Chris Bosh’s Baby Mama Says He Blocked Her $1 Million ‘Basketball Wives’ Check, Forcing Her To Fold Shirts At The Gap

Allison Williams Sues For Lost Potential Earnings Chris Bosh is still battling his baby mama in court . THIS time, it’s because she’s claiming that he cost her millions by blocking her chance at reality TV stardom. According to The Jasmine Brand , Bosh’s baby mama (mother of his oldest daughter Trinity) Allison Mathis claims that Bosh went behind her back to intervene on her filming during the first season of Basketball Wives back in 2011. She says that even though she had signed an NDA with Bosh and already had an agreement with Vh1 that she would not directly refer to her relationship with Bosh, reveal his name at any point, or show her daugter on the show — much like her friend and ex-BBW cast member Royce Reed, who has a child with Dwight Howard. However, Chris reached out to production behind her back warning them that he would file suit if he was uncomfortable with anything aired. Allison claims that production never had any issues with the scenes she shot, but after the alleged calls from Chris she was cut from the show and her scenes never aired. She claims he wrongfully deprived her of the opportunity to provide herself an income and believes she lost out not only on the $191,000 she signed for in her Vh1 contract, but up to $1 million in lost opportunities earnings over the years — additional seasons of the show, appearance fees, book deals, etc. As a result of her firing, Allison claims she has struggled financially and even had to file bankruptcy to maintain the home she shares with her daughter. She says she’s even had to (gasp) work in clerical and retail positions to make ends meet. The tragedy of it all. The thing is…we’re SURE she gets a fat child support check from the Boshes every month. The average NBA baby mama manages to keep the bills paid for the child’s housing and schooling and whatever other necessities in that way…so we’re not sure how earning an honest day’s work for the supplemental income she needs is a huge issue. Retail isn’t going to earn her a million or get her industry invites to rub elbows with other ballplayers and reality stars/celebs on the regular…but people work 9-5s every day. Seems like she thought that her choice in baby daddy entitled her to a level of d-list celeb-hood, and Bosh put a HARD stop to that one. What do you think? WENN/Instagram

Hannah Davis for Direct TV of the Day

Hannah Davis did the cover of Sports Illustrated and as a prize, got to book the ad campaign for DirectTV, a company we can assume is a huge Sports Illustrated sponsor, because people use TVs to watch sports, and DirectTV brings the sports to those TVs… It’s an insular, incestuous world out there..in the advertising world…and I guess that’s ok…it worked for Kate Upton…even if she ate the profits… She’s pretty amazing.. Lawsuits: Houston Hip-Hop Mogul J.Prince Jr. Is Suing Drake’s Manager Cortez Bryant And Cash Money Records For A Cut Of That Young Moola!

For a label named Cash Money, they sure don’t like to pay muhfuggas… J.Prince Jr. Is Suing Cortez Bryant And Cash Money Records For Money Owed As Drake’s Management Houston’s J Prince Jr., son of Rap-A-Lot founder and CEO J Prince, is suing Drake’s management team for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty, in what totals 10 claims against Cortez Bryant and his business associates. According to documents filed today in New York State Supreme Court, J Prince, Jr. stated that he deserves a cut of the profits earned for introducing Drake to Lil’ Wayne and Cortez Bryant’s management team, Aspire. In the lawsuit, J Prince Jr. alleges that Bryant and Drake verbally agreed to pay J Prince Jr. a portion of the profits earned. Prince claims that Bryant verbally agreed to, “use their experience, influence, and relationships to persuade Drake into entering an exclusive recording agreement and an exclusive management agreement with the two of them and Bryant, and was to use his influence to compel Lil’ Wayne to sign and promote Drake to and through Lil’ Wayne’s record company YME, once Drake signed the agreements.” In addition, given J Prince, Sr’s relationship with Cash Money Records, the distributor of Young Money would “consult with them and take the lead on their business dealings with YME and CMR.” The lawsuit also claims that on December 10, 2008, Bryant signed Drake to an exclusive management agreement with his company and defendant Roberson’s companies, Laurent and Three Kings, and that Bryant signed Drake to an exclusive recording agreement with his company, Aspire. J Prince Jr. also claims that in or around April 2009, Bryant made J Prince aware of the signing and pledged to honor the original agreement. Hopefully J.Prince gets his bread. Seems that all the other folks that sued them for money owed won their cases…eventually. Images via SplashNews/Twitter Source

After Rare Lapse Into Lucidity, Ed Schultz Reverts to Inane Conspiracy Mongering on Economy

Why does Ed Schultz think Wall Street and “big business” are sitting on $1 trillion in assets? Depends on what week you ask him. Here’s what Schultz said about that during a contentious discussion on July 26 with publisher Mort Zuckerman on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show,” as rebroadcast the following day on Schultz’s radio show ( click here for audio) — ZUCKERMAN: And if you don’t think that the business community doesn’t feel that they’re being, you know, attacked, I’m just telling you, that isn’t the case. They do believe it. SCHULTZ: OK, they may believe that, Mr. Zuckerman … ZUCKERMAN: ‘Cause they are! SCHULTZ: …but credit is tight, money is tight, small businesses getting money is a huge issue, and Wall Street, in my opinion, the bankers, tight with a dollar because they want to see this president fail. ZUCKERMAN: That’s absolute nonsense. SCHULTZ: Well, that’s not nonsense … ZUCKERMAN: That may be your view … Earlier in the interview, Zuckerman said this about hesitancy among business owners to hire more workers after Schultz cited “big time” higher profits for J.P. Morgan and insurance companies ( audio here ) — SCHULTZ: I’m curious, with all of the Wall Street numbers that are out there, J.P. Morgan, their profits up big time, insurance companies are reporting, you know, profits big time again this year. How is that bad for business? How do you see this? ZUCKERMAN: Nobody says that that’s bad for business. Of course it’s not bad for business. And what’s happened to all big companies of America is that they’ve been in a position to significantly reduce their costs. And that, amongst other things, means cutting a lot of jobs in order to do that because they really were very concerned about what was going to happen and what was happening in the economy. A week later, when he was interviewed during his radio show by MSNBC daytime anchor Tamron Hall on Aug. 3, Schultz sang a different tune about “big business” holding tight on $1 trillion in assets — a tune eerily similar to that coming from Zuckerman on July 26 ( audio ) — HALL: I know the president says jobs saved and he says things would have been worse, but still, you’ve got millions of folks out of work who thought that perhaps they would get a boost from the stimulus that they may not see. SCHULTZ: Well, you’ve got a trillion dollars on the sideline right now from big business because they’re afraid of what might happen in the economy , they won’t invest in workers … Alas, the lucidity couldn’t last. Earlier this week, Schultz was interviewed again by Hall during his radio show on Aug. 9 ( audio ) — SCHULTZ:  No one can make the case better than President Obama when he talks about what he has been up against when it comes to Boehner and McConnell and this crowd that has just fought him at every way you possibly can. HALL: But the Republicans say all you need to do is ask, where are the jobs, and that shuts down Democrats on the spot. What do you say to that? SCHULTZ: Well, I don’t agree with that. We’re not peeling off 750,000 jobs a month any more, interest rates are great, the table is set for this economy to come roaring back. We’ve got Wall Street that’s sitting on $1.8 trillion worth of assets because they want to see this president fail. …. which Mort Zuckerman ridiculed as “absolute nonsense” — followed a week later by Schultz parroting Zuckerman.
