Joe Budden took to his own podcast to give a play-by-play, in his own words, about why he wasn’t renewed for the web show he created , “Everyday Struggle.” As far as Joe sees it, a corporate, culturally tone-deaf environment and a refusal to treat their content creators and talent with the respect and value they deserve led to the dissolution of their relationship (and the likely demise of the show). Want to know something crazy? It’s been eight years to the day since Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s episode of 16 and Pregnant aired on MTV! That means that, exactly eight years ago, we were first introduced to this couple — it’s been a wild ride, huh? And, as it turns out, the Baltierras have another important anniversary this weekend … Their 12th anniversary of dating, to be exact! Yes, Catelynn and Tyler, Teen Mom’s middle school sweethearts , have been together for twelve whole years, and to celebrate the special occasion, Tyler wrote a painfully sweet post on Instagram. “I can’t believe that today marks 12 years together with you,” he wrote, tagging Catelynn. “Babe you literally are the greatest gift this life has given me! We were only kids when we fell in love, but we were kids who knew what we wanted out of life & who we wanted to get it with.” “Not a lot of people get that opportunity or blessing at such a young age,” he added. “Even though we were so young,” Tyler continued, “I wish I could go back as far as I could just to love you longer!” “I am just so happy & honored to be your husband. I love you SO much!” He added the hashtags “Happy Anniversary,” “12 Years Strong,” “Soul Mates,” and “Middle School Sweetheart.” It’s so sweet you can hardly stand it, right? But, as any Teen Mom fan would know, things haven’t always been that great for them. On their 16 and Pregnant episode, we saw that they both had troubled home lives — or they shared one, really, since Catelynn’s mother, April, married Tyler’s father, Butch. Butch and April both had big issues with addiction, and neither of them were there for their children like they needed to be. They both criticized Cate and Tyler’s decision to place their daughter, Carly for adoption. Those poor kids were ridiculed to no end for making a mature, responsible decision. After Catelynn gave birth and little Carly was placed with her adoptive parents, the two teenagers still struggled with their parents. Things got so bad that Catelynn moved in with Tyler and his mother for a while to get away from April and Butch. It wasn’t all bad times though. About a year after Carly was born, Tyler proposed to Catelynn! They held off on a wedding for years though — long enough to work out their relationships with their parents, to mature a bit, and to have a darling little daughter, Nova . In August of 2015, they finally tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony. And while they still have some problems — who doesn’t? — it’s obvious that they’re still very much in love with each other. If you keep up with the comings and goings of Jenelle Evans, then one, bless your heart, because you sure are trooper, huh? And two, you know that she hasn’t gotten along with her mother , Barbara Evans, for a very, very long time. Even back in the first season of Teen Mom 2, we saw Jenelle and Barbara get into horrific fights — mostly because Jenelle couldn’t seem to comprehend the idea of being responsible. She left her newborn son, little baby Jace, at home while she went out partying at night, and she expected her mom to pick up her slack. Meanwhile, Barbara had (and still has) a job, but she still cared for Jace throughout the nights while Jenelle was out, and during some mornings when she was too tired to parent. Eventually she signed temporary custody over to Barbara, with the understanding that “temporary” custody could mean she’d get him back in a few months or that Babs would have custody until Jace turned 18. After that, Barbara acted as a full-time parent to Jace while Jenelle ran off with various boyfriends, got addicted to heroin, etc. The kid will be eight years old next month, and Barbara still has full custody of him . And, according to Jenelle, that’s why she’s “lost all respect” for her mother. Seriously. “We don’t talk much,” she admits in a new interview with Us Weekly. “We only talk about Jace and meeting up to drop him off or pick him up and other than that, we aren’t talking.” The issue, she says, is that she’s “frustrated” that Barbara just won’t give her custody of Jace. “I told her,” she claims, “if you want to be back in my life in any way, you can give me back my son and we can start from there.” “As long as I don’t have Jace, I don’t see us having a real relationship.” Does Jenelle not understand anything ? It’s not like Barbara can simply change her mind and give Jace to Jenelle — she’s not keeping him to spite her. She stepped up when Jenelle was in a really dark place, and she’s been the only real parent Jace has ever known. And really, it’s only been a year or so since Jenelle’s had her life together. For several years, she was completely out of control. As she admitted in another recent interview, she almost died of a heroin overdose — shouldn’t she be grateful for Barbara and how she’s dedicated so much of herself to Jace when she couldn’t? Also, just a couple of months ago, Jenelle agreed to an official visitation schedule for Jace. Instead of going to trial and possibly getting custody of her son — the thing she’s said she’s wanted for years — she agreed to go to mediation with Barbara, and their lawyers worked out their new schedule with the new rules . That was her opportunity to get Jace back, but she’s still saying she’s waiting on Barbara to just hand him over. Again, does she not understand anything?! In the interview, she also says that “Ever since the court date, I haven’t filmed with her. I think it’ll just be pick up and drop offs unless my director really pushes.” “As for me and my mom on camera together having a conversation? No, you won’t be seeing that.” Which is sad, because we did see them have a nice moment in a sneak peek for the upcoming season. We should have known it wouldn’t last. Florida Man Arrested For Speeding And Possession of Marijuana And Ecstasy Not only was Tyler Doidge, 21, speeding and transporting drugs —he was also high AF off of them… Monroe County Police Sheriff, Matthew Cory, pulled Tyler over for driving more than twice the speed limit and became very suspicious upon noticing the beads of sweat on Doidge’s forehead. Via FLKeysNews: “This is not normal behavior since the outside temperature [was] near 75 degrees. I have a protective vest and long pants on and I was not sweating,” Cory wrote. “Doidge was wearing a tank top and shorts. On the same evening I conducted three other traffic stops and none of those drivers appeared to be sweating.” A sweaty forehead and the aroma of weed lead the police to search Doidge’s 2008 Buick Lacrosse where they found 3 ounces of marijuana and 318 ecstasy pills with happy faces stamped on them. Good ole Tyler, who was obviously nervous and high, told police he was delivering the drugs to some friends and they, in turn, were providing him with a free vacation. He also admitted that he had smoked some of the goods along the way. When asked how the tweeds measured up on a scale of 1 to 10, he gladly responded that they were an “8” and worth $200 per ounce. SMH after the speeding ticket and “self-snitch” fest, Tyler Doige landed himself a few felonies including possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of 10 grams or more of phenethylamines (ecstasy), and use of paraphernalia to transport drugs. Joni Sledge, a founding member of the popular R&B group Sister Sledge, was found dead Friday in her home in Phoenix, Arizona, according to publicist Biff Warren. She was 60 years old. The cause of death is unknown at this time, but Warren told CNN that Sledge was not sick at the time of her passing. The news came as a shocking tragedy to those close to her. “Yesterday, numbness fell upon our family. We are saddened to inform you that our dear sister, mother, aunt, niece and cousin, Joni passed away yesterday,” reads a statement on the band’s Facebook page. It adds: “Please pray for us as we weep for this loss. We do know that she is now eternally with Our Lord.” Along with siblings Debbie, Kim and Kathy, Joni formed the Sister Sledge in 1971. The group was based out of Philadelphia, yet struggled for years before finding success. The group is likely best remembered for the 1979 dance anthem “We Are Family,” along with such hits as “He’s the Greatest Dancer” and “My Guy.” Speaking to The Guardian last year, Joni said the following of the group’s early years: “The four of us had been in the music business for eight years and we were frustrated. We were saying: ‘Well, maybe we should go to college and just become lawyers or something other than music, because it really is tough.'” But the popularity of “We Are Family,” considered to be a female empowerment track that preached unity, changed everything. The song was nominated for a Grammy and the album on which one could listen to it sold more than one million copies. It peaked at number-two on the Hot 100 and topped the R&B and disco charts. At one point, years later, Kathy left the group for a solo career, but the trio of sisters continued to play concerts and record, including a performance for Pope Francis in 2015. They last took the stage together in October and were scheduled to perform a show on March 18; a series of European performances was also on tap. Joni Sledge is survived by an adult son, her sisters and other family members. May she rest in peace. So you know how Justin Bieber goes through these phases where he's completely terrible and then slightly reasonable and apologetic for his terrible ways? Yeah, we think you can guess which phase he's in right now. And if you can't, well, just remember that last month, he allegedly headbutted a guy in a restaurant because he had the audacity to try to take a video of him. And look, we get it. Privacy is important, and as a very very famous person, Justin doesn't get much of it. It must be tiring to not be able to go out in public without having a phone shoved in your face. Unfortunately, there are good ways to handle it and bad ways to handle it . Headbutting is a bad way to handle it. Another bad way to handle it is what Justin did in this new video. Justin is in Australia now on his Purpose tour, and while he was out and about, a group of fans noticed him and tried to take some photos. When one girl asked for a picture, he told her “Look at your respect level. Look at you. You make me sick.” Too rude, right?
