Boy Covers “Wrecking Ball” with Recorder for Some Reason: Listen Now!

It’s been a tough week for Miley Cyrus. First, she watched as Nicki Minaj knocked her from the VEVO record books, with “Anaconda” racking up more views in 24 hours than Miley’s video for “Wrecking Ball.” Next, she sat back and watched as the media uncovered a lot of dirt on her homeless friend, Jesse Helt , such pending warrants for his arrest. Now, some elementary school student named Sean Coyle has released his cover of “Wrecking Ball,” one that uses only a recorder and which may just be better than Miley’s original. We already knew that Kim Kardashian avoided Beyonce at the VMAs Sunday night. What we didn’t know was the extent to which Kim’s newfound hatred of Queen Bey was on full display at the award show. For example, pretty much everyone who watched the event agrees that Beyonce’s emotional acceptance of the Video Vanguard Award was the highlight of the night. The Iowa native, a fan favorite during Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette , came on Good Morning America today after being confirmed as The Bachelor . “I believe in the process,” Chris Soules told the morning show’s panel. “I believe in what I went through on the previous show and that’s why I’m doing it.” Chris Soules on Good Morning America Chris got the nod over Arie Luyendyk Jr. for The Bachelor, insiders say, because of his unusual background – not to mention fans’ strong connection to him. Saturday Night Live alum and Portlandia star Fred Armisen is officially dating Orange is the New Black actress Natasha Lyonne. The actors made their official debut as a couple at a series of parties before and after the 2014 Emmy Awards on Monday night. Armisen was previously married to Elisabeth Moss , best known for her role as Peggy Olsen on Mad Men. Hopefully they were seated in different sections at the awards, because the Moss-Armisen divorce was not a pretty one. The couple was married for just six months and split amidst accusations that Armisen cheated on Moss with Abby Elliott, his much younger SNL co-star. The infidelity was never confirmed, but Armisen and Elliott began dating just weeks after his divorce. But that’s all in the past! These days, Armisen is more in demand than ever, with Portlandia’s cult audience growing by the season, and his gig as Seth Meyer’s bandleader yielding some of the best banter in late night.
