Sanaa Lathan Responds To “Backing It Up On Kobe” Rumors!

Read the original:

Actress Sanaa Lathan, has been linked to celebs like Denzel Washington and Drake, but now she is being accused of “backing it up” on Kobe Bryant at a recent “Watch The Throne” concert. Bryant, who is being divorced by wife Vanessa, has been known to cheat so this would come as no surprise…that is, if we believed for one second that Sanaa is a home-wrecker. The Daily News reported: “According to our source, Lathan, 40, who’s the voice of Donna Tubbs on “The Cleveland Show,” came to the concert with a girlfriend, and Bryant, 33, who was with teammate Matt BarnesKim Kardashian , Beyoncé and Jake Gyllenhaal were among the other celebs in attendance. and a bodyguard, were initially seated on adjacent couches in the club-like friends-and-family VIP area behind center stage. Eventually, Lathan and Bryant ended up standing next to each other, and that’s when our source said the actress, who was drinking champagne, became progressively more flirtatious with the NBA star, who stuck to soft drinks, presumably because he’s in training. Lathan, attired in a sexy white-chiffon dress over what appeared to be a black bra, was “whispering in his ear” and at one point stroked the ballplayer’s face. “It seemed like a pretty intimate gesture,” says the source. At one point she left her seat and when she came back, she made sure she was standing next to Kobe again,” says the source She also danced to Jay-Z and West’s performance in front of Bryant. “She was throwing her head everywhere. Her hair was like slapping him in the face,” laughs the source, who adds that at one point, one of the straps of Lathan’s dressed slipped enticingly off her shoulder. When West performed “All of the Lights,” Bryant and Lathan danced together.” Sanaa responded on Twitter saying: Can a girl have some fun at a jayz/kanye concert w/out being linked 2 a breakup? I AM NOT, NEVER HAVE BEEN, INVOVLED W/KOBE IN ANY WAY. Anybody who pays attention knows I’m not his type… Blank stare. #blackgirlsrock #dontbelievethelies How Kobe’s Wife Found Out About His Alleged Cheating Vanessa Bryant Files For Divorce From Kobe

Which Hollyweird Actress Was Spotted Rubbing Her Assets On The Black Mamba At WTT Concert Last Week?

Looks like Kobe Bryant will never be lonely. Not if bangers like this one keep throwing themselves at him. Kobe Bryant’s impending divorce may come as good news to Sanaa Lathan. A source who attended Jay-Z and Kanye West ’s Watch the Throne concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday tells us that the luscious-lipped “Love & Basketball” actress was flirting seductively with the Lakers guard during the show. “She touched his face, and she was shaking her a– in front of him to the music,” says the insider. Bryant’s spokesman, Michael Sitrick, says Bryant and Lathan were “both at the concert,” but he adds: “There was no flirting. There’s nothing there.” According to our source, Lathan, 40, who’s the voice of Donna Tubbs on “The Cleveland Show,” came to the concert with a girlfriend, and Bryant, 33, who was with teammate Matt Barnes and a bodyguard, were initially seated on adjacent couches in the club-like friends-and-family VIP area behind center stage. Kim Kardashian , Beyoncé and Jake Gyllenhaal were among the other celebs in attendance. When West performed “All of the Lights,” Bryant and Lathan danced together. Sitrick denies this however, saying, “There was no touching of the face, and he did not dance with her.” Despite Lathan’s attentions, the source noted that Bryant seemed “moody” and “down,” and the two seemed to go their separate ways. Bryant’s glum disposition may have had to do with his wife, Vanessa Bryant ’s, decision to initiate divorce proceedings after 10½ years of marriage. The case was filed in Orange County Superior Court on Friday. We’re pretty sure Kobe stopped checking for Sanaa’s “type” over a decade ago. He’s been stepping out on ‘Nessa with Becky’s but we haven’t heard a word about any sisters, so we’re pretty sure even if she was rubbing on him it was all in good fun. Speaking of good fun, Sanaa you can rub up on us anytime, and won’t even have to worry about snakebites! Source More On Bossip! More Basketball Wives Beef!!! ‘Glee,’ ‘SNL,’ ‘Modern Family’ Rack Up Emmy Nominations

‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Mildred Pierce’ help HBO lead the pack with 104 nominations. By Aly Semigran Dot-Marie Jones and Matthew Morrison in “Glee” Photo: FOX The nominations for the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced at the crack of dawn Thursday (July 14) — 5:40 a.m. PT, to be exact — and while reigning Outstanding Comedy Series champ “Glee” is currently undergoing some major casting shake-ups, the show’s ensemble still did well in the nominations department. Last year’s Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series winner Jane Lynch, who is also hosting the ceremony this year, will once again try for a supporting Emmy, as will Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer. 2010 nominee Lea Michele did not garner a nomination this time around. The musical dramedy also won nominations for guest stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Kristin Chenoweth and Dot-Marie Jones. As expected, there were some major upsets and shockers in each Emmy category, but perhaps none more apparent then the wildly popular HBO drama “True Blood” being shut out of all major categories, including Outstanding Drama Series and all major acting races. Actress Melissa McCarthy ‘s year, on the other hand, just continues to get better. In addition to her star-making turn in the breakout comedy “Bridesmaids,” McCarthy became a first-time Emmy nominee for her work on the sitcom “Mike & Molly.” The actress got the news firsthand as she, along with “Fringe” star Joshua Jackson, announced the nominations for the 2011 Emmy Awards Thursday morning. But the stunned McCarthy wasn’t the only one to have a good morning in Hollywood. McCarthy’s “Bridesmaids” co-star Kristen Wiig garnered her second nomination in the Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category for her work on “Saturday Night Live.” She’s up against the women of “Modern Family” and Betty White for “Hot in Cleveland.” “SNL,” which was nominated for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series, also brought some good luck to Justin Timberlake, who earned four Emmy nominations. The “Friends With Benefits” star was nominated for his appearance as host (he’ll go against the likes of Matt Damon and fellow “SNL” host Zach Galifianakis in the guest category) as well as winning three nominations for his musical contributions including “Jack Sparrow” and the Lady Gaga-featured “3-Way.” “SNL” vet Tina Fey found herself a double nominee thanks to her “SNL” hosting appearance and another Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series nomination for her work on “30 Rock.” But no comedy series cast had a better morning than the “Modern Family” ensemble. The show racked up an impressive 17 nominations, just behind cable dramas “Mad Men” (19 nods) and “Boardwalk Empire (18), with the entire cast (well, the adults, anyway) — Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ty Burrell, last year’s winner Eric Stonestreet and first-time nominee Ed O’Neill — all nominated in the supporting-actor/actress comedy series categories. Several stars were rewarded with nominations for their final year of work on their respective series. Steve Carell, who departed from Outstanding Comedy Series nominee “The Office” (which is competing against “The Big Bang Theory,” “Glee,” “Modern Family,” “Parks and Recreation” and “30 Rock”) towards the end of its seventh season, garnered another nomination in the Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series (Carell has never won). Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton of “Friday Night Lights,” whose final season wraps up this year, both earned lead acting nominations in the drama categories. “FNL” also scored with a nomination in the Outstanding Drama Series category, against “Boardwalk Empire,” “Dexter,” “Game of Thrones,” “The Good Wife” and “Mad Men.” Newcomer “Game of Thrones” did well for HBO, the most-nominated network this year. In addition to the drama nod, the series adapted from George R.R. Martin’s books also found a nomination for Peter Dinklage in the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series race. Other notable actor nominees this year include Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”), Michael C. Hall (“Dexter”), Amy Poehler (“Parks and Recreation”) and Kate Winslet (“Mildred Pierce”). HBO’s “Mildred Pierce” is the most-nominated work for 2011. Check out more nominees below, and for nominations in all Emmy categories, visit Emmy.com . The 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on Fox on Sunday, September 18, at 8:00 p.m. Reality Competition: “The Amazing Race,” American Idol,” “Dancing With the Stars,” “Project Runway,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Top Chef” Reality host: Tom Bergeron (“Dancing With the Stars”), Cat Deeley (“So You Think You Can Dance”), Phil Keoghan (“The Amazing Race”), Jeff Probst (“Survivor”), Ryan Seacrest (“American Idol”) Animated Series: “The Cleveland Show,” “Robot Chicken,” “The Simpsons,” “South Park,” “Futurama” Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series: “The Colbert Report,” “Conan,” “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” “Real Time With Bill Maher,” “Saturday Night Live,” “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” Related Videos Musical ‘Glee-Caps’ Of Season Two

T-Pain and will.i.am also will voice characters in ‘Terry Unmarried.’ By James Dinh Theodore (voiced by T-Pain) and Bernard (voiced by will.i.am) with Rallo (voiced by Mike Henry) on “The Cleveland Show” Photo: FOX Justin Timberlake is no stranger to lending his voice to animated characters. The singer-turned-actor, who celebrated his birthday Monday (January 31), recently hit the big screen as Boo Boo Bear in the CGI film adaptation of “Yogi Bear.” And in just a few weeks, fans will be able to catch JT voice a different kind of character in an upcoming episode of “The Cleveland Show,” airing February 20 at 9:30 p.m. on Fox. According to a press release, Timberlake’s guest-starring episode will be called “Terry Unmarried” and revolve around two big revelations in Cleveland’s personal life. Things take a turn when Cleveland discovers that his wife, Donna, never legally divorced her ex-husband, making their marriage illegitimate. Soon after, he finds out that his best friend, Terry, is gay and has been dating a man named Paul (voiced by Timberlake). With the recent developments, the foursome decides to travel to Vermont for a double wedding ceremony. The episode also will feature Theodore (T-Pain) and Bernard (will.i.am) explaining to Cleveland’s stepson Rallo why he should break a nasty habit. In October, Fox reps confirmed to MTV News that Timberlake will voice two characters : Paul, the boyfriend of Terry, and a “singing booger,” appropriately named Booger, who belongs to Rallo. Even though the episode has yet to air, the pop star has already earned himself a fan in “Cleveland” creator Rich Appel. Speaking with Us Weekly, the writer raved about the star’s voice appearance, gushing, “Justin is just hysterical!” Back in December, JT spoke about his decision to primarily focus on his long list of Hollywood projects . “They’re looking at me like, ‘Why aren’t you staying with one path?’ ” the star told the Los Angeles Times , referring to fans’ criticism to his shift in career avenues. “They look at me like I’m ungrateful for my music career because I want to do film.” Are you excited to see JT on “The Cleveland Show”? Kanye West To Return To ‘The Cleveland Show’

Lindsay Lohan and John Mayer get called out in some preview rhymes from season-two premiere. By Jayson Rodriguez Kanye West and Cleveland Jr. on “The Cleveland Show” Photo: FOX Kanye West is set to reprise his role as Kenny West on “The Cleveland Show” in the show’s season-two premiere. According to Entertainment Weekly, West’s character is down on his luck after being a rapper on the rise and the title character, Cleveland Brown, is attempting to help the high school artist make a comeback. The animated pair work on a track titled “Be-Cleve in Yourself” that will supposedly mark Kenny West’s comeback. “Not long ago, I was lower than Lohan,” he raps. “No plan, a lost man, raising my little girl in a Cadillac Brougham/ My quest success, but my life was a mess/ Poor Kenny West, no zest, and he depressed/ Not dressed to impress/ Matter fact, more stress than John Mayer waiting on his AIDS test.” In May, Kenny West first popped up on “The Cleveland Show” at a rap battle. His character was a hot shot who butted heads with Cleveland Jr. over West’s girlfriend. The two traded cheap shots, and their feud came to a head at the big dance when they directed lyrical barbs at each other. “It’s Kenny sippin’ Henny/ Rhymes slicker than Teflon,” West boasted. “The school been high, I’m the black Zac Efron/ And when I meet a shorty, you know we going backwards/ Pulling more tail than my man John Edwards/ Lumpy, chunky, boogie-eating chump, B/ Acting out of place like Hootie singing country/ Leave my girl alone and get your own tenderoni/ Come on, who are we kidding?/ You’re used to being lonely.” Junior fired back, though, with a takedown rap of his own. “Mess with me, homeboy, you don’t wanna risk it,” he spits. “I run you like Mrs. Freemon’s god-awful brisket.” In trademark fashion,

Singer/actor will also portray a ‘singing booger’ on a February 2011 episode, Fox confirms to MTV News. By Mawuse Ziegbe Justin Timberlake Photo: Christian Petersen/ Getty Images Justin Timberlake has been steadily at work building his Hollywood career and will show off his acting chops once again in an upcoming episode of “Family Guy” spin-off “The Cleveland Show.” Fox reps confirmed to MTV News that Timberlake will voice two characters: Paul, the boyfriend of Terry (voiced by “Saturday Night Live” and “30 Rock” actor Jason Sudeikis), as well as a “singing booger” belonging to Cleveland’s stepson Rallo, aptly named “Booger.” The episode is scheduled to air in February 2011. Timberlake is already earning rave reviews for his work as Paul. “Terry falls in love with a guy voiced by Justin,” “Cleveland” creator Rich Appel told Us Weekly. Appel added that Timberlake turns in a hilarious performance: “Justin is just hysterical!” Timberlake’s voice-over work is just the latest in a range of roles for the singer-turned-actor. He has reportedly been offered a role opposite Amanda Seyfried in the sci-flick “I’m.mortal,” in which people don’t get older than age 25. The singer has also been spotted filming the flick “Friends With Benefits” with Mila Kunis in New York and will hit the big screen in the David Fincher-helmed movie “The Social Network.” Timberlake plays Napster co-founder Sean Parker, who had a hand in the launch of the social-media phenomenon Facebook. Timberlake told MTV News last year that he was excited to work with Hollywood heavyweights Fincher and Aaron Sorkin on “The Social Network.” “To be honest, David Fincher is so ridiculously genius that we’re all just following his lead,” Timberlake said. “I think we want to tell the story, and I want to tell it through Sorkin’s words and Fincher’s eyes. I think Aaron did a lot of research on all of it. I don’t want to speak for another actor, but I think the consensus for all of us is that we just want to make a great film.” What are you expecting from Justin Timberlake’s “The Cleveland Show” appearance? Kanye West ‘Cleveland Show’ Preview Pops Up Online

‘Kenny’ West challenges Cleveland Jr. to Auto-Tune-assisted rap-off in upcoming episode. By Jayson Rodriguez Kanye West and Cleveland Jr. on “The Cleveland Show” Photo: FOX Kanye West by any other name is still not to be messed with. Just ask Cleveland Jr. from “The Cleveland Show.” The animated series’ soft-spoken teen puts the move on a classmate in a clip from an unaired episode circulating online. Things get interesting when Cleveland Jr. finds out his crush is dating the Chicago rapper, who voices his own character. “It’s Kenny sippin’ Henny/ Rhymes slicker than Teflon,” West raps, during a musical confrontation with Cleveland. “The school been high, I’m the black Zac Efron/ And when I meet a shorty, you know we going backwards/ Pulling more tail than my man John Edwards/ Lumpy, chunky, boogie-eating chump, B/ Acting out of place like Hootie singing country/ Leave my girl alone and get your own tenderoni/ Come on, who are we kidding?/ You’re used to being lonely.” Earlier this year, it was reported that West would appear in an episode scheduled to air May 2 on Fox. According to show co-creator Rich Appel, West is a longtime fan of “Family Guy,” for which Appel was co-executive producer. “The Cleveland Show” writers developed a concept for the rapper and pitched it to him, Appel said. West, to their surprise, agreed. The multiplatinum artist, however, is less successful in his animated universe than he is in real life. “Kenny” West is still trying to find his way. In the limited preview, after serving Cleveland Jr. in rhyme, Kenny challenges the youngster to an Auto-Tune-enhanced sing-off, only to discover his counterpart can “sound like a robot” — with no aid. As of press time, the rapper was only scheduled for one guest spot. But Appel told People magazine in March that he would welcome West’s return to the show anytime, heaping praise on the MC for his contributions. “We just recorded him in the booth, and he was fantastic,” Appel said. “Once he read it a couple times through, he just owned the character, which I guess isn’t hard since he was named Kenny West. He said he’d be glad to [be back]. I said we could write him into the next 21 episodes!” What do you think about Kanye’s animated alter ego? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Kanye West
