The film mogul says that he feels like after years of playing the famed character, he’s ready to retire Madea. He says that he doesn’t want to be Madea’s age playing her character. Next year “A Madea Family Funeral” comes out and most people think this is the movie that will take out the gangsta granny. Is the culture really ready to say goodbye to Madea. Omari Hadwick is opening up about an incident that happened with a fan a few months ago. He took to social media to talk about a fan became upset with after insisting that he take a picture with her He expressed that he does not take pictures with his fans while with his family, but according to his post she was upset by the rejection of the picture. Omari sounded off about the situation and said that people don’t know how his wife changed his life. A father of six, who was also an aspiring rapper, was shot and killed outside of a Queens, NY lounge on early Sunday morning (Oct. 8). Frank Snyder, 35, was gunned down in a drive-by shooting as he walked into the Tavern Lounge on Jamaica Ave. Reports the New York Daily News : “We were singing ‘Happy Birthday’ and next thing you know, everybody is going crazy,” said Tiesajah Reynolds, 20, who was working at the bar. “I didn’t even know what was going on until I saw (Snyder) on the floor gasping for air and blood everywhere.” Snyder was wounded in the neck and leg. Medics rushed him to Jamaica Hospital, where he died. He was hosting a birthday party for two fellow hip-hop artists at the Tavern Lounge when he was killed, according to an Instagram post. His mother, Debra Snyder, said investigators told her “he was outside promoting his music and it was a drive-by (shooting). He didn’t have enemies, but there was a lot of jealousy. He did shows in the club every Saturday,” she said. Snyder went by the moniker Hollywood Play and reportedly performed at the club every weekend. Police say there were several men in the car—a dark colored sedan—with the gunman. However, no arrests have been made.

So far several celebrities have stepped up to help bring the vision for the August Wilson House to fruition. Amongst those who have donated to the project—that is being spearheaded by Washington—includes Tyler Perry , Oprah Winfrey , Shonda Rhimes , and Spike Lee . There was a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday. “I love August. He touches my soul, our souls. This is just like coming home to me. I feel so comfortable here,” Washington told the news outlet. “It starts with August and the wonderful people here and the commitment that we see today to this community, and I’m glad to be a part of that.” Wilson’s brother Richard Kittel says August would have been honored and humbled that his former house would be turned into a space to inspire playwrights, actors, and artists for generations to come. In 2015, Washington announced that he had landed a deal with HBO to produce nine of August Wilson’s plays for the cable network. “His stories are specifically African American stories, but the themes are universal,” Washington told the Hollywood Reporter . “He was just a bright, brilliant shining light who was here and then he was gone, but his work will live forever to be interpreted by actors and directors for as long as we’re here.” According to the Post-Gazette , the HBO project is still in the works and is slated to be released by 2020. And in a recent episode of Oprah’s Master Class, he gets real about his father, who physically and abused the actor when he was young. “As terrible as he was, and as horrible as he was, he never once left us. We were never hungry. And every time he’d go to work, all week, he’d bring all the money home,” Perry said of Emmitt Perry Sr . “From a child, I had always known that this man despised me,” Perry recalled. “I could not figure it out for the longest [time]. I could not figure out why he hated me so.” “Every action was about his hatred or his disdain for me,” he continued. However , when the Madea fil m director and self- made millionaire found out that Perry wasn’t his biological father , he strangely felt obligated to take care of hi m . “I’m giving him what he gave to me,” Perry explained. “I had shelter; I had food . He has shelter, pretty nice shelter, and any food that he wants to eat.” But Perry’s version of support lacks any real connection or emotion . “What I missed from him, being in a relationship, is also what he’s missing from me now. So he doesn’t have everything. He has what’s easy.” During the interview , Perry didn’t just focus on his past and current trau ma . H e also focused on what makes him happy–his son . Mo’Nique Responds To Adrienne Bailon’s Keep-It-Real Criticism Mo’Nique has A LOT to say on her nearly decade-old beef with Lee Daniels, Tyler Perry, and Oprah Winfrey over the hard left her movie career took after “Precious.” While discussing the drama, the ladies of ‘The Real’ questioned if Mo’Nique’s potty-mouthed tirades were really the best course of action — either for closure, healing, or moving forward in her own career.
