The Kardashian-Jenner clan has always had trouble staying on message politically. After being hailed as an advocate for the trans community, Caitlyn Jenner stuck by her conservative , Republican views. Kim and Kris supported Hillary in the 2016 presidential election … but then Kanye West met with Donald Trump during the president's shady transition. But no matter where you fall on the Kard clan political spectrum, one thing we can all agree on is that Kendall Jenner's new Pepsi commercial is dumb as hell. The ad seems to be aiming for a tone similar to that of the famous “I'd Like to Buy the World a Coke” commercial of 1971 by acknowledging the current climate of political strife while encouraging unity. But man did it miss the mark by a mile. For an indication of how mind-blowingly tone deaf the spot is, look no further than these side-by-side screengrabs: Yes, that's a bunch of cops recoiling in horror from a black woman while accepting the gift of ice cold Pepsi from Kendall. It's not hard to see why social media responded with a collective WTF? The intention of the ad seems to be to give an approving nod to both protesters and police while … giving Kendall Jenner woke points? We're not really sure. Whatever the intention, having Kenny save the day with with a crispy can of sugar water is just downright confusing. When your ad could've benefited from the social consciousness of Don freakin' Draper, you know you messed up bad.

It’s no secret that Miley Cyrus loves Instagram. Every day (sometimes multiple times a day), she gifts the world with some sort of visual that the rest of just aren’t high enough to understand. Whether it’s video of Miley smoking weed and bugging out to dubstep, or doctored photos like the ones in the gallery below, every Instagram post of Miley’s begs the question, “What is going on with this girl?” Miley Cyrus’ Weirdest Instagram Photos 1. Yes, she is…and ticket sales for her Bangerz tour have been plummeting as of late, so Miley may want to think about unplugging from the social networks, putting down the bong, and working to save her ailing career. American Idol Producer: Pia Toscano "Never the Frontrunner"

The American Idol judges were shocked that Pia Toscano was ousted on last week’s results show, and some fans are petitioning to bring her back. Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, however, is not up in arms. “I know the [voting] results, so I know she was never a frontrunner,” Lythgoe said . “The fact of the matter, it appears, is that Pia didn’t connect with the audience as much as maybe we think she did. And she wasn’t voted through.” To be fair, Nigel isn’t anti-Pia, he’s just stating facts . Nigel, who also produces and judges So You Think You Can Dance , did say that Idol could consider changing the voting format next year to mirror SYTYCD . On that show, America determines the bottom three, but the judges decide who leaves. That is ultimately a call for Idol creator Simon Fuller, Lythgoe said. What do you think? Would you rather have Steven, Randy and J. Lo make that call in order to prevent another shocking result like we saw last Thursday? Or, would stripping America of its final say actually hurt the format?

Winklevoss Twins Lose Appeal of Facebook Settlement

Despite their claims that Facebook did not provide an accurate valuation, a judge ruled that Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss must accept their $65 million settlement from the social networking behemoth and move on. SUCKS for them. A U.S. appeals court ruled that the settlement (depicted in The Social Network ) stands. The Winklevoss twins (seen here with the actor who portrayed them, Armie Hammer) claim Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg stole their idea for the site. Zuckerberg and Facebook denied this, but settled 2008. The Winklevii have since tried to secure more $$ by claiming that
