J.D. Madison: Alleged Victim of Southern Charm Star is Facing Threats

In August, Southern Charm star J.D. Madison was accused of sexual assault . The details of the allegations are … heinous. Another man was implicated, and it is that man’s actions that are bringing this case back into the spotlight. He is now accused of having shown up at the victim’s house and threatening her. J.D. Madison is accused of having drugged a woman and of having raped her once she lost consciousness. According to FITSNews , another man implicated in the assault, chiropractor Jay Schwartz, showed up at the unnamed victim’s home. “I’ve been trying to contact you,” he reported told her while standing at her doorway. He then apparently said: “I want to talk to you about what happened that night.” Instead of leaving when he realized that he was unwelcome, he apparently told her that he “has the messages from that night.” To make matters worse, when the woman tried to close her door, Jay allegedly placed his hand between the door and frame, propping the door open. It is at this point that he allegedly repeated what he had told her. Once he had finally departed, the woman contacted police — which is absolutely the right thing to do under those circumstances. Police then went to Schwartz’s home and asked him about the encounter. He reportedly agreed with the woman’s “assessment of their conversation.” Police then returned to her home where they gave her a copy of the No Trespassing order that had been issued to Schwartz. Truth be told, an instruction to not trespass on someone’s property is a very mild response, considering the circumstances. A man implicated in the drugging and sexual assault of a woman then showing up at that woman’s home and preventing her from closing her door? That sounds like a terrifying ordeal. It also sounds like a court could interpret it as witness tampering or witness intimidation. Southern Charm fans cannot help of being reminded that J.D. Madison’s good buddy Thomas Ravenel was recently arrested . Ravenel was arrested for assault and battery, and those who have connected the dots believe that the charges stem from the allegations by Nanny Dawn. She is one of two women who have accused Ravenel of sexual assault. Others have accused him of alarming behavior, saying that he seems like a perfect gentleman … right up until he becomes someone else altogether. Thomas Ravenel will not be returning to Southern Charm for Season 6. J.D. Madison was never a star of Southern Charm in the way that Ravenel was. Instead, Madison had a recurring role — but that role was ongoing for the first five seasons of the series. Some are asking if reality television in particular has a problem — if there is something about the genre that makes bad men gravitate towards it. We understand the arguments, but we are not so sure. Maybe, as more men are coming to realize, there are just a lot of terrible, predatory men out there. Not most men, but too many. Perhaps some of them being reality stars is just a statistical inevitability. View Slideshow: Southern Charm: How Much Are the Stars Paid?

J.D. Madison, Southern Charm Star, Also Accused of Sexual Assault

J.D. Madison and Thomas Ravenel now have something in common. But it’s not friendship and it’s not a role on Bravo reality series Southern Charm. It’s the fact that each has been accused of sexual assault. We’ve documented in the past how Ravenel has been accused of raping both a nanny and a woman with whom he went on a date a couple years ago. The lead Southern Charm cast member has since announced that he will not be returning for Season 6. Now, People Magazine has confirmed that an incident report was filed in August 25 with the Mount Pleasant Police Department against South Carolina businessman Madison, who is pretty tight with Ravenel. He’s appeared multiple times on Southern Charm as a result. According to legal documents, allegations of rape, sexual assault and involuntary drugging have been leveled against Madison by a South Carolina female, whose name was redacted by authorities. The details are pretty disgusting. The alleged victim told police that the incident in question took place on August 21, 2017. She says that she was with Madison, his male friend and another female friend at her house for a drink prior to heading out to a local bar. While there, she alleges that Madison intentionally broke a glass – and, as she cleaned it up, Madison “slipped a drug” in her already-poured beverage on the counter. The victim says that, after finishing the drink, she fell in and out of consciousness. Later, in the early hours of August 22, the woman says she awoke in the guest bedroom of her home where Madison was “forcibly raping and sodomizing her.” The attack supposedly stopped after Madison received a phone call from his wife. Then there’s this addendum to the story: FITSNews has identified the male with Madison and the alleged victim that night as Jay Schwartz, a local chiropractor.  He was arrested on drug charges this same evening. Mount Pleasant are reportedly investigating these charges, while Bravo is yet to issue a comment. The allegations against Madison come three months after allegations of sexual assault were brought against Ravenel by “Nanny Dawn,” who was featured Southern Charm caring for Ravenel’s two children with ex Kathryn Dennis. Another unnamed woman also brought a similar charge against the Wealthy Charleston resident. Ravenel is currently under investigation by South Carolina police. He dropped out of the show this month admist these scandals , defiant in his statement and adamant that only Bravo producers had done anything wrong. “I’m not doing the show anymore,” Ravenel Tweeted, adding: “In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me. I decided I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back.” This guy sucks so much. And even if J.D. Madison never faces any charges for what he’s accused of above, we feel confident in saying he sucks a lot, too.

Thomas Ravenel Basically Accuses Ashley Jacobs of Cheating

Thomas Ravenel does not want your pity. But, if you’re a woman, he very much does want you to give him a call. The veteran Southern Charm star took to Twitter over the weekend in order to make one accusation and one offer. First, the accusation: Ravenel – who quit the aforementioned Bravo series this month amidst allegations of rape by two women – wrote on his personal account that he’s totally fine with Ashley Jacobs ending their relationship a couple weeks ago. For what reason? Because Ravenel hints strongly that Jacobs cheated on him. Today, my personal life just took a huge upward turn,” Thomas Tweeted on Saturday, explaining why as follows: “I finally have more than enough information to move forward without any doubt or hesitation and I’ll never look back.” How ominous sounding, right? The assumption around the Internet is that Ravenel is confirming that he has gathered the necessary intel to prve that Jacobs was sleeping with other men behind his back. That’s why he can finally “move forward” confidently and that’s why he replied to a follower asking if he were single by writing: “And ready to mingle!” Ravenel also sent a second Tweet that cited the Chicago song “If She Would Have Been Faithful,” suggesting that Jacobs had been untrue, writing: “After 30 years I finally understand the lyrics from that wonderful Chicago tune: “If she would have been faithful, if she could have been true, then I would have been cheated, I would have never known real love.” Jacobs – who dated Ravenel for two years and whose feud with his two-time baby mama, Kathryn Dennis, drove much of Season 5 – broke the break-up news to her own social media followers back in mid-August. Fighting off tears in a video, Jacobs said ” I love Thomas and I’ll always love Thomas . I’ll always care about him.” That’s sweet and all, but as we noted above: RAVENEL HAS BEEN ACCUSED OF RAPE ! A former housekeeper and a woman with whom Ravenel went on a date in 2015 have both said he assaulted them sexually. This does not mean he’s guilty, we know. But it’s worth emphasizing. The very rich Charleston resident has denied these accusation, while resigning from Souther Charm and blaming his portrayal on that series for his sullied reputation. “I’m not doing the show anymore,” Ravenel said upon announcing his departure, adding: “In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me. I decided I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back.” As for Jacobs? “I hope the best for her … I do feel a bit sad now,” he Tweeted over the weekend. “But now I know that just around the corner, down the street, around the block, something magical is going to happen … perhaps real love.” Perhaps. Or maybe jail time for those aforementioned rape allegations. Ravenel said he is now seeking “a woman with whom the trust, faith, respect and love is immovable,” adding that he felt he never got that from Jacobs. Will Ashley return to Southern Charm for Season 6? It remains unclear. But she attempted to make amends with Dennis via a lengthy Instagram apology last week . Might she next write one to Thomas? Matt Roloff Speaks on Audrey: Is She Pregnant?!?

Matt Roloff would like your attention, please. The Little People, Big World patriarch is aware of what many fans out there are thinking at the moment. He apparently reads the Internet and is plugged in to the gossip circles and he knows what you’re wondering right now: Is Audrey Roloff pregnant with her second child ? Chatter surrounding the status of Audrey’s womb is running rampant this week… and it’s sort of all her father’s fault. A few days ago, you see, Matt Roloff shared a very sweet photo on Instagram, giving followers a sort of candid look at Audrey, husband Jeremy and daughter Ember. As you can see below, Audrey is laughing and Jeremy is holding his child aloft, all while the immediate family hangs out at Roloff Farms. Matt then wrote as an affiliated caption: Today was a crazy day. …. I could explain. But better to just leave it at that. Im going to sleep a happy grandpa. Interesting and sort of intriguing, right? Why was Matt happy? Why did he deem the day to be crazy? According to Radar Online, it was because Audrey and Jeremy had gathered their loved ones together that afternoon and announced they were expecting a sibling for Ember. Hooray, right?!? Not so fast, Matt now appears to be clarifying. “Oh my goodness… my last post was much more innocent then the stir it caused,” the veteran reality star wrote on Thursday, adding: “let me explain… had a long day with equipment breakdowns, setting up pumpkin season stuff etc etc.. so after a crazy day I’m sitting on my back deck with a few friends and Jeremy, Audrey and Ember pull up to say hi and watch the sunset with us.. “The joys of being a grandpa…. moments like that.” Oh. Well. Darn.  Matt ended his latest message with the following joke in a caption of a truly harmless image: “Now… before everyone goes crazy again… this photo is simply me getting all the landscaping power tools cleaned up and ready to go.” Har, har, Matt. All this said, it still wouldn’t shock us if Audrey and Jeremy do announce another baby is on the way in the near future. Their schedule is pretty clear going forward if they want to have unprotected sex around the clock and give it a shot, as the couple will NOT be returning to Little People, Big World . Scroll down to see what Jeremy said about this decision last month… After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come. A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride. We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun. We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on! We have a lot of exciting stuff in the works and are eager to continue the work that the Lord has called us to. Whether or not this means another kid some time, we’ll need to wait to find out! View Slideshow: Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: 19 Moments We’ll Never, Ever Forget

Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel: Reunited Now That Ashley Jacobs is Outta Here!

Last week, we learned that Ashley Jacobs finally left that creep Thomas Ravenel , though the two have not officially broken up. Yet. But fellow Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis has been spending time with her ex and baby daddy. They took their two young children on Thomas’ boat, and with Ashley away, Kathryn and Thomas’ “family time” was drama-free. Both Kathryn and Thomas took to Instagram to share little glimpses of their shared time with their children. Kathryn wrote “Good Vibes Only,” perhaps a subtle plea for her followers to not bash her for spending time around accused rapist Thomas Ravenel . She and Thomas have both made efforts to be there for their young children, Kensie and Saint. Seeing their parents interact with each other in a healthy way is good for their childhood development, even though Kathryn and Thomas are exes. They took their children on Thomas’ boat. A source tells RadarOnline that Kathryn and Thomas had a pleasant time with their two young children. “Thomas and Kathryn had a great time together with the kids,” the insider reveals. Though Kathryn and Thomas can be dramatic people — they’re exes as well as reality stars — none of that flared up during this family outing. “It was,” the source says. “Completely drama free.” And that peace owes itself to one person in particular. “With Ashley out of town,” the insider explains. “There were no conflicts at all.” Thomas Ravenel has been dating Ashley Jacobs for a while. The two met in Santa Barbara, went on maybe five dates, and Ashley packed up her whole life to move across the country to live in Charleston with him. That was … a little sudden. What’s more is that Ashley went on to unleash hellish tirades on Thomas’ Southern Charm cast members. In particular, Ashley clashed with Kathryn to a shocking degree. Also, she flirted with Whitney. (Who does that? Well, as Patricia Altschul says, a gold-digging famewhore would! ) The cast very clearly and vocally cannot tolerate Ashley, but at the reunion special, they expressed their deep concerns for her well-being. Thomas Ravenel was not at the reunion , because multiple women have accused him of sexual assault. Bravo and the Charleston police are investigating. But Ashley was there for part two of the special, and the cast went from irate to concerned. They said that Thomas speaks poorly of her to them, and that she shouldn’t stay with someone who is going to treat her that way. Andy Cohen brought up a sobering accusations — that someone had seen Thomas throw food in Ashley’s direction. Ashley had replied by saying that it was all he fault for being a “brat.” Ashley’s brattiness was not the point — no one gets to throw things at you. And as multiple castmembers pointed out, Ashley blaming herself for Thomas’ alleged outburst is a huge red flag. (Keep in mind that Thomas has not only been accused of sexual assault, but of alarming outbursts of anger and aggression — which has been said by former dates and by his own friends and castmates) The outpouring of concern was so great that Ashley “joked” by asking Andy if this was an intervention. If the shoe fits, maybe you should wear it, Ashley. View Slideshow: Southern Charm: How Much Are the Stars Paid? Some may be angry with Kathryn for spending time with Thomas, but they should remember a few things. One, she is not dating Thomas. They are forever linked by their two young children, and she is only spending time with him around them. Two, Kathryn has made it very clear why she’s doing this. She’s captioned family pics with things like: “What matters most? My daughter’s happiness.” She doesn’t have sole custody of her children, so coparenting is not optional. Whatever she believes about Thomas, she has to make the best of a bad situation. She’s a mother, and her kids come first.

Catelynn Baltierra Changes Last Name, Sparks Divorce Chatter

GULP. Might there be trouble in romantic paradise for Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra? Social media users now have reason to believe that the couple, who has battled through cheating rumors in the past , may be headed for a split as a result of Catelynn doing something drastic online: She changed her last name. The Teen Mom's three million Instagram followers were recently surprised to see what Catelynn is now using “Lowell” on her official page, switching from “Baltierra” to her maiden name because… … well. We don't know why. But it's worth taking a look through the tandem's recent history, online and off, to see if this means they're headed for divorce court: 1. No Happy Wishes Here Right around the time Catelynn made this switch, we learned that Tyler did NOT wish his wife a happy Mother’s Day. Heck, the two didn’t even spend the holiday together. 2. Where Was Tyler? The Teen Mom’s dad told Radar Online that his son-in-law was “in Texas visiting his [father]” for Mother’s Day. That can’t be a good sign. 3. And Where Was Catelynn? Per her dad again: “In Florida with [daughter] Nova, visiting her older sister.” This is nice and all, but not ideal to spend Mother’s Day apart from your husband. 4. Might Personal Troubles Be Affecting the Relationship? Tyler has admitted that he suffers from Bipolar Disorder, a serious condition that often has a negative effect on one’s relationships. “I’ve been doing non-stop research on the diagnosis, the different remedies to combat symptoms, & how to better understand it,” he wrote on Instagram toward the end of April 2018. “I did refuse medication, but only because I wanted to try all of the natural remedies first. It’s a journey.” 5. A Search for Happiness “Laying in bed next to my peacefully sleeping wife. I can hear my daughter snoozing away through the monitoring her room. My dog is cuddled up on the floor next to to me… and yet Feel so empty and so alone,” wrote Tyler a few weeks ago, giving followers a glimpse into his sad mental state. 6. Concern All Around Tyler Baltierra: Is He Suicidal? This was the title of an article we wrote on May 10 (click words above the photo to read), as it shed light on just how worried Teen Mom fans are about Tyler. His mental health comes first, of course, but it’s easy to see how his diagnosis could damage his marriage. View Slideshow

Thomas Ravenel Accused of Sexually Assaulting Nanny While His Baby Slept Nearby

Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel has been accused of sexual assault by two different women. Initially, only one woman was identified. Now, the other has come forward to reveal herself. And viewers of Southern Charm will recognize her. A woman whom viewers know as “Nanny Dawn” has identified herself to People as the woman who reported Ravenel to police on May 7. Dawn, who asked People to refrain from using her last name under the circumstances, appeared on Southern Charm as the nanny for Ravenel’s two young children. She reveals that, though he is now under investigation by police, she is not overly optimistic about him actually acing justice. “Although I believe he should be in jail for his crimes, the reality according to statistics is that he will go unpunished.” She’s right about the statistics, though many have pointed out that after Cosby’s guilty verdict , which was once thought almost impossible despite 60 accusers, the #MeToo movement has shifted the culture. Perhaps the quest for justice in sexual assault cases is no longer as hopeless as it once was. But either way, Dawn is coming forward for a reason. “I feel the only justice I will receive is to share my story in the efforts to educate the public and support assault survivors.” Dawn was also willing to share details of her allegations. She says that in January of 2015, she reported for work as Ravenel was heading out to dinner. “Thomas returned home from an evening with friends.” She says that she was still working at the time, though his young children were asleep. “I had just finished making baby food and was drying baby bottles.” She says that he then turned off the light. When she told him that she needed the lights on to see, she alleges that he entered the room and attempted to kiss her. She says that she did her best to discourage him. “I told him ‘this isn’t appropriate. I work for you.’ He then hugged me as an alternative.” She felt immobilized. “I had baby bottles in my hands, so I couldn’t hug him. It felt like he was putting his weight on me.” There are some jobs where hugging a coworker is appropriate, but this situation sounds very uncomfortable. So much so that she decided to leave. “I went upstairs to get my jacket which had the key to my vehicle in the pocket.” Unfortunately, she says that she was unable to escape. “I was corralled into the master bedroom and he shut the door behind me. I turned around and he had his pants dropped, not wearing underwear.” That is not good at all. “He was blocking the door. I was mortified, embarrassed, and scared.” On top of everything else, she says that she was instinctively unwilling to make noise because Ravenel’s daughter was sleeping nearby. “I was unsure what to do because Kensie was sleeping very close by.” She alleges that he then attacked. “He proceeded to rip my clothes off, and I struggled to redress.” She remembers her fears at the time. “I remember how worried I was that I may have to run outside in the January cold without clothes on and in an upscale neighborhood. I lived almost an hour away so I would have to drive home naked.” Horrific. She does not publicly share further details of the assault itself, and we absolutely do not blame her. View Slideshow: Hollywood Sex Scandal: Who’s Been Caught? Accused? Fired? Police in South Carolina have confirmed that Ravenel is under investigation. They are apparently looking at him for “first-degree forcible rape.” Dawn says that, weeks later, Ravenel apologized and “promised it would never happen again.” She says that eventually she told someone what had happened, which resulted in Ravenel harassing her through alleged “butt-dials.” Ultimately, he replaced her with Nanny Deidre.

Thomas Ravenel, Southern Charm Star, Accused of Sexual Assault

Thomas Ravenel, the lead cast member on Bravo’s Southern Charm, is under investigation for sexual assault. According to People Magazine, which broke this disturbing story, real estate Ashley Perkins alleges that the reality star took advantage of her mother back when she went on a date with Ravenel in 2015. Parker says her mother and Ravenel met on the dating app Tinder in October of the aforementioned year and then went out on Christmas Day, about two months later. “We lived in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He was going to pick her up and they were going to go out for drinks. She agreed to that.” Parker tells People , adding that she did not witness the alleged incident. She continues as follows: “I helped her get ready – she wore a diamond tennis bracelet on her wrist. Her wrist was fine when she left the house. “He left her voicemail saying he got lost on the way to pick her up. I thought he sounded a little inebriated.” Parker, pictured below with her mother, says Ravenel “changed plans” from the original date agreement as soon as her mom got into his car. He suggested they go see a home he had just had renovated and she agreed. (We should note at this point that Southern Charm airs on Bravo and follows a bunch of rich and spoiled people around. It premiered in March of 2014.) Once inside the home, Ravenel reportedly poured his date a small glass of wine. Upon entering the nanny’s room in the residence, Ravenel “he turned on” my mom, Parker says, detailing her allegations this way: “He pushes my mom onto the nanny’s bed, grabs her wrist with one hand, then he starts trying to pull her pants off. And she’s like ‘No, no, no, stop.’ “He stuck his fingers inside of her vagina as well as her anus. “She told me that he held her hands back with one arm and then pulled his penis out and shoved it in her face.” After her mother screamed “YOU’RE A RAPIST,” Ravenel leaped out, “out of his trance,” Parker says, and left the room. After the alleged attack, Ashley claims Ravenel told Debbie “to get yourself an Uber.” However, Debbie convinced Ravenel to drive her home because she had never taken an Uber before, and he proceeded to berate her on the way there. Parker explains that her mom was acting very “withdrawn” until finally confessing to her daughter what had transpired. According to Ashley, Debbie contacted a friend who was an attorney and described the alleged situation. He advised her to get legal help, she says. Parker says they hired Gloria Allred (who has declined comment) and agreed with Ravenal in “mediation” for a settlement of $200,000. Parker and her mom now live in Florida. She says she has come forward to serve as an inspiration for other victims of sexual assault. “This is bigger than my mom. This is bigger than me. I would like to let… other women know that Thomas is not invincible,” Ashley concludes to People. “Or even just women who are against powerful men and think they can’t do anything. I want them to know, you can. I would like to see him off of Bravo. “I would like for my mom not to have to worry about flipping on the television and seeing his smug mug, flaunting his lifestyle around. It’s bigger than us now. “I’d like to see some good come out of the ugly.” In response to these charges, a lawyer for Ravenel says: My client enjoys a certain degree of fame and unfortunately has become – unfairly – a target for an individual who has, in my opinion, dubious motivations. Ravenel, who was sentenced to 10 months in jail on federal cocaine distribution charges in 2007, has starred on Southern Charm since its premiere in 2014. He shares four-year-old daughter Kensie and two-year-old son Saint with ex-girlfriend Kathryn Dennis.
