Source: Dave Hogan / Getty The legacy of Michael Jackson has been tarnished in the views of some after the airing of the Leaving Neverland documentary. Adding to the fallout, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis removed some artifacts of the later entertainer from their facility. IndyStar.com reports : The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis removed three Michael Jackson items from exhibits this month, joining a handful of organizations that have reassessed connections to the late singer following HBO’s airing of documentary film “Leaving Neverland.” The two-part film, which premiered March 3-4, focuses on Wade Robson and James Safechuck, two adult men who allege Jackson sexually abused them when they were children. “When we put together exhibitions, we look at the objects and their association with high-profile people,” said Chris Carron, the museum’s director of collections. “Obviously, we want to put stories in front of our visitors (showing) people of high character.” The estate of Michael Jackson has launched a lawsuit against HBO for putting out the documentary. — Photo: Getty
Paris Jackson reportedly tried to kill herself on Saturday morning. The 20-year old daughter of Michael Jackson was thankfully unsuccessful, but she is currently in the hospital and her family is very concerned. Scroll down for all the details we have at this time… According to TMZ, police and the paramedics both responded to Jackson’s Los Angeles home at 7:30 a.m today. It’s unclear at this time exactly what state Paris was in and who called 911 — but sources tell this website that Paris slit her wrists . She was immidately transported to a hospital and placed on 5150 hold – which allows an individual with a purported mental illness to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization – and is in stable condition. TMZ reports with confidence that Paris tried to take her own life as a “direct response to the allegations made against her father in Leaving Neverland, ” the recently-aired documentary in which Wade Robson and James Safechuck accuse Michael Jackson of molesting them as kids. While such allegations have mostly been public knowledges for decades, this documentary depicted them in personal, sensitive and great detail for the first time in the eyes of many viewers. Just a day before this alleged suicide attempt, we here at The Hollywood Gossip has written about how Jackson’s loved ones were worried she might relapse into drug or alcohol use. Or even something worse. The 20-year old has staunchly defended her dad against these heinous sexual assault accusations — but she was also spotted smoking weed in a video a few days ago that left many followers in a state of anxiety. Jackson spent more of her teenage years battling substance abuse and had talked about attempting suicide many years ago. “Y’all take my life more seriously than Ido. Calm yo tittaaaaysss [sic],” Paris wrote in response this to an article about the abuse allegedly suffered by Robson and Safechuck. She followed this remark up with an explanatory statement that many fans found distressingly casual, considering the situation and the accusations against her world famous father. “I didn’t mean to offend by expressing that titties should be calm, I know injustices are frustrating and it’s easy to get worked up,” she wrote on Instagram, adding: “But reacting with a calm mind usually is more logical than acting out of rage and also … it feels better to mellow out. Smoke some weed n think about the bigger picture. Chillax my dudes.” The fallout from Leaving Neverland has been abrupt and severe. Michael’s music and television appearances have been getting muted since HBO aired the project; The Simpsons, for example, recently announced it would never again air an episode that centered on The King of Pop. Paris also tried to kill herself back in 2013 as well, and has been candid about her struggles with depression in the past. Just two months ago, Jackson checked into rehab for what she deemed to be emotional health issues. “After a busy year of work engagements that took her all over the globe, Paris decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritize her physical and emotional health,” a source close to Paris told People magazine at the time, concluding: “She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid in her wellness plan and is looking forward to coming out of this revitalized and ready to tackle the exciting new projects that await her.” Regardless of how you feel about Michael Jacksom, it’s impossible not to feel for his children throughout all of this. We send our prayers to Paris Jackson. UPDATE : TMZ reports that Paris is out of the hospital. But she has responded to the TMZ story on Twitter, writing, “f—k you you f—king liars.” She also posted a photo of herself on her Instagram Stories and wrote that she was “chillen like Bob Dylan.”

It’s been two weeks since Leaving Neverland premiered on HBO. The documentary detailing the child molestation allegations against Michael Jackson has been compared to a ” public lynching ” by the late pop star’s family. However, for many viewers, the film left little doubt about Jackson’s guilt. And since the crimes he’s been accused of are truly monstrous, the fallout from the evidence presented in Neverland has been appropriately swift and harsh. Of course, many in Jackson’s inner circle are concened not only with protecting the singer’s lucrative estate, but also his legacy. Chief among these defenders is Michael’s only daughter, Paris Jackson. Paris does not believe her father’s accusers , and she’s repeatedly laughed off their allegations in ways that many have found deeply offensive. But as much as she might pretend to be unbothered by the situation on social media, there have been indications that this growing scandal is beginning to take a toll on the aspiring model. Insiders say Paris is concerned that the allegations will derail her career , and she’s never once considered the possibility that her father might be guilty. Neverland has forced her to confront some very uncomfortable facts, and the process has reportedly caused her to fall back into some bad habits. Paris’ drug use has created significant problems in the past, and the 20-year-old checked into rehab just prior to the film’s debut. Now, however, Paris is out of treatment, and already back to partying. Radar Online has attained photos of what appears to be Paris drinking and clubbing with friends on Tuesday night. “Her eyes were wide and she was fidgety,” says one onlooker. “She was drinking lots and was with a big group of people,” the witness adds. Paris’ boyfriend, Gabriel Glenn , was also on hand, and the witness says the two of them got into a heated altercation that “nearly turned physical.” One insider says Paris’ family is deeply concerned about her health and well-being. “If things continue like this, Paris will end up back in rehab or — even worse — dead,” a source tells Radar. Here’s hoping Paris is able to sort herself out before the consequences become anymore dire. Her family has experienced enough tragedy for several lifetimes. Source: Mirrorpix / Getty Michael Jackson Seen In Jewelry Store With Sex Abuse Accuser In 1989 The public case against Michael Jackson has taken a turn and this one is going to be hard to ignore. TMZ has obtained surveillance footage from a store where Michael Jackson allegedly took sex abuse accuser James Safechuck shopping for jewelry back in 1989. Jackson is said to have donned a disguise including a fake mustache, phony teeth, and a wig to shop at a Zales in Simi Valley. Those of you who weren’t born or were too young might not remember, but this lil’ excursion became a big story in the late 80s because security stopped MJ thinking that he was in disguise to rob the store. At the time no one knew that the little boy seen in the video was with Jackson. TMZ has confirmed that the little boy was Safechuck. Obviously, this case will never see a courtroom, but in the court of public opinion this could be very damning to those were on the fence about Jackson’s guilt. In the Leaving Neverland documentary, Safechuck speaks of an “engagement ring” that Jackson bought him. That ring was not purchased during this trip according to TMZ, but the video definitely begs the question “What the HELL was Jackson doing in a jewelry store with a young boy?”. What do you make of this?
“L eaving Neverland ” premiered six days ago, which cause child abuse allegations against Michael Jackson to resurface. Now Brandi Jackson is speaking out, Jackson’s niece. In January of 1994, he reportedly settled for $23 million. The accuser’s father committed suicide in 2009, five months after the singer died. Jordan Chandler reportedly has never come forward about the allegations and supposedly lives outside of the country. In 2017, when Wade Robson, a choreographer who is featured in “Leaving Neverland,” accused Michael Jackson of sexual assault—even though he’d said in the past the singer didn’t assault him—there was a hunt to find Chandler. According to The Daily Mail , he left the U.S. to avoid investigators. In 2003, Michael Jackson was charged with seven counts of child molestation and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent to a 13-year-old boy. He was ultimately acquitted of all charges. Robson testified at the 2003 trial, but James Safechuck , the other person featured in “Leaving Neverland,” did not. Michael Jackson was acquitted of all charges. DING! DING! DING! We have a Real Housewives of New Jersey rivlary on our hands. And this one is nice, juicy and very personal. Earlier this week, on the final part of that show’s latest reunion special, Teresa Giudice spoke in no uncertain terms about the current and future status of her marriage. With husband Joe Giudice scheduled to be released from jail this month, and then deported back to Italy for committing a felony as a non-U.S. citzen, Teresa told Andy Cohen that this will signal the end of her marriage . She spoke rather plainly about her view on the situation as well. “I mean, unless my kids say, ‘Mommy, I want to move to Italy,” we aren’t moving there with him, Teresa said, adding of her four daughters: “Gia’s going to college next year; I haven’t spoken to Milania or Audriana about it, we haven’t gotten there yet; and Gabriella already voiced her opinion to me. “She was like, ‘That would be so hard for me, Mommy.’ She doesn’t speak the language. She’s like, ‘That would kill me even more.’” The veteran reality star went on to say these kids – Gia, 18, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 9 — have “been through so much already.” Which is true. But it’s because their parents are selfish, entitled criminals. Each has pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and each has served time in jail as a result. Because Joe never became a U.S. citizen, a judge decided in October that he had to return to his native Italy after he completed his sentence. Considering their family and the love we assumed they had for each other, wouldn’t Teresa stay by her man’s side through this difficult time? Nope! “I’m not doing a long-distance relationship. I’m not doing it,” she told Cohen, apparently appalled at the mere notion. “You know, I want somebody with me every day. I know exactly what happens. You know, I’m sure he’ll be with other women. It happens. We do the long-distance thing, it’s not going to work. I’d be like, ‘Bye, bye.’” At least she is making her feelings clear, we guess. How does Laurita feel about them? “I don’t understand Teresa’s decision to not stand by her man and keep her family intact,” she told Us Weekly . “If Joe is truly the love of her life and the father of her kids, you’d think she would go wherever he goes to keep the family together as a unit! I feel like they’ve been separated long enough! “Her decision seems a little selfish to me.” A little? That analysis seems a little generous to us. Teresa, of course, rakes it in as a Real Housewives cast member. And we hear she’s angling for a spinoff to increase her paycheck even more. Isn’t life all about money, Jacqueline? “I don’t care if I was making $1 million in the state of New Jersey. If my husband – the love of my life and father of my kids – said we were moving to a new state or a new country, I’d be like, ‘Bye, bye,’ and I’d get my kids together, pack up our sh-t and go with him,” he tell Us, concluding as follow: “That’s just what families are supposed to do. Ride or die.” We agree. But perhaps Giudice has a young and attractive reason for leaving Joe as well… View Slideshow: Teresa Giudice: Filing For Divorce Once Joe Gets Deported?!
When someone is praising Piers Morgan, you know that it’s going to be a mess. With the release of the chilling Leaving Neverland documentary about two men who accuse Michael Jackson of childhood sex abuse, he’s a hot topic. But T.I. is citing an old interview of Jackson’s and claiming that allegations against him are merely an “agenda against our culture.” T.I. has, in the past, used his fame and platform for good cuases — such as marijuana reform. Unfortunately, this week, he responded to the Leaving Neverland documentary by sharing a 1999 Michael Jackson interview. T.I. begins his caption: “Pierce Morgan a real one for this.” “I would slit my wrists before I would [harm a child]. I would never ever,” Jackson said in the old interview. “If it [weren’t] for children, I would throw in the towel,” he can be heard saying. “I would kill myself. I wouldn’t care to live.” Jackson is saying that he could never abuse a child because he loves them so much. “Let this man speak for himself to defend his legacy,” T.I. writes alongside the interview clip. He insists: “Don’t just listen to one side and expect to find truth.” For the record, Michael Jackson’s side told its tale repeatedly over the years, in interviews and in court. Notably, the two men featured in Leaving Neverland had helped to tell Michael’s side when they were much younger. But T.I. suggests that any current discussion of Jackson’s legacy amounts to badmouthing someone who cannot respond. “Oh that’s right…” he writes. “Dead men can’t speak.” “So what was the point again?” T.I. asks. Some would say that the truth is either always or almost always its own rewward, that it holds intrinsic value. Others would say that every #MeToo story, including those in Leaving Neverland, helps spread awareness of powerful sexual predators. But T.I. believes that there is another motive. He suggests: “Destroy another strong black historical LEGEND?!?!” Yikes, dude. “[There are] several examples of pedophilia in American History…” T.I. points out. That is absolutely true. “if y’all pulling up all our old s–t…” he begins. T.I. continues: “we gotta examine ELVIS PRESLEY, HUGH HEPHNER, and a whole slew of others.” He suggests that these individuals are “guilty of the same if not more!!!” We won’t litigate his characterization of those men, but we’ll note that Elvis has certainly been accused of preying upon multiple 14-year-old girls. Though Michael Jackson’s alleged victims were closer to half of that age, we believe that all sexual predators should be exposed and reviled. T.I. then implies that Michael Jackson is being mentioned as the result of a racist conspiracy. “BUT WHY US all the time?” he asks. It seems clear that he is also thinking of the recent and long overdue arrests of disgraced rapper R. Kelly . “There’s an agenda to destroy OUR CULTURE,” he theorizes. In his mind, sex abuse survivors telling their stories is part of a larger scheme. He claims: “These are assaults against OUR CULTURE!!!” “Make no mistake of it!!!” T.I. concludes. Questions about why the accusers are coming forward now are best answered by this satirical headline from The Onion . We understand that it is frustrating and disappointing when a celebrity or other entertainer whom you admire does something bad. But the “threat” to expose other accused sexual predators is empty. All sexual predators are bad. His suggestion that there’s some sinister agenda plays right into the arguments made by the likes of R. Kelly and Bryan Singer. R. Kelly has suggested that accusations against him are the result of him being a successful black man. Bryan Singer has accused allegations against him as being homophobic in nature. There have been real conspiracies against minorities. Abuse survivors telling their stories are not examples of that. If T.I. really want to make a plea and do some good, he should just remind people to not harass Michael Jackson’s kids about what their father may have done. That man welcomed you in his home. And you spoke of how beautiful, and all the love this man has shown children all over the world.” Clearly Mo isn’t letting up in Oprah anytime soon. “When we’re calling someone a molester and they’re no longer here… Michael Jackson is not here to defend himself, which is a major problem.
