No Justice: Experts Conclude That Shooting Of 12-Year-Old Tamir Rice Was ‘Justified’

This…is…some…bull…isht. Reviews Say Cleveland Officer Acted Reasonably In Shooting Tamir Rice Two “independent” experts have concluded the unarmed shooting death of Tamir Rice was justified. According to a retired F.B.I. agent and a prosecutor, officer Tim Loehmann acted “justifiable” when he shot the 12-year-old within two seconds for holding a toy gun. The New York Times reports: Two outside investigators looking into the death of Tamir Rice have concluded that a Cleveland police officer, Tim Loehmann, acted reasonably in deciding last year to shoot when he confronted the 12-year-old boy carrying what turned out to be a replica gun. Those opinions, reached separately by a Colorado prosecutor and a former F.B.I. supervisory special agent, were released Saturday night by the Cuyahoga County prosecutor, Timothy J. McGinty, whose office will ultimately present evidence in the case to a grand jury to decide on possible criminal charges. “The question is not whether every officer would have reacted the same way,” Kimberly A. Crawford, the retired F.B.I. agent, wrote in her report, which noted that Officer Loehmann had no way of knowing Tamir’s gun was fake. “Rather, the relevant inquiry is whether a reasonable officer, confronting the exact same scenario under identical conditions could have concluded that deadly force was necessary.” The reports, which were commissioned by the prosecutor’s office, come almost 11 months after the shooting outside a recreation center on Nov. 22, 2014. Both Ms. Crawford and S. Lamar Sims, the prosecutor from Colorado, said in their reports that they were evaluating Officer Loehmann’s actions under the United States Constitution, not Ohio state law. “There can be no doubt that Rice’s death was tragic and, indeed, when one considers his age, heartbreaking,” Mr. Sims wrote. But he added that “Officer Loehmann’s belief that Rice posed a threat of serious physical harm or death was objectively reasonable as was his response to that perceived threat.” SMFH…this is just the latest bit of tragic news surrounding Tamir’s death. What do YOU think about this situation???

Ohio School Shooting Leaves Two Dead, Three Wounded; T.J. Lane in Custody

In a tragic and shocking turn of events, a school shooting in Chardon, Ohio, has left two people dead, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s office said. Student Daniel Parmertor died on Monday. Russell King Jr., 17, was declared brain dead early Tuesday, according to the medical examiner’s office today. He was shot at Chardon High School on Monday. Three other students were wounded in the shooting, conducted by a teenager who has been arrested. Authorities have yet to release the alleged shooter’s name, but it has been widely reported and circulated in the aftermath of the double homicide. Ohio School Shooting Many students, some of whom said they were steps away from the suspect when the bullets flew, described the shooter as a withdrawn boy named T.J. Lane. The suspect was scheduled to make an initial court appearance at 3:30 p.m. Authorities have not released the charges he may face in the Ohio shooting. It was also unclear if the public or media would be allowed in the courtroom at all. Many juvenile hearings are closed, and Lane, if he is the suspect, is a minor. Lawyer Bob Farinacci, speaking for Lane’s family, said late Monday night that the boy, a 17-year-old high school sophomore, was “extremely remorseful.” “Very, very scared and extremely remorseful,” he told CNN affiliate WKYC. “He is a very confused young man right now,” Farinacci added. “He’s very confused. He is very upset. He’s very distraught. This is a very scary circumstance.” “I don’t think he could’ve possibly foreseen himself in the middle of [this].” Thousands of people posted on Facebook and other sotes pledging to wear red – Chardon’s school color – on Tuesday in support of the victims and survivors. “RIP Danny. Such a beautiful life cut way too short. You will never be forgotten,” one poster to Parmentor’s memorial page. “My heart aches for your family.” The victims were students who attended Lake Academy Alternative School, a nearby vocational school, and were waiting for a bus to take them there. Lane himself is a student at the school for at-risk children.

Clev. Police Chief “We Have Nothing To Hide” And Releases This Footage Of Police Brutality! [Video]

According to Cleveland Police Chief Michael McGrath, there is nothing to hide when it comes to a controversial police video of Jalil Anderson’s arrest back in January. “There was no cover-up whatsoever. We are completely transparent in the police department,” said Chief McGrath. vAccording to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, Anderson was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under suspension. Officer Martin Lentz says Anderson assaulted him by hitting him in the face with his belt buckle, but the jailhouse video suggests otherwise. During Anderson’s pretrial, prosecutor’s subpoenaed the footage, only to be told it no longer existed. That led to Anderson pleading guilty of a lesser charge of resisting arrest. However, due to a media inquiry, the video was recently released. Surveillance video shows Anderson tossing his belt onto the counter and it appears to graze Officer Lentz. Lentz then walks around the counter, pushes Anderson to the counter, and Anderson is seen resisting the cuffs. Five other officers then assist Lentz in tackling Anderson to the ground. So, what really happened to the video? According to Police Chief Michael McGrath, it never got past the House of Corrections. “The House only stores footage for 30 days, so someone there told prosecutors that it no longer existed there,” said Chief McGrath. The prosecutor’s office says a complete review into what happened is currently underway. “They are more than welcome to do a thorough investigation, this was just a cliche in the system,” added Chief McGrath.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s Flesh-N-Bone Arrested At An Ohio Show

Rapper had two outstanding warrants for his arrest due to a domestic dispute with his mom 12 years earlier. By Christopher Campbell Flesh-N-Bone Photo: Valerie Macon/ Getty Images Rapper Flesh-N-Bone, of the Grammy-winning hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, was arrested in Ohio on Sunday for assaulting his mother, according to The Associated Press. The incident occurred in Solon, Ohio, 12 years ago, and the rapper, whose real name is Stanley Howse, was in the local area with his act for a sold-out hometown performance at Cleveland’s House of Blues. The concert was part of the group’s reunion tour, which they kicked off last Wednesday, and marked Howse’s first time in the state in more than a decade. He apparently did not expect two outstanding warrants for his arrest to disrupt the show. Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s deputies planned to take Howse into custody after Bone Thugs-N-Harmony finished their set. However, the rapper spotted the police in the crowd and attempted to make a getaway with help from members of the audience. He was apprehended backstage by one of the deputies with the assistance of the Cleveland Police Department. Howse remained in jail Monday (March 29) with no legal representation reported. He is charged with domestic violence with a firearm and felonious assault. He allegedly struck his mother in the head with a gun in 1998, leaving her with a 1-inch gash on her forehead. Since that time, Howse has had other troubles with the law. In 2000, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison in California on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and probation violation after aiming an AK-47 at a friend. He served eight years. In early 2009, he was again arrested for gun possession, but the charges were later dropped. According to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s Web site, a live Ustream chat scheduled for Monday had to be canceled and rescheduled. Related Artists Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
