Cory Wharton Is Back With Ex Girlfriend Taylor Selfridge And Fans Are SHOOK!

Trouble in paradise!  Well at least for all the Teen Mom OG fans who are not happy with Cory Wharton’s new relationship status .  The reality star confirmed early this week that he is back with his ex-girlfriend and former season 1 Ex On The Beach lover Taylor Selfridge. Meaning Cory is moving on from his baby mama, Cheyenne Floyd . And viewers are shook.  Cory and Taylor dated briefly after the show wrapped. And it’s not like everyone hates her…but no one loves her.  Fans who were hoping that Cory and Cheyenne would reunite expressed their frustration while Cory was on “baecation” with Taylor in Mexico.  He responded to the hate in a series of Instagram live videos: “Cheyenne’s a great person, a fabulous mother, and I’ll always have some love for Cheyenne but I’m not IN love with Cheyenne,” Cory said during one of the videos according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup .  “I have to do what I have to do and Taylor is the person who makes me happy. I’m sorry to disappoint some of y’all…if Y’all really want to see me happy, you’ll support me no matter what.” Before Taylor’s appearance on MTV’s Ex On The Beach , you may remember Taylor from Season 5 of Are You The One? – infamously known as the girl who took home the $1 million prize.  Taylor also appeared on season 6 of Are You The One? as the ex-girlfriend of contestant Joe Torgeson.  Her terrible reputation developed when she began terrorizing every one of Joe’s potential perfect matches, she was also outed for appearing on the past season while still in a relationship with Joe.  Defeating the whole purpose of the show — which is to find “true” love.  She’s also known for spitting on another one of Cory’s exes, Alicia Lavida, during an episode of Ex On The Beach . Cory admits that his new GF is “the most hated person on MTV, but she handles that s**t.” He then discussed his main focus, which is on his adorable daughter, Ryder.  “Why are y’all so mad? Listen, at the end of the day, Cheyenne’s gonna be with who she wants to be with, I’m going to be with who I want to be with,” he shared on social media.  “We’re still going to do the co-parenting thing with Ryder, so that’s that.” Cory told fans that Cheyenne is also in a new relationship and he’s “glad she’s happy.” “I give you the right to judge me off of TV…but at the end of the day, I’m not a dummy,” he continued. “I wish Cheyenne and her man all the happiness in the world. I am so happy she is happy.” “The worst feeling in the world was when I was talking to Taylor and Cheyenne wasn’t really talking to anyone. I didn’t enjoy that. She’s with someone new and she’s happy.” Cory added that Taylor and Cheyenne are not friends, but they are “civil.” And he also noted that Taylor is the one woman he has taken around Ryder.  Cheyenne later addressed the drama herself. “Everybody can calm down,” she said.  “Cory is still Ryder’s dad. Cory and I are friends, we don’t hate each other, we date other people, it’s OK.” “If you’re happy that’s all that matters,” she concluded.  Cory, of course, didn’t miss his chance to tease the next season of Teen Mom OG promising his followers “we’ve got some s**t coming.”  TMOG loyals are hoping all of this nonsense will stop and that Cheyenne and Cory will just get together already !  And create more attractive babies.  View Slideshow: Cory Wharton Unveils New Girlfriend, Gets Slammed by Teen Mom Fans

Teen Mom Mugshot Mayhem: Who’s Been Arrested?

Obviously, there are plenty of very good, upstanding citizens who happen to become mothers when they're young. There are even Teen Mom stars who are great moms and stellar people in general. But unfortunately, the same life circumstances that cause some teens to become moms also change their lives in other ways. Maybe that is why so many Teen Mom stars have mile-long rap sheets. This goes for the mothers, the baby daddies, and even the (grand)parents. Buckle up, because looking at these criminal histories is a ride. 1. Jo Rivera Isaac’s dad was arrested in 2011 for marijuana possession. 2. Devoin Austin Nova’s dad has multiple arrests, almost all of them are for or related to marijuana. 3. Some of Devoin’s arrests are for other things One was for breaking and entering, another was for possession of a controlled substance. 4. But mostly just for marijuana. A lot of his arrests are from 2013, but this mugshot comes from 2017. Pot doesn’t usually ruin lives, but arrests over it absolutely can. 5. Amber Portwood Amber was arrested in 2010 on multiple counts of domestic violence towards her ex, Gary Shirley. 6. She took a plea deal Amber got probation, which was a win for her … but it did not last. View Slideshow

Farrah Abraham SLAMMED By Fans For Exploiting Derek Underwood’s Death!

Long before she became the infamous Backdoor Teen Mom , Farrah Abraham was simply a midwestern teenager coping with some very challenging circumstances. It's hard to imagine now, but there was a time when Farrah was the most sympathetic star on 16 and Pregnant , having lost her boyfriend, Derek Underwood, in a car wreck while she was pregnant with his child. The years since have brought tremendous change to Farrah's life, but she still took time to remember Derek on the 10th anniversary of his death last week. Of course, Farrah being Farrah, she did so in a wildly insensitive fashion that outraged her social media followers. Take a look: 1. Cemetery Party! Farrah kicked things off with an oddly festive gathering at Derek’s grave. 2. Farrah’s Gonna Farrah We suppose every family mourns in its own way, but the bright colors and number 10 balloons to mark Derek’s decade in the grave seem like a bit much. 3. A Grave Occasion Video from the gathering indicates that the whole thing seemed to have sort of an uncomfortable vibe. 4. As Expected Farrah caught a fair bit of flak for trotting out her daughter to exploit the tragic death of a teenager. 5. It Gets Worse But it wasn’t the grave party that earned Farrah the harshest criticism. 6. Yikes No, that honor belongs to a photo of Derek’s mangled car after the fatal accident that Abraham decided to post to her Instagram story for some reason. View Slideshow

Amber Portwood: I Almost Killed Myself After Having My Baby!

It's no secret that Amber Portwood has had a rough life. We've been seeing snippets of it for years on Teen Mom OG. She's dealt with drug addiction, mental illness, abusive relationships (from both sides). She's even gone to prison. Yep, she's definitely been through some things, you know? Including, after giving birth to her second child earlier this year, postpartum depression so severe that she nearly committed suicide. 1. What a Ride Poor Amber, right? Well, sometimes. 2. What a Tragedy Amber sure has been through a lot, including the deaths of her little sister and her father. She also struggles with being bipolar and having borderline personality disorder. 3. Wow She’s also assaulted her ex-boyfriend, Gary Shirley, at least once in front of their daughter, Leah. 4. Yikes That assault led her to be sentenced to five years in prison. Well, that and drugs. 5. Double Yikes After serving a portion of her sentence, she was released, and she really seemed to have changed a lot. Then Matt Baier creeped his way into her life, and things were bad for a couple of years again. 6. Thank God She miraculously realized just how big a creep he was, and last year she kicked him to the curb after they filmed Marriage Boot Camp together. View Slideshow

Bristol Palin to MTV: Stop Turning Me Into Farrah Abraham!

Bristol Palin is not here to take any responsibility. She's not here to shoulder any blame. And she certainly isn't here to apologize. Throughout her brief stint on Teen Mom OG, Palin has been at the center of more episodes than any other cast member. Makes sense, right? You don't hire the daughter of an ex-Vice Presidential candidate and then NOT feature her prominently. But Bristol has taken to Instagram in order to blast producers for her portrayal, arguing that they are making her look bad on purpose because they need her to be a controversial figure — just like the woman she replaced, Farrah Abraham. Is this accurate? Scroll down to read Palin's argument and to judge for yourself… 1. So Frustrated Bristol Palin is annoyed by the way she’s been portrayed on Teen Mom OG. She blames producers for editing footage in ways that paint her in a negative light. 2. Really, Bristol?!? The bulk of her time as a Teen Mom cast member has been spent arguing with ex-husband Dakota Meyer. Early in the season, she came across as not very understanding about his PTSD, which resulted from seeing many of his team members killed in Afghanistan. 3. What Prompted Palin’s Outburst? We can’t say for certain, but Meyer asked her on the latest episode of Teen Mom OG to call or text him when cameras were not around, accusing her of just wanting attention. 4. The Internet Has Also Turned Against Her Ratings for this season are way down and viewers don’t seem to care about Bristol’s exploits, perhaps because they dislike her mother so much. 5. What a Ditz! This is what someone wrote to MTV about Palin’s unwelcome presence on the franchise after Monday’s episode aired. 6. And This is What Bristol Wrote Back: “dumb.. if you’re going to criticize me, at least be grammatically correct.” She’s clearly very annoyed at the moment. View Slideshow

Teen Mom OG Recap: Catelynn Cries, Bristol Begs

On Teen Mom OG this week… … Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer went at it once again, arguing over their relationship and its affect on their kids. … Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra inched closer to their unusual and controversial trial separation. … Amber Portwood snapped at Andrew Glennon, just like old times. … Cheyenne Floyd and Cory Wharton stirred up even more drama as they grapple with their romantic future. … Oh, and Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney were totally fine and normal. Ready for a recap of the dramatic events? Scroll down and let's do this! 1. The Ballad of Bristol and Dakota We’ll start with the most dysfunctional (former) couple of all, as Palin called her ex-husband this week because she hoped they could be “”adults about the situation,” considering three kids were at the center of it. 2. Can We Just Move On, Please? “I know there’s been a lot of hurt and a lot of pettiness on both of our behalfs,” Bristol told Dakota over the phone. “I want to get off on a different foot so we can work together for our girls.” 3. Not Like This, We Can’t Meyer, who did sign up to appear on a reality TV show, didn’t appreciate Brisol reaching out as part of an episode. “Pick up the phone, text me when there’s not cameras around,” he shot back. “Show me that you’re gonna have genuine intentions and it ain’t just for the show to start some drama.” 4. dakota v. bristol Bristol replied she wanted to do it on camera so they’d have “a level of accountability,” which is pretty lame and dumb and untrue, before Meyer agreed to meet up with her to talk about things further. (But not on this episode.) 5. How Was I Ever Married to Her?!? After the call, Meyer vented to a producer as follows: “Bristol’s like a kid. She’s more worried about the court of public opinion than getting in there and let’s be parents to the kids. That’s what the show has done to her. She’s more focused on the show and her image than she is about the best interest of the kids. The kids are fine, this is the pettiness that I have to look forward to forever.” 6. Poor Catelynn Catelynn and Tyler, meanwhile, were preparing to start their separation , as Tyler was getting ready to move out. View Slideshow

Teen Mom OG Recap: Roll With the Punches

Teen Mom OG  serves as a great reminder that baby daddy drama can be forever. Both Bristol and Cheyenne grappled with very different types of baby daddy drama. And Amber, who gave the episode its title, was taking up boxing as therapy to ward off  yet another Instagram meltdown . Bristol was grappling with baby daddy Levi Johnson’s refusal to sign off on Tripp’s  Dancing With The Stars: Junior  contract. “Levi refused to sign this contract,” Bristol claimed. “Saying that he has zero interest in the money that Tripp makes.” Bristol accused: “He’s had this document for two months now.” “All these triggers with my baby daddies…they all come from money,” Bristol lamented. She then confessed: “I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong to have all these terrible relationships.” Sometimes, terrible people date terrible people. Water always finds its level. So why was Bristol’s first baby daddy balking? Levi himself, who was kind of entertaining for a while in 2008 but never deserved to be played by Justin Gaston on HBO’s  Game Change , explains. “Don’t play that on me…you sent me a piece of paper with no contract to look at, so I didn’t know what I’m signing,” Levi countered. Levi said: “That’s not how it works.” Bristol, however, thinks that Levi is missing the urgency of the situation. “Tripp’s not being paid until that contract is signed,” Bristol grumbled. In the end, Levi did sign it, and surprised her with cash for half of the plane ticked back to Alaska. Then there was Catelynn and Tyler, who were having some communication issues as they discussed going to couples counseling. “He’s bad at saying what he needs to say in the right way,” Catelynn noted. “He just comes across really sharp,” she explained.  “I’m a feeler, so I feel that intense like, holy s–t, someone’s pissed off,” she continued. Catelynn was quick to clarify: “It’s nothing huge or detrimental to our relationship.” Being hypersensitive to the moods of others, especially to tone of voice, is an extremely common symptom of PTSD. One of the issues that they were having was how Nova had refused to leave Catelynn’s side for so long. They were concerned about her separation anxiety when Catelynn left to do a show about adoption. Ultimately, their biggest worry as a couple was about continuing to process old wounds. Having given up their child for adoption when they were just 16 and then remaining together as a couple has really left some emotional scars. They did resolve that they can get through anything, including bringing up these sensitive topics in therapy. Amber Portwood spent some time letting off some steam with some boxing. She has taken up the sport as therapy for her bipolar depression and her anger issues. After  Amber’s latest tirade  in which she threatened violence and used slurs, it’s a relief to see that she has an outlet. “I got a four month old baby!” Amber shouted after  So this would have been filmed in, what, early-ish September? Amber had confessed to partner Andrew Glennon that she was not an athletic child. She then went on to hold her own while boxing. Afterward, she was very emotional as she spoke to Andrew. “Meeting you, and the people that you surround yourself with, uplifts me to know that I can do more in life,” she confessed through tears. That is very sweet. Though her recent social media tirade shows that she still has a lot of ground to cover. Cheyenne Floyd was having baby daddy drama, just like Bristol. Unlike Bristol, her drama also involved her current beau. These problems with boyfriend Zach came up when baby daddy Cory Wharton wanted her to bring their daughter Ryder to visit him. “I feel like Cory is more of a priority than me,” Zach accused. “I just feel like the way you treat him versus you treat me,” Zach said. “It’s not the same. There’s no comparison.” In Zach’s eyes: “It’s almost like you’re more so in a relationship with him.” “If I had a baby’s mother and she asked me to go out there and spend time, you would not be OK with that,” he suggested. If you’ve ever whispered  break up with him  at a television screen, you know how rare it is for people to listen. Cheyenne, however, did just that. She did not have time to poultice his bruised ego. She’s a mom. “Right now, that’s my focus,” Cheyenne explained. “Ensuring that I have a good coparenting relationship with Cory.” She explained that it’s important “that Ryder has a good relationship with her dad and his family.” “So,” she concluded. “If my relationships, if my friendships … if my personal relationships suffer because of it, I will take that right now.” Cheyenne and Zach are broken up, at least for now. Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra Reflect on Adoption Nine Years Later

Despite the theories spun by Teen Mom fans, Tyler Batlierra is not leaving Catelynn Lowell . They have another baby on the way! They gave up their first child for adoption. In this new Teen Mom OG sneak peek, Tyler and Catelynn grapple with the bittersweet occassion that is their firstborn's birthday. “It's been almost a year since we've seen our daughter, Carly,” Catelynn says in a voiceover. “But today is her birthday,” Catelynn narrates. “It's usually a hard day for us, so we always try to celebrate it in a positive way.” There are a couple of awkward moments as they eat their salads before they speak on the phone to Dawn, their adoption counselor. They talk about Nova and her ability to understand that it's Carly's birthday. Nova, of course, is only three years old, so immediately asked when the party would be, and if they would have cake and ice cream. Dawn suggests that they send a Nova video to Carly, and Tyler says that it's already in the works. The conversation, which had so far been lighthearted, turns more serious. Dawn praises Catelynn and Tyler, telling them how proud she is of how they're taking this milestone in stride. Adoption can be a difficult process for everyone involved, even though no one questions that they made the right decision. And the two of them have really made great progress in handling the situation with a healthy perspective. As Tyler admits when Dawn comes over to speak to them in person, he and Catelynn weren't always so chill about it. “I think some of our old expectations were unrealistic,” Tyler admits. “Like, [we] signed our rights off,” he says, referring to signing away their parental rights nine years ago. “A couple of years ago,” Tyler confesses. “I was on the other side.” By which he means that he felt entitled to parental rights that he does not possess. Tyler gives an example: “I was like, ‘You wouldn’t be parents if it weren’t for me.’” “It’s acceptance of what role I really play in this child’s life and this family’s life,” Tyler says of his current perspective. Dawn, their adoption counselor, knows that Carly's birthday is a big deal. She walks them through how they might speak to Carly's parents. “If I can advise you in any way,” Dawn says. “I would say a soft landing would be a good thing.” Dawn suggests: “Maybe starting a conversation with, ‘What’s Carly doing today? How are things going with her at school?’” “You love to brag about Nova,” Dawn notes. “She’s gonna love to brag about Carly.” Dawn concludes: “I think that’s gonna be an easier entry into a conversation.” Tyler and Catelynn then speak about the various traumas that they have experienced. While most of Catelynn's PTSD arises from her childhood, as is most often the case, it's not the only source. The adoption that she and Tyler went through as teens was another trauma in her life. That is very understandable. Being conscious of that can be tremendously helpful. Catelynn's miscarriage, she says, was a trigger for a lot of that trauma to resurface in her mind. Catelynn and Tyler have demonstrated more personal and emotional growth than a lot of their co-stars. We're not going to pretend that either of them are perfect. If they didn't have flaws, they wouldn't work as reality stars. But they've really worked hard on themselves and on their relationship. That deserves some recognition.

Tyler Baltierra Opens Up About Childhood Sexual Trauma

In a reality TV franchise famous for shining a spotlight on some atrociously unfit fathers, Tyler Baltierra has been a welcome change of pace for over a decade. Catelynn Lowell's husband has long been a favorite of Teen Mom OG fans, particularly after they witnessed the way he supported his wife during her struggles with PTSD. And Tyler's strength in the face of such difficulties is all the more impressive due to the considerable traumas he's suffered himself — traumas that he opened up about in a surprisingly candid interview . Take a look: 1. The Face of Courage Throughout his time on Teen Mom OG, Tyler has been admirably forthcoming about his painful past. 2. Tough Times While Tyler has never blamed his parents for his present difficulties, he’s been open about the fact that he grew up in an unstable household and has carried his childhood scars into adulthood. 3. A Supporting Role Of course, Tyler’s struggles often receive less attention from TMOG fans and producers than those of his wife, Catelynn Lowell. 4. The Strong, Silent Type And that’s probably quite alright by Tyler, who generally seems to put his family ahead of himself. 5. Opening Up But while he doesn’t thirst for attention like so many reality stars, Tyler also doesn’t shy away from sharing the most intimate and painful details of his life. 6. Moral Duty “I feel, with my platform, I have a moral obligation to help people,” Tyler once remarked, and in talking about the pain of his childhood sexual traumas, he’s attempting to do exactly that. Ryan Edwards, Still in Rehab, Misses Bentley’s 10th Birthday

If you’re a Teen Mom fan, especially one who’s been following the show since the beginning, brace yourself … Bentley Edwards just turned 10. Doesn’t that make you feel about ten million years old yourself? Maci Bookout’s little boy just had his 10th birthday, which means that MTV has been following her life story for just over a decade. She was featured in the very first episode of 16 and Pregnant — remember that? It aired in the summer of 2009, and it was an intense series premiere, to say the least. In that episode, we saw Maci as a high school student who’d gotten knocked up by her older boyfriend, Ryan Edwards. They had fun together, and she clearly wanted to have a real family with him, but even then, he just wasn’t that interested. From the very beginning though, Maci proved herself to be a great mom , stepping up to take care of baby Bentley and doing the best she could to give him a good life. When Teen Mom started up and showed her life in more detail, she quickly became a fan favorite, as did Bentley. We saw her deal with Ryan staying out all night and refusing to do pretty much anything for their child . By the end of the first season, she dumped him, thank goodness. As the years went on, Bentley did have a relationship with Ryan, but mostly because of Ryan’s parents, who have always doted on Bentley. But Maci was always there, and because of her, he’s grown to be a sweet, funny, darling little boy. Except he’s not so little anymore, huh? To celebrate his big day, she shared a sweet photo of them together on Instagram: And the caption she wrote to go along with the picture … Well, if you tear up, it’s only natural. She kicked things off by announcing “My baby turned 10 today!”, and then things got real cute, real quick. “This boy has brought me more love than one soul could imagine, more laughter than my cheeks can handle, and more pride than I deserve,” she wrote. “When I say ‘He is a good one’ … I mean it.” She explained that Bentley is “as smart, funny, and athletic as they come,” but those aren’t his best qualities. “He is a good one because he is kind to everyone and loves with his whole heart,” she said. “I am so proud of this young man and the human being that he is.” She finished her message off with “Bentley, you rock buddy! You’ll always be my baby.” And her followers arrived in droves to join in on wishing him a happy birthday. “Happiest of birthdays, Bentley!” one of them commented. “You’re 10?! I can’t believe I’ve been watching you and your strong mama’s story for this long.” “My heart is so full!” another fan wrote. “Maci you’re amazing and Benny is so very blessed to have you as a mom!” Tons and tons of people left simpler, but still very sweet, “Happy birthday!” messages, including Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska. And others couldn’t help but mention Ryan and his absence. See, Ryan has been in rehab since the beginning of the month, at least. Reports have claimed that he’ll stay there until next February or March, so it’s likely he’s doing six months of treatment. We still don’t have a lot of information on it, so there’s no word on if it was court-ordered or not. But we do know that he missed the birth of his first child with wife Mackenzie Standifer , so court-ordered or not, he seems to be taking it seriously. And since he the day of his second son’s actual birth, of course he missed Bentley’s birthday, too. “What an amazing young man you’re raising, in spite of daddy issues,” applauded one of Maci’s followers. “Congrats on making it 10 years Maci!” another wrote. “You did it! Without Ryan.” “You’re raising a good boy despite his dad not being there. Good job!” As one person pointed out, since Ryan’s been a “useless dad,” she can “take the credit for how perfect he’s turned out.” Someone else said that “It’s not easy being a momma with a baby daddy that isn’t worth a piece of [poop emoji].” It’s true that Ryan has never been very active in Bentley’s life — like we said earlier, if it weren’t for his parents, who knows if he’d be around at all. View Slideshow: Ryan Edwards’ Parents: We’re So Afraid He’ll Relapse But hopefully all the treatment he’s getting now will help him be a better father than he’s ever been. And when he comes home sometime a few months from now, he’ll be able to fully appreciate what a great family he has. Happy birthday, Bentley!
