Queen of the Booty. Lord of the Arseocracy. Pippa Middleton’s rear end made her an international phenom in 2011, something she readily acknowledges. With a sense of humor, no less. Speaking at the Women in Advertising and Communications dinner in London Tuesday, Pippa Middleton joked about being famous for her perky posterior. “As I have found out, recognition has its upside, its downside and – you may say – its backside,” the 30-year-old author and event planner told 400 attendees. Pippa said she was just ” glad it fitted ” at the time of the royal wedding event, but added with a knowing smile, “In retrospect, it fitted a little too well.” When Kate Middleton’s little sister arrived at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011, she turned heads in her curve-hugging, stunning bridesmaid dress. Before long, she was on tabloid covers and featured in several internet memes. The butt of many jokes, you could say … as well as a sex symbol. “It is a bit startling to achieve global recognition before the age of 30 on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom,” Pippa said. “One day I might be able to make sense of this,” adds the younger Middleton, who competes in triathlons, plays tennis and is always fashionable. She’s also engaged to Nico Jackson , reportedly … lucky guy if so. Question is: Will we see Kate Middleton pregnant again before Pippa with her first?! 19 Prettiest Pippa Middleton Pics Open Slideshow 1. Personal injury lawyer Jamie Casino’s epic, thoroughly insane Super Bowl commercial made him one of the biggest viral stars of Sunday night’s event. Impressive, considering it only aired in Savannah, Ga. Almost immediately after the Jamie Casino Super Bowl ad aired and spread like wildfire online, he began getting calls from potential clients all over the U.S. Not only that, TV and movie producers began inundating him with offers, he says. If you’ve seen this production he put together, you’ll understand why: Jamie Casino Super Bowl Commercial In theatrical, hilariously over-the-top fashion, Casino’s ad tells the story of how his brother was killed in a police-related shooting and how this changed his life. Before that, he admits, he was a ruthless criminal defense attorney. Now he’s a man of the people, a lawyer who stands up for those who have been wronged! How much did this unreal TV spot cost? Jamie Casino tells TMZ Live that he spent under $100,000 to film and buy the advertising on local TV during the Super Bowl … clearly money well spent. According to Casino, he has a movie camera that he often utilizes for television advertising, but decided to go particularly big in this case. Mission accomplished. As for whether he’ll actually take producers up on offers to parlay this into fame and fortune? His two young kids will probably prevent that from happening. We can’t wait for the sequel, though. It is not a good day to be in the commercial business. First, this Swiffer ad was slammed for sexism. Then, these Happy Prostitute ads were pulled in Brazil. Now, Pamela Anderson has been deemed an insult to her gender in Great Britain… or at least a commercial that features the former Baywatch beauty. Pamela Anderson Ad: Sexist? The country’s Advertising Standards Authority stated in its ruling that the above ad for Dreamscape Networks includes a fantasy sequence that is far too offensive for the air. In a statement defending its prohibition, the ASA pointed to a bikini-clad Anderson and another model showing off their cleavage while dancing and being covered in cream. “Because of that, we considered the ad was likely to cause serious offence to some viewers on the basis that it was sexist and degrading to women.” Watch the spot and decide for yourself: Should the commercial have been yanked? Yes, it has no business on the air! I’ll need to watch it a few more times to decide View Poll »

Please O…none of us want another Perry Produced/Written sitcom. Is it just us or is this a bad move for her and the OWN Network? We’ve got to hand it to Oprah…her network was falling so far in ratings many of us were wondering if OWN would still be on air right now. But with shows like Super Soul Sunday, Oprah’s Lifeclass, Iyanla, Fix My Life, and her Next Chapter interviews, the network was has bounced back and reported numbers in the double-digits this past quarter. So what’s her next step? She’s bringing scripted programming to the network and she’s turned to Tyler Perry…(kill us now). OWN sent out a press release recently and they’ve confirmed that the network has entered into a partnership with Perry, who is set to produce ‘scripted’ material for the channel: Los Angeles, CA – OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today an exclusive partnership with Tyler Perry, the award winning actor, director, screenwriter, playwright and producer, to become his singular destination for all new television series and projects, including two new scripted series for the network to premiere in mid 2013. These will be the first original scripted series for OWN and Perry will executive produce, write and direct both series. The announcement comes as OWN’s momentum and ability to draw new viewers continues to grow. The network closed its third consecutive quarter of year-over-year, double-digit ratings gains across primetime and total day in the key women 25-54 demo (+63% and +70% respectively) and saw triple-digit ratings growth in September. Perry’s popular television series “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” “Meet The Browns” and “For Better Or Worse” have been massive hits with record-breaking ratings. Perry had his first foray into television in 2007 with the hit series “House of Payne,” which premiered as cable’s biggest comedy debut ever. The series remained basic cable’s top-rated sitcom only until the premiere of Perry’s second series “Meet The Browns.” “I have been looking forward to the day when we would be in the position to enter the world of scripted television. That day has come,” said Oprah Winfrey, CEO, OWN. “We are all energized by the opportunity to collaborate with Tyler who has a proven track record for producing highly successful cable series. He has an incredible ability to illuminate life stories and characters in his unique voice and inspires and encourages people all over the world.” “It’s a dream realized to partner with Oprah and bring scripted programming to OWN,” stated Perry. “She has accomplished so much with the network and I’m excited to work with her to be a part of its continued growth.” “Bringing Tyler Perry exclusively to OWN is a major coup. Today’s announcement demonstrates the power of the Oprah brand to attract some of the biggest names in television and film to OWN,” said David Zaslav, president and CEO of Discovery Communications. “OWN’s growth over the past nine months has been nothing short of phenomenal and, with the continued support of our advertising and affiliate Partners, this bold move into scripted entertainment positions OWN to continue that momentum going forward.” What do you think about this collab? Is Oprah trying to reach out to the black community via Perry? And will he step outside of the box and not give us show(s) like House of Payne, Meet the Browns, and For Better or Worse?
