The 25-year old singer spoke at length during the August 2 episode of Ali Fedotowsky and Rachel Lindsay’s “Bachelor Happy Hour,” discussing all that transpired this season between him, Hannah Brown and his pesky ex-girlfriend, Haley Stevens. Why has our opinion of Wyatt plummeted to even lower depths now than it was at before? Scroll down to find out! 1. Ready for a Quick Refresher? Here we go: Wyatt was the final man standing for Hannah Brown on The Bachelorette Season 15. He proposed to her on the finale and she accepted. 2. HOWEVER… … Brown then came across some articles and Internet posts that alleged Wyatt had left a woman behind when he left for Los Angeles and The Bachelorette. These reports claimed that Wyatt told this woman, Haley Stevens, that he loved her and was only going on the show to further his music career. 3. How Did Hannah React? She ended their engagement after just two days after Jed admitted that the articles were basically true. He did date Haley, he did sleep with her, he did tell her he loved her and he didn’t even formally end their relationship? 4. What? He Didn’t?!? Nope. He admitted on air that he just assuemed Haley would get the message about the romance being over once she saw him on The Bachelorette. 5. Does He At Least Feel Bad About It? We guess so. “The main thing is just how sorry I am. I really have had time to think about the things that have happened and how Hannah has felt. I’m very remorseful and ultimately just want to become a better person because of all of this.” 6. What Has He Now Said About Haley? “If you really do love someone, no matter how promising they’ve made it seem, if they’re going on a dating show, regardless of why they’re going on a dating show, why would you stay with them?” Wyatt actually said on Bachelor Happy Hour, basically trashing Haley for being an idiot and adding: “If I was in a relationship, I would not have gone onto a dating show. Earlier this month, we heard reports that Justin Bieber was ignoring his wife to chat with Selena Gomez . We didn’t want to believe it, for Hailey’s sake — or, frankly, for Selena’s. But a new report says that Hailey discovered that Justin was chatting with Selena behind her back. And she went ballistic . According to RadarOnline , Hailey Baldwin “exploded” when she looked through her famous husband’s cell phone. “Justin is constantly talking about Selena,” an insider reports. Pro tip: Discussions of your ex — especially your most serious ex — can often be a sore subject around your new spouse. “And Hailey is at her boiling point with all of this,” the source expresses. The discovery of their alleged communications, however, pushed things over the edge. Apparently, Hailey was doing her level best to make peace with Justin’s reported fixation on Selena. “But” the insider claims. “When she caught Justin with Selena texts on his phone last week,” that all changed. “Hailey absolutely lost it,” the source reports. “And,” the insider adds, Hailey even personally “reached out to Selena.” The source explains that she made this contentious contact. “to tell her to stay away from her man!” Shockingly, the insider claims that Selena “laughed” at Hailey’s attempt to set a boundary. “Selena thinks all of this is just hilarious,” the source reports. The insider explains that Selena allegedly holds this opinion “because she knows that Justin will always love her.” “And,” the source adds, Selena supposedly knows “that Hailey is disposable.” “The worst part,” the insider opines. “Is that Hailey knows this too.” “There is truly nothing that Hailey can do to change how Justin feels,” the source laments. Other people’s feelings are their own, and out of our control. For that matter, some people can’t even control their own feelings! “He is talking to Selena again,” the insider emphasizes. “And,” the source adds. “The two of them are on good terms.” It sounds like Jelena shippers, at the very least, don’t think that Justin’s marriage to a whole other person means much. Not in the long run, anyway. “Hailey is a small blip in his life,” the insider cruelly characterizes. “And,” the source claims. “Everyone knows that it is just a matter of time before she is out of the picture.” Wow, that is cold. But … is it true? At the risk of stealing Gossip Cop ‘s schtick, this just doesn’t add up to a true story. We don’t know what this alleged source heard or didn’t hear. Maybe Hailey is insecure in her marriage because of how quickly it happened and how unorthodox it was, at times. But we cannot for the life of us imagine Selena Gomez cheerfully gloating over Hailey’s misery. For one thing, Selena is the one who ended things, and it’s believed that she did so last time because she realized that Justin hadn’t really changed. Justin’s indecision and personal issues don’t mean that Selena feels the same way. We hope that Hailey knows that. Sometimes, the feuds you never see coming turn out to be the most amusing ones. That’s certainly proving to be the case with the all-out war between Team Bachelorette and Team Kelly Ripa . Here’s a brief rundown, in case you’re not caught up on this escalating spat: Earlier this week, Ripa’s co-host, Ryan Seacrest, informed her that current Bachelorette star Hannah Brown would be appearing on their daytime talk show. This shouldn’t have come as a surprise, as Live! and The Bachelorette are both ABC properties, and it’s not uncommon for networks to fill airtime with this sort of synergistic cross-promotion. But Ripa was apparently caught off-guard, as she admitted she has no idea who Hannah is, and she is very much not a fan of The Bachelorette. “You guys, you know how I feel about the show, it disgusts me,” Ripa told her audience. “I can’t stand the idea of 25 exceptional women fighting over one ordinary fella, in my opinion,” she added. “You know how I feel, ladies, we are too special to be arguing over a guy.” From there, Ripa wagged a finger at her own audience, saying, “All of you women watch that gross, gross show.” Not surprisingly, the show’s creator, Mike Fleiss, was quick to clap back at Ripa with a tweet that many thought crossed the line into impropriety: “Easy, Kelly Ripa,” he wrote. “The Bachelor franchise pays your salary.” Ripa never responded to Fleiss’ provocation but her good friend Ellen Pompeo of Grey’s Anatomy fame entered the fray on her behalf: “Okay @fleissmeister… that’s some handle bro!” she tweeted. “Your show does NOT pay @KellyRipa salary. Also we don’t attack successful women on our network and men certainly cannot take credit for their success. Don’t get me started on your show cuz I’m a savage…. #bachelorsoooowhite.” “Took a break [from Twitter] but had to jump back in the ring for my girl @KellyRipa,” Pompeo later added. Pretty intense stuff. Surely, the woman at the center of all of this, Hannah Brown, must also have some harsh words for Ripa, right? Well … not so much. Brown appeared on Kelly and Ryan this morning , and while she may have sounded as though she were reading from a script prepared by some network PR goon, she maintained an amicable tone throughout. “Ultimately, it was one of the most empowering things that I ever have done because I had to push myself and grow as an individual,” Hannah said. “And I did. And I think that’s why I decided that I wanted to be the Bachelorette and wanted that so bad.” We suppose at the end of the day, shows like The Bachelorette are like beauty pageants — they may seem outdated and sexist to some, but isn’t it also sexist to tell the women who find fulfillment in them that they’re not allowed to participate? As Larissa shared with her fans, she got her private bits bleached. She shared a photo along with the announcement, and cannot stop raving about the color. 1. Larissa Lima got some more work done! She loves the results Larissa writes: “It’s so pink now!!” followed by a VERY illustrative emoji of a tight, circular, pink flower. 4. She doesn’t really spell it out, but … What she’s talking about is likely anal bleaching. Notably, this does not usually refer to literal “bleach,” the chemical, but lightening skin tone. There IS such a thing as “vaginal bleaching,” in which parts of the labia are lightened in color, but between common sense and Larissa’s emoji choice, anal bleaching sounds like the most likely procedure. 5. Viewers were left with plenty of questions after Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 , most of them based on frustration over the plot and/or the pacing. Did Dany’s homicidal heel turn make sense? Was it unsatisfying to see Cersei not get killed off by one of her enemies? Is Tyrion the dumbest Hand of the King or Queen to ever hold that job? But at least a handful of fans also have a far more practical question or concern. They’re wondering: Is Arya dead?!? The youngest Stark daughter entered King’s Landing on this penultimate installment of the epic drama in order to slay Cersei herself. However, just as Arya and The Hound arrived at their destination (the latter intent on finally killing his brother), Arya was talked out of crossing a name off her list by her very unexpected good friend. The Hound convinced Arya (pretty darn quickly, some might say) NOT to pursue a life based on revenge because, well, take a look at him and his unhappiness. At this, Arya turned around and tried to make her way out of the rubble. Buildings collapsed all around her. Fire rained down. Men, women and children were blown into bits by Dany and her dragon. And yet… Arya survived. The episode ended with her coming across a mysterious white horse and riding it away from the battle and, presumably, to safety. Did she really, though? A new theory has emerged online in which some Game of Thrones fans believe Arya is actually dead. They cite the number of times she somehow made her way through near-death situations on the episode, along with the alleged identity of that random white horse. Remember the animal leading the Golden Company at the outset of the 80 minutes, these social media users ask? It looks almost identical to the horse who rode in to save the day — but that horse was killed in battle. So you know what this has to mean, right? “Yeah, I’m pretty sure Arya is dead too,” one user writes, adding: “She got all burnt up and a building fell on her. They made a point of showing us the death of the horse and the countless deaths of Arya. And yet they both rise from the ashes. “If this isnt some lord of light shit, I’m gonna be pissed.” Many viewers, of course, are already pissed over how this season has gone. They really don’t know whether the finale can save the show or not . At the very least, however, these same viewers are hoping or assuming that Arya kills Dany, perhaps using the fancy changing face technique she learned while training to be an assassin. You know how your Aunt Carol is always flooding your social media feed with memes about made-up holidays devoted to hot dogs or offshore oil rig workers? Well, she dropped the ball in a big way if she failed to inform you that it’s national Hot Takes About the Bachelorette Day! Now, it appears that Kelly Ripa is equally disdainful of the whole freakin’ franchise! Yes, it may be the creeping apathy that comes with being forced to sit next to Ryan Seacrest every morning, but it seems that Kelly has exactly zero f–ks to give. The woman is creeped out by the whole Bachelor/Bachelorette content machine, and she doesn’t care who knows it! On today’s episode of Live With Kelly and Dude From American Idol Who’s Somehow Still a Thing , Seacrest revealed to Ripa that Hannah Beast herself will be a guest on the show later this week. Not only did Ripa apparently have no idea who Hannah is, she made no qualms about the fact that she is not a member of Bachelorette nation. “Oh, it’s an entirely different person?” she asked after revealing that she thought Colton Underwood’s girlfriend, Cassie Randolph, was the new Bachelorette . “You guys, you know how I feel about the show, it disgusts me,” Ripa told her bemused audience. “I can’t stand the idea of 25 exceptional women fighting over one ordinary fella, in my opinion,” she added. “You know how I feel, ladies, we are too special to be arguing over a guy.” At that point, Ripa unleashed her fury on the studio audience like Daenerys Targaryen at King’s Landing . Or she gently chided them for watching a show she doesn’t like. Same difference. “Having said that,” she scolded. “All of you women watch that gross, gross show.” Okay, so Kelly doesn’t care for The Bachelor? But how does she feel about The Bachelorette ? Well, apparently, she thinks it’s “it’s all creepy” and she describes The Bachelorette as “just as creepy” as The Bachelor. So it seems that while there might be some feminist beliefs behind Ripa’s distaste for the franchise, ultimately she finds the whole idea of a rabid competition with a human being as the reward to be a bit unseemly. Wendy Williams may be done with her cheating husband. But she isn’t done with the concept of cheaters in general, as the talk show host made clear this morning on the latest episode of her daytime program. One month after Williams finally filed to divorce Kevin Hunter , who has admitted to stepping out his wife multiple times with different women, Wendy said the following on air Friday: “There are a lot of women with no respect for a marriage. “You know what I’m saying? A lot of women who know your man is married and will have the nerve to be right up under him, right under your nose.” Williams went off on this rant in response to Ayesha Curry‘s frustrations over females who have tried to cross boundaries with her husband Steph Curry – even while Ayesha is standing right next to the basketball legend. Wendy promptly shared a snippet from Ayesha’s interview with Jada Pinkett Smith on Red Table Talk, where she recounted an incident in which a fan “crossed the line with her,” explaining in more detail: “We wanted to buy bikes one day … [daughter] Riley, at the time, she’s less than a year old. And this group of people come over, they’re trying to ask Steph for pictures and autographs. “The woman opens the car door, sticks her body in the car and is just like, ‘Oh, let me see.’ And I’m like, ‘No, no, get out of the car.’ “And she goes, ‘Oh, honey, you know what you signed up for.’” Williams immediately shared her opinion on such groupies. “For you lonely girls who can’t keep their hands off other people’s men, there’s a hot place in hell for you,” the host said sharply She’s not really talking about Ayesha and Steph Curry here, though, of course. She’s talking about Hunter and Sharina Hudson, the mistress with whom her estranged husband has been sleeping for years . Rumors have circulated for a very long time about this affair, but they took on a disturbing life of their own after Hudson actually gave birth to Hunter’s baby this spring . Williams, a former hard drug user, responded to this development by falling off the wagon, getting drunk and getting rushed to the hospital. Thankfully, she eventually collected herself and kicked Hunter to the curb. At last. “The split is definitely due to Kevin’s ongoing infidelity and that his mistress recently welcomed their child,” a source told People Magazine. “Wendy had hired a private investigator and confronted him. He confessed to everything three weeks ago.” He confessed to nearly everything in public, too. “28 years ago I met an amazing woman: Wendy Williams. At the time, I didn’t realize that she would not only become my wife, but would also change the face of entertainment and the world,” said Hunter in mid-April , perhaps laying it on a bit too thick. He continued: “I have dedicated most of our lives to the business empire that is Wendy Williams Hunter, a person that I truly love and respect unconditionally.” And he concluded: I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans. I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs. No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine I ask that you please give me and my family privacy as we heal. Thank you. Williams has fully come to her senses, sources confirm. She has fired Hunter as a producer on her talk show and she vows not to give him a dime in the divorce settlement. Source: Adene Sanchez/ Getty Images / Getty All Whites Matter… Hoschton, GA Mayor Rejects Black Candidate We’d love to say this is unbelievable but we’ve long known that Georgia outside of Atlanta isn’t the friendliest of places for black people. The mayor of Hoschton, GA is currently the subject of an Atlanta Journal Constitution investigation because she allegedly withheld a job candidate from consideration for a city administrator role because he was black. According to documents obtained by the AJC and interviews with city officials, Mayor Theresa Kenerly told a member of the City Council she pulled Keith Henry’s resume from a packet of four finalists “because he is black, and the city isn’t ready for this.” The mayor’s comments were reportedly whispered to a member of the council during a closed-door session on March 4th, and were overheard. Councilwoman Hope Weeks said Kenerly repeated her comments in the parking lot after the meeting, according to a document released by the city in response to an open records request from the AJC. “She proceeded to tell me that the candidate was real good, but he was black and we don’t have a big black population and she just didn’t think Hoschton was ready for that,” Weeks wrote in an account dated March 4. Weeks shared Kenerly’s comments with Councilwoman Susan Powers and the two decided to take the issue to city attorney Thomas Mitchell. “Both of us were just appalled, so we thought we had to do something to stop it,” Powers said. Weeks declined to be interviewed on the record, but issued a statement saying she was disappointed in the mayor’s comments about the candidate. “Mr. Henry was a very professional and qualified candidate who was a finalist for the position of city administrator before withdrawing to accept another position,” she said. “I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the citizens of Hoschton, but this has been one of the most challenging seasons of my life.” According to emails obtained by the AJC, Mitchell and the city’s five elected officials opted to continue the hiring process, allowing Kenerly to attend but not participate. Mitchell also cautioned officials to cease sending emails about the issue. “I do not think it in the best interests of the city (or the individual elected officials) to continue emailing in this manner,” he wrote in a March 14 email. In emails, Powers protested the mayor’s continued involvement in the search for a city administrator. “Since she corrupted this entire process by trying to shield the application of Mr. Henry from Council members and then making the comment to the effect that while he is qualified he should not be considered because he is black and the city is not ready for this, she should not be a part of this hiring process,” Powers wrote. “I am appalled that in 2019 an applicant would not be hired based solely on the color of their skin.” Henry withdrew his candidacy not long after the March 4 meeting and a phone interview with council members. He told the AJC he chose to withdraw because the city asked that he pay his travel, room, and board to travel for an in-person interview with the promise of reimbursement at a later date. Two of the other candidates for the position were local, while the third was willing to drive from the Georgia coast at his own expense. Henry told the AJC he didn’t detect any bias after being interviewed by Kenerly over the phone but as a black man applying for executive government positions in small Southern towns, he wasn’t surprised that it may have existed. “It comes with the territory,” he said. “If you live in America as a minority you can’t be naïve that it is the reality that you face.” Kenerly refused to initially answer questions about her reported comments, saying she could not publicly talk about matters that occurred in executive session even though the law does not forbid that. “I can’t say I said it or not said it,” she said. Kenerly later issued a statement disputing accounts from other city officials. Kenerly was not without defenders. Councilman Jim Cleveland confirmed many aspects of the story, including his account that Kenerly made a tearful apology in another executive session on March 12, where council members say she claimed to be “looking out” for Henry because the city does not have a lot of minority residents. “I was there for that,” Cleveland said. “She cried. She had tears in her eyes. It was in my opinion a very sincere apology.” Cleveland also seemed to express understanding of Kenerly’s motives saying: “I understood where she was coming from,” he said. “I understand Theresa saying that, simply because we’re not Atlanta. Things are different here than they are 50 miles down the road.” Cleveland described Hoschton as “a predominantly white community” not in accord with urban sensibilities about race.“I don’t know how they would take it if we selected a black administrator. She might have been right,” he said. Cleveland said he ranked Henry fourth out of the candidates in any case because he’d elected not to come for the in-person interview. Councilman Cleveland also shared his not so enlightened views on race: “I’m a Christian and my Christian beliefs are you don’t do interracial marriage. That’s the way I was brought up and that’s the way I believe,” he said. “I have black friends, I hired black people. But when it comes to all this stuff you see on TV, when you see blacks and whites together, it makes my blood boil because that’s just not the way a Christian is supposed to live.” YIKES… Sounds like Hoschton has a loooooong way to go when it comes to race. Located just outside Gwinnett County, in Jackson County, adjacent to the larger city of Braselton, Hoschton has a population of less than 2,000 people and only 201 of that number identify as non-white according to U.S. Census data. Hoschton’s city code reads: “There shall be no discrimination exercised because of race, national origin, color, religion, creed, age, sex … All personnel actions shall be based solely on individual merit and fitness.” Looks like the code is a long way from being followed.
