It’s not unusual for directors to have two films come out in the same year, but Lionsgate isn’t giving Tyler Perry much breathing room. The studio announced today that they will distribute Madea’s Big Happy Family on April 22 of next year, even though his adaptation of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf is slated for January 14.
