Lil Twist Charged With 6 Felonies The L.A. County District Attorney has charged Lil Twist on 6 counts: making criminal threats, burglary, grand theft, battery and 2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon. If convicted on all counts, he could face over 20 years in the clink. If you’ll remember, Twist was allegedly kicked out of the Massey brothers’ house back in November, and returned a short while later — breaking into the home , beating up Chris Massey with a pair of brass knuckles, pulling his pants down in front of guests to humiliate him, and stealing his wallet and cell phone on the way back out. Needless to say, there’s an arrest warrant out for Twist. No wonder Justin Bieber dropped this guy to improve his own image. SMH

Taraji P. Henson Refuses To Send Her Son To USC Though many college-bound celeb kids end up walking the halls of USC, Taraji P. Henson says her baby will NOT be one of them. Instead, she says that her son, 20-year-old Marcel, will instead be attending top HBCU Howard University. While Taraji herself is a Howard alum, she says the decision has a lot to do with unfair treatment her son has already faced both on and off-campus near USC. And she feels her son doesn’t need the unfounded suspicion that comes along with being a young Black man in Southern California. As she told Uptown Magazine : “My child has been racially profiled. He was in Glendale, California, and did exactly everything the cops told him to do, including letting them illegally search his car. It was bogus because they didn’t give him the ticket for what he was pulled over for. Then he’s at University of Southern California, the school that I was going to transfer him to, when police stopped him for having his hands in his pockets.” She decided then and there that it’d be best to send her son to her own Alma Mater. “So guess where he’s going? Howard University. I’m not paying $50K so I can’t sleep at night wondering is this the night my son is getting racially profiled on campus.” Sounds like she’s making the right decision to us. Teacher Arrested for Lesbian Relationship With Student According to Mail Online A 53-year-old teacher and mother who had a sexual relationship with a female student lasting four years has been jailed for 16 years. Linda Leann Wallace, of Texas, was given the lengthy sentence despite her daughter telling the court:’My mom is not a predator.’ Wallace, 53, began the inappropriate relationship when the student was 13 years old. The 16 year sentence is one of the harshest ever handed down by a court for a teacher involved in an inappropriate relationship. A court in Beaumont, Texas, was told the affair continued for four years and the pair would meet at her home, on campus and during school trips. The affair ended when the teen graduated from the Legacy Christian Academy where Wallace worked as a music teacher. Wallace had pleaded guilty to engaging with an underage student in July. She was arrested in 2012 after police were tipped off about the affair. Her daughter had spoken on her mom’s behalf telling the court her mom was not a sexual predator. Wallace also spoke in her own defense saying she was sorry for her actions. ‘I’ve had remorse for many years. I’m terribly sorry. I cry myself to sleep at night for her innocence,’ said Wallace. Wallace’s attorney, Paul Fukuda,said: ‘It’s a tragedy for both families. It’s been far too long since Taylor Armstrong used her estranged husband’s suicide for profit or attention, hasn’t it? The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is back at it, though, blogging this week about her state of mind – and the state of her liver – after Russell Armstrong took his own life in August 2011. “I went through about nine months where I was drinking to cope with the pain and the memories,” Armstrong wrote yesterday. “I was drinking to forget, to stop the recurring images in my head, to relax enough to try to sleep at night.” On Sunday’s episode of this Bravo hit, Kim and Kyle Richards approached Taylor about her drinking problem, causing Armstrong to reflect and now open up. “I was self-medicating and the sad truth is that I didn’t know another way to get through the days — and nights,” she wrote in her entry. “I was confronted with the truth that the life I thought I had was only an illusion. What I finally realized was that ‘pain waits for you.’ I would medicate for a day and the next morning all the emotions would come flooding back — not to mention the massive headache.” But that’s pretty much now all behind her, the reality star concludes: “Thankfully, I had an amazing support system and they helped me realize that it was time for me to feel my emotions and let the healing begin.” She may be healing off camera going forward, however. If the “sleep program” isn’t working for your family, drop it. Develop a nighttime parenting style that works for you. The way an infant goes to sleep at night is the way she expects to go back to sleep when she awakens.
