Patton Oswalt may never get over the passing of his wife … … And quite frankly, we might not ever get over Oswalt not ever getting over his wife’s death. In a new interview, Oswalt broke his silence about his wife, Michelle McNamara’s, death , and the details about her passing are extremely upsetting. Patton told The NY Times that he’ll “never be 100% again,” and that his suspicions of his wife’s death are mostly directed toward an overdose. Though the coroner has not yet revealed the official cause of death, Patton believes his wife did, indeed, die of a drug overdose. “I have a feeling it might have been an overdose,” he said, and claimed that McNamara had taken Xanax before going to bed. “That’s what the paramedics there were saying while I was screaming and throwing up.” Are you screaming and throwing up yet, or just crying, like us? Oswalt said that at 9:40 AM the next day, he left a cup of coffee on his wife’s nightstand, as she was still asleep and lightly snoring. He claimed he returned to the room just before 1 PM, and found McNamara unresponsive , and after he called 911, said that paramedics pronounced her dead when they arrived. Oswalt said that he was so emotionally and mentally distraught, that he thought he was dreaming. “I was literally blinking, trying to get out of this,” he said. The worst was yet to come, however: telling his daughter, Alice. Oswalt admitted that he’d turned to drinking in the months since his wife’s passing. “I found out the hard way these past few months that alcohol really doesn’t help,” he admitted. “Depression is more seductive,” he said. “Its tool is: ‘Wouldn’t it be way more comfortable to stay inside and not deal with people?’ ” he asked. “Grief is an attack on life,” Patton continued. “It’s not a seducer. It’s an ambush or worse.” “It stands right out there and says ‘The minute you try something, I’m waiting for you.’ ” If that isn’t completely heartbreaking and day-ruining – life ruining, in Patton’s case – then we don’t really know what is. Hey, look, everybody, it’s a really positive, happy story about Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra from Teen Mom OG! … Nah, just kidding, it’s terrible and tragic and awful. Seriously, don’t even bother ever expecting anything nice from these people. You’ll only end up disappointed . So Catelynn and Tyler are Teen Mom’s longest-lasting couple by far — they’ve been together since they were 12 years old. Surely one of the reasons their relationship has lasted so long is because when Catelynn wound up pregnant when they were 16, they placed their daughter, Carly, up for adoption. Welcoming a new baby is hard for adults, but try to give a newborn to a couple of teenagers? No wonder they’re literally the only couple to be 16 & Pregnant & Still Together. But obviously placing Carly for adoption didn’t automatically free Catelynn and Tyler from any drama. Far from it. Carly’s adoptive parents , Brandon and Theresa, have always been very kind and accommodating to Catelynn and Tyler, but they’ve also always been very hesitant to allow their daughter, or even their daughter’s face, to be shown on television. Tyler in particular has had a hard time dealing with this. In an episode earlier this season , they received news that Brandon and Theresa didn’t want them to talk about Carly so much on the show, and Tyler absolutely flipped out. Tyler Baltierra Lashes Out at Carly’s Parents “It just doesn’t make any sense to me to be told what to say and what not to say,” he said. “I don’t want to live my life like that! I can’t!” “If they say ‘We don’t want you talking about the adoption at all on TV,’ ohohoho, then we’re going to have lots of issues,” he exclaimed. “That’s all I’m saying.” Tyler even said that he’d continue talking about Carly even at the risk of Brandon and Theresa cutting off contact between them. “My reasoning,” he explained, “is because I have sacrificed enough for you to have a family and that’s fine. I’ve come to terns with that and all that’s great.” “But I will not sacrifice my voice and what I think and what I can and cannot talk about on my daily life and my personal life — cameras or no cameras.” All this is a real good example of learning how to choose your battles — is it really more important for Tyler to talk about Carly on TV than it is to talk to her? — and that’s being proven in this brand new sneak peek for next week’s episode. Catelynn and Tyler Receive Bad News About Carly In the clip, Catelynn and Tyler meet with their adoption counselor to talk about how Brandon and Theresa haven’t been responding to their texts. Uh oh. The counselor said that she’d been in touch with Theresa, and she felt it was important to go over the paperwork they’d signed for the adoption. She said that they’d all agreed on an open adoption, and that Catelynn and Tyler had indicated that they didn’t want to have any face-to-face visits, but that there was an option for them to request a meeting with Carly at her parents’ discretion. Catelynn started breaking down at this point, asking “Are we done having visits with Carly forever? Until se’s 18 I’ll hear nothing from her?” “It is f-cking frustrating,” she said through tears, “because I was 16 years old when I made this decision.” It sounds like a tough position to be in, but honestly it also sounds like a decision they’ve put themselves in. Hopefully they’re able to work things out with Brandon and Theresa soon … we sincerely just cannot take more Catelynn and Tyler sadness .
Racists Get The Wrong Brandon Marshall The NFL has two Brandon Marshalls. One plays for the Broncos and one plays for the Jets. The Marshall that played for the Broncos decided to join the National Anthem protest by taking a knee during the song. This makes “patriots” and racists mad. So mad that they flooded Marshall’s mentions. One problem. They targeted the wrong Black man. Maybe they should all be cops. Whoops. Brandon Marshall Doesn’t Think Race Is A Factor In Public’s Dislike Of Cam Newton As the 50th Super Bowl fast approaches there will be continued talk about lightning rod “quarterblack” Cam Newton and how his flamboyant personality and bravado rub (white) people the wrong way. Much of the talk surrounds the color of Cam’s skin, but New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall doesn’t seem to think race is a real issue. According to his comments on the Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore , he thinks it’s about something else… “It’s a generational thing and I just stick to that,” Marshall said on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. “I don’t think it’s racial. I just think that there’s a box that we put our quarterbacks in and we say, ‘This is how you’re supposed to be. This is how Peyton Manning did it, this is how Joe Montana did it, Tom Brady, so you do it the same way.’” Not sure how Brandon can ignore the racial component of the thing, but he seems to admire Cam for using his voice: “I commend him because back in the day our athletes and entertainers used to be civil rights leaders. They used to speak up,” Marshall said. “But now, the business has taken over. You have these brands like Under Armour, Nike and Beats by Dre and the yogurt thing (Dannon) that he endorsed. They come in, they tell you, ‘you know what, just be a good boy, shut your mouth and collect your check.’” “I am one of those guys that, if I have an opinion I’m going to to say it. I guess that’s why I’m on my fourth team,” Marshall added, with a smile. Another topic often broached when talking about why Cam Newton isn’t liked is his infamous dab touchdown dance. Brandon seems to have a hard time making up his mind about that part… “I don’t want my quarterback dancing,” Marshall said. “I’m from the old school…I want my quarterbacks to get back in the huddle and lead us.” But then he turned right back around and complimented Newton. “But what we have to understand is this is the new generation. This is what they’re doing next. They’re disruptive, they’re disrespectful, they don’t give a damn about any one, and I kind of like it,” Marshall said. “Go back to when he was a rookie and he said, ‘I want to be an icon.’ You want to be an icon, you can’t stay in the box, you have to get out of the box, you have to be disruptive.” Based on these responses, we’re not sure if Brandon really rocks with Cam or not, but we can definitely say that race plays at least SOME factor in why people aren’t quick in embrace Cam. Florida Woman Arrested For Robbing Three Banks In 30 Minutes Three bank robberies in 30 minutes? That’s what a 50-year-old woman is accused of after three armed robberies were reported Monday afternoon in the Brandon area. Via WTSP : Cindy Carabeo of Valrico is charged with three counts of armed bank robbery. These are the suspected robberies. In each case she presented a written note claiming to have a firearm and demanding cash, which she got before fleeing: — At 3:19 p.m., the BB&T Bank, 655 Brandon Blvd. — At 3:35 p.m., the Wells Fargo Bank, 204 S. Kings Ave. — At 3:43 p.m., the Florida Central Credit Union, 334 Oakfield Drive. Detectives collected information to identify the tag number registered to a four-door, 2004 Suzuki owned by Carabeo, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. She then pulled into her apartment complex as several deputies, a K9 deputy and detectives were searching the area. She was immediately apprehended. Welcome to Florida!
Earlier today, we reported that Joe Giudice is cheating on his incarcerated wife with a much younger woman. At the time, the name of the 27-year-old strip club employee was unknown, but now, Radar Online has discovered the identity of Giudice’s mistress . Apparently, Samary Graulau is a bartender and shot girl at a New Jersey “gentlemen’s club.” As you can see, Graulau is a fan of selfies, and she reportedly has a history of dating older, well-off men. So it’s not exactly clear what she sees in Juicy Joe, as while he’s certainly older (42), he’s also unemployed and broke . But hey, maybe Graulau is just drawn to the glamorous life of an ex-Bravo reality star with a wife behind bars and four kids to support. In any event sources say the two were spotted getting very close during a romantic night on the town in Newark recently: “Teresa should be upset,” one onlooker said. “You can tell if someone is just a friend, but it wasn’t like that. They had chemistry. They were a couple.” We’d be careful, if we were Samary. Teresa will be out in a few months, and she’s probably picked up some tricks. We’re sure Ms. Graulau wouldn’t be the first Jersey strip club employee to be killed by a sharpened toothbrush handle to the jugular.
