Back in August, we learned that Joy-Anna Duggar is pregnant with her first child. Many fans assumed that like her older sisters, Joy-Anna would be offering regular updates on her pregnancy in the form of baby bump selfies and lengthy Instagram posts. Thus far, however, that hasn’t happened. Joy-Anna has been silent on social media for over a month now, and many fans are taking her silence as confirmation of a popular theory. Many Duggar obsessives believe that Joy-Anna got pregnant before her wedding and is currently engaged in an effort to hide that fact from the public. The Duggars are opposed to premarital sex to the point that they prohibit just about all forms of physical contact between non-married couples. So if the rumors about Joy-Anna’s “shotgun wedding” are true, the Duggars would once again be exposed as hypocrites. Joy-Anna’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, are incredibly meticulous when it comes to managing their public image, so if Joy and Austin Forsyth did violate the ” rules of courtship ,” we’ll almost certainly never find out about it. Given the circumstances, it’s not hard to see why fans were suspicious of Joy’s sudden social media hiatus. Many speculated that she’s hiding a baby bump that would away her actual date of conception. Only one photo of Joy has surfaced in the past month–a closeup of her face that Austin posted on her birthday and that only added fuel to the fires of speculation. Perhaps bowing to pressure to address the rumors, Joy kind of emerged from hiding today and refuted claims that she’s several months further along than she claims. “I’m sorry I haven’t really been that active,” Joy wrote on her family’s website today. “My life has become busy lately, but I shall try and post more often.” Fans were quick to point out that Joy still hasn’t been seen by anyone outside of her family in several months. One insider tells Radar Online that Joy is telling the truth when she says she’s simply been preoccupied with other matters. “They’re working on their house,” the source says. “It’s getting close.” Yes, Joy and Austin are building a house together. Jana Duggar-Caleb Williams Courtship: It’s Really Happening!

Last month, reports of Jana Duggar being courted by multiple suitors began to circulate on social media. One of the men, Jacob Wilson, was quick to rebuke the report, but interestingly, the other rumored love interest has yet to expressly deny that he and Jana are courting. That man is named Caleb Williams, and Duggar fans have become intensely interested in his life and social media profiles in recent weeks. Some Duggar obsessives have surmised that Caleb is a “rebel,” who will no doubt have a difficult time convincing Jana’s father, Jim Bob Duggar, that he’s son-in-law material. Of course, that characterization seems to be based primarily on a handful of comments made by a friend of Caleb’s, who stated that he believes the Arkansas-based small business owner is more “liberal” than the Duggars. (As fans of the family know, falling to the left of the Duggars on the political spectrum is not exactly a difficult task. Steve Bannon is basically an unkempt hippie compared to Jim Bob.) But based on his most recent social media posts, we think it’s safe to say Caleb has had no trouble ingratiating himself with Jana’s ultra-conservative family: That’s Williams with Jim Bob Duggar at a recent Arkansas Razorbacks football game. “Thanks for the invite y’all! #gametime #wrongcolors #wps #beatauburn,” Williams captioned the pic. (Sadly, he failed to give a shoutout to the dude photobombing in the back.) Yes, the caption seems to indicate that Jim Bob was the one to invite Caleb to the game, which many have taken as a sign that the two enjoy some sort of special connection these days. After all, with 19 kids and an endless list of well-wishers, it’s not like Jim Bob has trouble finding someone to attend a football game with him. But as much as Duggar fans have scrutinized the photo above, it’s a post on Caleb’s page has garnered even more attention: That’s Caleb holding Josh Duggar’s infant son, Mason. “First time holding sweet baby Mason! Thanks for letting me hold him @joshduggar @annaduggar @duggarfam #BabyMason,” Caleb captioned the image. Yes, Caleb tagged Josh Duggar (who apparently has an Instagram page), and he’s been spending time with the black sheep branch of the Duggar clan. Josh mostly lives the reclusive Boo Radley life these days, so the fact that Caleb has been spending time with him is an indication that he’s truly been granted access to the family’s inner sanctum. Josh Duggar, Sisters Lose Lawsuit Against Tabloid

In the wake of the Josh Duggar sex scandals , the perpetrator’s famous family lashed out in every direction, desperately seeking a way to blame anyone other than Josh. This meant giving interviews in which the blame was placed on the police department that released Josh’s records, and of course, on the tabloid that first broke the story that nearly destroyed the Duggars. Back in May of 2015, In Touch magazine was the first to report that Josh had molested five young girls , four of whom were his sisters, and was assisted in covering up his crimes by his parents. Several of the older Duggar sisters sued the magazine’s publisher, Bauer Media Group, claiming that the company violated victim protection laws by publishing police reports without redacting the Duggar name. (The victims were not named in the published documents, but the Duggars argued that it would be easy to deduce the identities of the victims based on the information provided.) Josh Duggar attempted to join his sisters’ lawsuit , but was rebuffed by their legal team. Eventually, Josh filed his own lawsuit against In Touch , seeking $75,000 in damages and arguing that the magazine had criminally impinged upon his privacy. On Friday, both cases were thrown out by U.S. District Judge Tim Brooks, who decreed that In Touch was well within its First Amendment rights to publish the information contained in the police reports. “Even if one assumes that the disclosure failed to comply with Arkansas statutory redaction requirements, it is clear that the Bauer defendants cannot be held liable, for the city’s and county’s failure to follow the law,” Brooks wrote in his ruling. The Duggar girls named several other parties in their suit, including the City of Springdale, Arkansas, Washington County, and several city officials, who they claim were responsible for the release of their information. While Brooks dismissed most of the defendants, the Duggars’ claims against a few parties, including former Springdale Police Chief Kathy O’Kelley, were allowed to remain active. Those cases will be decided at a later date. Despite that sliver of remaining hope, however, this is nothing less than a devastating legal blow for the Duggars. Their case was never about the damages being sought, but instead constituted an effort to save face by demonstrating that there were numerous guilty parties who were in some way involved in the now-infamous Josh Duggar sex scandal. The judge’s ruling confirms what millions already knew: No one but Josh and his parents is responsible for the atrocities that took place in the Duggar home. Josh & Anna Duggar Celebrate Wedding Aniversary, Get Slammed By Fans

It’s been two years since the world learned that Josh Duggar molested four of his sisters and one other minor. For obvious reasons, the Duggars have been eager to sweep that shocking scandal under the rug, but thankfully, some vigilant former fans aren’t allowing them to do so. In keeping with the promise they made to TLC, the Duggars have not brought Josh on Counting On , the reality series they launched after 19 Kids and Counting was canceled due to advertisers cutting ties with the network in disgust. But the Duggars certainly haven’t given up on helping Josh earn a pardon for his crimes in the court of public opinion. Every time Josh and wife Anna mark a new milestone, the Duggars use it as an opportunity to rebuild Josh’s public image. Earlier this month,  Anna welcomed her fifth child , and the Duggars posted photos of the happy couple all over their social media pages in hopes of garnering a favorable response from fans. The photos were quickly removed after fans expressed their displeasure. But now the Duggars are rallying behind Josh again – and receiving the same predictable results. Jim Bob and Michelle posted the above throwback photo in celebration of Josh and Anna’s ninth wedding anniversary this week. “Happy Anniversary Josh and Anna,” the caption read. “We love you both so much and are so thankful for God’s grace and love in your lives. We pray He will be with you as you follow Him. Love, Mom & Dad PS–We are also thankful for the beautiful legacy of five wonderful grandchildren!!” Needless to say, fans didn’t share those warm feelings: “There is no way I could stay married to this man let alone have more children with him!,” wrote one follower., referencing the recent birth of Josh and Anna’s fifth child. “I live [sic] the Duggar family’s and the shows but it disgusts me to even hear anything about Josh .. to me Anna is staying against her will .. she’s staying because of his and her family’s ..so sad,” she added. “Dudes, again, your son has major issues,” commented another fan. “Parading him and his family in the public eye just makes people feel terrible. It’s too soon. “For the sake of his recovery, his wife and the rest of your family it might be best to keep your love and support private for now. I’m sure they don’t need the inevitable negativity. Their family has suffered enough from being in the public eye.” Some followers were even more blunt, making it clear that their anger toward Josh for his appalling misdeeds will never dissipate: “Ugh he’s such a smug arrogant a–hole. I go back and forth being angry at her and feeling so badly for her,” another wrote. “What a mess. She – and especially their children! – don’t deserve all of this.” We’d say they’ve probably learned their lesson from this incident, but this is the Duggars we’re talking about – they never learn from anything! Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell: Married!

It’s that time again, friends! Yet another one of the Duggar children has gotten married … meaning it’s time to send your well wishes, and also to take bets on how long it will take for them to make a pregnancy announcement ! This weekend, the lucky couple to wed is Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell. The wedding took place yesterday at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and the whole family was there to celebrate, naturally! Several family members managed to make their way into the wedding party, too. Joseph chose his brother Josiah to be his best man, with brothers John David, Jeremiah, Jedidiah, Jason, James, and Justin stepping in as groomsmen. Meanwhile, Kendra picked Jana, Jill, Jessa, Joy-Anna, Johannah, and Jennifer as some of her bridesmaids. Her own sister acted as her maid of honor, and her mother was in the bridal party as well. We don’t have access to any wedding photos yet — the Duggars are holding on tight to those! — but we do know that Kendra’s dress was, in classic Duggar fashion, modest but beautiful. Joseph and the rest of the boys in the wedding wore navy suits, which makes sense: the wedding colors were said to be navy, burgundy, and yellow. On Thursday night, the newly married couple threw a fun little rehearsal dinner with Mexican food on the menu. And then for their reception last night, they partied at their church’s gym — that part of the event was described as “fun and festive.” After the ceremony, Joseph made an adorable statement to People, saying “It is an amazing feeling to be husband and wife.” “It’s something that I’ve always dreamed of to have a wife and to raise a family in a way that honors the lord. We are very excited to see what God has in the future for us.” Us too, y’all! It seems like Jim Bob and Michelle were also thrilled with the wedding — they made two separate statements to say as much! On the family’s official Facebook page, they wrote “What a beautiful ceremony today when Joe and Kendra became husband and wife! We are thrilled to have Kendra join the family!” And over on the Duggar family blog, they made a post saying “Congratulations to the Newlyweds!” “It’s an amazing and exciting day for our family! We loved sharing your big day with you and look forward to the amazing days ahead the Lord has in store for you both!” Sweet, right? Joseph and Kendra began courting back in March , and he proposed to her in May. You may remember the proposal: he got a whole, whole lot of criticism for doing it during Joy-Anna’s wedding ! Though the timing of his proposal may not have been up to everyone’s standards, it’s obvious the family holds no hard feelings. Congrats, Duggars! Joy-Anna Duggar Wedding Invitation: Revealed! (Exclusive)

After months of wedding rumors, Joy-Anna Duggar tied the knot with Austin Forsyth earlier this spring in the couple’s native Arkansas. Despite false reports of a fall wedding (on Joy’s birthday), the Duggars sent out invites to relatives and friends like any family would. Invitations that (obviously) include the date: Why is this invite – sent to The Hollywood Gossip exclusively from a source lucky enough to receive one – significant, you ask? In many ways, really most ways, it’s not at all. We can see the Facebook comments now: “Ooh, A wedding invitation was sent out that included the date and the names of the duo getting hitched. What a BOMBSHELL exclusive, THG!” We concede the point. It is worth noting, however, that this was sent to hundreds of people, each of whom honored a request on the back: Do not post this on social media . If you watch  Counting On  online , you saw Joy-Anna and Austin’s road to the altar culminate in the season premiere early last month. That’s barely two weeks after this wedding. Which means the Duggars either kept TLC in the dark, or the network is equally good at keeping secrets, and either way … it’s impressive. Up until the night Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth married  (and Joseph and Kendra Caldwell got engaged), we were in the dark. So was the rest of the celebrity gossip world. There were the aforementioned reports, complete with a fake registry, suggesting that the two would tie the knot later this year. A week before the wedding took pace, an erroneous report indicated that Joy would become Mrs. Forsyth the previous Friday night. Some critics, including our source (who wishes to remain anonymous), say this is just a classic example of deceit by Jim Bob Duggar. We’re not sure we would go that far. To be sure, Jim Bob knows that the courtships, weddings and pregnancies of his adult daughters are keeping his reality TV empire afloat. (We won’t bother to point out the irony of a show about a deeply patriarchal family being rescued by a generation of young women.) To be sure, JBD will shamelessly attempt to choreograph the release of details (most notably photos and videos) from such milestones.  Still, he’s hardly the first person to use public interest in his family to get paid … nor would he want to sabotage his daughter’s wedding. If you were to give him the benefit of the doubt: Do you really expect him to spread the word publicly, not only impeding efforts to control media coverage but inviting unwanted attention? Controversial as they are, the Duggar family could easily become targets of unwanted paparazzi, even protesters or deranged fans. Not exactly a dream come true for Joy, is it? Some Jim Bob detractors believe he is motivated by riches, fame and public perception more than the religious views he vocally espouses. That very well may be the case. Many of his actions through the years would support that argument … we’re just not sure guarding Joy-Anna’s wedding date qualifies. At the end of the day, we’re just surprised he was able to guard it so successfully, all while mailing invites out like any father of the bride. Perhaps his biggest asset is Northwest Arkansas. Living there, so far from New York or L.A., even such a famously huge family and community can remain relatively tight-knit and private. (At least until 6-7 weeks go by and some lucky invitee finds theirs and tips us off after the fact … and for that, we thank them.) Can you believe, though, that in the digital age, and given their popularity and the tabloid scrutiny surrounding them, that his plan worked? Love him or loathe him, what a big win for JBD. Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth: Married! For Real!

Stop the presses and put an end to the speculation: Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are married. It’s finally true! And oh so exciting! For the past several days, fans of this reality star have been wondering whether or not she and her long-time acquaintance had tied the knot. There was chatter just a few days ago that Joy-Anna Duggar married Austin Forsyth last weekend in their native Arkansas. A top Duggar social media source, the Facebook page “Duggar Family News: Life Is Not all Pickles & Hairspray, fueled this speculation. Some sources reported that their wedding had, indeed, taken place, although we later learned this not the case after all. Now, however, we can state with certainty that the 19-year-old Joy and the 23-year-old Austin are wife and husband. Because they’ve confirmed it themselves! “We feel so happy and so excited,” the couple told People Magazine after getting married on Friday in a church full of family members and loved ones. The publication has even included a photo of Joy-Anna in her wedding dress for its exclusive article regarding the nuptials. Adds the bride of her big day and her new husband: “Leading up, it was so surreal until I was walking down the aisle and then I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, it’s actually here.’ “We are going to be traveling for our Honeymoon for awhile.” The young star got engaged just a few months after announcing their courtship on the special episode of Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding in November. This is typical protocol for members of the family, of course. Due to the very strict Duggar dating rules , they are barely allowed to do more than whisper in one another’s ears while dating. Heck, you can’t even hold hands until you’re engaged. Therefore, it makes sense they’d want to get married as soon as possible once they find someone they like a whole lot. In Joy-Anna and Austin’s case, the two were family friends for 15 years before entering into a courtship last fall. “It’s really special that I got to grow up with him and my family knows him really well,” Joy-Anna said of Austin back in February. Speaking on their shared history and relationship, the teenager acknowledged at the time that she’s relatively young to be engaged. At the same time, she’s witnessed successful relationships across the board when it comes to her gigantic family. “Watching my sisters go through that with their courtships sets a really good example,” she told People, adding: “I was able to ask them just a lot of questions and wisdom about what they did and didn’t do and then just making it special.” “Showing him how much I appreciate him, it’s been amazing.” Joy-Anna and Austin, meanwhile, recorded a video for TLC so soon after their nuptials that the former is still in her gown. In this preview, the newlyweds tease the June 12 return of Counting On and make it clear that they’re totally psyched to be married. “Saying our vows and saying ‘I do’ and committing our lives to each other is so incredible,” the bride said, beaming with joy. “I am so blessed to be married to him.” And Austin agrees. “I’m just looking forward to getting to share my life, its good time and its challenges, with my best friend,” says in this same teaser. Jinger Duggar: Baby Registry, Due Date Revealed?!

For weeks now, we’ve been hearing rumors that Jinger Duggar is pregnant with her first child . Part of the reason for the speculation is that Jinger has been married to Jeremy Vuolo  for six full months, which means that by Duggar standards, the couple is well overdue for a pregnancy announcement. But on top of that, Jinger has allegedly been a little sloppy in terms of hiding her forthcoming bundle of joy from fans. For starters, several recent Instagram photos seem to show Jinger sporting a baby bump . Adding fuel to the rumor fire is the fact that  Jinger recently hinted at a big announcement , which many fans believe will be a confirmation that she’s expecting. The Duggars are usually cagey with this sort of news, as they like to use major life events such as courtships, weddings, and pregnancies to draw viewers to their TLC reality show. Since Counting On Season 4 is just around the corner, it makes sense that Jinger and Jeremy would hold off in order to use the increased interest in their lives to promote the show’s June 12 return. Unfortunately for the young couple, keeping secrets in 2017 is no easy feat, and it seems they may have kept the news to themselves just a bit too long: According to several media outlets, a baby shower registry created by the Vuolos and posted to the site Buy Buy Baby was discovered by fans on Monday. The registry was either a hoax or there’s another Jinger Vuolo out there somewhere. But since it was promptly deleted and there’s been no mention of it by the Duggars, we’re guessing it was the real deal. In addition to the fact that Jinger is expecting, the registry revealed that her due date is December 16, and she’s expecting a baby girl! No word on what sort of items the Vuolos requested, but now that the cat’s out of the bag, it’s a safe bet that they’ll be making their “big announcement” sooner than expected. And of course, Jinger’s pregnancy will likely play a huge role in the highly anticipated fourth season of her family’s popular reality series. Jinger Duggar: Pregnant With First Child! (Report)

After weeks of rumors, several media outlets are now confirming the news that Jinger Duggar is pregnant with her first child. Jinger married Jeremy Vuolo back in November, and at the time, the couple told fans that they planned on starting a family as soon as possible. Last week, photos which some fans believe showed Jinger concealing a baby bump further fueled speculation, and now Duggar insiders have reportedly leaked the news. Not surprisingly, sources claim the Duggars are holding back on confirming the reports so that they can make the reveal to fans on a future episode of the family’s reality show, Counting On:  “Jinger and Jeremy are keeping the news under wraps to promote the upcoming season of Counting On,” an insider tells In Touch. The source adds that the pregnancy may prompt Jinger and Jeremy to relocate: “No one would be surprised if they moved back to Arkansas to be with her family.” There’s been no official word yet from Jinger or Jeremy, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the reports are bogus. In the past, the Duggars have gone to great lengths to conceal pregnancies and other big developments from fans until they felt the time was right. When Jessa Duggar was pregnant with her second child , the family managed to keep the news to themselves until well into her second trimester. No mean feat considering the amount of fan scrutiny on her every social media post. Unfortunately, it may be quite some time before Duggar devotees find out for sure if Jinger is expecting, as Counting On isn’t scheduled to return to TLC until sometime this summer. When asked about her pregnancy plans in a recent interview with People magazine, Jinger spoke only in the vaguest terms: “We are just enjoying our life together,” she told the magazine. “We will see what the Lord does.” Some fans have noted that Jinger didn’t mention being pregnant in a recent update she posted to her family’s official blog. Burt again, that doesn’t mean much. The Duggars have based their empire on controlling when and how information about their personal lives is revealed. You can be certain that if and when Jinger confirms she’s knocked up, she’ll do so on her parents’ timetable. Watch Counting On online to get caught up in time for the season to come.
