With that in mind, BOSSIP spoke with celebrity hairstylist and hair care expert Angelo David, of the Angelo David Salon in Manhattan, about how you can protect yourself from hair loss without sacrificing the fun, beauty and variety of using hair extensions.” BOSSIP: What are some of the newest methods of application to get extensions? AD: “Tape-in hair extensions have taken over the hair extension market because they are safe and easy to apply. Using a cylinder attachment method is also popular. Both of these methods rely on re-useable hair extensions. Matching the client’s hair color, thickness, texture, density and length is very important when creating a seamless look with these methods.” BOSSIP: What are some of the dangers of improperly applied extensions? Choose the right hair extensions for your hair, see an expert and do not take any shortcuts. Do your research. 2. Use the correct hair brush.
