If you've been anywhere near the internet in the past three months, then you're no doubt aware of the shocking public disgrace that is the Harvey Weinstein sex scandals . At this point, there are so many accusations against Weinstein that it's nearly impossible to keep track of them all, but not one of his victims has forgotten the damage he inflicted. Among Weinstein's many high-profile (alleged) victims is the actress Mira Sorvino, who was (allegedly) blacklisted by the powerful mogul after he attempted to rape her and she fled . Those familiar with the situation say Weinstein effectively derailed Sorvino's once-promising career as revenge for eluding his attempted sexual assault. It remains to be seen if Weinstein will go to prison in connection with the many accusations against him, but it's beginning to look like he'd be better off incarcerated. The former Miramax chief has some mighty powerful enemies on the outside these days, including Mira's famous father, Paul Sorvino. You might know Paul as Paulie in Goodfellas , or from a number of other intimidating badass roles that didn't seem to be much of a stretch for the veteran actor. TMZ recently caught up with Paul and asked him about the Weinstein situation. “He better hope that he goes to jail,” Sorvino told the outlet in no uncertain terms. “If we come across, I think he'll be lying on the floor … somehow.” Hilariously, Sorvino's awesome threats get even more blunt from there. Watch the full clip below to see Sorvino make an early case for himself as Dad of the Year:
Rose McGowan Accuses Director Robert Rodriguez Of Exploitation Rose McGowan is pointing the finger at yet another big-name Hollywood heavy hitter. This time, it’s movie director and ex-boyfriend Robert Rodgriquez. She claims the man she loved at the time used the information of her 1997 rape at the hands of Harvey Weinstein on the set of “Scream” — and the subsequent payout she accepted and industry blacklisting that came afterward — against her in an exploitative manner. Robert Rodriguez told Variety back in October that he cast McGowan in his 2007 flick “Planet Terror” as a type of revenge on her behalf, giving her a leading role as a bad-azz character after years of her being blacklisted by Weinstein. As a result, the release of the movie, a double-feature alongside Quentin Tarantino’s film “Death Proof,” released as “Grindhouse,” was buried by Weinstein out of spite and did not do the expected box office numbers. However, Rose has a different accounting of events. She tells Vanity Fair in a new article that Rodriguez held the comeback opportunity he was giving her over her head, and used his knowledge of the details of her encounter with Weinstein to play exploitative mind games with her. He placed her in a near-rape attack scene with Tarantino, causing her to lose her grip on her sanity. Then, in the ultimate betrayal, he sold the film to the Weinstein company. The thing is…Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan started a full-on boyfriend/girlfriend relationship while on set of the exact same movie — unbeknownst to Rodriguez’s wife at the time. The relationship not only cost Rodriguez his marriage but also his career opportunities for a time since the scandal didn’t play all that well for him in the industry. Plus, the movie he put himself on the line for was far from a box office success. Jeez, let Rose tell it, she has STEADILY had the roughest go of it for the last 20 years in the industry. Getty
Tim Boxer/Getty Images NYPD Investigating Harvey Weinstein’s Victim Payouts As you may recall, Harvey was already under investigation by the NYPD for the rape of actress Paz De La Huerta . However, with the case being 10 years old, the D.A. ran into too many difficulties and now feel it may be impossible to prosecute . But, there may be a loophole to get some formal charges in on Harvey . Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that the NY District Attorney D.A. is investigating DOZENS of payments Weinstein doled out to keep his victims quiet and his multiple sexual misconduct cases out of court. They’re looking to decipher the source of the money paid out. According to the D.A., if any of the cash was secretly siphoned from The Weinstein Company, rather than Harvey’s own personal accounts…he stands to be charged with embezzlement. Harvey’s lawyer says all Harvey’s accounts and payments are on the up and up, and once they’re done with their lil investigation they’ll see there’s not even anything there to prosecute. SMH. We guess it all boils down to how careful Harvey was with the books while tossing cash at his victims. Getty/Splash
Harvey Weinstein Lied About Sex With Gwyneth Paltrow Remember how Gweneth Paltrow broke her silence on how Horny Harvey Weinstein tried to get at her in a hotel room 20 years ago…but she rejected his advances and told her agents about the incident — who in turn told her to forget about it and hush? Well, it turns out that Harvey continued indirectly victimizing the actress for years afterward, name-dropping her in a ploy to get young actresses aspiring for the big time to drop their drawers. In a new interview, part of an expose by the New York Times , Paltrow reveals that other women have reached out to her saying that Harvey told them that he had sex with her, to provide an example of how much on night with him could skyrocket their careers. “He’s not the first person to lie about sleeping with someone, but he used the lie as an assault weapon.” Seeing as how he’s out here literally forcing women into relations, dragging this lie isn’t even a shock. Pamela Anderson doesn't have much sympathy for the women who have accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment or assault. Several weeks ago, countless alleged victims came out and claimed the movie producer made unwanted passes at them or forced them to take part in unwanted sex acts. More than one has even claimed she was raped by Weinstein . Thanks to these courageous women, numerous others have come out and leveled charges of similar mistreatment against such stars as Louis CK, Charlie Rose and Matt Lauer. But Anderson doesn't see Weinstein's accusers as brave or courageous. She sees them as… stupid?!? “It was common knowledge that certain producers or certain people in Hollywood or people to avoid, privately,” Anderson told Megyn Kelly on Friday morning, adding: “You know what you're getting into if you're going into a hotel room alone.” Did they, though? Did these young women, many of whom were just starting out in Hollywood, really know Weinstein was such a monster? And what is Anderson's general point here anyway? Is she really placing even an ounce of blame on the victims of sexual assault? Saying you should have known better after someone gets raped is never a good look. The ex-Baywatch star went on to say women need the “ability of self-protection.” Meaning what, exactly? “There are a lot of self-protection courses. There is even a well known story of suffragettes learning martial arts.” Asked about her comments by TMZ, Anderson insists she was “not victim blaming.” Weinstein is absolutely “a sexist pig and a bully,” she added and the women did not deserve what he reportedly did to them. Still, she says she won't be “coerced into apology” and she stands by her original comments to Kelly. Watch them in context below. What do you think?

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty It’s no secret that a lot of people in the industry were already not too fond of Harvey Weinstein before, knowing whisperings of all of the allegations that have been coming to light for weeks now. It’s also no secret that Weinstein is far from the only powerful industry head being accused of committing sexual assault, with powerful men from virtually every industry being thrown accusations from former co-workers left and right. The Hollywood Reporter ‘s latest Writer’s Roundtable featured Get Out ‘s Jordan Peele along with other huge creative individuals like Darren Aronofsky , Aaron Sorkin , and Fatih Akin . One topic of discussion amongst the table of creatives was how power is “abused” by producers and within the system. Once it was Peele’s turn to speak on the matter, he definitely didn’t hold back, and spoke candidly on how he felt about the Hollywood figure: “To the Harvey [matter], first of all, f**k him. He’s an a**hole. But that goes to this greater question of this systemic problem, as well. The industry is just part of the system, and its shortcomings [are those of] the larger system. There is this systemic issue that holds many of us back and many of us behind. I’ve never met Harvey Weinstein. But I know that there are many other people who are similar out there.” THR noted that this Roundtable was held back on October 10, so though the initial Weinstein scandal was already being publicized, Jordan technically could have just been speaking on the corrupt system of Hollywood in general.
Lady Gaga’s entire existence, at least as a celebrity, has her been doing anything she can to get attention, to be talked about, to seem interesting, hot, edgy, an artist, in the biggest coverup since Weinstein made girls famous after jerking off to them.. She’s garbage, a hack, not hot to look at, nothing redeeming or interesting.. Just an ugly person who knows she’s ugly on the inside and out, at her core and when you look at her, doing anything to distract from you seeing how ugly she is. The fact she’s famous is due to talent and I guess these stunts because no one wants to see this monster…she was destined to be kept hidden in the studio…but she tries, oh god does she try to confuse you into thinking she’s hot…like right here…right now.. If we documented every sexual assault charge against movie producer Harvey Weinstein , we’d never have time to write about anything else at The Hollywood Gossip. But the accusation leveled against Weinstein this afternoon by a former production assistant named Mimi Haleyi seems worth mentioning because it’s just so appalling. And disgusting, to be honest. An ex-employee of the Weinstein Co., Haleyi sat alongside attorney Gloria Allred in New York City on Tuesday and told the press that she met Weinstein at the 2004 premiere of The Aviator. Two years later, at the Cannes Film Festival, Weinstein invited Haleyi to his hotel room to supposedly discuss business. After “a few minutes of normal conversation,” he attempted to convince Haleyi to give him a massage, she explained. But she declined and left the room. “By that time I was crying, as I felt completely humiliated and stupid for having been excited about meeting with him,” Haleyi said. Following this incident, Weinstein actually asked Haleyi to work on one of his television shows. After this jobs ended, he asked her to go to Paris with him. This seemed like a “romantic” request, Haleyi said today, so she turned it down. Angered that she would say no to him (twice, no less), Weinstein allegedly showed up to Haleyi’s apartment in New York and “physically forced himself in through the door, pleading with me to come to Paris,” she said. But she did not give in. After Weinstein returned from France, Haleyi said she wanted to “maintain a good relationship” with the producer, so she agreed to meet him at his Manhattan apartment. They watched TV for a few minutes, but soon “he was all over me, making sexual advances,” she said, adding: “I said, ‘I am on my period. There is no way this is going to happen. Please stop.’ He wouldn’t take no for an answer.” Weinstein is then accused of backing Haleyi into what looked like a child’s bedroom. “He held me on the bed, I tried to get him off me but … he was extremely persistent and physically overpowering,” she said. “He orally forced himself on me while i was on my period. He even pulled my tampon out. I was mortified. I was in disbelief and disgusted.” After the alleged assault, Haleyi said Weinstein rolled over on his back and asked: “Don’t you feel like we’re so much closer now?” No , she replied. Earlier this month, a New York Times article detailed eight separate settlements Weinstein had arrived at with women who accused him of sexual misconduct. Since this article went viral, countless others in Hollywood have shared their Harvey Weinstein stories. And many sound eerily similar to this one, with women saying Weinstein would invite them to his hotel room under the guise of business… only to force himself on them in various ways . A spokeswoman for Weinstein has previously said that “any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied” by him. As of this writing, 54 women have accused Weinstein of sexual assault or harassment. View Slideshow: #MeToo: Stars Share Stories of Sexual Harassment, Assault
Steven Seagal might seem like too much of a caricature to actually exist, but we regret to remind you that he is all too real. The actor, who has openly pondered a political run and shared some of his truly frightening political views, is only the latest to be accused of sexual harassment. But newly revealed audio of Steven Seagal has him ranting angrily about female journalists in what has been characterized as a misogynistic rant. You can listen below for yourself. What's the most recent news that we've heard from this guy? Probably when Steven Seagal slammed the NFL for “disrespecting the flag.” There were a couple of problems with his complaints. One, that's not what the NFL protests are about — they're not sticking up their middle finger at America, they're using the opportunity to protest the killing of unarmed black men by the very police who are supposed to protect them and enforce the law. At this point, we feel like anyone who honestly wants to understand the situation already knows that. Two, if Steven Seagal loves America so much, why does he live in Russia? Russia isn't just another country — it's a hostile foreign power that has actively worked against the United States time after time. And yet Steven Seagal seems to absolutely adore Russia's shameless despot, Vladimir Putin. We don't really need to rehash the election interference that almost no one is denying, right? Or the habit of Vladimir Putin's political enemies have of being poisoned or otherwise dying? (The same happens to journalists investigating Putin and his interests) So Steven Seagal has some pretty controversial opinions, to say the least. That is not, however, the most recent thing that we've heard about Steven Seagal. In the aftermath of the Weinstein sexual harassment scandal , more and more actresses (and actors!) have been coming forward with their #MeToo stories . In many cases, they've revealed instances of sexual harassment and sexual assault. Some women have come forward to add their names to the lists of Harvey Weinstein's accusers. Others have, for a host of reasons, declined to name the men who harassed or assaulted them. Actress Jenny McCarthy, perhaps best known for her ludicrous “medical” beliefs that have mad her name synonymous with the anti-vaxx movement, recently came forward in a podcast. She alleges that Steven Seagal told her to take off her dress during a casting call for one of his films. Just so that you know, folks, that is not appropriate. And Lisa Guerrero, who is now a journalist but was once an actress, told The Hollywood Reporter of her own Steven Seagal encounter . She alleges that in the '90s, Steven Seagal summoned her to his Beverly Hills home for an audition. That's a little weird, so she insisted upon the casting director also being present, so it should be fine, right? Well … Steven Seagal not only seemed surprised to see that casting director with her, but he answered the door in a silk kimono. Now, we're sure that kimonos are very comfy, but if you're not a college student, you should probably put on something other than a robe when people come over. Especially if it's a work thing. Instead, she describes how Steven Seagal sat on a throne-like chair in his robe and watched her audition for 10 minutes. It was fine — he didn't touch her or expose himself. But … what would have happened if she hadn't brought the casting director? While the brief audio clip, which you can listen to below, doesn't provide a whole lot of context, it's pretty damning on its own. You hear Steven Seagal's own voice as he speaks to a male interviewer. “The few times that I had a hard time was usually with women.” That's not a great way to talk about … anything. “When somebody is on tour, a promotional tour, he’s there to talk about his film, not about who he’s f—ing or who he would like to f— or who his wife was with ten years ago.” Those are the explicit versions of normal questions to ask celebrities. “They should go into pornography or something else instead of journalism if they want to hear that s–t. They're a bunch of a—-.” They should “go into pornography” … what?! Does he mean that they should be porn stars or interview porn stars? Both suggestions are absurd. He has some lovely things to say about some unnamed woman. “I won't even dare tell you what I think it is. It was just some dumb b–ch that is a liar and wanted to be sensational.” If someone is saying “some dumb b–ch” and not jokingly referring to themselves or making a totally okay inside joke with a friend … that tells you a lot about their opinions of women. Steven Seagal's decision to style his home and much of his clothing in an Asian manner is fine. He's a little eccentric, sure. But it's fine. As we all learned in 2016, an audio recording of a man with extensive Russian ties saying offensive things about women doesn't necessarily mean that he'll be negatively impacted. Of course … what exactly is Steven Seagal's career these days? So whatever fallout this audio recording might have had during his heyday probably won't amount to anything in 2017. Listen for yourself:
