‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ Trailer: Our Wish List

Let’s kill some time before Wednesday’s sneak peek by thinking up our dream trailer, in ‘Twilight’ Tuesday. By Kara Warner Robert Pattinson in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” Photo: Is it Wednesday yet? We are anxiously awaiting the debut of yet another expectedly epic teaser trailer for “Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” and although there was a brief moment of reprieve when we got a sneak peek at 13 seconds of the teaser on Tuesday (June 19), we’re now in full-on obsessive analytical mode, which means it’s time to think about the five things we’re hoping to see in this new trailer: Renesmee, Renesmee, Renesmee As much as we’d like to ooh and ahh over how cute Edward and Bella’s progeny is as a baby, now that we’ve seen a photo of Mackenzie Foy as Renesmee , we’re thirsty for scenes of the young lass in action. Baby? What baby? As we all know, her existence is a continued threat to the Volturi, so we’re hoping to see some of that intensity play out. New Vampires! It seems like I write about this every week, but I’m still dying to see more of those new additions to the cast , i.e. all the other vampires from the non-Cullen clan. Where and why are you hiding Garrett, Carmen, Irina, etc.? Vampire Bella’s Mind Tricks We very likely won’t be seeing Bella’s secret superpower until the end of the movie, but how about showing us a little sample of what she can do with her soon-to-be-superstrong mental force field? I’ll settle for a quick glimpse of her arm-wrestling battle royale with Emmett, but it would be great to see how Bill Condon and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg adapted Stephenie Meyer’s description of Bella’s mind tricks. The Next Great “Twilight” Song Biased as I am, it’s going to be hard for anyone to top the Edward/Bella love song from “Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last , but in knowing the caliber of the “Twilight” soundtracks, I’m betting it will include several potential new favorite songs. So why not give us a little listen in this new trailer? Jacob Not Being Creepy With Renesmee I am all about my love for Jacob, but the whole imprinting on Renesmee thing still creeps me out. I know, I know, he only feels and thinks about his total devotion to the young lady, but I just can’t get past the oddness of it all. Something that would help me get over that is if I could see how Taylor Lautner’s Jacob interacts with Foy as Renesmee. What do you want to see in the trailer? ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ Has Us Pumped For Fresh Blood

‘Twilight’ Tuesday looks forward to all the vampires making their debut in the November 2012 finale. By Kara Warner Dakota Fanning as a Volturi in “New Moon” Photo: Summit Entertainment Looking ahead to November, when we finally get to see the end of the “Twilight” franchise in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” there are many things to get excited about. For starters, Bella is now a vampire, Renesmee is growing up and the Volturi are back. But what I am most looking forward to are all the fresh vampires. There are so many new characters, not to mention the fun involved in the adventurous search for allies, getting the group together, bonding over things like eating habits and fighting against the Volturi. Therefore, in the spirit of MTV Movies’ Ones to Watch in 2012 , this “Twilight” Tuesday is dedicated to the ones to watch in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” — which if you didn’t already know, is also a big part of our MTV Movie Brawl 2012 . Before I get to my favorite new additions, “Twilight” vampire expert and star Peter Facinelli had these kind words to say about a few of his new castmates when MTV News caught up with him: “There’s Maggie Grace; she’s fantastic. Christian Camargo is fantastic and Juilliard-trained. I always wish I went to Juilliard, so when I meet people from Juilliard, I’m always jealous,” he said. “Mia Maestro — there’s so many talented people that were tapped. It’s a much larger cast.” Clearly, Facinelli has a thing for the Denali coven, which we got a glimpse of in “Part 1” during Bella and Edward’s wedding. The Denali clan is another group of vegetarian vamps consisting of Irina (Grace), former Volturi Eleazar (Camargo) and his multilingual mate Carmen (Maestro). The Denalis are, indeed, a nice bunch. My personal favorite new vampire, however, is Garrett, the American nomad played by charming and adorable actor Lee Pace (“Pushing Daisies,” “The Fall”). I remember liking him from the moment Stephenie Meyer introduced him, due to the 6-foot-2 factor, his curiosity and his adventurous nature. His character has a nice arc, which I’ll avoid spoiling fully here, and Pace is the absolute perfect actor to play him. Fellow fan and creator of the Kristen Stewart Hot Bodyguard Facebook page Sarah M. also brought up JD Pardo, who plays the other vamp/human hybrid Nahuel. “He was super nice at the BD1 premiere & ain’t too hard on the eyes either!” she tweeted . What do you think, “Twilight” fans? Who are other ones to watch in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2”? Let us know in the comments or tweet me @karawarner! Peter Facinelli on Breaking Dawn’s Massive Script, Loosies and His Whitey Bulger Pic

As Cullen family ringleader Carlisle, Peter Facinelli has faced off with the Volturi, rallied his clan to keep Bella and Edward safe and, in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1 , walks a tightrope trying to keep Bella unharmed during her unexpected pregnancy. Facinelli talked with Movieline about working with writer/director Bill Condon and Stephenie Meyer on the final two films and the daunting task of shooting them — at the junket for the film earlier in the day, Facinelli was still marveling at the screenplay’s heft.

‘Breaking Dawn’ Star Peter Facinelli Raves About Kristen Stewart As A Vampire

‘For some reason, once they put those contact lenses in, you look very statuesque,’ actor says on the Golden Globes red carpet. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Peter Facinelli Photo: Frazer Harrison/ Getty Images We’ve had a preview of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart getting sexy as Edward and Bella on their honeymoon in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” and now Cullen patriarch Peter Facinelli has some more secrets from the movie’s set. When MTV News caught up with Facinelli on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday (January 16), he revealed what Stewart’s Bella is like as a vampire. “She’s doing really well. She looks fantastic,” he raved about Stewart’s transition to a vampire for the final films in the series. “For some reason, once they put those contact lenses in, you look very statuesque.” Facinelli wouldn’t go into detail about shooting the last two films in the franchise with director Bill Condon and the rest of the “Breaking Dawn” crew, but he did admit that things have been very action-packed. “We’ve been shooting the last two weeks with a lot of vampires,” he said. “I don’t want to give away too much, but if you’ve read the books, it’s the standoff with lots of vampires in play. There’s like 70 people going through the works at once. It’s a little maddening, but fun. “We shot pretty much the ending of the two movies the other day,” he added about how much time the cast has left on-set. “But we shoot until mid-April.” MTV News recently spoke to Facinelli’s co-star Ashley Greene about that fight sequence against the Volturi, and she expressed her excitement about it as well. “As a cast, we like to do as many of our own stunts as possible, so it’s fun and challenging to shoot those scenes,” she said. “Jeff Imada, the stunt coordinator, is such a blast to work with as well. I’m learning so much from him.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” We’ve got the Golden Globes covered! Mos Def Signs With Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music

Seasoned Brooklyn MC and ‘Lord, Lord, Lord’ collaborator confirms he’s joining Yeezy’s label in latest issue of XXL. By Vanessa Denis Mos Def Photo: Jeffrey Ufberg/ Getty Images Kanye West has expanded his roster again, and like the most recent addition to his G.O.O.D. Music label, Pusha T, the new signing is another familiar face: seasoned hip-hop favorite Mos Def . The Brooklyn MC and West talk about the deal and break down their musical relationship in the October issue of XXL, which comes out on Tuesday and features a Kanye cover story. And Mos Def makes an appearance on West’s G.O.O.D. Friday single “Lord, Lord, Lord,” along with Swizz Beatz, Raekwon and singer Charlie Wilson. Mos’ decision to join G.O.O.D. Music follows the release of his last album, The Ecstatic, on indie label Downtown Records in 2009. The rapper/actor and Kanye first collaborated on the Chicago MC’s College Dropout, for “Two Words,” and then again on “Drunk and Hot Girls” from Graduation. On “Lord, Lord, Lord,” Mos Def opens the slow-moving track. “Cool ruler standing still, sweatin’ through the shade,” Mos says. “He knew those lights only grew bright to fade/ Dead-wrong pageantry, lottery and games/ Sleight of hand provided by extravagant and fake.” With the signing of Mos Def, West continues his movement, pulling in MCs — often with a devoted following outside the mainstream — who come ready to break down creative barriers. Back in July, Pusha wouldn’t confirm or deny that he’d signed with G.O.O.D: “I mean, you know. I been to Hawaii. Hawaii is a nice place. Good music is made down there, ya know. So, yeah, I was there. I can’t say too much about that.” Of course, that’s no longer a mystery. Pusha confirmed to MTV News at this year’s VMAs that he was onboard with Kanye. The only question remaining is who else will be popping up on the bubbling label. What do you think of Kanye bringing Mos Def into his G.O.O.D. Music fold? Tell us in the comments! ‘Breaking Dawn’ Casts Maggie Grace As Irina

‘Lost’ and ‘Taken’ actress will play a ‘vegetarian’ vampire who turns on the Cullens. By Kara Warner Maggie Grace Photo: Katy Winn/ Getty Images With production set to begin very soon, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1” continues to add members to its already-crowded cast. Last month we learned that “The Pacific” actor Rami Malek had joined the “Dawn” ranks in the role of Egyptian vampire Benjamin. On Monday (September 27), it was reported that “Lost” and “Taken” actress Maggie Grace has signed on to play “vegetarian” vampire Irina. A rep from Summit Entertainment confirmed the casting to MTV News, and the original story appeared first on Deadline.com . So who is Irina? Those familiar with Stephenie Meyer’s source material will recall that she is a member of the Denali coven, one of the only other “vegetarian” vampire covens and allies with the Cullens — that is, until Irina blames the family for the death of her former lover, Laurent, and vengefully reveals a Cullen family secret to the Volturi. The other “Dawn” newbie, Benjamin, is a member of the Egyptian coven who comes to help Bella and the Cullens battle the Volturi. Benjamin is a young vamp blessed with the special ability of controlling the elements (
