I wasn’t too surprised when I heard Kate Upton made the cover of Shape Magazine ‘s September issue, considering I’ve been talking up her perfect shape ever since her and those giant funbags of hers first burst onto the scene. And, uh, speaking of bursting, I think you might want to stay seated for 20 minutes after reading this post. Just to be safe. Enjoy.
Looks like there’s yet another same-sex appreciation anthe m hitting the airwaves. New R&B songstress Avian has unofficially burst onto the scene with a risque ode to lady loving, “Billboard Chick.” In the track, the new Dipset It-Girl sings very frankly about her dreams of smashing the top female music stars in the game, including Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Britney Spears. Meanwhile Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and Cam’ron back up her lesbi-honest claims in their first musical collaboration together in over three years. Have a listen below: So what do you think Bossip fam? Is this a banger?
Who Is Our Celebrity Dad? These two smiling faces are the children of a rapper turned reality star who has been around in the industry for quite some time. He kept a relatively low profile following his run as an artist before emerging back onto the scene as part of a rowdy reality tv franchise a few years ago. Any guesses as to who brought these two cool kids into the world? Hit the flip to see if you’re right…
Gus Van Sant is gunning to take a seat in the director’s chair on the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. He’s so eager to win the job, in fact, that he shot a test scene without even being asked to submit one. So who was his Christian in the steamy sex scene? Alex Pettyfer. Pettyfer was thrust onto the scene with last year’s Magic Mike , and it appears as though the 23-year-old has already typecast himself as a hunk (poor him?). A director has yet to be chosen for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie , but the studio has been eager to fast-track the film in order to capitalize on the success of the novel. Once a director is chosen, the biggest question left is who should play Christian and Anastasia in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie?
Jennifer Lawrence hasn’t had many opportunities to show off her comedic chops onscreen — she only burst onto the scene three years ago in Winter’s Bone , then quickly filled up her dance card with action blockbusters like X-Men: First Class and The Hunger Games before taking on the awards season contender Silver Linings Playbook — but the Best Actress front-runner has been delighting awards-watchers left and right on the Oscar circuit these past few months. The girl is funny — sardonic, whip-smart, witty, self-deprecating, and she knows what’s what as she plays the Hollywood game, which is why her post-Golden Globes hosting gig on Saturday Night Live will be one to watch. The promo bits are hit and miss — spoofing awards season with Jason Sudeikis, Lawrence at least nails the giddy awkwardness of getting up on that podium only to be played off by the orchestra, amirite Daniel Day-Lewis ? — but it’s promising enough just to see her mugging for the laughs. Here’s hoping once that Silver Linings Oscar is on her mantle she’ll tackle some comedies. Actual real comedies that grown-ups might want to watch! Now there’s an idea. The SNL gig also cements Lawrence as the popular favorite in her race, although I’d totally watch Emmanuelle Riva and Quvenzhané Wallis tag-team an SNL co-hosting gig. Think bigger next time, guys. She ain’t neva scared Angela Simmons Covers New Issue Of Fearless Magazine The latest issue of Fearless Magazine will feature perky preacher’s kid Angela Simmons. The businesswoman, reality TV star, and oft-bikini-clad banger speaks on life in the spotlight, the criticism, and self-esteem issues that go along with it. I’ve overcome a lot of obstacles! For me, when I first came onto the scene I dealt with criticism about my weight and how I looked, but I’ve overcome that. I’ve learned that everyone has an opinion when you’re in the spotlight, but what matters most is how YOU feel about yourself. I’ve gotten over being criticized, and learned [it’s] just not important. There are other things to focus your energy on. It’s important to keep your biggest cheerleaders closest to you and I will say my friends and family are always apart of my life because they help in shaping me as an individual. Without them, I don’t know where I would be. Through both the good and the hard times they are always there to lean on with the best advice. With [their] help I can say it has been an amazing journey. Check out the photos from Rev Run’s baby girl below. Images via Fearless Source
Don’t know Sandra McCoy ? Sure you do. This tight-bodied former Laker Girl first bust-ed onto the scene with a featured role as the “Dirty Pop Girl” in the N*Sync video “Pop”. Her career seemed to be off to a SKINful start, but Sandra quickly deflated Mr. Skin’s nude hopes by hiring a body double to provide stunt sacks for Wild Things: Diamonds in the Rough (2005) and stopping at her skivvies as she stripped down for the 2005 horror-thriller Cry_Wolf . So it was not without a bit of skepticism we approached Sandra’s supposed nude debut on the Skinemax softcore series Femme Fatales . But now that Mr. Skin’s team of nudity experts has reviewed the evidence, we can say that those are definitely Sandra’s suck sacks in two of the three scenes on this week’s show. The other? Well, that’s some classic body double muff…er, stuff. Why so (Mc)Coy, Sandra? See more stills of Sandra McCoy’ s nude debut on Femme Fatales after the jump!

Toronto MC tells MTV News he’ll perform brand-new Nicki Minaj duet ‘Make Me Proud’ on Saturday; teases a ‘special guest.’ By Rob Markman Drake Photo: MTV News Drake only burst onto the scene in 2009, but in those two years there isn’t too much that the Toronto MC hasn’t done. By tomorrow night, Drizzy can cross a “Saturday Night Live” appearance off of his list of accomplishments because, for the first time, the Young Money soldier will appear on the show as the musical guest alongside host Anna Faris. “It’s crazy places that rap music can take you and doors that can open up off of the things that we’ve worked on all these years,” Drake told MTV News after “SNL” show rehearsals on Thursday in New York. “It’s so crazy being here today with the same band that I’ve been rolling with — all guys from Toronto. This is crazy, man, this is crazy. It’s an honor for sure.” During his musical set, Drake will perform songs from his November 15 album Take Care, including his newly released “Make Me Proud,” which features Nicki Minaj. Although Drake wouldn’t confirm whether Nicki will appear with him on Saturday, he did promise a “larger-than-life” performance. “One thing that I do notice is not too many people bring atmosphere change [as ‘SNL’ musical guests], so I really pushed to change the station into something different and I think I did a great job of that,” he said. “I just hope that visually and sonically, it’s a superior performance.” While things weren’t completely finalized when we caught up with the former “Degrassi” star, he said he also hoped to be able to get some acting in: “I think that I’m gonna be involved in the actual skits.” Are you looking forward to Drake’s ‘”SNL” performance? ‘There’s no Rick Ross offensive things going on in there, even though it sounds like it,’ she tells MTV News of recent radio freestyle. By Steven Roberts Kreayshawn Photo: MTV News Kreayshawn has received her fair share of hate over her relatively brief career. The Best New Artist nominee at the 2011 VMAs exploded onto the scene with “Gucci Gucci,” but critics have been quick to write her off as a flash in the pan. Find out how to win a trip to the VMAs courtesy of Foursquare and MTV! Her freestyle on Philly’s “Cosmic Kev Come Up Show” earlier this month didn’t do her any favors either. During the less-than-stellar display, Kreayshawn took a shot at Rick Ross and his much-scrutinized past as a corrections officer. “You tryin’ to play me like a boss? You faker than Rick Ross,” she rapped on-air. When MTV News caught up with Kreay earlier this week, she said she wasn’t intending to dis the Maybach Music Group boss — even though she admits it came across that way. “I feel like with anything, you’re painting a picture. I’ve never, ever intentionally dissed anybody my whole career, and I don’t do that personally with friends either,” the Bay Area rapper said. “I’m not like a person to go against anyone or anything. So hey, no offense to you Rick Ross. There’s no Rick Ross offensive things going on in there, even though it sounds like it.” Kreayshawn explains why Diddy is her “dad.” Kreayshawn said she doesn’t know Ross and was just trying to make words rhyme. Hopefully things turn up for Kreay on Sunday, August 28, at the 2011 VMAs. She is up Best New Artist alongside other hip-hop rising stars, including Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa and Tyler, the Creator, as well as rock group Foster the People. The 28th annual MTV Video Music Awards will air live on Sunday, August 28, from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
