This Is Us Spoilers: Everything We Know About Season 4!

This Is Us is one of the most popular shows on the air.  It's one of few shows that can simultaneously makes audiences laugh and cry.  Indeed, a series that follows a family over various decades may sound boring, but This Is Us has already proven to have staying power — it's been renewed for the next THREE seasons! As we look ahead to the show's fourth season, we've rounded up all of the information we know about it below.  Oh, yeah: SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! 1. What the Eff is Going on with Rebecca? This Is Us Season 3 concluded with an elderly Rebecca in a bad way. She was not recognizing her son, Randall, leading to concerns from fans that she was about to die. “Possibly this is someone near the end of their life experiencing a lack of awareness and confusion that comes with extreme old age,” showrunner, Elizabeth Berger tells Glamour. 2. Rebecca Is Probably About to Die The beauty of This Is Us spanning decades is that even if Rebecca dies in the future, Mandy Moore will remain part of the series. “I think it definitely feels like Rebecca is very near the end of her life and that her passing is imminent, and that’s why everyone has decided to descend upon Kevin’s house,” showrunner Isaac Aptaker said. 3. Nicky Changes His Ways Nicky’s life was all over the place during the show’s third season. The family tried to help him get sober to give him the best quality of life. Things took a turn when it was revealed that he had changed int he future and was right by Rebecca’s side. “We’re seeing a guy in a better place than when we last left him,” Aptaker says. “The fact that he aged really well shows he’s in a much better place mentally and physically than when we left him in that trailer.” 4. Miguel is MIA (For Now) Miguel was ominously missing from the flash-forward, but don’t expect his fate to be revealed during This Is Us Season 4. His fate will not be revealed until This Is Us Season 5 or 6. Yikes. 5. Melanie Liburd as Kim – This Is Us It was reported following the third season finale that Melanie Liburd was bowing out as a series regular, but her storyline is not over. “We love writing for her, so we’re always going to be looking for ways to bring her back into the story and into the fold,” Aptaker says. “But we will not be watching week-to-week storylines between her and Kevin next year.” That makes sense given that she and Kevin broke up. 6. Is Kate Dead or Alive? Kate’s fate has been the topic of many conversations among fans, but we may be waiting a while for answers. “I think it’s wide open at this point what has become of Kate,” Berger says. “I can’t promise next season,” Aptaker says. “But we know that in terms of the rank of people’s burning questions, that one is probably working its way up there. We’ll be mindful of that.” View Slideshow

WYD?: Elon Musk Puffs A Blunt On Podcast, Tesla Stock Drops

Excerpt from:

Source: ROBYN BECK / Getty Elon Musk needs to get his life together. The Tesla exec thought it was a good idea to puff a blunt while being interviewed on a podcast so of course, Tesla’s stock price took a drop.  Snoop Doggy Musk was being interviewed by Joe Rogan when they decided to light up (the interview was being broadcast live on YouTube, too). So much for plausible deniability. Black kids are still being arrested for smoking weed in many of America’s cities, but Elon Musk and Joe Rogan are sitting here smoking blunts on camera in California. Marijuana should be legal in all 50 states. pic.twitter.com/VZ1yh1MUHT — Keith Boykin (@keithboykin) September 7, 2018 Flash-forward to Friday (Sept. 7) morning, and CNBC reports that Tesla’s stock dropped as much as 9%. To be fair, Tesla’s chief account officer giving the peace out sign didn’t help the stock’s cause, but an L due to weed (see what we did there) plays much better on the Internets. On and the slander is immaculate, too. Elon Musk is such an innovator he created a way to look lame smoking a blunt pic.twitter.com/dM7Ndd99QA — Jess Dweck (@TheDweck) September 7, 2018 So does this mean Azealia Banks was right all along ? Nevertheless, Elon Musk is still rich. — Photo: Getty

Anna Nicole Smith Movie Review: Ripped From the Headlines, Six Years Later

From the network that brought us recent ripped-from-the-headlines biopics about Casey Anthony, Jodi Arias and Drew Peterson comes one about … Anna Nicole Smith? The late model, as seen in last night’s Lifetime original film Anna Nicole, left an indelible mark on a then still-developing reality TV and celebrity culture. Agnes Bruckner took on the tragic, titular role of the woman whose life saw so many ups, downs and bizarre turns that were stranger than fiction. “I was very nervous and anxious, because she was so iconic and so famous and larger-than-life. I asked myself ‘Am I going to pull this off?’” Brucker said. “‘What kind of movie are we making?’ I asked all those questions. We really wanted to tell a different story, and that gave me the confidence to play her.” That different story is one of a woman whose life played out in real time in front of viewers for years – something now commonplace for Kim Kardashian et al. It is also a tale of tragedy for a mother who welcomed a daughter, Dannielynn , just before she lost a son, and met her own demise in early 2007. Whatever your opinion of Anna Nicole Smith, any parent can understand the struggle to go on after losing a child, a rare constant in a whirlwind of a life. In the end, the film is pretty standard for Lifetime celebrity fodder, if not slightly better in the emotions, events and themes it chose to focus on. The five most memorable moments from Anna Nicole: 1. Bruckner’s transformation. Yes, it’s what actresses do, but this is one heck of a woman to transform into, given her wildly fluctuating weight and appearance. Smith flashed her boobs to crowds, pole-danced on football field (in front of her son), got hammered while pregnant, and went balls to the wall, 24/7/365. That’s not an easy person to embody, but Bruckner did so admirably. 2. An extension of #1 perhaps, but seeing Bruckner acting out the clown scene was so bizarre, it defies description. Incredibly, it happened in real life, too. Donning eerie clown makeup and slurring her speech, a pregnant Anna Nicole Smith claimed her baby was “just gas” as Howard K. Stern filmed it. It was a have-to-see-it-to-believe-it moment, a haunting reminder of how far she had fallen by that point and a harbinger of tragic events to come. 3. Anna Nicole’s son Daniel was the unexpected star of the film. Through the years, we saw his unconditional love and vulnerability, how Anna’s hard living impacted him, and how he succumbed to similar troubles himself. 4. Rather than flashbacks, there were flash-forwards to Smith in that iconic red dress, as if Anna Nicole were destined to be pulled out of Vickie Lynn. 5. The whole J. Howard Marshall romance was kind of odd, at least it was played up that way here, as if he just wanted to have some fun and dote on Smith. No doubt the billionaire did that, to a point, but what was undoubtedly a layered and complex relationship felt overly simplistic and glossed over. What did you think of Anna Nicole? Did you watch? Were you a fan? Share your comments and memories of the late model and reality star with THG .

‘Spider-Man’ Star Andrew Garfield Covers Entertainment Weekly

‘I related to Peter Parker so much because I felt like someone else inside,’ the actor reveals to mag. By Terri Schwartz Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man on the cover of Entertainment Weekly Photo: Entertainment Weekly It’s been more than six months since the world first saw the new “Amazing Spider-Man,” Andrew Garfield, in his Spidey suit . Now, fans are getting another look as he graces the cover of Entertainment Weekly in anticipation of next week’s trailer premiere and San Diego Comic-Con panel. Perhaps more important, the entertainment magazine has confirmed that “Pirate Radio” star Rhys Ifans will play Spider-Man foe the Lizard in the upcoming flick. Up until now, it had only been rumored that Ifans had been cast to play the famous villain. On the EW cover, fans get a fuller view of Garfield himself; the special characteristics of his Spidey costume seem to be secondary in the latest image. The story gives an inside look at the set and some new photos, as well as interviews with castmembers and director Marc Webb. Specifically, Garfield admits that the part is one he’d always dreamed of playing. “I related to Peter Parker so much because I felt like someone else inside,” he says of Spider-Man’s alter ego. “I loved the comic books and the animated TV series and I even dressed up as Spider-Man as a kid.” Webb adds, “Ultimately, what this movie is about is a kid who grows up looking for his father and finds himself. And that’s a Spider-Man story we haven’t seen before.” When MTV News spoke to Garfield’s “Spider Man” co-star Emma Stone in June, the actress said she was impressed by how good he looked in his costume. “He looks like Spider-Man, ya know?” she laughed. “It’s pretty exciting.” In other exciting “Amazing Spider-Man” news, SuperHeroHype.com is reporting that a full-length trailer for the movie is set for release next week. The site is operating under the assumption that this trailer will be the same one Sony Pictures unveils at the “Spider-Man” San Diego Comic-Con panel on Friday. But it may also run in front of select screenings of “Captain America: The First Avenger” in its July 22 opening weekend. ‘Harry Potter’ Stars Felt ‘Weird’ During Epilogue Scene

‘The images of me still haunt me,’ Rupert Grint tells MTV News of his flash-forward makeup. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” Photo: Warner Bros. Though the story of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” ends with Harry’s battle against Voldemort, the real goodbye to the franchise comes through an epilogue sequence at the end of the movie. It’s a scene MTV has been talking to the cast of the “Harry Potter” films about for many years, especially after the creative heads decided to age the stars using makeup instead of cast a new set of actors. Now that the film is less than 24 hours away from being released, the stars were ready to open up about how they felt about the final “Harry Potter” scene. “With the way it ends, it definitely got balanced right, it was believable, but it was a weird scene to film,” Rupert Grint told MTV News. The actor better known as Ron Weasley had to shoot the epilogue sequence twice after director David Yates decided that the first attempt didn’t work as well. In the scene that is used in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” Ron has gained a pot belly and some stubble, but the first version also featured a serious receding hairline and some unflattering jowls. “The images of me still haunt me,” Grint admitted with a traumatized look on his face. “It was like this monster Donald Trump kind of mixture. It was scary.” His co-star Tom Felton agreed that Grint had not looked particularly attractive the first time, but he wasn’t entirely happy with how his character, Draco Malfoy, turned out either. His real-life girlfriend, Jade Olivia, played his onscreen wife in the sequence and he got to wear a muscle suit — “It was quite cool, I felt quite ripped” — but despite his “lovely goatee” and longer hairstyle, Felton wasn’t entirely satisfied with the results. Unfortunately for the “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” star, he and Olivia “nailed it” the first time, and thus weren’t called back for reshoots. “They were pretty cruel, don’t you think?” Felton asked. “Nineteen years, they were supposed to base it on Jason Isaacs! I look like Jason Isaacs’ dad! I mean, come on.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Britney Spears To Release Two ‘Till The World Ends’ Videos

A director’s cut and a choreography cut of the video will both be released. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: MTV News & Docs Who needs one “Till the World Ends” video when you can have two? Well, it seems that Britney Spears’ fans will get just that. JustJared.com reports that the singer will release two videos for her second single from Femme Fatale. According to the site, “The director’s cut will have more of an apocalyptic story line while the choreography cut will have the unabridged version of Britney’s dance moves.” The video was directed by Ray Kay and shot in Los Angeles last month. The video features Spears in sexy, body-hugging clothes getting sweaty with her dancers. “The set was a little much. It was grimy and gross and it felt like there was poop everywhere when there wasn’t,” she recalled in Sunday’s MTV special “Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale.” “It was sweat and it was disgusting sometimes … [I] tough it out,” she laughed. In the video sneak peek featured in the special, Spears opted to change out of her sexy heels to dance in more practical Uggs. “It hurts … but it looks good,” she explained. “It wasn’t a full-length shot, so a girl’s about comfort when it’s not showing.” She later added, “It was a lot of fun. I had never worked with Ray Kay before. I was really happy with the work we did.” Spears’ “Till The World Ends” songwriter, Ke$ha , opened up to People.com about how she’d like to hang out with the pop star now that they’ve worked on a hit pop song together. “Skinny dipping. It would be a dress-up-like-Ke$ha-or-Britney party. Either her place or my place, it doesn’t matter,” the “Blow” singer said, describing their perfect hang-out. “I have a small, salt-water pool [at my house in Nashville] that has laser beams in it and a stereo so you can be underwater listening to music.” Are you excited for two “Till the World Ends” videos? ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’ Dividing Point Revealed

First movie will end ‘at about Chapter 24 of the book,’ according to upcoming article in Entertainment Weekly. By Josh Wigler Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” Photo: Warner Bros. Given that the novel clocks in at 759 pages and 36 chapters, not to mention a controversial flash-forward epilogue, there’s little question that the film adaptation of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” needed extra legroom to properly stretch itself. As a result, Warner Bros. made the fan-supported decision to split the final installment of the “Harry Potter” franchise into two movies, but one question still plagues Potterites everywhere: At what moment in the story will the films split up ? It would seem that the answer is upon us, as “Harry Potter” fan site Muggle Net has come across what appears to be scanned pages of a “Deathly Hallows” preview article from an upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly. In the article, it’s clearly stated that the November-releasing first installment of “Deathly Hallows” concludes “at about Chapter 24 of the book, with Voldemort gaining possession of the Elder Wand, one of the three Deathly Hallows that allow the bearer to conquer death.” By all accounts, it appears that the scans are legitimate, potentially putting an end to countless hours of fan speculation about where the two movies would diverge. In the article, Warner Bros. Entertainment President Alan Horn spoke about splitting the last “Harry Potter” novel into two films, acknowledging that there were certainly commercial reasons driving the final decision. “I don’t want to be disingenuous or dishonest about this,” Horn told Entertainment Weekly. “There’s no question that Warner Bros. will make more money with two films than they would have with one. But we also never, ever would have done this if [author J.K. Rowling] had not endorsed it and if we didn’t feel that we were providing a better finale, with a more full sense of closure. We just respect and love the books too much for that.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
