Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian: Kaught Krying Over Kim Kardashian Engagement

The first video of Kanye West proposing to Kim Kardashian has hit the Internet. But while we see the rapper down on one knee in the footage , and while we hear the orchestra and witness streams of loved ones rushing the field at AT&T Park to wish the newly-engaged couple all the best… we can’t really make out any true emotion in the clip. Cue Khloe Kardashian! The reality star posted a picture to Instagram today of her and Kylie Jenner “having a moment,” as she wrote in the caption, clearly overcome with happiness during the festivities. Check out their “#TearsOfJoy” here: Really, nothing screams sentimentality more than an E! boom mic hanging over your eyes, right?

WATCH: Matthew McConaughey Hides Out In Jeff Nichols’ Southern Drama ‘Mud’

Writer-director Jeff Nichols returns with the Arkansas-set drama Mud , which vied for the Palme d’Or at Cannes and sweeps through the Sundance Film Festival this week with stars Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon in tow. Watch the film’s first trailer — which does indeed feature a shirtless McConaughey, along with simmering Southern-fried intrigue and a palpable sense of menace — and stay tuned for more updates from Park City. Synopsis: MUD is an adventure about two boys, Ellis (Tye Sheridan) and his friend Neckbone (Jacob Lofland), who find a man named Mud (Matthew McConnaughey) hiding out on an island in the Mississippi. Mud describes fantastic scenarios—he killed a man in Texas and vengeful bounty hunters are coming to get him. He says he is planning to meet and escape with the love of his life, Juniper (Reese Witherspoon), who is waiting for him in town. Skeptical but intrigued, Ellis and Neckbone agree to help him. It isn’t long until Mud’s visions come true and their small town is besieged by a beautiful girl with a line of bounty hunters in tow. Mud hits theaters April 26, 2013 and also stars Sam Shepard, Michael Shannon, Tye Sheridan and Jacob Lofland. [via Yahoo ] Follow Jen Yamato on Twitter . Follow Movieline on Twitter .

Oscar Campaign Playbook? Jennifer Lawrence Shows Off Comedic Chops In ‘SNL’ Promos

Jennifer Lawrence hasn’t had many opportunities to show off her comedic chops onscreen — she only burst onto the scene three years ago in Winter’s Bone , then quickly filled up her dance card with action blockbusters like X-Men: First Class and The Hunger Games before taking on the awards season contender Silver Linings Playbook — but the Best Actress front-runner has been delighting awards-watchers left and right on the Oscar circuit these past few months. The girl is funny — sardonic, whip-smart, witty, self-deprecating, and she knows what’s what as she plays the Hollywood game, which is why her post-Golden Globes hosting gig on Saturday Night Live will be one to watch. The promo bits are hit and miss — spoofing awards season with Jason Sudeikis, Lawrence at least nails the giddy awkwardness of getting up on that podium only to be played off by the orchestra, amirite Daniel Day-Lewis ? — but it’s promising enough just to see her mugging for the laughs. Here’s hoping once that Silver Linings Oscar is on her mantle she’ll tackle some comedies. Actual real comedies that grown-ups might want to watch! Now there’s an idea. The SNL gig also cements Lawrence as the popular favorite in her race, although I’d totally watch Emmanuelle Riva and Quvenzhané Wallis tag-team an SNL co-hosting gig. Think bigger next time, guys. Vuvuzelas Can Be Eco-Friendly As Well As Noisy

Image from Vuvuzela Orchestra Vuvuzela: a word (and sound) that has gone from being local to global in 24 hours. It’s the plastic horn that produces the droning, buzzing sound in the background of the World Cup football matches. And you either love them, if you are South African, or hate them if you are the rest of the world. There have been pleas to ban them but World Cup organisers are asking fans to “please embrace our culture and the way we celebrate.” There are fears that they will become a staple of British games now as fans stuff them into their suitcases. But what to do with them … Read the full story on TreeHugger

Manchester Orchestra Prepare For Bonnaroo, Hair-Raising New Album

‘I really want hair to be standing up on your arms for the whole record,’ frontman Andy Hull says of next effort. By James Montgomery Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull Photo: MTV News Manchester Orchestra main man Andy Hull is a pretty hirsute dude. So when he starts talking about recording a new album and he mentions that his main goal is to make the listener’s hair stand straight up, well, then you know he means business. “We’re gonna record a new record in June. It’s going to be different, really beautiful and very wide — not wide stylistically, more like it’s gonna be a broad and big,” Hull told MTV News. “I really want hair to be standing up on your arms for the whole record — that’s kind of my goal.” And while the Orchestra are still riding high on the success of last year’s Mean Everything to Nothing — which bowed at #37 on the Billboard albums chart, earned them tons of critical acclaim and even generated a modest radio hit (“I’ve Got Friends”) — they’re already working on the follow-up. That’s just the way they tend to operate. “We’ve never been afraid of hard work,” Hull smiled. But a new album isn’t the only thing they’ve got lined up for June. They’ve just been confirmed to appear at the 2010 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival , taking place that same month in Manchester, Tennessee. Joining them are some of the biggest names in the game (Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band, Weezer), but they’re not nervous. After all, they’ve learned from some of the best — and weirdest — bands out there. “You tour with, like, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Kings of Leon for three months, you just have to turn up and become a rock band. And we were very influenced by that and a bunch of bands that we were able to tour with,” Hull said. “We were able to tour with weirder bands, like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! and play with Okkervil River, where Clap Your Hands are, like, this kind of weird music and the Okkervil is beautiful folk music, so we got to tour with a bunch of awesome bands and kind of get to know all these people, and we’re definitely influenced by it.” Related Artists Manchester Orchestra
