are still dealing with the loss of their father and this dude had the nerve to file to get his medical license back. According to Radar Online: Michael Jackson‘s children will never forgive Conrad Murray over the role he played in their father’s death, according to their cousin, RadarOnline.com has learned. The King of Pop’s niece Tanay Jackson, the daughter of Michael’s brother Tito, insists the family are extremely unhappy the former doctor was released from jail in October after serving less than two years of a four-year sentence for the involuntary manslaughter the King of Pop in June 2009. Most upset are Michael’s kids, Prince, 16, Paris, 15 and 11-year-old Blanket, who think it’s a disgrace Murray, 60, is out of prison and is trying to regain his medical license after being found guilty of administering the fatal dose of anesthetic Propofol that ultimately killed the “Thriller” singer. Tanay told the New York Daily News newspaper’s Confidenti@al column: “I think a murderer should get a longer sentence than that, I don’t think it’s fair. We really feel like there were more people involved in my uncle’s death. But Conrad Murray is the physical culprit because he physically injected him. “No, we haven’t forgiven him. We can’t forgive him at all. I categorized that person as a murderer. I categorize him as somebody who got away with murder. People in those categories I just can’t forgive. He should not be able to practice medicine. He was a physical culprit for the death of Michael. That’s a big joke to us that he wants to re-apply for his medical license.” Tanay, 29, thinks the “Beat It” singer’s daughter Paris has taken Murray’s release the worst, as she is still struggling to come to terms with the death of her father four years ago. Aspiring singer Tanay says Paris — who was hospitalized after alleged attempted suicide bid in June — is a teenager trying to cope with adult problems and has resorted to self-harming on occasions as a coping method. Tanay said: “Paris is going through a lot of emotional torment. She is under a tremendous amount of pressure. She is trying to find a way to escape and it doesn’t seem like anyone knows what to do. This is a 15-year-old going through a 40-year-old’s problems. There are a host of problems that Paris can’t handle alone. “It’s driven her to the point where she wants to escape the emotional pain.” Hopefully, with therapy and family support things can get better. Conrad Murray: Leave Me Out of MJ Lawsuit … OR ELSE!

Dr. Conrad Murray wants to be left out of the Michael Jackson wrongful death lawsuit , or else … he claims seriously bad things are gonna go down. Murray made this veiled threat last night in a bizarre, rambling voicemail he left on a friend’s voicemail, which TMZ obviously obtained , and it’s amazing. The doctor, who’s serving time for manslaughter in the 2009 death of Jackson, says that if he is forced to testify in the upcoming court case … watch out. Conrad Murray tells his friend that, in no uncertain terms: “If I am compelled to speak. I can cause one party or the other to experience the impact of an immediate seismic shock, resulting in a total and complete debacle.” So it’ll be like a 7.0 earthquake here. Of the legal variety. Murray was subpoenaed to testify in Katherine, Prince, Blaket and Paris Jackson’s $40 billion lawsuit against AEG, but has pleaded the fifth so far. MJ’s former physician doesn’t want to incriminate himself in any proceedings that could jeopardize his appeal to overturn his manslaughter conviction. Makes sense … but it makes you wonder. What’s he not saying about his relationship with AEG, and/or the late King of Pop’s family, that he don’t know? He didn’t specify who he’s dropping the bomb on. Hmm …

Dr. Conrad Murray Denied Bail, No One Shocked

Dr. Conrad Murray was just shot down in his request to be freed on bail while he appeals his involuntary manslaughter conviction in the 2009 death of Michael Jackson. Number of disappointed people not named Murray or Nicole Alvarez : Zero. During today’s hearing, Judge Michael Pastor said Murray is still a flight risk as he does not have significant property or family ties in Los Angeles. Judge Pastor also believes Murray is a danger to society, citing the MSNBC documentary in which Murray fails to show any remorse for MJ’s death. Pastor said “it scares me” that Murray believes it’s okay to use Propofol in a home setting and insists he could pose a danger to the safety of other people. Murray had previously asked for bail so he could spend time with his family (girlfriend Alvarez and their son) while he awaits the outcome of his appeal. He is hoping to overturn his manslaughter conviction on grounds he never had a chance to prove MJ killed himself due to stress … among other reasons. Murray’s appellate attorney Valerie Wass says she believes Murray is a “scapegoat” blamed for Michael’s death because there’s no one else to target. A judge, jury and the general public almost unanimously disagree. Jackson was not without fault, but Murray also wasn’t convicted of murdering him. His actions as a doctor fit the crime of involuntary manslaughter to a T.

Michael Jackson Doctor Can’t Afford Lawyer For Appeal

Conrad Murray asks judge for a court-appointed attorney to appeal his involuntary manslaughter conviction. By Gil Kaufman Dr. Conrad Murray Photo: Frederick M. Brown/ Getty Images Just weeks after being sent to jail for four years following a conviction on a felony involuntary manslaughter charge in the death of Michael Jackson , cardiologist Conrad Murray is throwing himself on the mercy of the court. The doctor had been slated to earn up to $150,000 a month to act as Jackson’s personal physician before the pop icon’s death in June 2009 from an overdose of the Murray-administered surgical anesthetic propofol. But on Tuesday E! News reported that Murray filed a notice of appeal in Los Angeles Superior Court in which he claimed that he is “indigent and respectfully requests the appointment of counsel on appeal.” Murray, 58, is planning to appeal both his conviction and his sentence, but has not year filed papers with the California Appeals Court. He had hired two lawyers to handle his manslaughter case, but is now seeking attorneys with appeal experience. One of those former lawyers, J. Michael Flanagan, told E! that he was shocked at how his client is being treated in jail. “It is crazy and unbelievable how [the sheriffs] are treating” Murray in jail, said Flanagan, who claimed he waited over an hour to see Murray, who was brought out in handcuffs and leg chains. Flanagan was further shocked to see Murray handcuffed to the table for their meeting, something the lawyer said he’d never seen before in the case of a low-level, non-violent offender. Charles Peckham, who is handling civil cases against Murray, told the Associated Press that his client is under tight security and isolation that is more intense than other inmates at the Los Angeles Men’s Central Jail. “Treating him like Hannibal Lecter is offensive,” said Peckham. Sheriff’s officials defended the tight security, saying it was for Murray’s safety. “This man who saved lives made a mistake, and they’re going to him pay like a mass-murderer.” Related Photos Michael Jackson: A Life In Photos Related Artists Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson’s Bodyguard And Chef Testify

Both describe Dr. Conrad Murray as panicked on the day of MJ’s death. By Kara Warner Michael Jackson’s bodyguard Alberto Alvarez testifies in court on September 29 Photo: Getty Images The third day of testimony in the manslaughter trial against former Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray once again featured former members of Jackson’s staff, bodyguard Alberto Alvarez and chef Kai Chase. Alvarez took the stand first Thursday (September 29) to describe his arrival on the scene. He claimed when he entered the room, he saw Murray performing chest compressions on Jackson with one hand, and that when Murray heard Alvarez enter, he made the frantic request for Alvarez to remove several vials of propofol — the potent anesthetic that was part of the official cause of Jackson’s death — from the room before he called for an ambulance. Jackson’s former personal chef was next to testify. After going through a list of the food items she prepared regularly for MJ and his children, mostly healthy meals like granola with almond milk and juice blends, Chase revealed that on the day of Jackson’s death, she was in the middle of preparing his lunch when a worried and panic-stricken Murray burst into the kitchen and shouted for her to “get help, get [son] Prince and get security.” Chase said she “did as she was told” and went into the den to alert Prince and that she did her best to keep the children calm. Testimony is set to resume again Friday at 8:45 a.m. PT. Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and administering the dose of propofol that caused Jackson’s death and faces four years in prison and the loss of his medical license if found guilty.
