Kim Kardashian: Talks Feminist Label, Family Success, And Bruce Jenner’s Transition [Video]

Kim Kardashian Honored In Variety’s Power Of Women Luncheon Via Variety Have you always considered yourself a businesswoman? I have. When the opportunity for our TV show came about, I wanted to do it to bring attention to our stores [which she’d opened with her sisters]. I was thinking this might not last very long, but we’ll grow a great business and expand online. I thought it would be great press. I didn’t think it would turn into what it turned into. Was it your idea to be named an executive producer? It was important to me, because I feel like I am. I watch every single edit. I do so much work behind the scenes. If it’s something as simple as where to eat, we clear about a dozen restaurants before the season starts. I’ve always been a huge part of the show. I think there was no reason not to be an executive producer. I think it’s deserved. Do you think of yourself as a brand? I definitely look at myself that way. I think that there’s the Kim Kardashian brand and the Kardashian brand. I think they blend together, but I have different qualities or interests that my sisters might not be so into. But no matter what, we’re family and super close. I think the brand will always represent family. Flip the page to see what Kim had to say about Bruce Jenner, feminists, and the Kardashian brand.

Gwyneth Paltrow Playing Hollywood Legends for Max Factor of the Day

I am going to assume that Gwyneth Paltrow got paid a million dollars or more to do this campaign for Max Factor cosmetics….and I got paid zero to promote it…because the world is not fair, there is an injustice and that’s ok. If you’re wondering why I am posting it, it’s because I like the arrogance, or how presumptuous it is of Gwyneth to pose as Audrey Hepburn and Brigette Bardot….I mean even if it wasn’t her idea, there is no way that this rich kid who got daddy to hook her up with work, that led to more work is ever going to be a Hollywood Classic, the reality is, if she wasn’t always talking about herself, no one would even remember her or any of her work… I can’t imagine in 40 years people masturbating to any of her work, in fact I can’t imagine anyone masturbating to any of her work now. I don’t even think Brad Pitt jerks off to memories of fucking her when he hides in the bathroom for some alone time…. THis level of obnoxious entertains me…and it is all about me people.

Aymeline Valade Nipples for Vanity Fair France of the Day

I am not going to research this model Aymeline Valade…Her name is ridiculous and I have posted her Tit for Fashion at least once before, which to me means she’s relevant enough, and I guess Vanity Fair France agrees with, as they should…because I am an expert at this stuff…I’ve made a shitty fucking life out of it…and I have the curse of telling people I have a blog, like i”m a 15 year old girl who doesn’t have her driver’s license yet, and has no choice but to blog to entertain herself…only unlike a 15 year old girl…I am not fun to look at myself in the mirror while I masturbate during some teenage self discover…if anything I am scary. These pics of Aymeline Valade aren’t that great – but nipple carries them for me…and for you.

Jenna Talackova: I Was Born in the Wrong Body

Transgender Miss Universe Canada contestant Jenna Talackova says in a new interview that even at four years old, she knew she was “in the wrong body.” Talackova, who was booted from Miss Universe Canada for not being a “naturally born female,” then allowed back in after all, sat down with ABC’s 20/20 . Accompanied by her mother and her lawyer, Gloria Allred, the beauty revealed to Barbara Walters that at birth, she was actually named “Walter.” Jenna Talackova Interview Talackova, 23, who was called “tranny” and “it” by bullies at school, started hormone therapy at 14. Later, she underwent gender reassignment surgery. That converted her male genitalia to female and made her the woman she is now. “It was terribly painful,” Talackova told Walters of the procedure, “but seeing something on your body for that long and not even being able to look at myself in the mirror because I couldn’t stand seeing the other part, it was very rewarding, too.” To complete her physical transformation, Jenna Talackova said, she also received breast implants and had her Adam’s apple removed in the following years. Her legal transformation became complete as she changed her Canadian driver’s license, passport and birth certificate to reflect her gender reassignment. She is now recognized as female by the Canadian government, and lives a full life as a heterosexual woman. She says she has a boyfriend, a man she says is near her age. He is “very supportive … just an amazing man.” And she’s taken the beauty pageant controversy and turned it into an opportunity to help pave the way for other transgendered men and women. “I feel like the universe, the creator just put me in this position as an advocate,” she told Walters. “And now it’s like this, and I’ll take that position. If it’s helping anybody else, by sharing my story and with my actions, then I feel great about it.” The Miss Universe Canada pageant takes place May 19. Do you think she should be disqualified because of her transgender status?

Why Renny Harlin Made a Movie About the 2008 Russo-Georgian War

Renny Harlin ( Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger, 12 Rounds ) is not the first director — or the second or third or heck, the 20th — you’d expect to direct a serious movie about a recent political conflict that resulted in numerous human rights violations, civilian deaths, and tenuous relations between Russia and neighboring Georgia. But that’s just what the genre veteran did in the Aug. 19 pic 5 Days of War , telling The New York Times he “wanted to shift to films that he said would ‘allow me to look at myself in the mirror’ in the morning.” Congrats, Renny! You’re that much closer to making up for Cutthroat Island . [ NYT ]

TV We Like: What I Learned From a Show About Nothing

I was flipping through the tube last night, and found myself in an all-too familiar situation: watching reruns of  Seinfeld .  Sure, you could chalk it up to my lack of a basic cable package, or it could be due to the fact that I’m no longer able to stomach Letterman’s increasingly senile, liberal spewage (and Leno is sort of hit-or-miss these days).  I would argue, however, that one reason stands above the rest: Seinfeld  is honest. The truth is that  Seinfeld  reflects the worst among us. It is made up of a memorable cast, all of whom play the most self-serving people you could ever meet. Self-absorbed, vain and often underhanded, the show is a perfect embodiment of many involved with the entertainment industry.  You’ve got to love its transparency. Unlike James Cameron (who is just as materialistic and self-serving as a George Costanza), you never have to worry about the show sermonizing the politically correct cause du jour. Funnily enough, it is  Seinfeld’s  lack of a soapbox that spurs me to take a good hard look at myself more than any other show on television. How often do you find yourself disgusted at the selfishness of George or Jerry, only to realize that you’ve most likely acted similarly (if not identically) at one point or another? Whether it’s as mundane as bragging about a prime parking space or as shameful as breaking up with a dame due to hygienic differences, we’ve all found ourselves in ” Seinfeld  moments” more often than we care to admit.  How often have you watched the show with your friends only to hear echoes of, “Oh, that’s so something  you would do.” Miraculously enough, I’ve probably made more self-corrections from watching  Seinfeld  than I ever would from listening to today’s self-righteous celebrities. Isn’t that the way life goes?  Whether it’s your parents putting a limit on your candy intake as a child or a pompous celebrity demanding that you adopt his opinion as your own, when someone else tries to force you, your natural instinct is to rebel. Action meets reaction. But when someone lays everything out on the table and allows you to make your own decisions, more often than not, you’ll opt for the right one. You find yourself thinking things like, “Hrm, Mom was right.  Eight pounds of Pixie Stix probably isn’t such a great idea.” Or, “I now see why fires should only be lit in a contained area.” In the same way, when watching  Seinfeld,  one often finds themselves with a well-deserved feeling of guilt in their gut, muttering, “Well, I’ll never do that again.”  A mirror’s reflection is the greatest tool one can use toward self improvement, and  Seinfeld  is one hell of a mirror. That’s why I love this show. Plus, Letterman just sucks these days. Crossposted at Big Hollywood

Tiger Woods Opens Up At Masters Press Conference

‘I acted terribly, poorly, made just terrible decisions that hurt people close to me,’ he says before his return to golf. By Eric Ditzian Tiger Woods at the Masters on Monday Photo: Jamie Squire/ Getty Images Days before Tiger Woods makes his competitive comeback at the Masters Tournament, the star golfer took questions during his first open-ended press conference since his numerous extramarital affairs were revealed in November. He answered questions about the details surrounding his post-Thanksgiving car accident, his relationship with his family and the difficulty of returning to his sport after the scandal. “Having to look at myself in a light I never wanted to look at myself — that was difficult,” he said. “How far astray I got from my core fundamentals and core morals my mom and dad taught me. … The other difficult part over the last few months is just the constant harassment to my family. My wife and kids being photographed everywhere they go, being badgered. That’s tough on them, because it’s very difficult to heal.” He also spoke about the pain it caused him to miss his son’s first birthday party during a 45-day stint at an in-patient treatment facility. “I acted terribly, poorly, made just terrible decisions that hurt people close to me,” he said. Yet, while Woods spoke openly about his personal failings, he became tight-lipped when questions hit a few sensitive areas. He was evasive when it came to numerous questions about his alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs and the type of therapy he received during in-patient treatment. Asked if his wife, Elin, was planning to turn up at the Masters, Woods was equally curt: “Elin is not coming. I’m excited to play this week.” When asked if Ambien played a role in his accident (witnesses at the scene described him as groggy), Woods said tersely, “It’s a closed case.” Woods did reveal that the injuries for which he was treated at the hospital following the accident were a sore neck and a cut lip that required five stitches. He also admitted to taking Ambien and Vicodin at certain points in his career, from the period after his father’s death to the times during which he underwent surgery. Woods also spoke about how the sex scandal had altered not just his approach to his personal and family life, but his approach to the game of golf as well. “I’m actually going to try and not get as hot when I play,” he said. “But then again, when I’m not as hot, I’m not going to be as exuberant either. I can’t play one without the other.” That did not mean that his competitive drive had vanished. “Nothing’s changed,” said the four-time Masters winner. “I’m going to try to go out there and win this thing.” What did you think of Tiger’s statements? Will you tune in to the Masters to see if his golf game has changed? Let us know in the comments!

Angelina Jolie Will Totally Kick Brad Pitt’s Ass, But Thinks Fidelity is "Not Essential"

Despite settling down with Brad Pitt for the past four years, Angelina Jolie (supposedly) says she doesn’t think monogamy is required for a healthy relationship. “I doubt that fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship,” Germany’s Das Neue magazine quotes the outspoken, possibly unstable mother of six as saying.
