Shiggy made the shocking announcement on his Instagram page. He posted a message saying, “Stop asking me to dance… I’M DONE”. As expected, no one in his comments really took him seriously. Many of his celebrity fans laughed off his plea. One follower said, “Nah bro, you gotta dance! At least do it for the kids”, to which Shiggy replied, “Nah, I’m done for real. Shit not fun no more. You could see it in my eyes.” For what it’s worth, Shiggy has been looking miserable with the on demand dancing for a while now. In a recent video, Harlem rapper Dave East demanded Shiggy dance on cue. At first, Shiggy attempted to play it off as if he didn’t hear him, but that didn’t stop the chants. Needless to say, Shiggy did what he was told. Source: Westend61 / Getty Man Fakes A Fall At Work And Gets Charged With Fraud A man from New Jersey has officially been charged with fraud after surveillance footage showed him faking a “slip and fall” at his former workplace, according to reports from CBS . The (honestly kind of hilarious) video shows 57-year-old Alexander Goldinsky purposely turning over a cup of ice onto the floor of his office’s break room. After then throwing the cup in the garbage, he walks back over and steps on an ice cube, and very unconvincingly “falls” on the floor. The man stayed there, laying on his back until he was discovered, CBS reports. Following this poor attempt at some insurance money for his “accident,” Goldinsky was later arrested on January 15 and charged with insurance fraud and theft by deception since, ya know, the fall seems completely non-accidental . The incident took place last year at an unidentified company in New Jersey, where Goldinsky was employed as an independent contractor. Following his arrest, he was released with a summons until he has to go to court in February. “Yes, I was brought to the police department,” he said to CBS New York. “I didn’t do it, it was a mistake.” But, on the contrary, authorities believe that the footage clearly shows he faked the fall. Following the incident, Goldinsky filed a claim for an ambulance and medical care at a hospital for the injuries he allegedly suffered. This is still an open and active investigation, according to prosecutors. The New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal is taking a bigger interest in cracking down on insurance fraud within the state, according to CBS New York. Nicki Minaj just released a brand new music video and according to her fans, she’s definitely TRASHING fellow rapper, Drake. The video for her Queen track ‘Hard White’ dropped today on February 1 and naturally, her fans aren’t wasting any time to decode and dissect every possible savage moment. At one point in the visual, a scorpion appears and then dies as it fractures into a ton of tiny pieces. Scorpion was the name of Drake’s full-length album in 2018 and of course, fans are connecting the imagery as a hidden nod to the artist. The Barbies took to Twitter to express their feelings about the so-called diss, according to Hollywood Life. Another fan said, “Did Nicki really say f**k Drake like that like that?” While some fans had no sympathy saying “finish him.” Fans also thought her song ‘Barbie Dreams’ was a diss at Drake when she rapped “Drake worth a hundred milli, always buying me shit/but I don’t know if the p***y wet though or if he crying and s**t” Minaj clarified saying “with ‘Barbie Dreams’, you guys do know that is not a diss, right? You do know people I said on ‘Barbie Dreams’… I said things about people who I know can take a joke and who I know can’t be emotional with it.” So, maybe killing the scorpion symbol is just a harsh joke, or maybe it has no connection at all. OR maybe the Barbz are actually on to something here. Minaj also seems to throw some shade at the Grammys. “I’m the trophy of the game, everybody tryna win me,” she raps as she holds a gramophone. According to E! Queen missed the eligibility period, so Minaj will not be considered at this year’s ceremony. Despite the Grammy snub, the album did go platinum earlier this month. But anyway, back to more ‘important’ news: Whether you think Nicki is making a dig at Drake or just thought a scorpion was a cool idea you should still check out the video. When we reported that Farrah Abraham would appear on Ex on the Beach , we warned that she'd be awful. What we did not yet know at the time is that Farrah would also be violent. After getting into a physical fight on last week's episode, Farrah continues the feud by flushing the other woman's shoes in the toilet. Gross. Farrah Abraham made waves on last week's episode when she stuck her nose into everyone else's business. Things came to a head — or, rather, to a crotch — when kicked Nurys in the groin . Please do not do that for ratijngs, or for any other purpose except to save your life. Security swooped in and Farrah had a bit of a timeout, and this week's episode picked up where last week left off. (To be fair, both Nurys and Janelle also had to spend nights in hotels — good for Ex on the Beach for having a strict no-violence policy) This week, Farrah and Nurys confronted each other for an “apology.” In the mean time, remember those Free Farrah posters that the other castmates had made while Farrah went to court? (This was a court appearance over Farrah's arrest for battery , trespassing, and resisting arrest in June of last year) Nurys tore down the posters. Rude, but … understandable. If Farrah's court battle seems like something that should discourage her from further brawling, you're not alone. Cheyenne Parker pointed out that Farrah was the last person who should be fighting people. “She's in a very precarious legal situation right now,” Cheyenne notes. “She probably shouldn't be kicking anyone right now.” As you can imagine, when Farrah found the torn shreds of posters, she took it very calmly. Just kidding! “Don't attack all of my amazing amazing signs that my housemates spent their time on making for me!” Farrah demands. “Disrespect me, disrespect my stuff,” Farrah warns. “You will not be respected and karma's a b–ch.” She flushes Nurys' shoes in the toilet, which is just extremely gross. “Don't threaten me; don't trip me; don't f–king attack me,” she cautions everyone. Farrah insists “I'm just staying away from literally everything, everyone and f–k 'em.” “I don't have to apologize,” Farrah insists to the camera. “Because I reacted like a normal human being,” she claims. Quick note: we are struggling to think of a single time that Farrah has reacted like a normal human being to anything, ever, in her life. Farrah continues: “But better than a normal human being, because a normal human being wouldn't have stopped f–king hitting her.” Even the show's voiceover points out that Farrah is out of touch with reality. And then we get to the “apology.” When she and Nurys do come face to face, Farrah quickly becomes incensed. “I apologize for you insulting me, for touching me,” Farrah very angrily and loudly tells Nurys. “And I'm the bigger woman,” Farrah asserts. “I'm the woman who knows what really happened.” Farrah then insists: “You're out of control!” Curiously, she is not saying that into a mirror. She then angrily walks away. When Farrah dismesses Nurys as “trash,” Nursy responds, speaking to Farrah's retreating back. “B–ch, you're the trash!” Nurys points out. “You kicked me in the vagina because I was having a conversation with someone.” Farrah, still walking away, is still trying to grasp the upper hand. “Get a hold of yourself, out of control groupie,” Farrah says. “She's still lying,” Farrah accused. “And a trashcan. She's a whore.” “I know I'm a bigger person,” Farrah asserts. “Do I need to apologize to someone who put that on themselves?” she asks. “Who called that for themselves?” “Who f–king deserves worse than what she got?” she asks, then answering herself: “No.” Yikes.
Source: John Lamparski / Getty Danish pop group Lukas Graham is facing some backlash after the band decided to cover XXXTentacion ‘s song “Sad!” The late rapper was facing several legal charges at the time of his death and admitted to a lot of the violence he’d been accused of, according to tapes posted by Pitchfork back in October. XXXTentacion was charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant victim , domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering—but Lukas Forchhammer, frontman of the aforementioned pop group, says he wasn’t aware. Now that he is, he’s having the Spotify session removed , according to Billboard . “Our cover of SAD will be taken down ASAP,” he wrote on Instagram, according to the site. “I had no knowledge of his violent history. Source: NBC / Getty Kenan Recalls His Super Bowl Experience With Kel Mitchell With the Super Bowl coming up, it’s fresh in everyone’s mind just how coveted ad expensive everything surrounding the big game is. From high-priced tickets to crazy Airbnb rates in Atlanta, people fly from all over the country just to witness the biggest game of the season–but back in their Nickelodeon days, Kenan Thompson and his partner-in-comedy Kel Mitchell weren’t so impressed. Kenan stopped by The Tonight Show this week and told an absolutely hilarious story about him and Kel receiving free Super Bowl tickets from their employer at the time, Nickelodeon. Spoiler alert: they don’t end up making it to the game, because they’ve got some other priorities.
Chicago police believe they have found the two men who assaulted Empire star Jussie Smollett early Tuesday morning. The 35-year old was targeted in a clear hate crime this week by two black-clad, masked men in Chicago’s Streeterville section near his home; they broke his rib, tied a rope around his neck and poured bleach all over him. Smollett was treated at Northwestern Hospital and remains in stable condition. He told authorities that the men screamed something about “MAGA country” during the assault, a reference to Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again slogan. Now, the cops have released a statement to accompany a couple photos they took off surveillance videos in the area. The photos depict two men walking on New Street near the intersection with E. Illinois Street between 1:30 AM and 1:45 AM on Tuesday. They’re approximately a block from the Subway restaurant Smollet had gone to Tuesday morning, roughly halfway between the restaurant and Jussie’s home. “Photos of people of interest who were in area of the alleged assault & battery of Empire cast member,” Chicago Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeted on Wednesday night. “While video does not capture an encounter, detectives are taking this development seriously & wish to question individuals as more cameras are being reviewed.” The images here are not very clear, of course. They were snapped from a distance and the suspects are not looking at the camera. Still, however, it’s a break in the case and technology can be used to enhance the images. “Given the severity of the allegations, we are taking this investigation very seriously and treating it as a possible hate crime,” the Chicago police said in a statement after the alleged attack. “Detectives are currently working to gather video, identify potential witnesses and establish an investigative timeline.” Smollet’s manager, Brandon Z. Moore, told police he was on the phone with Jussie during the alleged attack. He told cops that he clearly heard the MAGA remark, as well as other racial and homophobic slurs. (Smollett gave out as gay in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in 2015.) Smollett himself has not yet commented in public about the incident. However, we know he received a death threat in the mail eight days before the attack. Guglielmi previously said police had widened their search of surveillance cameras in the area surrounding the site of the alleged attack. He has described what authorities believe transpired as follows: The victim goes to Subway just after midnight and on his way back, he was attacked by two men. They were masked and wearing black clothing. They called him an Empire … and they used a homophobic slur. They also used the N-word. They proceed to assault him, and they throw a chemical on him that may have been bleach, and put a rope around neck. Guglielmi added that the actor returned to his apartment afterward and called his manager, who quickly made his way to Smollett’s home before taking him to the hospital. “The manager goes to the apartment, and they agree to call police. The manager called us at 2:40 a.m.,” Guglielmi added. Kevin Hart got slammed for doing so . Two co-stars have now spoken out as well. “Jussie’s anger will dissipate, and he will forgive these people for what they did,” Terrence Howard says. “But he won’t, and we cannot, forget their actions. They have to be forgiven because it was done out of ignorance.” He added: “Jussie’s the one that starts singing when everybody’s in a bad mood. He’s the one that cheers everybody up. He’s the one that does all the Instagrams if he catches you sleeping…. “Today, no one was caught sleeping. No one even took time to close their eyes and nap. “They were all in shock that our family—you know, the Fox family, the Empire family, the Lyon family—you know, were attacked by a bunch of hyenas today.” And then there’s this from Taraji P. Henson, who plays Smollet’s mother on Empire: I wish what happened to my baby was just one big bad joke but it wasn’t and we all feel his pain right now. @jussiesmollett is pure love to the bone AND THAT IS WHY SO MANY ARE FEELING HIS PAIN BECAUSE IT IS OUR PAIN!!!
