My name is Isabelle, I’m 13 years old, and I live in…

My name is Isabelle, I’m 13 years old, and I live in Sweden . I can’t believe I’m actually writing my OWN Bieber experience. It all started when I stood outside Annexet. My whole body was shaking and I really had “butterflies in my stomach.” I couldn’t believe I actually about to meet the boy I’ve been crazy about, for four years. My friends and I stood in the meet and greet line and then we were allowed inside. After a couple of minutes, Ryan came and he told us all the rules for the meeting. We were suppose to leave our gifts on a table outside the meet and greet tent where Justin was, and we couldn’t ask for an autograph, no kissing, and stuff like that. We sat in the room for about two hours. Suddenly Ryan said, “Everybody, go to your seats.” We all did as he said, and suddenly Dan Kanter came out. I was about to faint when I saw him. When Dan left, I had my mental breakdown. I started to cry, and I got worried. I mean, if I cry when I see Dan, how will I react when I meet Justin Bieber himself? When I was done crying, I went to fix my make up and then walked to Ryan, the host. He stood and talked to some girls, then looked at me. I stuttered, “Uhm, Ryan. Can I-I-I please have a h-hug?” and he smiled at me, laughed a little and then said, “Yeah of course.” After a while, Ryan said, “Everybody, go to the meet and greet line,” and as we where about to take place in the line, Justin came on his segway! He said something like, “Hey everybody!” and drove back to the tent. The security pushed me and some others inside the tent, and I put on a Justin mask that I borrowed from my friend Cassandra. Justin looked at me and laughed. I made him laugh! Justin said, “Hey there sweetheart,” and before I could answer, he pulled me in for a soft and warm hug. I didn’t even ask for the hug, he just hugged me. It felt like I was going to die. Before I took place on Justin’s right side, I said quickly, “Hey Justin, can we please do funny faces on the picture?” Justin nodded and laughed as he said, “Yeah of course sweetie.” He then took the Justin mask and placed it in front of his face, and the guy took two pictures of us. After that, the security started to drag me away from him so I started to walk away. All of a sudden, I felt someones hand around my wrist and I turned around. Justin pulled me in and said, “Don’t go, just one more picture please?” In those two pictures, Justin placed the mask in front of my face this time, and I hear the camera’s click. Security grabs me once again and starts to drag me out of there. I panicked and said, “Justin, can I please have one more hug?” and he gave me the biggest smile ever and sweetest hug ever. I placed my cheek against his chest as his chin rested on top of my head. I said, “I love you so much Justin.” Oh, and did I mention how good he smells?  When I got outside the tent I looked back and got a sight of Justin’s red cap and realized that I just had met the one and only Justin Bieber. I had a breakdown on the floor outside the tent. That feeling was just so perfect. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I got like a minute with Justin, three hugs without asking for two of them and four pictures. Even though I look really weird in the pictures, it doesn’t matter. I met the boy I’ve loved for four years, I made him laugh, I made him smile, and the best thing of all, I made him blush. Justin also posted a collage on his Twitter from the meet and greet I was at, and my picture was in it!  -@3mptyh3art Link: My name is Isabelle, I’m 13 years old, and I live in…

It’s taken me over a month to write my Bieber experience…

It’s taken me over a month to write my Bieber experience because I haven’t been able to put how amazing it was into words. I also won’t ever be able to express how thankful I am for this opportunity. I’m shaking writing this because I still can’t believe my one and only dream has come true. My name is Steph and I’ve been a belieber since the very beginning. I actually remember once telling my 5th grade teacher that my favorite song was “One Time” by Justin Bieber and she was like, “Who’s that?” Basically I’ve been a fan ever since his name wasn’t even well known. My whole experience started in early November when my mom asked me if I wanted to go to another Believe tour show as my Christmas present. I had already gone to the Tacoma show on October 9th and ever since the concert I came home crying every day because of my post concert depression. I think my mom noticed and that was the main reason why she wanted me to go to another show. Of course I broke down crying and said yes, so that night we found some tickets and a city to fly to for the concert. It’s kind of a long story of how I actually got the M&G’s but long story short, I got them through my friend’s dad who has connections with the sponsoring companies of the tour. When she called me one afternoon and told me her dad got them for me, I had to hang up about 237 times because I couldn’t even talk. The two months leading up to the concert were the longest months of my life. One of my best friends, Jen, helped me plan what I was going to say to Justin and what I was going to wear. January 7th, 2013 finally came around and my mom and I flew to Denver, CO for the concert. When we got off the plane I could barely breath and I wanted to slap everyone at the airport because they were just minding their own business and staying calm even though Justin was breathing the same air and was in the same city as them. I stayed up until 6 a.m. that night crying, shaking and I don’t even know. The next morning I took 3 hours getting ready and then we left for the arena. It took a while to get our wristbands because there was a lot of chaos but eventually we got them and went into the line. I was trying to remain as calm as I could because I didn’t want to cry and have my eyes be all puffy in the picture. I thought I was doing pretty well until Kenny walked by and I lost it. I started bawling and I literally couldn’t breath and I had to sit down and my mom was calming me down. My mom and I were supposed to be in a line where you had to get into groups of six to take the picture but the security got us screwed up and we were lucky enough to get mixed in with the line that could have two people in the picture. Finally the group in front of us went in the tent and as they went in, I saw Justin standing there and my knees buckled and I froze. It was then our turn to go in and when they opened the curtain for us I saw Justin standing there looking so adorable and perfect. He was laughing at what I thought was the wall but then I figured out that it was Lil Twist. The M&G started late by the way so we only got legit 5 seconds with him. We walked in and Justin put his arm around me and I quickly asked him with all the courage I had if we could do a funny picture. I wanted my picture to be original and cute. He responded, “Yeah come on!” in his perfect, raspy voice and then laughed. My mom then said something to him but I can’t remember what because it was all a blur. All I remember though was that he said, “Thank you so much,” to her. After the picture my mom said, “Oops I forgot the funny picture!” And Justin said, “Awwwww!” while smiling. Just before the security manhandled me out of the tent I turned and said, “I love you” to him and he smiled and waved. Immediately after I left the tent I started bawling and I didn’t stop until after the concert was over. It was the best day of my life. Justin is such a big part of my life and I’m so grateful I got to me my idol because he means so much to me. He is the reason for my smile. -Stephanie Read the original here: It’s taken me over a month to write my Bieber experience…

My name is Maddie and I met Justin on December 15, 2012 at B96…

My name is Maddie and I met Justin on December 15, 2012 at B96 Jingle Bash in Chicago. I’ve been waiting to write a “My Bieber Experience” since the start. It all started when B96 was giving away meet & greets for the Jingle Bash along with backstage passes. They gave out a pair three times a day for two weeks, I never thought I would win. I’ve seen Justin in concert 5 times and I always thought I’d never meet him. Fortunately, my mom knew how much I loved Justin and tried every day to win them for me while I was at school. The second day they were giving them away, I got the message that I knew was going to change my life forever. My mom texted me saying, “OMG!!! You are gonna meet Justin!!!!” At first I didn’t believe her. The days passed and I had to wait a month and a half to finally meet Justin. Then the day finally came. I woke up bright and early to begin getting ready! At 11 a.m. I left my house to start heading to the Allstate Arena and had to pick up my tickets as well. When I went to pick up my ticket, they ended up being in the 9th row. I had never been that close to him before in my life. I went crazy! But my excitement didn’t stop there. The way B96 had it set up the meet & greets was in the middle of the concert. We had to be at the West Gate by 8:20 p.m. so I left my seat at 8 during the end of Cody Simpson’s performance. Me and my little sister got a wristband and were 4th in line all ready to meet Justin. While we were waiting in line, right after following his performance, Cody Simpson walked by and waved and said hi to us all. Originally they had said that they would do pictures in groups of 2 but then Justin was late and we didn’t go backstage till 10 p.m. and Justin was supposed to perform at 10:10. They made us get into groups of 6, which I was kind of bummed about but I knew I was meeting him so it was all okay. We walked backstage, down these stairs to this tent thing that Justin was in. While we were in line down there Ryan Beatty was sitting down on his phone. My sister and I called him over and he hugged the both of us. Finally after hours of waiting and missing the concert, it was our turn to meet Justin. We walked into this tent, and i wasn’t letting anyone else stand next to him. I stood on the right side, and my sister hopped next to him on the left side. When we first walked in, he hugged us both and said hi. They took the picture and I gave him a quick hug and he said, “Bye thanks for coming, I love you all.” As soon as we left the tent I started to bawl hysterically, realizing what had just happened and we still had his whole performance left. He came on around 10:30 and performed for about 40 minutes. All together the night was so special and something I will always remember. It was great meeting him, he’s so flawless and nice. I just want everyone to Never Say Never, cause I never thought in million years I would get to have a My Bieber Experience, and meet my idol Justin Bieber. -@maddieeguthrie See the article here: My name is Maddie and I met Justin on December 15, 2012 at B96…

UNICEF: 100,000 Pakistan kids face starvation

Suhani Bunglani fans flies away from her two baby girls as one sleeps motionless while the other stares without blinking at the roof of their tent, her empty belly bulging beneath a green flowered shirt. Their newborn sister already died on the ground inside this steamy shelter at just 4 days old, after the family's escape from violent floods that drowned a huge swath of Pakistan. Now the girls, ages 1 and 2, are slowly starving, with shriveled arms and legs as fragile as twigs. More than 100,000 children left homeless by Pakistan's floods are in danger of dying because they simply do not have enough to eat, according to UNICEF. Children already weak from living on too little food in poor rural areas before the floods are fighting to stay alive, as diarrhea, respiratory diseases and malaria attack their emaciated bodies. Doctors roaming the 100-degree camp that reeks of urine and animal manure have warned Bunglani three times to take her children to the hospital, or they will die. The mother says she knows they need help, but she cannot leave the tent without her husband's consent. She must stay until he returns, even if it means risking her daughters' lives. “I am waiting for my husband,” she says, still fanning flies from the sweating babies. “He is coming.” The floodwaters that swamped a section of Pakistan larger than Florida continue to inundate new areas, forcing even more people to flee. At least 18 million have already been affected, and nearly half of them are homeless. Many have been herded into crude, crowded camps or left to fend for themselves along roads. But doctors warn the real catastrophe is moving much slower than the murky water. About 105,000 kids younger than 5 at risk of dying from severe acute malnutrition over the next six months, the United Nations Children's Fund estimates. “You're seeing children who were probably very close to the brink of being malnourished and the emergency has just pushed them over the edge,” says Erin Boyd, a UNICEF emergency nutritionist working in southern Pakistan. “There's just not the capacity to treat this level of severe acute malnutrition.” cont. added by: JanforGore

James Franco Is ‘Fascinated’ By ‘Twilight’

‘The go-to guys, Taylor and Rob, are in the tent [and] it’s almost like a ‘Brokeback Mountain’ scene,’ he tells MTV News of ‘Eclipse.’ By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz James Franco Photo: MTV News James Franco is becoming not only an actor-of-all-trades, what with his stints in dramas, comedies and soap operas, but also a bit of a Renaissance man, having gone back to school for a master’s degree, filming a documentary, etc. So it should come as no surprise that he has some very insightful thoughts on the phenomenon that is “Twilight.” When we caught up with Franco at the Toronto International Film Festival recently, where he was alongside director Danny Boyle promoting their buzzy “127 Hours,” we asked him his thoughts on the series. “I haven’t read the last one! I kind of know what happens … some very strange birth, right?” he asked rhetorically about Stephenie Meyer’s fourth book in the series, “Breaking Dawn.” “I read a part of it. I think I got to the sex scene, but it was so brief, I didn’t even know if it was the actual sex scene,” he admitted. “It was kind of a letdown after all that buildup.” But did he enjoy the three novels he has read? “I wouldn’t say I enjoy them, but I’m fascinated with them. I’m interested in the metaphor of the vampire placed in the high school setting and how a relationship with a vampire can stand in for general feelings that people have as teenagers,” he said. “And the obsession people have with that is also fascinating to me.” Franco also revealed that he has seen the three “Twilight” movies, enough to call out series superstars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner by first names and cite the infamous “tent scene” in the process. “The movies are interesting also because they’ve really become part of the whole ‘Twilight’ phenomenon, and it’s really hard to extricate those actors from the reading experience or just the phenomenon of ‘Twilight’ now. They’ve become a part of it to the point that the movies are almost commenting on themselves,” Franco said. “There will be a scene where the go-to guys, Taylor and Rob, are in the tent, it’s almost like a ‘Brokeback Mountain’ scene, where the two guys are talking in a tent and the girl is asleep, and they’re having, like, this romantic moment almost through her, in a way. One of them says, ‘Well, I’m hotter than you,’ and it’s almost like they’re winking at the fans, like to the Team Jacob or the Team Edwards.” Perhaps we should enlist Mr. Franco for further “Twilight” analysis … What do you think of Franco’s “Twilight” enthusiasm?
