Duggar Girls Post Photo From Thrift Store, Totally Filming New Show

This past weekend, some of the Duggar girls went shopping at Potter House Thrift, which raises funds for the Potter House Ministry, an organization that provides “a hope and a future to children and families in Fayetteville, Arkansas.” According to the Inquisitr , Jessa Duggar, Anna Duggar, Jana Duggar, and Joy-Anna Duggar were followed by a camera crew at the store, further proof that they are working on some sort of a reality show, whether it’s with TLC or another network. The girls posted a photo on the family’s official Facebook page with the caption, “Fun girls shopping day! #sisters.” A few weeks ago, Radar Online reported that Jana and her brother, John David took some of their younger siblings to buy lumber for a tree house at local store Ridout. “The production company from Nashville called me last week.” manager Jim Logdson told the site at the time. “It was the day before they wanted to come in and film. Then the normal camera guy for the family called me and then John David did.” This comes after the network’s general manager and executive producer told the press that their future with the stars of  9 Kids and Counting remains up in the air . “We are still considering doing more but haven’t made a decision yet,” Daniels said at the time. Gil Bates: Bringing Up Bates Dad Accused of Covering Up Sex Crimes

Last week, we reported Institute for Basic Life Principles founder Bill Gothard is being sued by five former employees who claim they were sexually harassed by Gothard during their time with the IBLP. Gothard is best known to the public as a friend and mentor of the Duggar family. Now, another close Duggar associate is being implicated in the scandal: According to Radar Online, Bringing Up Bates star Gil Bates is also being sued for allegedly helping to cover up the abuse. Bates is reportedly one of six defendants to be named in the suit for assisting Gothard with his systematic abuse of dozens of female employees over the course of several decades. Like Gothard, Bates is best known as a longtime friend of Jim Bob Duggar and a famous follower of the controversial Quiverfull movement that’s espoused by the Duggar clan. Like Jim Bob, Gil Bates is both the patriarch of a family of 19 and the star of a basic cable reality show. The Bates family’s Bringing Up Bates currently airs on UP TV. In recent months, it’s been rumored that Gil’s son Lawson Bates is “courting” Jinger Duggar  – Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 21-year-old daughter. The Duggar family has yet to respond to the accusations against Bates. Though they are not directly involved in Bates’ alleged wrongdoing, it’s certainly an unwelcome situation for a family that’s been repeatedly rocked by scandal this year. Khloe Kardashian: Did She Dump James Harden Via Text?

View Slideshow: 11 Stars Who Got Dumped Over the Phone: WE R DONE LOL This means, of course, that Khloe had to break up with boyfriend James Harden, a pesky little detail overlooked by most news outlets. According to Hollywood Life, however, Khloe did not exactly handle he Harden split so well, becoming the latest celebrity (see slideshow, above) to end a relationship over the phone. And not just over the phone… but via text message. OUCH! An anonymous insider alleges that Khloe dumped the Houston Rockets superstar by writing the words “I’m sorry” to him via text and… well… that’s it. Granted, considering all the publicity Lamar Odom’s health situation has garnered and how well-documented it has been that Khloe refuses to leave his side, Harden likely knew where things stood before Khloe even contacted him. But still. Harden and Kardashian dated for many months. You would think he’d deserve a little more respect. “He can’t stop shaking his head. It’s very comical [to him],” the source says, adding that Harden didn’t respond to Khloe’s text and that he thinks it’s all some “high school s–t happening to him.” Fortunately for James, the NBA season starts up next week and his team is one of the favorites to win the title. So he has actual rebounding to focus on for a few months as opposed to concerns of being someone else’s romantic rebound.

Bill Gothard: Duggar Church Founder Sued For Sexual Abuse

In March of 2014, Institute for Basic Life Principles founder Bill Gothard resigned in disgrace amidst allegations that he had sexually abused dozens of female employees.  Last month, after more than a year away from the public eye, Gothard – who might be best known for his close relationship to the Duggar family – relaunched his website and social media accounts, and was immediately bombarded with accusations of sexual assault . His alleged victims said it was their way of sending Gothard the message that his crimes have not been forgotten, and that they intend to see him in court. Yesterday, five of those women – Gretchen Wilkinson, Charis Barker, Rachel Frost, Rachel Lees and a Jane Doe – made good on that promise by filing a lawsuit against Gothard in which they each seek $50,000 in damages. Obviously, the suit could prove profoundly damaging for Gothard and his ministry, particularly since it may inspire more of his alleged victims (over 30 in total) to take legal action.  It may also have a negative impact on the reputation of Gothard’s most famous followers – the Duggar family. The 80-year-old pastor has been linked to the Duggars for decades and may be responsible for some of their most controversial beliefs and actions. Gothard was involved in “counseling” Josh Duggar  after the Michelle and Jim Bob’s eldest admitted to molesting his sisters. In addition, his IBLP provided the Duggars with homeschooling curricula that teaches children that victims of sexual assault are partially to blame for their attackers’ actions.  While the family is in no way directly linked to the allegations against Gothard, if a court finds that the minister used his power to “cover up sexual abuse and harassment” (as the suit alleges), the Duggars’ already-shrinking fan base may be reminded of the ways in which the 19 Kids and Counting clan did the same. Amy Duggar Marries Dillon King!

The Duggars finally have a piece of news they can celebrate. Amy Duggar – the niece of Michelle and Jim Bob and the cousin of the disgraceful Josh Duggar  – exchanged vows on Sunday with fiance Dillon King. According to various sources, the beautiful ceremony uniting the two lovebirds in holy matrimony took place in Bentonville, Arkansas. It featured girls who rang a bell while walking down the aisle, as opposed to flower girls; and the sermon took place on roller coasters. “We kept it really short and fun but still meaningful and sincere,” Amy Duggar explained to Us Weekly of the speech. It’s unclear which members of this controversial family were in attendance and it’s unclear whether Amy had saved herself for her wedding night. But she probably did. Amy and Dillon are rebels compared to the rest of the Duggars, kissing and full-frontal hugging before marriage and all, but are still traditional. The couple started dating in November 2014 and she announced her engagement to Dillon King on Instagram on Monday, July 13. And the best part of all for Amy? Aside from spending the rest of her life with the man she loves? She’ll be changing her name. thereby distancing herself from a family whose national reputation has taken quite a molesting and infidelity-based hit of late. “I’m so excited to take his last name ,” Amy said last week. “I think that’s going to be a really awesome feeling.” In more ways than one. Montel Williams Slams Duggar Family as Total "Freaks of Nature"

Montel Williams would like to make his feelings about the Duggar family known once again. Back in May, after Josh Duggar admitted to sexually abusing a number of young girls as a teenager, the talk show host slammed the former reality star as a “world class bigot” and “slimebag.” So now that Duggar has also admitted to an affair ? To an affair that he actively sought out as a client on Ashley Madison , a website that sets up husbands with potential mistresses?!? “More Duggar ‘family values,'” Williams Tweeted on the day Josh’s latest scandal broke, addig: “Josh Duggar found in Ashley Madison hack. And these freaks of nature say #lgbt folks r a moral problem?” In news broken by Gawker, the oldest Duggar son paid nearly $1,000 for two subscriptions on the cheating website between February 2013 and May 2015. According to the subscriptions – made public by a group of hackers – Duggar was seeking a woman on the website who likes to give oral sex; likes to receive oral sex; and is into sex toy experimentation. And wife Anna Duggar , apparently, does not fit these descriptions in his view. For Williams, and many other critics of Josh Duggar, the anger stems not just from his actions… but from his role as a spokesman for the Family Research Council. Josh Duggar Admits to Cheating on Wife, Porn Addiction, Being Total Hypocrite

Yesterday, the world learned that Josh Duggar used Ashley Madison , the hacked adultery website, to help him cheat on his wife, Anna Duggar. It was the latest in a long line of scandalous revelations for Duggar, coming on the heels of news that he had molested four of his sisters . That was in 2002 and 2003, though. Horrific as it was, a long time has passed since then. These current revelations, however, are recent. In addition to Ashley Madison, it appears that 27-year-old father of four Josh was on OK Cupid trolling for chicks behind Anna’s back. Josh has issued a statement in which he basically admits as much, confessing his history of infidelity … and addiction to pornography. “I have been the biggest hypocrite ever,” the former lobbyist admits. “While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the Internet.” “This became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.” “I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family.” “And, most of all, Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him. “I brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions that happened when I was 14-15 years old.” “Now I have re-broken their trust.” “The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country, I was hiding my own personal failings.” “I humbly ask for your forgiveness,” he concludes. “Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.” Wow. Just wow. Not a bad statement considering the situation, but still, nothing short of astonishing that it came to this. Anna Duggar has yet to speak on the matter, and given the strict nature of the Duggars’ religious beliefs, it is unlikely that she will file for divorce. First time for everything, though? In any case, earlier today, an insider at TLC revealed that Josh’s list of indiscretions has likely brought the Duggars’ television careers to an end . Michelle & Jim Bob Duggar to Open Up About Josh Duggar Molestation Scandal on Fox News

It’s been over a week since news of the Josh Duggar sexual abuse charges was made public, and the usually outspoken 19 Kids and Counting clan has been uncharacteristically quiet ever since. Both Josh and his parents issued public statements shortly after the accusations were revealed, but many of their fans and critics believe the responses were woefully inadequate. Josh admitted to acting “inexcusably,” but seemed more concerned with rescuing his public image than apologizing to his victims. Michelle and Jim Bob’s statement to People magazine  was regarded as similarly vague and self-serving, and many have called for the parents to be held accountable for their role in helping to bury the allegations for over a decade. Now it looks as though those critics may get their wish, as it was announced today that Michelle and Jim Bob will sit down with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly to offer their views on the scandal. In a press release issued this morning, Michelle Duggar stated that she and Jim Bob will appear on The Kelly File in order to “share our hearts with you about the pain that we walked through as a family twelve years ago, the tears we all shed and the forgiveness that was given.” Many are viewing the interview as part of a last-ditch effort by the Duggars to save the series that made their family famous. Many industry insiders have stated that they believe TLC will cancel 19 Kids and Counting , but no official announcement has been made as of yet. The first portion of Michelle and Jim Bob’s interview will air on June 3 at 9 pm, with “additional footage” filmed at the family’s Arkansas home scheduled for June 5. Chris Brown to Nia Guzman: I’ll Pay For Royalty … Not For YOU!

Chris Brown has some serious baby mama drama. Nia Guzman is apparently hitting Brown up for more child support for their daughter, Royalty. Brown and Guzman seemed to have a mostly amicable relationship for a while.  But when Guzman asked for more child support money, Chris Brown wasn’t entirely pleased. Chris doesn’t have a problem giving more money for Royalty.  But he is concerned the extra money will fund Nia and her boyfriend. So Chris thinks it is time Nia gets a j.o.b. An insider told Hollywood Life that “[Chris] knows that she has bills to pay out there in Texas and that’s why he sends her money even when Royalty’s with him.” “What he’s not going to do,” the source continued, “is send his hard earned money to Nia so she can buy clothes and take care of her lazy boyfriend!” Chris was giving Nia $2,500 a month in March.  But apparently, Nia demanded more—$13,000 more a month.  As in $15,000 a month instead! Since her request, Chris and Nia have been battling it out. “Chris doesn’t feel like he needs to give Nia every cent of the $2,500 when Royalty’s with him and [his mother],” a source said.  “To him, that doesn’t make sense. If Chris has her for a month or so, there’s no need to give Nia all that money.” For all of Chris Brown’s many, many flaws, he seems to be a good father.  For the past two months, he has been spending “virtually all his time with Royalty,” a source said. He even brought her to the Billboard Music Awards. It doesn’t sound like Chris is paying up the extra money to Nia yet.  But he does sound willing to give extra money if it goes toward raising Royalty. But Chris wants Nia to pitch in with “a regular, steady income,” sources claimed. Really, this doesn’t sound unreasonable. Surprisingly, Chris Brown has made some decent decisions as of late.   Chris Brown and Tyson Beckford were fighting over Karrueche Tran, but the two have cooled things down. After Tyson and Chris exchanged some heated tweets and photos, Chris took ahold of the situation with an apology. “No drama!” Chris tweeted. “People are really starting to make this s—t an issue. Josh Duggar: Which Sisters Were His Victims? Are Any Still Minors?

Shortly after news of the Josh Duggar sexual assault scandal went public, the Duggar family and their handlers immediately took action to have any record of a 2006 police investigation destroyed. They may not have moved quickly enough, however, as the reports that were already leaked contained shocking  accusations of child abuse against Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar . In even worse news for the 19 Kids and Counting clan, several outlets are now claiming that the reason authorities agreed to expunge the record of abuse was that “one of the alleged victims” still lives under the full legal care of her parents. It’s possible (though highly unlikely) that the family has managed to retain some measure of legal authority over unmarried twenty-somethings Jana and Jinger Duggar. The more likely explanation, however, is that 17-year-old Joy-Anna was one of Josh’s victims. She would have been four or five years old at the time of the alleged incidents. Josh has admitted to “inexcusable” actions in a public statement, but he did not go into specifics about his crimes. Many Duggar devotees have presumed that Josh and his victims were somewhat close in age (not that that makes his actions any less reprehensible). Will the revelation that one of his victims may have been a decade younger than him have any influence on fan loyalty or TLC’s decision to cancel 19 Kids and Counting ?
