“But their love seems so real!” said no one ever. While Bachelorette Kailyn Bristowe and her #1 rose recipient, Shawn Booth are keeping marriage talk at bay, former contestant JJ Lane is calling their relationship a total sham. Lane spoke to In Touch about how Bristowe and Booth are sitting on a throne of lines together in the name of cash. And though he may be right in his assumptions that this is all a farce, Lane kinda sounds bitter to say the least. “Kaitlyn and Shawn’s relationship is a sham ,” Lane claimed. “They have a business relationship. Shawn is only sticking with her for the money.” What about true love? What about the televised wedding? “Shawn is such a jealous, insecure person,” Lane continued. “There is no way that Kaitlyn is going to be able to live her life long-term with a guy like that.” Like any villain, Lane ended his interview with a zinger. “I will revel in their divorce!” he proclaimed. OK, guy. chill out. Few Bachelor/Bachelorettes have gone the distance with their rose recipient, so everything Lane is saying could possibly be true. However, ABC must have some ironclad restrictions on what past and present contestants can and cannot say. Bottom line: Save it for the tell-all, Lane (be sure to get through the legal tape first). We hope the jury does the right thing and convicts Zimmerman. Prosecution Finishes Closing Arguments In Zimmerman Trial According to Mail Online George Zimmerman profiled and followed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, assuming he was up to no good – these assumptions led to his death, a prosecutor argued today in closing arguments of the second-degree murder trial. ‘A teenager is dead. He is dead through no fault of his own,’ assistant state attorney Bernie de la Rionda told the jury. ‘He is dead because another man made assumptions. ‘He is dead not just because that man made those assumptions but because he acted on them, and unfortunately because his assumptions were wrong, Trayvon Benjamin Martin no longer walks on this earth.’ De la Rionda told the jury that Zimmerman wanted to be a police officer and that’s why he followed Martin through his neighborhood, even though the teen wasn’t doing anything wrong. ‘He assumed Trayvon Martin was a criminal. That is why we are here,’ de la Rionda said. ‘Defense will argue self defense. But who do you think was more scared? ‘The kid who was minding his own business being followed by another guy in an SUV. That is the person who was scared. ‘But Trayvon Martin can’t come in here and tell us how he was feeling and that is because of the actions of the defendant.’ Showing jurors the last photograph taken of Trayvon, he described him as an innocent, unarmed teen who was doing an everyday thing by going to the 7/11 to buy Skittles and a drink. In contrast, Zimmerman was painted as an angry, frustrated, wannabe cop who took the law into his own hands by targeting a teen who he believed looked suspicious. ‘What started this?’ he asked the jury. ‘Assumptions, incorrect assumptions on George Zimmerman’s behalf. ‘In George Zimmerman’s mind, Trayvon Martin was a f***ing punk and an a**hole and was NOT going to get away’ ‘This innocent 17-year-old kid was profiled as a criminal. To quote the defendant, he was one of “those a**holes that always get away”, he was one of those “f***ing punks”. ‘But he didn’t scream that out, so the defense will argue there is no ill will or hatred shown. But he muttered it under his breath, which indicates ill will because he verbalized what he was thinking. ‘That’s important, because in his mind he had already assumed certain things. Because in his mind Trayvon Martin was a f***ing punk and an a**hole and was not going to get away.’ De la Rionda referenced many different aspects of the case, different pieces of evidence, and pleaded with the jury to use ‘your God-given common sense’ and find the neighborhood watch volunteer guilty of second-degree murder. The jury has been allowed to consider a manslaughter conviction which in Florida carries a heavy sentence, but you never know what tricks the defense has up their sleeves.
Not that there is a good age for suicide, but 7th grade?? Just sad… Michigan Home School Student Commits Suicide At Former Middle School Via MLive A Dowagiac teen who shot himself in a woods near Dowagiac Middle School Monday morning has died. Dowagiac Public Safety Director Tom Atkinson identified the boy as 13-year-old Darren James Price at a news conference Monday afternoon. A school custodian spotted Price with a handgun on school grounds about 6:40 a.m., Atkinson said. He notified the principal, who tried to make contact with the teen. When Price ran into a woods near the building, the principal called police. Officers set up a perimeter around the area. Soon after that, a single gunshot was heard and the teen was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Atkinson said. Price was taken to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac where he died, Atkinson said. Atkinson said it appears Price was “acting alone.” He said the investigation is ongoing, and police are unsure if Price had plans to hurt anyone else at the school. “We may never know why this happened,” Atkinson said. Thoughts and prayers go out to Darren’s family and friends. Image via MLive Continue reading →

Good news ladies — a recent sex study of long-term relationships found that men who get lots of cuddle action and affectionate touching are happier! Time to get your spoon on! But here’s the irony, while the men in the study valued cuddling, the women put more value on their sexual satisfaction! Researchers from the Kinsey Institute in Bloomington, Ind. surveyed 1,009 heterosexual middle-aged and older couples in long-term relationships from five different countries, and found some surprising results, reports TIME. Men who reported frequently kissing or cuddling with their partners were on average three times as happy with their relationships as men who reported limited interaction. Perhaps more surprising, the study found it was sexual satisfaction that was more important to women in long-term relationships. And it also found that for women, sex got better over time — they reported significantly more sexual satisfaction after being with their partner for 15 years. “This study makes it clear our assumptions aren’t always borne out by research,” Jennifer Bass, director of communications at The Kinsey Institute told ABC News. Psychologists who were not involved in the research were intrigued by the study’s findings that men need touch and affection to be happy in relationships. Aline Zoldbrod, a psychologist in Lexington, Mass., told ABC News that touch in general is very important and, “touch from a person you love and trust is a major emotional resource and a way that people can regulate their emotions when they are upset. Couples who use touch to comfort, to compliment, and yes, to seduce and arouse, are bound to be happier.” In a press release, the study’s lead author and Director of the Kinsey Institute for Research In Sex, Gender and Reproduction, Julia Heinman noted that while we constantly hear about studies on divorce, research on lasting relationships is also important. We already know from other research that being happy in a long-term relationship has some health benefit. “Perhaps we can learn more about what makes relationships both sustainable and happy,” she said. Women in long-term relationships may become more satisfied over time because expectations change once the children are grown, said Heinman. And “those who weren’t so happy sexually might not be married so long.” The study also found that both Japanese men and women were significantly happier in their relationships than Americans, but Brazilians and the Spanish were less happy than American couples. This makes sense considering that, according to Heinman, while more than 50 percent of couples in the U.S. don’t stay in their first marriage, that number increases to about 90 percent in Spain. This study is important, co-author Michael Sand, a clinical sexologist at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, told MSNBC, because it shows that people can be in long-term relationships and still enjoy “healthy, vibrant sexuality.” This is promising news… Now go love up on your boos y’all! There is a time in every workout addict’s life when she’s gotta look in the mirror and realize that she’s gone too fucking far passed that lookin’ healthy and fit point and reached that “I wonder if she’s got a cock” point. Seriously, she’s boxy and ripped and anyone who fucks her would have to be a queer trying to climb the social ladder without actually having access to someone who can really get him where he wants to be, but figures since she’s on TV and has money she’s a good start, and the fact that she barely looks like a woman, makes it less hetero and it turns out my assumptions are right because in March of this year her boyfriend Nicholas Stefanov charged her for assault cuz she punched him in the face, something no straight guy would ever admit to the police for fear of being laughed out of the room
