Officially , Meghan Markle deleted her Instagram when her relationship with Prince Harry started to get serious. Smart move, as exchanging social media for a royal title is objectively a pretty sweet deal, especially as the internet seems to become more of a cesspool of narcissism and bigotry every day. But Meghan went from a relatively unknown actress to one of the most famous women on the planet overnight, so she must be curious as to what the trolls and sycophants of the world wide web have to say about her. Thus, it’s easy to believe the rumors of Meghan’s secret Instagram account . And it’s also easy to believe the hate directed at her online by anonymous dingbats quickly became too much for the Duchess to handle. “With so much drama surrounding her, Meghan really wants to know what everyone actually thinks of her,” an insider tells Radar Online of Meghan’s lurker account. In the years prior to her relationship with Harry, Meghan was actually quite active on the ‘Gram, and her account was closely linked to her Goop-esque lifestyle site, The Tig. So Meg is no stranger to what nasty places comments sections can be. The source reveals that for now at least, Meghan has parted ways with social media. The reason? It seems she was simply appalled by the horrendous things people were saying about her online. “It really got to her and, in the end, she had to shut down that account just before Christmas, too, to protect her mental health,” says the insider . “She felt very isolated and alone.” Now Meghan has been called a “fat lady” to her face while pregnant, and she’s been suffering the slings and arrows of the notorious British tabloid press for two years now. She’s no thin-skinned wimp, is what we’re saying. So the stuff Meghan read about herself that caused her to shut down her account must have been pretty awful. Apparently, some of it was so bad that it led Meghan to fear for her safety. “She doesn’t feel safe enough to go out on her own without protection,” says the source. “There are certain things she’s extremely paranoid about, such as being physically attacked.” Dammit, internet. We interrupt our near-daily update about Meghan Markle and her frosty relationship with Kate Middleton to bring you an update about Meghan Markle and her miraculous relationship with someone else… … her unborn child! On Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex made her way through a throng of supporters on her way to church. She was accompanied on this important occasion by her husband, Prince Harry, and also by her rumored rivals, Prince William and the aforementioned Middleton. (By now, you must have read all about the alleged feud between Middleton and Markle , right?) While in Sandringham for the holiday, Markle was greeted by many fans, most of whom expressed well wishes for Meghan over her pregnancy, which she confirmed in October. “She said, ‘We are excited. We’re nearly there,'” one of these citizens, Karen Anvil, told E! News. “I said, ‘Enjoy every moment, being a mother is a wonderful thing.'” Hmmm… nearly there , huh? We had heard that Markle’s due date was May 2 . This was notable because it also happens to be Princess Charlotte’s birthday, although it’s also notable that no one from Kensington Palace has verified this date. We may be reading too much into Markle’s above reply, but being nearly there seems to imply that Meghan is due long before May, doesn’t it? As for chatter that Markle is all pretentious and self-centered and stuck up and a general pill to be around? This one person disagrees with that assessment at least. “You know what? She was so genuine. She was doing her duty as a royal with the crowds, shaking hands, etc.,” Anvil said, adding: “But when I asked her about the baby, she changed totally. She was glowing and instinctively went for her stomach. It was lovely.” For once, however, few eyes were on Markle’s stomach. Instead, they were trained on her interactions with Middleton, considering the constant talk over how these two simply don’t get along . Anvil says she no signs of tension, though. She told E! that Meghan and Kate seemed to get along just fine during their very public outing. During her annual Christmas address, meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth made a rare mention of her personal life, giving the polarizing Duchess a shout-out in the process. “It’s been a busy year for my family, with two weddings and two babies and another child expected soon,” she told the world. As has been well documented many times on this website and around the celebrity gossip universe, Meghan Markle just loves to break Royal Protocol . This is someone who tries to dictate her own wardrobe on her wedding day… who has often shown off her bare shoulders in public… and who had the audacity to wear dark nail polish last week . But this story is not actually about the Duchess of Sussex defying her very famous loved ones and their traditions once again. Nope, it’s a story about how she isn’t allowing her husband partake in one of these long-running traditions. You see, Markle and Prince Harry will be spending Christmas with rumored rivals Prince William and Kate Middleton. (Kensington Palace pretty much ordered this awkward arrangement to take place in order to quell chatter that the quarter does not get along in any way, shape or form.) For years and years, Harry would go out on Boxing Day morning with his sibling and other relatives to go pheasant shooting — but here’s the thing: Markle hates hunting. She hates it with a passion. She’s a big animal lover. As a result, insiders tell The Daily Mail that Markle has put her gorgeous foot down and will not allow Harry to take part in an activity that he’s done with his relatives for two decades. “‘Harry’s always loved hunting and it has provided [him and William] with a great chance to bond as brothers,” this Daily Mail source alleges , adding: “But now it looks like Harry’s shooting days are over. It’s the latest point of contention between the Princess.” Meghan’s aversion to hunting initally caused issues last year, back when Harry reportedly took part in a wild boar hunt in Germany. This stirred up a bit of tension between the stars and was the reason why Harry then bowed out of a grouse hunt at Balmoral three months ago. It’s hard not to admire Markle’s stance, of course. This has long been a passion of hers and it really does silly to just go out and shoot dead poor, innocent birds, doesn’t it? As a counter argument, however, Markle’s reputation is in tatters at the moment. She is being blamed for treating staff members poorly and for feuding with Middleton and of just b eing a spoiled, entitled American all around . All this anti-hunting stance has done is once again create negative headlines about her on the Internet. Just look at what we wrote up above! Perhaps it would have been in Meghan’s better interest to just suck it up this one time and to let Harry get out there with William and spray some bullets into a bunch of birds. It would have been viewed as an olive branch of some kind, as a way for Markle to prove that she’s flexible and does not need to always have her way. We’ve already heard that Lisa Vanderpump is ghosting the entire cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . Now, Lisa Rinna is throwing shade at her castmate on social media. She’s poking fun at her her status as an absentee Housewife. “Listen,” Lisa Rinna said to her Twitter followers on Wednesday. “What we do, is not that hard.” Being on a reality series can be a lot of work, but if you’re part of an ensemble, it makes life easier. Those huge Real Housewives salaries don’t hurt, either. “We film for 4 months,” she explains. “We laugh, fight, we make up, whatever.” “We make a tv show,” she notes. It’s good that she mentions that. Some people still forget that reality television is rarely authentic. It’s entertainment. “We are so blessed and so lucky to have a Job,” Lisa continues. It’s good to see people who have been incredibly lucky in life acknowledge that. “For those who watch,” Lisa writes. “Thank you!” “I felt like that needed to be said,” she explains. “We aren’t curing cancer here. It’s a f–king tv show. Ya know?!” “And,” Lisa concludes. “I think we all make a darn good tv show.” Lisa Rinna then held an impromptu Q & A with her fans and followers. Everyone is being very vague about the source of the contentiousness, but they all seem to agree that it exists. Lisa Vanderpump has had a difficult year, notably with the death of her brother. But her castmates believe that this alone is not enough to explain or justify the way in which she has backed away from them. Whether it’s personal events or filming, a rift has formed among the Housewives. Though Lisa has shot down rumors that she has left the series to focus on Vanderpump Rules , fans are scratching their heads. Hopefully, it will eventually become clear why Lisa seems to be keeping her distance from everyone else. We should note that Lisa Rinna answered more questions when speaking to her fans. One of her followers did not like her characterization of ROHB as being a television show rather than some sort of documentary. “But that’s why your franchise sucks now,” lamented the fan on Twitter. “You look at it as making a TV show and not being real.” “It is a tv show,” Lisa replied. “We have cameras filming us Corey. For months now, we've been hearing reports of a feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton . Now, several media outlets are reporting that the beef has actually intensified in the months since Meghan became pregnant with her first child. In fact, some sources say the situation has gotten so bad that Meghan and Kate's mutual animosity is now tearing at the fabric of the relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry. It sounds almost too absurd to imagine — why would a group of people tasked with representing a nation give in to such petty jealousies and destructive rivalries? But amazingly, there's real reason to believe that the distance between the two couples is growing wider by the day. Take a look: 1. Former Friends Not all that long ago, Kate and Meghan seemed to get along famously. Now, insiders say their relationship has been damaged beyond repair. 2. What Happened? So what happened to these former friends that led them to turn their backs on each other? 3. Ariana Grande may have a broken heart at the moment. But the singer just made news for mentioning a very different body part. Last week, a few days after she ended her engagement to Pete Davidson, Grande told her social media followers that she was taking a break. The pop artist understandably need some time away from the public as she dealt with the dissolution of what had been a very fun and loving relationship. “Time to say bye bye again to the internet for just a lil bit,” the singer wrote on Instagram, adding at the time: “It’s hard not to bump news n stuff that I’m not trying to see rn. It’s very sad and we’re all tryin very hard to keep going. love u. and thank u for bein here always.” Fair enough, right? However, Grande appears to have taken all the time she needed to recover from this recent break-up. Following a one-week hiatus, Grande Tweeted a black heart emoji on Monday morning told her followers “i missed you sm.” She also told her haters to suck it… and then deleted the message minutes later. This is the Internet, however, and nothing ever gets deleted. In response to some losers picking on her forehead, Ariana wrote the following a little while ago: “i see some of y’all making fun of my forehead ! sorry i have a big forehead ! at least i’m cute and don’t make fun of other ppl’s foreheads ! suck my dick. ttyl” Well… okay then! You tell ’em, Ariana! For his part, Davidson broke his silence on the not-too-shocking split this past Saturday during a stand-up show in West Hollywood, where he joked that his decision to propose to the pop star was “stupid.” (We could have saved you some time and pain by telling you that this summer, dude.) “So, obviously you know I, we broke up or whatever but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos. And it was like in a magazine like, ‘Was Pete Davidson stupid?’ And 93 percent of it said yes,” Davidson told his audience. He added on stage: “So my boy, he was like, ‘Don’t listen to that sh-t man. They’re literally f-cking haters.’ And I’m like, yeah, f-ck that. I’m not stupid. “And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, ‘Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.'” Oh well. We’ve all been blinded at times by love or lust, right? Other sources, meanwhile, claims that Davidson is devastated by the break-up . “He misses Ariana every minute of every day, from the second he wakes up until the moment he goes to sleep,” someone supposedly told Hollywood Life, adding of Davidson: “Right now, Pete feels like he will never get over Ariana, that his heart will never mend, and that he will never fall in love again.” That makes us sad to hear. Davidson and Grande only dated for a few weeks before news broke of their engagement. They managed to stay together for a few months prior to their recent split , which took basically no one by surprise. Still, we’re sure the emotions are raw and we wish both Pete and Ariana the best.
Male heirs are kind of a big deal in the history of the British crown. In fact, you could say past members of the royal family have been known to really lose their heads over the matter. But those days are long gone, and in the 21st century, beheadings are reserved for serious offenses such as wearing an ascot that clashes with the tablecloth at high tea. We kid the Royals because we love them. And we especially love Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who are infinitely more fun and interesting than their contemporaries within the Windsor clan. And, as is always the case with palace pregnancies, British tabloids and amateur royal watchers alike are desperate for any scrap of new information that might come their way. Sources say Meghan just entered her second trimester, and the Royals tend to be quite secretive about matters such as this. So it might be quite some time before we learn anything new regarding the baby’s name or gender. But at least now we know whether Harry is hoping for a son or a daughter — and his answer says a lot about how things have changed in the royal family of the 21st century. Harry and Meghan are on their first royal tour at the moment, and they spent the weekend in Sydney, Australia. According to US Weekly , the couple was spotted strolling near the city’s famous opera house on Sunday. Witnesses say a passerby shouted to Harry, “I hope it’s a girl.” Harry reportedly paused for a moment before turning and replying, “So do I.” So there you have it. The Duke of Sussex is hoping for a daughter. No word yet on whether Meghan is hoping for a girl or a boy, but insiders say she’s been so ecstatic lately it’s impossible to imagine her being disappointed with either outcome. As for the royal moniker, sources say Harry and Meghan “have a long list of names” to choose from. In the end, though, they’ll probably go with something boring like Anne or Thomas. Yes, we’re sharing this because the latter is bi-racial and we’re claiming the Nubian Queen who has infiltrated the Royal Family (via love, of course). Early this morning (Oct. 15), Kensington revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, respectively, have a bun in the oven that’s due in Spring 19. Per Buzzfeed, the child will be 7th in line to the throne after Harry’s dad, Prince Charles, his brother, Prince William, William’s three children, and then Harry himself.
