Katrina Pierson Claps At Bullet Necklace Haters With Fetus Tweet Another day, another loose-lipped Trump supporter… Katrina Pierson, a spokeswoman for Donald Trump , appeared on CNN last night and her necklace drummed up a lot of criticism. Pierson appeared on the news network to address Trumps opinions on Bill Clinton’s shady past, while wearing a necklace made out of linked bullet cartridges. Katrina Pierson returned to social media after her live appearance with tons of tweets like this about her necklace. The liberals freaking out about my accessories are sexist. They only approve of women in pant suits and jackets. Rand Paul Announces 2016 Presidential Bid

As expected, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul announced this morning that he will seek the Republican nomination for President of the United States in 2016. “I am running for president to return our country to the principles of liberty and limited government,” Paul, 52, wrote on his official campaign website. Running to “restore liberty and prosperity for ourselves and for future generations,” he is scheduled to declare his candidacy at a rally in Louisville, Kentucky. Before entering the world of politics with a Senate victory in 2010, Rand Paul owned his own ophthalmology practice and performed eye surgery for 18 years. He is the first U.S. Senate member to serve while a parent – his father, three-time presidential candidate Ron Paul – served in the House of Representatives. The younger Paul has served on the Health Education, Labor and Pensions, Homeland Security and Government Affairs and Small Business Committees. He also formed the Senate Tea Party Caucus and has been one of the higher-profile members of the GOP since arriving in D.C. a little over four years ago. Rand’s announcement comes on the heels of Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s presidential bid , announced on behalf of the Republican Party last month. Former Florida governor Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who are leading early public opinion polls, are also expected to get in the race. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is expected to announce his bid on April 13, while New Jersey Gov. The legendary Ron Burgundy, portrayed by Will Ferrell, anchored the entire KXMB evening news in Minot, N.D. on Saturday, and it was kind of a big deal. North Dakotans may have been shocked to see the San Diego mustached newsman in the anchor’s chair, but there he was, for the full half hour telecast! Will Ferrell Anchors Local News as Ron Burgundy The CBS-TV affiliate began with a quick video of shoppers eschewing big box stores and opting to support smaller businesses on Small Business Saturday. As soon as that story, read by weekend anchor Amber Schatz, was finished, the cameras showed her at the desk along with her surprise co-host. Sporting his trademark burgundy blazer and familiar voice, he declared “I’m Ron Burgundy, thank you for joining us tonight” before doing his thing. And by doing his thing, we mean that the Anchorman 2 star launched into real headlines before going off on tangents and head-scratching lines. “Amber, you look lovely tonight, are you married?” he asked his co-host, who replied that she’s not. “Well I am, so don’t get any ideas,” quipped Ron. Ferrell also expressed that he is very “fond” of mustaches right before another host asked Ferrell how long it took him to grow his famous facial hair. “This? About 20 minutes,” he noted dryly, man’s man that he is. The sequel starring Ron Burgundy and the rest of news team from America’s Finest City hits big screen on December 18, nine and a half years after the original. Oliver Stone Talks Savages, Pot and Vietnam: Drug Made Soldiers ‘More Conscious of the Value of Life’

Oliver Stone is certainly not afraid to court controversy. The two-time Oscar winner raised eyebrows with a sympathetic portrayal of Fidel Castro in his 2003 documentary Comandante , a less than sympathetic look at former President George W. Bush in W. and a positive chronicle of Latin America’s left-leaning presidents in 2009’s South of the Border and he’s long been outspoken on issues that win praise from the hard left and venom from the right. On the eve of his latest star-driven bigger budget release, Savages , Stone graced the cover of High Times magazine and over the weekend spoke of his own drug use, how it helped him through Vietnam as a twice-wounded soldier, and about his new movie opening Friday. In an interview with CBS This Morning Stone spoke sympathetically toward marijuana, which is at the center of his latest feature, and which he used while doing two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. “When I was in Vietnam, [pot] made the difference between being human and being a beast,” he said. “There were a lot of guys who were drinking and doing a lot of the killing that was so unnecessary and raping. The guys who did dope were much more conscious of the value of life.” Stone said he had served well, was a “good soldier” and added, “I wasn’t a slouch.” His latest crime-thriller is based on a novel of the same name by Don Winslow. Starring Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, Blake Lively, Salma Hayek, Benicio del Toro and John Travolta, the story revolves around two California marijuana growers who share a girlfriend who is kidnapped. The pair (Johnson and Kitsch) are then faced with confronting a Mexican drug cartel lead by Elena Sanchez (Hayek) and Miguel (del Toro) to rescue her. “I like power [stories], I like people who do the cat and mouse game,” Stone said. “You never get what you expect and that’s like life.” In order to prep for the film, Stone headed south of the border to get a proper feel for some real-life figures in the drug underworld. “Benicio and I hung out with some pretty heavy people on the other side of the border,” he said. “Don Winslow knows that world because he’s written other books about the subject.” Stone noted that “thank God” the cartels have so far had a limited role in cannabis growing in California since it’s still a comparatively small business vs. their much bigger and violent operations, but added: “Like California wine, the stuff being grown there is very high in its potency.” [Source: CBS This Morning ]
