You are making a commitment to yourself, that for the next year, you’re only going to spend that target amount. Now, Anthony has been added to the list, as it was just announced by Deadline that she will portray Evan Ross’s character Angel’s estranged mother Paola, who has a complicated history with Jahil, played by Benjamin Bratt. With Star still early into its second season, the high-profile guest stars will likely fill out the remainder of the season, with some spilling over into the show’s third season as well. At press time, there is no official date announced when Anthony is slated to appear, but series creator Lee Daniels has a habit of moving pretty quickly, so it could be sooner rather than later. WENN Stephen Belafonte Needs Visitation Of Step-Daughter In Divorce Stephen Belafonte filed paperwork in Los Angeles County Superior Court amid his divorce war with the Mel B . Belafonte claims he’s the de facto dad to Mel B’s daughter with Eddie Murphy, so he made a formal request for stepparent visitation on Friday. In his declaration to the court, Belafonte notes that he started dating Mel B when her daughter with Murphy was only one month old. He has spent the last decade raising the child as his own, and because of this, he argued for future visitation. The 10-page declaration states, “By all intents and purposes, I am Angel’s father.” “I believe my request for stepparent visitation is in Angel’s best interests, as Angel has been accustomed to spending time with me and sees me as the only father figure in her life,” he said. Belafonte presented proof of this with the fact that Angel calls him “daddy” and also tells him via text messages that she loves him. He says that there is no financial motivation, and his only desire with the divorce is to not hurt his step-daughter.

In an interview published yesterday, Jenelle Evans spoke about her difficult past and opened up about having finally found domestic bliss with her three children and fiance, David Eason. Today, the new, chillaxed, enlightened Jenelle has a message for her many fans on social media followers: Stop making up lies, or she will cut you! As you may have heard, some fans are under the impression that Jenelle is pregnant with her fourth child . The Carolina Hurricane took to Twitter today to set the record straight as only she can: “You all need to chill spreading rumors about being pregnant!” Jenelle tweeted. “I got the mirena BC implant immediately after having Ensley. No more babies!” The birth control specifics are a nice touch, but really, Jenelle shouldn’t be surprised that fans are hesitant to believe her. For one thing, Jenelle lied about her third pregnancy for months before a car accident police report revealed that she was indeed knocked up. On top of that Eason seemed to confirm the latest rumors just last week. It now looks as thougn Jenelle and David were trolling their followers , which is fine. It’s certainly their right to have some fun with fans who are perhaps overly interested in the events of their personal lives. But Jenelle doesn’t get to spend a week misleading fans and then become outraged when they believe her lies. It’s times like this we’re reminded that Jenelle can declare herself a fully-matured super mom who’s ready to regain custody of her eldest child, but until she demonstrates that maturity through her actions, no one will buy it. One year ago, Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner had a tragic miscarriage four months into the pregnancy. The Married At First Sight stars grieved and mourn and shared their loss with the world. Now it’s a year later, and while they are excited to be expecting again , they haven’t forgotten their son who would have been, Johnathan. We see a photo of the two of them standing by Johnathan’s memorial tree in their backyard, but it’s the heartfelt caption that really hits home for fans of the family and for those who understand their loss. In an emotional message, punctuated by emojis, Jamie Otis took to Instagram to share how she and her husband are feeling, one year later. “A year ago from today was our last full day pregnant with our first born son.” Calendar dates can be wonderful for birthdays and anniversaries; for remembering a loss, they can be cruel. “Johnathan was delivered on July 13th, 2016 at just 17 weeks, 1 day. He was way too little to survive outside the womb.” That must have been agonizing in ways that most of us cannot even imagine. Though we have seen Jamie and Doug in that hospital photo , seeing and feeling are different things. “I remember feeling so helpless – there was nothing I could do to help my baby.” That’s every parent’s nightmare. “I swore to myself, to my hubby, to God, to my baby boy, and to ANYONE who would listen that I’d never let him just be forgotten.” She’s really keeping that promise. She also talks about coping mechanisms, which are important to have and also important to share with others who might need them. “I blogged a lot to help cope with the loneliness; to numb the pain.” No matter how loving and supportive a spouse and family might be, a miscarriage hits home in ways that most people can’t understand or provide comfort for. “I will forever be thankful & I’ll never forget the countless Frans – and even strangers – who reached out to me to offer love & support.” “Frans,” as in fans who are friends or like friends. It’s cute. And then she talks about the memorial. “…I planned ways to honor our angel baby’s short, sweet life.” There are a lot of ways to do that. “One of the ways I wanted to remember him was by planting a tree for him & watching it grow.” That will only grow more meaningful as the years go by. “Now that we finally have our own home and our own backyard we can plant that tree. We researched and found a tree that blossoms all summer long.” That’s absolutely beautiful. She then invited fans and followers to join her in keeping her son’s memory alive, last night but also always. Everybody grieves and mourns in their own way. We’re sure that part of Jamie looks forward to the day that the hardest thing that she has to do is confront body-shamers . It’s not for us — or anyone — to say if someone’s grieving too little or too much.
