Miley Cyrus was Saturday Night Live 's musical guest. But it was not her voice or song selection that turned heads. No — Twitter made it very clear that her eye-catching wardrobe choice was driving viewers to distraction. She wore a very shiny jacket … and nothing underneath. No shirt and no bra. Miley did not have a nip slip, thanks to some very praise-worthy wardrobe choices. But audiences weren't so confident of that, and they kept their eyes glued in awe and nervousness during Miley's performance. Take a look: 1. First, here was her look She looks great as she performs beside Mark Ronson. But was she courting disaster? 2. Viewers were amazed Anyone else old enough to be having flashbacks to Jennifer Lopez’s infamous dress? If you’re ready to feel ancient, know that J Lo’s dress was at the Grammy Awards in 2000. 3. It was distracting Distracting, in this case, refers to the tension as the audience wondered if her boob was going to pop out on live television. 4. Others vowed to remain focused Even the people concentrating on her voice had to acknowledge that she pulled off one hell of a look. 5. People watched in wonder We should point out that, if your nipples are capable of grasping and clinging to fabric, you may want to talk to a doctor. 6. Of course, how she did it is no real mystery Ever since the J Lo incident — which was nearly 19 years ago — people have known that double-sided tape is usually the trick. View Slideshow
Source: ANGELA WEISS / Getty Pete Davidson Alarms Fans After Posting Concerning Messages To IG Some cryptic messages had fans and celebrities alike worried about SNL ‘s Pete Davidson on Saturday, which he posted before quickly deleting his Instagram page completely. Following Kanye West’s tweetstorm the previous day, where he addressed mental illness and his desire to desire to destigmatize it, Davidson–who is diagnosed with borderline personality disorder–posted a note saying that he doesn’t “want to be on this Earth anymore” before another note praising Kanye for his bravery in speaking out against mental health. In the first, now-deleted note, Pete wrote, “i really don’t wanna be on this earth anymore. i’m doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don’t know how much longer i can last. all i’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so.” No matter what we think of celebrities or public figures, Pete Davidson is a human being who deserves to live. The thousands of hurtful comments to him are shameful and inhumane. Please know Pete, that you are loved by millions. Most of all, your family loves you unconditionally. pic.twitter.com/t5EFwCboEd — Eugene Gu, MD (@eugenegu) December 15, 2018 This was followed by Davidson’s post praising Mr. West for his bravery in which he wrote, “Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health. I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.” The first sentiment is what really got people worried, and though some people posted negative comments on Pete’s actual post before deletion, the rest of the internet seemed to rally behind Davidson with celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Kid Cudi, and Jada Pinkett-Smith all reaching out to the comedian. Machine Gun Kelly even hopped right on a plane to fly to New York and make sure his friend was okay, since many who reached out were reporting that his phone was turned off. Pete Davidson … hang in there. There is a lot of help out here. Surrender to some love some where around you … today! Right now! And then … let in the help that will become available. I’m praying for you Pete. I’ve been there. It gets better. — Jada Pinkett Smith (@jadapsmith) December 15, 2018 im in the plane now on the way to see Pete. gonna make sure he’s good, i promise. can’t have my boy in the darkness like that. — colson (@machinegunkelly) December 15, 2018 As it turns out, it looks like Pete was at Saturday Night Live rehearsal while this all went down, and he actually ended up appearing on the show last night for a brief moment to introduce the show’s musical guest. Along with other celebrities, Davidson’s ex Ariana Grande also seemed concerned about his Instagram posts, releasing tweets apologizing for joking about Kanye and then seemingly showing up at 30 Rock in case Pete needed anything. Grande’s now-deleted tweets read, “”i’m so sorry i told a dumb joke,” she said. “i really didn’t mean any harm. all i want everyone to be healthy and happy. so desperately. please. my god,” she posted regarding her tweets about listening to her new single instead of watching grown men argue online. Her next tweet read, “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything,” said the following tweet. “I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but i’m here too.” TMZ confirmed that Grande was at 30 Rock, where Saturday Night Live is taped, to see Davidson if she got a chance. After so many calls from fans, the police did end up pulling up at SNL to do a welfare check on Pete, confirming that he was OK following the scare before he appeared briefly on the show last night.

Heading into Saturday Night Live this weekend, a nation waited with anticipation over what Pete Davidson would say about his break-up with Ariana Grande . The comedian and the singer dated for a whole few weeks earlier this summer prior to getting engaged, public displaying tons of affection — and then splitting about four months later. Grande was so prepared for some jab at her expense on air that she actually released a track just before SNL aired that beat Davidson to the punch, referencing him and other exes as well. So… what did Davidson say about the pop singer during his stint on Weekend Update? “I know some of you are curious about the break-up, but the truth it's nobody's business, and sometimes things just don't work out, and that's OK,” he told viewers, concluding of Grande: “She's a wonderful, strong person, and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world. Now please, go vote on Tuesday.” That was it, meaning Davidson avoided controversy and actually came across looking very well, right? Oh, no. Oh, so VERY wrong. Earlier in the segment, Davidson sat behind the Weekend Update desk and mocked the appearance of a congressional candidate whose eye was destroyed while he served in Afghanistan. “This guy is kinda cool, Dan Crenshaw,” Davidson said alongside a photo Crenshaw, a Republican. He continued: “You may be surprised to hear he's a congressional candidate from Texas, and not a hit man in a porno movie.” “I'm sorry, I know he lost his eye in war, or whatever,” he added. “Whatever.” Not exactly whatever , Pete, the entire Internet basically said at once. You thought it was worth making a pirate joke at a veteran's expense simply because he wears an eye patch? That's both offensive and just plain lazy. “Good rule in life: I try hard not to offend; I try harder not to be offended,” Crenshaw himself Tweeted in response. “That being said, I hope @nbcsnl recognizes that vets don’t deserve to see their wounds used as punchlines for bad jokes.” There was also this response from National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Jack Pandol: “Getting dumped by your pop star girlfriend is no excuse for lashing out at a decorated war hero who lost his eye serving our country. “Pete Davidson and NBC should immediately apologize to Dan, and to the millions of veterans and military families who tune in every weekend — because they're not laughing.” As of this writing, neither Davidson nor NBC has issued said apology. Watch the wildly inappropriate joke in the video featured here.
For nearly three weeks after Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson broke up , both parties managed to keep any hard feelings toward one another under wraps. But last night the dam broke in a big way, confirming earlier reports that Pete and Ariana did not part ways on good terms. The airing of grievances began in unexpected fashion with a promo for this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live . Standing alongside host Jonah Hill and musical guest Maggie Rogers, Davidson cracked a joke about his famous tendency to jump the gun when it comes to popping the question. Take a look: Pete Davidson Jokes About Ariana Grande Breakup No doubt it hit a little close to home for Ariana, but ultimately, Davidson himself was the butt of the joke, not Grande But Ariana didn’t see it that way, and she vented her frustrations on Twitter to the amusement of her massive, largely Pete-hating fan base. “For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh … thank u. next,” Grande wrote in a pair of since-deleted tweets. But while that may be the first time Ariana has publicly trash-talked Pete, sources close to the singer say her inner circle has been aware of her feelings toward the comic for quite some time. “Ariana is straight up tired of Pete talking sh-t. She left him because he is arrogant, self-centered, selfish and an attention-seeking assh-le,” one insider tells Radar Online. “Everything he is doing right now just confirms to her that she made the right choice.” “Everyone told Ariana that Pete was using her for his own career gain and this just goes to show that everyone was right,” the source adds. “Ariana just wants Pete to go away and her family feels the same way. They just want him to get lost.” While they may not get their wish entirely, it seems Ariana’s decision to speak out against her ex has had the desired effect in one regard. Production sources at SNL have confirmed that Pete has decided not to go ahead with a sketch planned for this week’s show that would skewer his short-lived relationship with Ariana. We guess that’s a victory for Team Ari. Of course, Pete has made a name for himself by mining the more painful aspects of his personal life for material, so you can be sure it won’t ne long before he publicly addresses his A-list romance yet again. Alec Baldwin is taking some heat for saying something kind of dumb to The Hollywood Reporter. Okay, actually: Alec Baldwin is taking A LOT of heat for saying something VERY dumb to The Hollywood Reporter. The actor is featured on the latest cover of this publication, touching on nearly every topic of his personal and professional life in the feature story. But it’s one story he tells in particular, along with his reaction to that story, that has nearly all of Twitter rolling its collective eyes. At one point while speaking to Baldwin, writer Lacey Rose says that an African-American man named Tyrone approaches Baldwin and compliments him for his role of Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live. Writes Rose of the encounter: “Though he’s waving and pointing and causing something of a scene, the often-irritable Baldwin doesn’t mind a bit. “In fact, he calls Tyrone over and the two begin cracking each other up. It’s hard to tell who’s enjoying the other more.” Baldwin says this sort of interaction happens “incessantly” these days, elaborating in annoying detail: I don’t know how to say this and I don’t want to get it wrong either, because everything is a minefield of bombs going off, but ever since I played Trump, black people love me. They love me. Everywhere I go, black people go crazy. I think it’s because they’re most afraid of Trump. I’m not going to paint every African-American person with the same brush, but a significant number of them are sitting there going, ‘This is going to be bad for black folks.'” Almost as soon after the article was published online Wednesday, Baldwin was met with major backlash on Twitter. He may not have wanted to paint every African-American with the same brush — but then maybe he should have tried not doing exactly that. Alec Baldwin needs to stop talking for black people , reads one tweet, while another agrees: When liberal white men get too comfortable
Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic/Robert Kamau/GC Images Pete Davidson Blasts Kanye On “SNL” Pete Davidson is as fed up with Kanye West as the rest of us. The SNL star blasted Kanye during the Weekend Update segment of Saturday Night Live” as he reflected on Kanye’s appearance last week where he made that headzz Trump speech. “Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass,” said Davidson. He also clapped back at Kanye’s claims that he was told not to wear his “Make America Great Again” hat. “He wore it all week,” Davidson said. “Nobody told him not to wear it. I wish I bullied you. I wish I would have suggested that it might upset some people, like your wife [Kim Kardashian West] or every black person ever.” Bloop! You know it’s bad when Ariana Grande’s bae is going off.
Source: Supplied by WENN.com / WENN Pete Davidson has had enough. The Saturday Night Live comedian read Kanye West the riot act about last week’s off the cuff, ill-informed post-show pro-Trump speech by the rapper. In a serious but acerbically comical tone, Ariana Grande’s boyfriend tore Yeezy a new one while on the “Weekend Update” segment of Saturday’s (Oct. 6) episode. Davidson refuted Yeezy’s claim that he was bullied about wearing the MAGA hat, explained why he shouldn’t wear the hat, detailed why he shouldn’t speak about politics, urged him to actually take his medication and more. But perhaps the most poignant comment was when Davidson said, “Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass, okay?” Where is the lie? Watch the segment below. Hopefully, someone passes the message on to Kanye West since he is now off social media , again.
