Cheyenne Floyd & Cory Wharton: Dating, Engaged, or Just Friends With Benefits?

Prior to the start of the latest season of Teen Mom OG , MTV announced the addition of two new cast members — Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd.  Thanks to her famous last name, most of the buzz surrounded Bristol, but in the end, it was Cheyenne and her unique story that really connected with viewers. Early complaints that Floyd had never technically been a teen mom evaporated as fans became engrossed in her trials and travails. Though no stranger to reality TV, Cheyenne was not a celebrity on par with the other moms, and as a result, viewers found it easy to relate to storylines involving her daughter's health issues and her relationship to Cory Wharton. Of course, the season ended on something of a cliffhanger, as the nature of Cheyenne and Cory's relationship remained uncertain. Now, Ryder's parents are clearing the air — but some fans are still more than a little confused. Here's what we know so far: 1. Happy Family? For the most part, Cheyenne Floyd and Cory Wharton seem to enjoy a very healthy co-parenting relationship. But are they more than just friends? 2. Making It Work Cheyenne and Cory have always put their daughter’s needs ahead of their own. Their natural chemistry and the ease with which they seem to get along has raised questions about their relationship. 3. Cheyenne, Cory, Ryder Cheyenne and Cory kept their relationship status a mystery throughout their first season on Teen Mom OG. Despite that, they quickly became fan favorites and the definition of #CoparentingGoals. 4. Through the Loop “We were about 90% sure it was his,” Cory said of Cheyenne’s boyfriend at the time. “Got tested, and it comes back zero. So, everyone got thrown through the loop.” 5. The Results Ryder was about six months old before it was determined that Cory was her father, and Wharton has reportedly devoted himself to being there for his daughter ever since. 6. Lindsey Nicholson to Appear on Teen Mom 2: Is She Replacing a Fired Cast Member?

If you’re a longtime fan of the Teen Mom franchise, you may remember the name Lindsey Nicholson. Lyndsey was a fan favorite on 16 and Pregnant , but she was passed over for the majors and never made the leap to Teen Mom fame. Prior to the casting of Briana DeJesus , MTV and Viacom reached out to several former 16 and Pregnant stars. When they reached their final decision, Lindsey and others, like Mackenzie McKee were left to assume they didn’t get the gig. Now that the network went outside of the franchise to cast Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd on Teen Mom OG , it looks like Lindsey will never get a chance to return to the series full-time. She is, however, scheduled to make an appearance on Teen Mom 2 this season. Lindsey has remained friends with Kailyn Lowry, and she was on hand for the launch of Lowry’s Pothead haircare line last week. In a recent interview with Radar Online, Lindsey confirmed that the event was filmed for the show. “We were all there,” she said of Lowry’s Pothead hair care in NYC. “It was mostly following up on something they’re going to put in Kail’s season.” The news that Lindsey was once again filming with MTV led to rumors that she would be returning to the franchise, possibly to replace a departing TM2 cast member. That’s not the case, however, which is a shame — as Lindsey has quite a story to tell. Nicholson gave birth to twins Jackson and Paisley when she was just 29 weeks pregnant, and the boys spent several weeks in the NICU. “No one talks about it,” she told Radar. “It is so hard. My goal in the next few years … I would love to be able to go and speak and share our story. “I was one of the girls they reached out to,” Nicholson explains of her experience with almost getting cast in TM2. “When they called we weren’t even pregnant. I was working at a dentist office. My life was so boring.  According to Lindsey, passing her over is the network’s loss. “But they missed out everything we went through with the twins,” she says. Bristol Palin Gets Roasted on Instagram, Attempts to Fight Back

So far the casting of Bristol Palin on Teen Mom OG isn’t working out for anyone involved. Bristol gets paid more than any of the other cast members, and her fame was supposed to help to increase the show’s ratings. That didn’t happen. In fact, as Starcasm reports, ratings for the long-running series have been steadily declining since it returned to the airwaves in March of 2015. (The show was on hiatus from 2012 to 2015 due to Amber Portwood’s imprisonment , and it never quite recovered.) At its peak, TMOG pulled in over 3.5 million viewers an episode. These days, it draws an audience of less than a million. Part of the problem is that the show’s resident villain, Farrah Abraham, was fired before the start of this season, creating a serious drama vacuum. Producers attempted to fill the void by adding new cast members Bristol and Cheyenne Floyd, but thus far, viewers aren’t taking the bait. The reaction to Bristol, in particular, has ranged from apathetic to vitriolic, as fans attempt to puzzle out why a member of one of America’s most reviled political families has been shoehorned into an otherwise apolitical reality show. By any measure, the Bristol experiment has failed, and it seems that Palin is taking all the criticism from fans to heart: And Bristol used a painfully lame defense when responding to a fan who maligned her during the airing of Monday night’s new episode. “[MTV] you really need to take [Bristol] off Teen Mom OG,” the angry viewer wrote on Instagram. “This chick is soooo damn ditzy and dum. Why is she so worried about her sons money if it’s for his trust fund for college?!?! “He’s not going anytime soon!!!!” “dumb.. if you’re going to criticize me, at least be grammatically correct,” Bristol replied. Okay — she’s certainly correct in her assertion that there are some grammatical and spelling errors in that post, but it’s not like the fan didn’t get her message across. And resorting to criticizing your opponent’s grammar is generally a good sign that you’re lacking a decent counterargument. Oh, and it took us about 4 seconds of scrolling through Bristol’s socials to find some egregious assaults on grammar and syntax, so she probably shouldn’t continue to go there with fans. As for what the future holds for Bristol — that’s anyone’s guess. The exact terms of her contract are a mystery, but it’s hard to believe she’ll be back for another season at her current salary. The Voice Recap: Did Adam Levine Address the Elephant in the Room?

Adam Levine found himself in the hot seat on Monday night.  The longtime coach on The Voice felt the ire of the internet last week when he urged viewers to vote to save Reagan Strange, despite her not being well enough to perform in the sing-off.  In the process, he threw his other act, DeAndre Nico, under the bus, and everyone seemed mad at him.  Last week “was a strange week, but it’s over now,” Adam said to Reagan. “DeAndre’s my boy. I love him. We talked. It’s all good.” Viewers later got to witness a video call between DeAndre and Reagan later in the night; the former had nothing but praise for his 14-year-old former teammate.  “Do your best, man,” DeAndre said, “and stay positive.” It’s classy for DeAndre to throw some support Reagan’s way, especially when you consider the backlash to this whole thing that could have been avoided.  If you thought Adam was ready to say anything else about it, you were wrong. Carson Daly seemingly decided against asking him much about the performers.  As for Reagan Strange’s big performance? It was meh.  The youngster went with Calum Scott’s “You Are the Reason,” and while the youngster has proven to have a solid voice, this was not the best song for her.  It was just all over the place, and her nerves were also to blame. By this stage of the game, you should be acclimated with performing live.  It makes sense that viewers wanted Reagan gone for that reason, but it remains to be seen whether Tuesday will be her big goodbye.  The best performance of the night was Kennedy Holmes and her rendition of “This Is Me.” She pulled out all the stops to ensure this Greatest Showman song was performed perfectly. She even put her own spin on it, to boot.  Whether viewers will vote for her is another story because, well, the viewer vote is never a sign of quality.  As for the worst performance of the night? That honor goes to Sarah Grace who went with “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles.  There wasn’t anything remotely likable about this number. From shaky vocals to awkward moves, there was something off about the rendition from the get-go.  The true test will be whether she winds up in the bottom three, which could really go either way.  Who did you like best on the night?  Did Adam Levine make a mistake? Teen Mom OG Recap: Catelynn Cries, Bristol Begs

On Teen Mom OG this week… … Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer went at it once again, arguing over their relationship and its affect on their kids. … Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra inched closer to their unusual and controversial trial separation. … Amber Portwood snapped at Andrew Glennon, just like old times. … Cheyenne Floyd and Cory Wharton stirred up even more drama as they grapple with their romantic future. … Oh, and Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney were totally fine and normal. Ready for a recap of the dramatic events? Scroll down and let's do this! 1. The Ballad of Bristol and Dakota We’ll start with the most dysfunctional (former) couple of all, as Palin called her ex-husband this week because she hoped they could be “”adults about the situation,” considering three kids were at the center of it. 2. Can We Just Move On, Please? “I know there’s been a lot of hurt and a lot of pettiness on both of our behalfs,” Bristol told Dakota over the phone. “I want to get off on a different foot so we can work together for our girls.” 3. Not Like This, We Can’t Meyer, who did sign up to appear on a reality TV show, didn’t appreciate Brisol reaching out as part of an episode. “Pick up the phone, text me when there’s not cameras around,” he shot back. “Show me that you’re gonna have genuine intentions and it ain’t just for the show to start some drama.” 4. dakota v. bristol Bristol replied she wanted to do it on camera so they’d have “a level of accountability,” which is pretty lame and dumb and untrue, before Meyer agreed to meet up with her to talk about things further. (But not on this episode.) 5. How Was I Ever Married to Her?!? After the call, Meyer vented to a producer as follows: “Bristol’s like a kid. She’s more worried about the court of public opinion than getting in there and let’s be parents to the kids. That’s what the show has done to her. She’s more focused on the show and her image than she is about the best interest of the kids. The kids are fine, this is the pettiness that I have to look forward to forever.” 6. Bristol Palin Sends Prayers to Alaska in Wake of Devastating Earthquake

Bristol Palin has taken a break from slamming her ex-husband in order to send a message of support to everyone in Alaska. On Friday morning, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake his Palin’s native state of Alaska, damaging highways, shaking buildings and focusing its power about eight miles north of Anchorage, the most populous city in the region. Governor Bill Walker issued a disaster declaration in response, while the Anchorage Police Department said the following in an official statement: “There is major infrastructure damage across Anchorage. Many homes and buildings are damaged. Many roads and bridges are closed.” As of this writing, no deaths have been reported. Thank goodness. Bristol, of course, hails from Wasilla, Alaska. However, she lives in Austin, Texas and was not around her friends, family members or loved ones up north when this natural diaster struck. But Palin says she was with them in spirit. And they are very much on her mind at the moment. “Just sick I’m not in Alaska to help my family and friends with the aftermath of the massive earthquake they had this morning, sending all the prayers to everyone affected,” she wrote on social media shortly after news of the incident went public. The Palin family resident is about 44 miles northeast of Anchorage and the compound was damaged during the earthquake. Such damage was confirmed by Bristol’s famous mother, former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. “Our family is intact – house is not… I imagine that’s the case for many, many others,” the former Alaska Governor wrote via Twitter, adding: “So thankful to be safe; praying for our state following the earthquake.” Elsewhere, Bristol’s younger sister, Willow, was left in shock and in pretty bad shape after the sort of frightening experience you must deal with first hand to fully comprehend. “Our house is a mess but our family is safe, very shook up! That was the scariest couple minutes of my life,” she wrote to followers. Bristol was out of the spotlight for many years, but has now joined the cast of Teen Mom OG on MTV. Not only had she joined it, but Palin has been at the forefront of nearly every episode, as viewers have watched her marriage to Dakota Meyer fall apart before their very eyes. Bristol Palin to Sister Willow: I Hate Your Ass & Always Have!!

Given that  Bristol Palin thinks that teen moms should be cut off by their families as punishment, plenty of people wouldn’t want to spend time with her. But it’s a bit of a surprise to hear that her own sister can’t stand her. And apparently, when it comes to Bristol and Willow, the feeling of animosity is mutual. RadarOnline reports that Willow Palin has basically given up hope that she’ll ever have a real relationship with big sister Bristol Palin. “Willow is so beaten down by her siblings,” an insider close to the 24-year-old Palin daughter admits. The source goes on to say that Willow feels that “especially Bristol” has kept her down. Willow, per the insider, has reached the point “that she doesn’t even expect anything anymore” in terms of a sibling relationship with Bristol. It sounds like this isn’t a new development by any stretch of the imagination. This dysfunctional dynamic between the sisters has been going on for years. “Bristol and Willow have a really weird past,” the source continues. The insider even goes as far as to say that: “Bristol never really cared for Willow.” That’s a major claim about a pair of siblings, but the report contains a somewhat specific example of how that alleged disinterest manifested. “She’d take Willow to parties with her,” the source says. “And then,” the insider continues. “Bristol would completely not take care of her or keep an eye on her.” That’s not just lazy — that can be dangerous. Their quiet conflict became more pronounced earlier this year. Willow got married to Ricky Bailey. Bristol was invited — in fact, she was supposed to be a bridesmaid. Instead, Bristol ditched the wedding , blowing off the family event entirely. Her issue was that Willow had invited Track Palin, their “troubled” brother, to the ceremony. Ultimately, Track couldn’t make it, either, because he got himself arrested for domestic battery … again. Willow and Bristol’s contentious relationship has even become apparent on Teen Mom OG . It has been weeks since Willow has appeared on the show. In the mean time, viewers have seen Bristol’s divorce from Dakota Meyer. They’ve seen her 17-year-old sister, Piper Palin. Teen Mom fans have seen the nightmare goblin of the frozen north herself, Sarah Palin. Willow’s absence hasn’t gone unnoticed, and it gives off the appearance that the sisters can’t even stand to appear on camera together. It sounds like Bristol was not the best older sister to Willow. That isn’t exactly a surprise — Bristol, from her blogging and her public statements, has made it clear that she’s not the best person , period. But, as much as we hate to say it, we might be Team Bristol in this feud. (Seriously, we never expected to write that in any context) First of all, it looks like Willow happily shares all of Bristol’s worst political views, so nobody has a leg up on the other in terms of basic decency. And then there’s their disagreement over Track. Track Palin has a history of domestic violence arrests , and there’s nothing funny about that. Willow might feel some misplaced sense of loyalty to her brother simply because they happen to share some genes. Bristol boycotted her sister’s wedding because Willow had invited a known domestic abuser. That’s a courageous move on Bristol’s part, and you have no idea how much it pains me to write those words. Maybe Willow should reserve her loyalty for those who deserve it. And maybe Bristol — and Teen Mom OG — are better off without Willow just as they’re better off without Track. Woman Claims She’s Engaged To A Ghost After Having Sex With 20 Paranormal Peens It’s Halloween and there’s no shortage of strange stories about white folks circulating on the internet. That said, one English woman is going viral after she claims to have had sex with 20 ghosts. She also says she’s now engaged to an apparition that hit it right. From Huffington Post : “Amethyst Realm, 30, of Bristol, says she has had sex with at least 20 ghosts since she was a teenager but wasn’t looking for a new relationship when she went to Australia on a business trip.  However, she says that changed on a nature hike when she came into contact with an apparition and felt sparks like none she’s ever known.” “Realm didn’t think it could amount to anything serious because she says spirits tend to stay in one place, but something amazing happened on her flight home: She felt the presence of her lover on the plane, and apparently not stowed in cargo.” She told  The Sun:   ‘ ‘ I couldn’t believe it. I was happy and excited — so excited that we had to do something about it. So we headed to the plane loo,’ And, well, I am now a member of the Mile High Club.” Nine months later, Realm says he popped the question and she’s ready to have cute Casper babies. So how did it all happen? Well, she at least didn’t claim to have seen him. She told The NY Post : “There was no going down on one knee — he doesn’t have knees. But for the first time, I heard him speak. I could actually hear his voice, and it was beautiful. Deep, sexy and real.” Realm is reportedly counting on Casper to eventually pick out her engagement ring. She then plans to do a Pagan “handfasting” ceremony, “i n which their hands are tied together, symbolizing their connection,” she said. “It’ll be somewhere in the English countryside. We haven’t discussed the details yet, but I think it will be quite a big do.”  Will she get along with her phantom in-laws?
