Jokes On Draco: Soulja Boy & His Grizzled Gucci Headband Get Spoofed On SNL [Video]

SNL Spoofs Soulja Boy Saturday Night Live is really making an effort to keep up with the times — and what better way to show that you’re in the know than to spoof Big Draco. Cast member Chris Redd gave a hilarious Soulja Boy interpretation on Weekend Update and even announced his candidacy for the 2020 Presidential Election, “Man I got to fix this. You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to run for President. Yeah. ‘Soulja Boy Crank That 2020.’ Obama? Obama? Man, that dude been stealing my bars. ‘Audacity of Hope?’ That’s Soulja. That’s me.” Looks like Big Soulja did have the biggest comeback of the year.

Pete Davidson To Kanye West: “Being Mentally Ill Is Not An excuse To Be a Jackass”

Read the original:

Source: Supplied by WENN.com / WENN Pete Davidson has had enough. The Saturday Night Live comedian read Kanye West the riot act about last week’s off the cuff, ill-informed post-show pro-Trump speech by the rapper.  In a serious but acerbically comical tone, Ariana Grande’s boyfriend tore Yeezy a new one while on the “Weekend Update” segment of Saturday’s (Oct. 6) episode. Davidson refuted Yeezy’s claim that he was bullied about wearing the MAGA hat, explained why he shouldn’t wear the hat, detailed why he shouldn’t speak about politics, urged him to actually take his medication and more. But perhaps the most poignant comment was when Davidson said, “Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass, okay?” Where is the lie? Watch the segment below. Hopefully, someone passes the message on to Kanye West since he is now off social media , again. Nicki Minaj Mocks Kim Kardashian Nude Photos, Explains Magazine Mishap

Nicki Minaj often shows off her giant boobs on the Internet. But that’s nothing compared to the Kim Kardashian nude spread in Paper Magazine that went viral just a couple weeks ago, an event the artist parodied during an appearance on Saturday Night Live last night. Stopping by The Weekend Update desk and impersonating Kardashian, Minaj explained that the photo shoot was “completely misinterpreted” by the public. Why? Because the pictures didn’t include their originally-intended backgrounds. Nicki Minaj Mocks Kim Kardashian on SNL See, one of the images was meant to be a “a public service announcement about getting regular checkups from your gynecologist,” as the screen then cut to one of Kim’s infamous naked pics… with a physician superimposed in front of the star. And what about the cover shot of the champagne shooting over Kim’s rear end? “Let’s see it with the right background,” Minaj said, as SNL then showed a chalkboard with complex mathematical equations on it. This fake Kardashian said the bell curve above her beloved butt was “part of a math competition for high school seniors,” adding, “Spoiler alert: X = full frontal.” Pretty funny stuff all around.  Peep the video above and then relive the Kim Kardashian naked pictorial via the following gallery: Kim Kardashian Paper Magazine Photos 1. Michael Che Jokes About Street Harassment of Women: Funny or Foul?

Michael Che’s recently attempt to be funny hasn’t just fallen flat. It’s placed the new Saturday Night Live cast member in a firestorm of controversy. In response to a viral video released this week by Hollaback! – in which a woman is catcalled over 100 times in 10 hours while walking quietly down the street – Che wrote the following on Facebook: “i wanna apologize to all the women that ive harassed with statements like ‘hi’ or ‘have a nice day’ or ‘you’re beautiful.’ i cant image what that must feel like.” He then continued to poke fun at what many believe to be a real issue of sexism, saying men get harrassed sometimes as well. “the closest thing I’ve experienced is maybe when a girl recognizes me from tv and they say things like “AHHHH!! OH MY GOD!! SNL SNL SNL!! TAKE A PICTURE!! TAKE A PICTURE!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! WHATS YOUR NAME AGAIN?! THANK YOU!! WAIT SAY SOMETHING FUNNY!!'”, Che wrote, adding: “But even that is nothing like the harassment of having a complete stranger tell me to ‘smile.'” Che appeared briefly as a correspondent on The Daily Show before debuting behind The Weekend Update section SNL this fall. Many have called for the comedian to apologize (for real) because they see catcalling as a legitimate problem; as an example of men disrespecting women.  So far, however, Che has responded to this scandal with more humor. “can we all agree on cookies!! i think cookies are GREAT!!” he wrote on Instagram, later Tweeting: “i think some of u are misunderstanding that post. im simply just making fun of something that is important to a lot of people.” Okay, now that is funny. Take a look below at the video that prompted Che’s original joke and sound off: funny or foul? Woman Gets Catcalled by Many Men

FINALLY: ‘SNL’ Gets First Black ‘Weekend Update’ Host

Bill Hader Confirms Exit from Saturday Night Live

Come next year, Saturday Night Live will be without its Weekend Update anchor… and, now it’s been confirmed, it’s most entertaining Weekend Update guest. With Seth Meyers soon leaving to host Late Night , Bill Hader confirms he is also departing the iconic sketch comedy series. “It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point,” Hader tells The New York Times . “It got to a point where I said, ‘Maybe it’s just time to go.’” Arguably the show’s anchor over the past season, Hader is best known for portraying Stefon… and James Carville… and Vincent Price… and pretty much every game show host. He was promoted to full-time cast member in 2006 and was nominated for an Emmy last year. Hader has also had supporting roles in such films as Superbad and Men in Black 3 . The Ben Affleck-hosted season finale airs on Saturday, while it’s still possible SNL loses Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis before the fall.

Chris Christie on SNL: N.J. Governor Talks Hurricane Relief, Kicks Off 2016 Campaign?

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie appeared on Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update to chat with Seth Meyers about Hurricane Sandy relief and more. Chris Christie on Saturday Night Live While he ruffled GOP feathers by praising President Obama’s response to the storm, the outspoken governor’s crisis management earned him well-deserved bipartisan praise. Not that it didn’t come at a cost; Christie told Meyers he’s worn that same wet fleece for three weeks. At least New Jersey residents are patient, he noted … yeah, right. The famously blunt, combative 50-year-old got in some quality zingers at Seth’s expense, but saved his best barbs for “idiots” who ignored his evacuation orders. Christie gave the 2012 Republican National Convention Keynote Speech this summer and will undoubtedly be talked about as a major presidential contender in 2016. Should be go that route, appearances like this will only help his cause.

Rejoice! Tina Fey And Amy Poehler Will Host Golden Globes Together

Exciting news: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have won the hosting gig for the 70th Golden Globes Awards, where the SNL and Baby Mama / Mean Girls dynamic duo will almost certainly bring some pizzazz back to the proceedings following Ricky Gervais’s neutered performance last year. Fey and Poehler, longtime NBC stars, will host the network’s telecast of the Golden Globe Awards on January 13, 2013 at 8p EST/5p PST. Expect awesomeness. And maybe a rap . From EW : “Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year’s festivities is a major coup,” said Paul Telegdy, NBC’s president of alternative and late night. “Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama .” True, but let’s not overestimate how good Baby Mama was. It was aight . Fey and Poehler’s other best collaborations, on the other hand — from Mean Girls to SNL’s Weekend Update — are another story. But kudos for working the phrase “baby mama” into awards season, ladies! Are you as optimistic as I am for the Fey-Poehler Globes? Chime in below. [via EW ] Follow Jen Yamato on Twitter . Dark Shadows Slumps Behind History-Making Avengers

Johnny Depp wanted his and Tim Burton’s gothic vampire comedy Dark Shadows to be anything but Twilight . Mission accomplished, I suppose: The film fizzled into a very distant second place behind another jaw-dropping performance by The Avengers , which continued to rewrite the blockbuster history books in its second weekend. Your Weekend Receipts are here. 1. The Avengers Gross: $103,163,000 ($373,182,000) Screens: 4,349 (PSA $23,721) Weeks: 2 (Change: -50.3%) This week in record-breaking: En route to the $1 billion threshold — which it reached Sunday — Disney’s superhero juggernaut stole the distinction of best second weekend ever from Avatar (whose own mark was $75.6 million) and experienced the best-ever second-weekend hold by a film that opened to more than $120 million. (We’ll no doubt get obscurer and obscurer as this thing rolls on.) It also became the fastest movie to reach $300 million and then $350 million domestically. Most observers conclude that a top-three all-time berth is likely on the domestic front — displacing The Dark Knight — but perhaps more mind-blowing is the likelihood of Joss Whedon’s film to rocket all the way to No. 4 all-time globally — behind Avatar, Titanic and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 — within the the next week . And it’s still got Tuvalu’s GDP beat . What can one say, other than, “Good luck, Battleship “? 2. Dark Shadows Gross: $28,805,000 (new) Screens: 3,755 (PSA: $7,671) Weeks: 1 The long-gestating Burton/Depp reimagining of the ’60s/’70s supernatural cult-soap darling performed pretty much as well as you might expect a long-gestating Burton/Depp reimagining of the ’60s/’70s supernatural cult-soap darling to perform: Soft — at least soft by Burton/Depp standards , which have been good for at least twice Dark Shadows ‘ opening two of the last three times they got together (2010’s Alice in Wonderland and 2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ). Meanwhile, from atop its mountain of Avengers cash, Disney snickers knowingly in anticipation of the sixth installment of the lucrative Depp/Verbinski franchise it has on the way next summer in the way of The Lone Ranger AND the potential for Burton/Depp to rekindle their box-office fire with an Alice in Wonderland sequel. John Carter who ? 3. Think Like a Man Gross: $6,300,000 ($81,917,000) Screens: 2,052 (PSA $3,070) Weeks: 4 (Change: -22.3%) Meanwhile, how about that lucrative Tim Story/Taraji P. Henson partnership?! What? No? OK. 4. The Hunger Games Gross: $4,400,000 ($386,902,000) Screens: 2,531 (PSA $1,738) Weeks: 8 (Change: -21.3%) Gary Ross/Lenny Kravitz ? Ugh, fine . 5. The Lucky One Gross: $4,055,000 ($53,721,000) Screens: 2,839 (PSA: $1,428) Weeks: 4 (Change: -24.5%) Someone had to finish fifth. [Figures via Box Office Mojo ] Follow S.T. VanAirsdale on Twitter . SNL: ‘Nicolas Cage’ and Liam Neeson Team at Last

I’ve always had a weak spot for Andy Samberg’s impression of Nicolas Cage on SNL ‘s Weekend Update, which the show revived over the weekend to help pimp the NBC Universal property Battleship . This called for the appearance of that film’s co-star Liam Neeson — or Neese’s Pieces, or Tall Bono, or Leslie Nielsen, or whatever else Cage felt like calling the actor when he wasn’t wondering, “Which Jewish masseuse do I have pork to get a gig in this town?” Your mileage may vary, but hey. I laughed, and it’s Monday. Off we go.
