Khloe Kardashian Goes Into Labor After Tristan’s Cheating Scandal Breaks

On the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians , Kylie Jenner gave birth . It took more than seven months for that to air. Viewers knew that it was only a matter of time before the show reached Khloe and her much more controversial childbirth. In this preview video, you can see Kim, Khloe, and the rest of her family react as Khloe goes into labor … and Tristan's cheating scandal is exposed. In the Keeping Up With The Kardashians preview teaser video that we have for you, the show teases what remains to be seen on this season. When it really becomes interesting is when, very clearly, the story of Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal breaks. “They have another video of him,” Kim can be heard saying into her phone. She is clearly referring to Tristan Thompson and the evidence of him being with other women during Khloe's pregnancy. “Unfollowed, I hate him,” Kim announces in another part of the clip. “Sorry, not sorry.” Kim's reaction was one thing, but what everyone wants to see is how Khloe responded to the news that her love and baby daddy is a no-good dirty cheater. As we all know, it was a matter of hours after that scandal broke that Khloe went into labor with baby True. “The things I can control, I have to be able to control,” Khloe can be heard saying. That is a fairly grounded response to such explosive news — though of course we can imagine that some responses may have been edited out. Khloe does, after all, have veto power over footage from the show. She gets an ultrasound while very pregnant, and also is shown going into labor while her family races to get to where she is in Cleveland. “I hope everyone gets here in time,” Khloe says. You can also see a van full of her family members racing towards her. As widely reported as Tristan's scandal was and True's birth was, we never really got a behind-the-scenes look or Khloe's reaction immediately afterwards. We hope that, despite Khloe's editorial powers, we get to see her raw reaction. Fans are curious. It's human nature. We'll definitely get to see at least some of the responses, from anger to disbelief, of Khloe's extended family. We wonder what Tristan will think. Arguably the second-most-interesting storyline in this teaser is Kim using her platform for civil rights advocacy. The story of a woman using her fame and beauty to influence a terrible old orange man to pardon a grandmother is definitely compelling. Speaking of Trump, Kim also addresses Kanye West's worrisome bad behavior and outlandish statements. In this case, it looks like fans can expect to see more or less the same sentiments that she has expressed publicly. She believes that Kanye's apparently uncontrolled, no-filter declarations about Trump and “dragon energy” aren't signs of mental illness. Kim may be right. If she is, Kanye isn't mentally troubled — he may just be a bad person. And it is of course unfair to malign the mentally ill, many of whom are good people, by confusing bad behavior with mental health. Viewers will also get to see things like Kendall, who is famously anxious, try skydiving for the first time. Also, Kris falls down playing baseball. Honestly? That could all be entertaining, but it's just filler. Khloe's heartbreak, Kim's activism, and Kanye's nonsense look like the real meat of the rest of the season.

Jenelle Evans: Did She STEAL A DOG In the Aftermath of Hurricane Florence?!

Thankfully, the impact of Hurricane Florence on the Carolinas wasn't as disastrous as some meteorologists predicted, but the storm still devastated many areas along the Carolina coast. To the shock of many Teen Mom 2 fans, Jenelle Evans refused to evacuate ahead of Florence, but fortunately, her neighborhood avoided the brunt of the hurricane's impact. But at this point, Jenelle is probably still wishing she had gotten out of Dodge for a few days, as her conduct in the wake of the storm is being heavily scrutinized these days. And the latest accusation against her is so bizarre that we would never believe it — were it not for the fact that this is Jenelle Evans we're talking about … 1. It’s a Hurricane, Dude! Jenelle refused to heed the advice of experts, local authorities, and hundreds of fans, all of whom encouraged her to head for safer territory as Florence prepared to make landfall. 2. Braving the Storm Jenelle and her family stuck it out through the storm, all the while posting pics of their relatively unaffected area, seemingly as a middle finger to the haters. 3. The Aftermath Eventually, Jenelle came to realize that even though her beloved “Land” survived unscathed, the hurricane was no laughing matter for many of her neighbors. 4. Helping or Hurting? In the wake of the hurricane, Jenelle’s behavior has been intensely scrutinized, as she’s claimed that she and her husband are helping their neighborhoods, despite not offering any evidence to that effect. 5. Classic Jenelle Despite revealing that she and her family quickly ran out of food and gas, Jenelle has also downplayed her area’s plight by using a “#whathurricane?” hashtag and boasting, “With this storm I’m getting skinner [sic], y’all.” 6. Here We Go … Now, she’s facing some truly bizarre allegations. And as usual, she’s keeping a low profile and hoping this whole thing (no pun intended) blows over … View Slideshow

Jenna Cooper: Inside Her Bachelor in Paradise Cheating Scandal

It's the Bachelor in Paradise scandal no one saw coming. On the Season 5 finale of this ABC reality series, Jordan Kimball got down on one knee and proposed to Jenna Cooper… and she said yes! Hooray, right?!? Not so fast. Around the same exact time this proposal aired, a handful of text messages went viral that Bachelor guru Reality Steve alleges were sent back and forth between Jenna and her actual boyfriend/lover this summer. It certainly appears as if Cooper was sleeping with someone else while she was being wooed by Jordan on the aforementioned series. What is actually going on here? And s there any chance Jordan and Jenna still walk down the aisle next year? Scroll down to get caught up… 1. What a Perfect Looking Couple Ah, yes, but looks can deceive. This is the most recent photo Jenna shared of herself and Jordan on Instagram prior to the cheating bombshell getting dropped online. 2. The Proposal Jordan asked for Jenna’s hand to wrap up Season 5 and the two then asked Chris Harrison to officiate their wedding in June of 2019. 3. The Wedding Would Have Been Televised, Too They announced on the finale that the date would be June 9, 2019 and Cooper said the following about the planned union to People Magazine: “I want our wedding to be extra and fun, just like our personalities. There will be some performances, some outfit changes.” 4. But Now? YIKES! It’s hard to believe the reality stars make it down the aisle, not when an unnamed person contacted Reality Steve and claimed to have been in a relationship nearly this whole time with Jenna. 5. Why Did This Man Come Forward? “Jenna is a manipulator. She manipulated me. She manipulates the other guys she ‘networks’ with and is apparently manipulating this Jordan guy,” he told Reality Steve, explaining that he met Jenna prior to Bachelor in Paradise filming and was still with her two days before the finale aired. 6. More Jenna Bashing: Added this individual of Cooper: “She uses men for money and business help and loves the attention along the way. And she just loves to rub in your face that she’s pretty and everyone wants her and how she can easily move onto the next. I’m tired of the bullshit and am calling her out.” View Slideshow

Jenelle Evans to Hurricane Florence: Bring It On, Bish!

As you've no doubt heard by now, Hurricane Florence is due to make landfall early Friday morning. Meteorologists expect the storm to hit the Carolinas at category 4 magnitude, bringing with it devastating storm surges and 140 MPH winds. For obvious reasons, those living near the coast have been cautioned to evacuate. Sadly, some are forced to stay put for medical or other reasons. Then there are those who foolishly look at natural disasters as opportunities to put their badass survival skills to the test and inevitably end up begging for help from the same government organizations who implored them to head for safer territory. Guess which category Jenelle Evans falls into. Jump into the gallery below for the stirring saga that is Jenelle vs. Florence … 1. Jenelle Evans Hearts Hurricanes Jenelle posted this photo as the Carolinas brace for Hurricane Florence. She captioned the pic “#NewProfilePic #HurricaneFlorence #PrayForNC #PrayForSC” Good to see she has her priorities straight, 2. Give Us the Prayers, Dude! Despite being wealthy and not having a full-time job, Jenelle Evans doesn’t want to take the basic steps to ensure her family’s safety. She does want you to pray for her, though. 3. Sympathy For the Devil Yes, Jenelle won’t lift a finger to improve her situation, but she’s been posting tweets like this one to ensure her fans remain deeply worried about her well-being. 4. Be Concerned … But Not TOO Concerned Jenelle wants the best of both worlds. She wants the attention that comes with being in harm’s way, but if anyone advises her to save herself, she’s quick to assure them there’s no cause for alarm. 5. Jenelle-splaining When fans started to get serious and warn Jenelle to get the hell out of Dodge, she became irate, which is her response to literally every situation. 6. Angry Evans “I do not live in the evacuation zone or a flood area,” Jenelle tweeted. “Not sure what county you think I live in.” View Slideshow

Sh*t Is Real In The South: 17 Killed As Storms Rip Across Georgia, Alabama, And Mississippi!!

A band of fast-moving storms brought reports of more than one hundred possible tornadoes across the South on Saturday, toppling trees, snapping power lines and bringing the two-day death toll to 17. Emergency crews in Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama worked to assess the damage as the storm system moved north into the Carolinas and southern Virginia, according to the National Weather Service. Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley declared a state of emergency Friday after reports of tornado touchdowns in at least six counties. Three people were also killed in Autauga County after fallen trees crashed into mobile homes in the area, police said. Some of the death toll reads as follows: Three deaths in Washington County were reported, said Yasamie August, spokeswoman for the Alabama Emergency Management Agency. Two other deaths were previously reported in Oklahoma and seven in Arkansas. In Greene County, Mississippi, one death and six injuries were reported, officials said. And if that wasn’t bad enough… Rescue crews found a 34-year-old woman in bed with her 7-year-old, whom she had apparently come to comfort during the overnight storm, said Little Rock Fire Department Capt. Randy Davenport. The two were killed when a giant oak tree fell on the home, Davenport said. An 18-month-old child in another bedroom survived. Source

Science and the Spill

Hello Currenters! The Science Group is dedicating this month to the BP spill; all featured stories will be about the oil and other contaminants that continue to spew into the Gulf, what scientists predict, what they are learning and what efforts are being considered and implemented to stop it. These particular stories are less about political opinions and more about facts and the ecological ramifications of the spill. If you have stories like this, please post them into the Science Group ( http://current.com/science/ ) and EthicalVegan's new group, BP Catastrophe ( http://current.com/groups/bp-catastrophe/ ) Here are a few examples of the stories we have right now: Just the Facts: Livescience takes a look at the most common questions related to the spill, ( http://bit.ly/9C7gk2 ), NYTimes tracks the spill with interactive maps ( http://bit.ly/cShkGz ) and EthicalVegan has an ongoing collection of photos from the area ( http://bit.ly/a2ds28 ) Pollution vs Pollution: Oil isn't the only thing in that water! Scientific American discusses dispertants ( http://bit.ly/9sbGkR ) JanforGore has a video about Corexit ( http://bit.ly/drn5OT ) and the Gulf Coast's Dead Zone is set to grow this year, with the spill being only ONE of the pollutants involved! ( http://bit.ly/clZyWn ) The Ecosystem: Microbes just love methane, and scientists have been awarded grants to study the impact all the oil and methane will have on the microbial population, which effects oxygen levels ( http://bit.ly/bOA1jE ) Birds are getting a helping hand from the US Gov ( http://bit.ly/cJohJH ) and studies are being conducted specifically on the impact on the Whale population ( http://bit.ly/dhJuHU ). So come on by and check out some science, join the group and post some stories! I will try to update the group daily with a wide array of scientific information and studies. Thanks, hope this is helpful and interesting! added by: DeliaTheArtist

Computer simulations show oil reaching up the Atlantic coastline and toward Europe

“The possible spread of the oil spill from the Deepwater Horizon rig over the course of one year was studied in a series of computer simulations by a team of researchers from the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The simulations suggest that the coastlines near the Carolinas, Georgia, and Northern Florida could see the effects of the oil spill as early as October 2010, while the main branch of the subtropical gyre is likely to transport the oil film towards Europe, although strongly diluted. Eight million buoyant particles were released continuously from April 20 to September 17, 2010, at the location of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig. The release occurred in ocean flow data from simulations conducted with the high-resolution Ocean General Circulation Model for the Earth Simulator (OFES). “The paths of the particles were calculated in 8 typical OFES years over 360 days from the beginning of the spill,” says Fabian Schloesser, a PhD student from the Department of Oceanography in SOEST, who worked on these simulations with Axel Timmermann and Oliver Elison Timm from the International Pacific Research Center, also in SOEST. “From these 8 typical years, 5 were selected to create an animation for which the calculated extent of the spill best matches current observational estimates.” http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/07/100706103408.htm added by: DeliaTheArtist
