Hiker Rescued After Falling 100 Feet Off Cliff And Writing Goodbye Notes To Family The NYDailyNews is reporting on helluva story about a young adventure-seeker who almost lost her life in the Arizona desert… A 25-year-old hiker who fell 100 feet from an Arizona cliff wrote goodbye notes to her family while severely injured and stranded over 24 hours, she said Monday. Rescuers found Amber Kohnhorst on May 21 below the Rose Cliffs Trail in the Arizona Strip of northwestern Arizona after a search helicopter woke her up around 7 p.m., according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Kohnhorst, a nurse from Minnesota, had left the bed and breakfast where she was staying on a sunset hike around 4:30 p.m. a day earlier. She suffered three fractures in her back, a crushed pelvis, a broken nose and multiple other injuries in her fall but survived thanks to her rescuers. Kohnhorst, an experienced hiker who had brought a whistle with her, spoke from her hospital bed Monday in an interview with KSTU-TV about the hours she spent languishing. “I couldn’t lie flat, and every time I moved, I screamed. And with that, I blew my whistle thinking maybe somebody would hear me. But I was in the middle of nowhere,” Kohnhorst said. “I wrote letters to my parents, ‘I’m sorry, I’m trying to blow my whistle, I’ve fallen.’ And that was going to be my goodbye.” Can you even IMAGINE?!? Kohnhorst was saved when owners of the bed and breakfast she was staying at alerted authorities that she was missing. A search team heard her blowing a whistle she carried with her. Per usual these days… The GoFundMe page had raised over $11,500 by Tuesday night. Kohnhorst expressed thanks even as she showed the TV station where doctors stitched one of her ears back into her head. “This week has been hard but I have to remember I’m alive,” she said. Man Who Tried To Shoot Lil Wayne Blames Birdman Even though Birdman swears he had nothing to do with the attempt to kill his “son” Lil Wayne , the man who actually wielded the gun that could have ended Wayne’s life is singing a slightly different tune… Via TMZ : The man charged with shooting up Lil Wayne’s tour bus has blown the whistle on Birdman … saying he should be behind bars too. Jimmy Winfrey claims in new court docs he shouldn’t be singled out for the crime, when “[Birdman’s] financial dispute with [Lil Wayne] is what ultimately led to the shooting.” So, Winfrey argues, “[Birdman] should be held liable as a party to the crime.” He’s not specifically saying Birdman ordered the hit, but essentially that’s what he’s saying. As TMZ first reported, Wayne’s tour bus was shot up back in April as he was leaving a club gig in Atlanta. Birdman denies any involvement. Uh-oh. Doesn’t this guy know what happens to snitches?

Stockholm, Sweden (CNN) — The founder and editor of the whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, has been charged in Sweden with rape and molestation, a spokeswoman for the Swedish prosecutor's office told CNN Saturday. Spokeswoman Karin Rosander said the charges were filed Friday night in relation to two separate instances, but she didn't have more detail about when the alleged crimes occurred or who the alleged victims are. Matt Simmons, a prominent oil industry expert who lately has been very outspoken about the BP Gulf Oil Spill coverup, was found dead in his home after supposedly drowning after apparently suffering from a heart attack. As a result of those connections Matt has blew the whistle on several lies BP and Government where telling to the public. Matt called the claims that only 5,000 barrels of oil were leaking preposterous and instead conjectured there must be at least a minimum of 120,000 barrels of oil per leaking into the Gulf. Matt also reported that there were leaks 5 to 7 miles away which were later confirmed by a NOAA report issued by the Thomas Jefferson. Matt Simmons also revealed that NOAA ships discovered a huge underwater plume of oil at 1100 meters below the surface which could possibly cover up to 40% of the Gulf of Mexico at a time when NOAA and the federal government were publicly denying the existence of underwater plumes of oil. Matt made national headlines by stating BP would go bankrupt because they didn’t have enough money to clean up the Gulf of Mexico as well as making claims that the well integrity and pressures were so high that nothing short of a nuke could close this well.
