This morning, Joe Giudice was sentenced to 41 months in prison , stemming from his conviction on several counts of fraud, to which he pleaded guilty back in March. His wife – Teresa Giudice – was forced to wait several hours to find out her own fate, and just minutes ago, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star got what was coming to her: Teresa was sentenced to 15 months behind bars! Prior to their sentencing, the Giudices were reprimanded by Judge Esther Salas for being dishonest in financial documents requested by the court. Salas also stated that she was forced to delay the Giudices’ sentencing as they were several months late in filing the documents pertaining to the case. It’s unclear as to whether or not the late submission and missing information factored into the Salas’ decision to throw the book at the Giudices, but it couldn’t have helped. Sources inside the courtroom say the judge was very clearly not happy with the Giudices, and Teresa’s attempts to win sympathy were unsuccessful. Not too surprising as we’re talking about Joe and Teresa Giudice.
