Happy Death Day 2 U is about a character Tree who has to relive her hell all over again. We sat down with Jessica Rothe and Israel Broussard to discuss the film. A quick review and be careful about spoilers, Tree happens to be in another dimension where her mother is alive. Tree has to face the decision of either staying in this dimension or living in another where her mother is dead. Tree and her boyfriend Carter, and friend Ryan go through a constant spiral of dimensions in order to correct their wrongs. Their friend Ryan wakes up reliving his own day over and over, at first he thinks it’s a dream until Tree hears his story. Tree tries to help Ryan until his invention SISSY blows up and time hops her into different dimensions herself. Tree commits suicide over and over to help Ryan and his gang remember the right algorithm for SISSY to work again. Happy Death Day 2 U also makes the audience dig deep into their own feelings with life lessons. We follow tree go through a wave of emotions from inner peace, anxiety, sorrow, resentment, and self-acceptance. It was thrilling and comical, the comedic relief was perfectly planned throughout the film. The anticipation is high as we watch Ryan, Tree and Carter fight the baby killer and solve the algorithm repeatedly. As I watched the movie I found myself asking what things I had to let go of in my own life along with Tree. I had the pleasure of interviewing the cast of happy death day 2 u to ask what life lessons they carry on with them. Jessica Rothe said “There’s so many, I am close with my parents, especially with my mom, which we were able to use and draw on very heavily for the sequel of this film. The biggest life lessoned I learned was you have to show up every day in the world and treat people how you want them to treat you, which I Tree is learning in these movies. It was a good reminder and reset to take into the film. Israel Broussard said, “I try to see the good in people and I wanted that in Carter still, I grew up in a very Christian home, so that was very much instilled do on to others as you want done to you”. Happy Death Day 2U comes out just in time for a date, it will be in theatres on Valentines Day.

The Duggar family is constantly celebrating a new engagement and then, a short time after, a new wedding and marriage. And then children. The endless, endless stream of Duggar children. Part of that is ideology — the Duggars are diehard fundamentalists who believe in strictly controlling their children, even as adults. That means strict chastity and closely monitored courtships, which help motivate their kids to walk down the aisle without pausing to ask themselves what they want out of life. But this endless series of back-to-back weddings help to keep the Duggars relevant — or close enough. Let's take a look at how many of these Duggar kids have already been married off. Who's next? 1. First we have to start with … him Josh Duggar proposed to Anna on her birthday in 2008. They apparently followed all of the courtship rules, not even kissing until their wedding date. 2. And, even after it became global knowledge that Josh had molested 5 young girls, including 4 of his young sisters, they remained married. Even after everyone learned that he had cheated on Anna, they remained married. She is a prisoner of the culture in which she was raised. 3. Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Jill and Derick got engaged back in April of 2014. 4. Jill and Derick’s Wedding Jill and Derick got married on June 21 of 2014. That’s, what? A two-and-a-half month engagement? 5. Next up are Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Jessa and Ben (seen here AFTER their marriage — what do you take her for, some sort of scarlet woman?) got engaged on August 4 of 2014. though they had been courting for longer than Jill and Derick. 6. Tina Turner’s Oldest Son Commits Suicide

Terrible news today out of the music world: Tina Turner’s oldest son, Craig, was found dead at his home in Studio City, California at 12:58 p.m. this afternoon. He was 59 years old. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has confirmed this tragedy, telling multiple outlets that Craig was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities reportedly arrived at his residence just after noon and pronounced him dead just a short while later, at the scene. The aforementioned spokesperson told the press that a 911 call was placed, although it’s unclear just who made the call. Says the spokesperson in a little more detail: “The call was reported as a suicide, gun shot wound. The next of kin has been notified. There will be an autopsy done and there is an investigator at the scene.” Craig was born when Tina was 18 years old, prior to her up-and-down marriage Ike Turner. Once Tina and Ike were husband and wife, however, Ike adopted four-year old Craig. (His biological father was a saxophonist named Raymond Hill, who performed with Ike’s band.) This awful piece of news of comes as the legendary artist is making a rare trip outside her new home country of Switzerland to attend Paris Fashion Week events. Craig Turner worked in the real estate business in the San Fernando Valley. His mother is, simply put, one of the most successful and respected solo singers in history. She counts “What’s Love Got to Do With it” and “Proud Mary” among her best-known singles. Tina also starred in such movies as Mad Max: Thunderdome and Last Action Hero. Craig’s suicide, meanwhile, follows a sad rash of similar events around the entertainment world. Over the past few weeks alone, iconic fashiond designer Kate Spade has committed suicide, while beloved chef and author Anthony Bourdain has done the same. Both these stars took their own lives via hanging. Spade was 56 years old and Bourdain was 61. May they rest in peace and may Craig Turner rest in peace. Scott Peterson: Was He Plotting to Murder Amber Frey, Too?!

Despite the grisly details of Laci Peterson’s murder and Scott Peterson’s conviction and death sentence, there are still a few people out there who believe that Scott Peterson is innocent. (The comments that we got the last time that we wrote about this are evidence enough of the enduring controversy) We wonder what his defenders will think of the news that Scott Peterson allegedly planned to murder his mistress , too. … Yikes. So, to those of you who may have forgotten, Amber Frey was Scott Peterson’s mistress. She also testified against him in court. Even if you didn’t pay attention at the time of the trial or you were too young to have really been exposed to the coverage, you probably recognize Amber’s name. (And, not for nothing, but “Amber Frey” is one of the best names that we have ever heard, ever, in our lives. But maybe don’t go naming your kids that) It sounds like Amber might have never gotten the chance to testify if Scott Peterson hadn’t been apprehended while allegedly trying to flee south of the border. Scott Peterson looked completely different when he was captured. Law enforcement believed that he had disguised himself in order to flee to Mexico and avoid his trial. He didn’t make it, and now he sits on death row for the murder of Laci Peterson. Laci Peterson was 8 months pregnant. Their child would have been a son named Connor. His fetus was actually found before Laci’s body; investigators believe that the fetus had slipped out of her body while in the water. Laci’s body was also missing most or all of various limbs, along with her head. After such a massive search, it was a … grim find. Scott was convicted, but it sounds like might have done more than just escape if he hadn’t been caught. According to  RadarOnline , Scott Peterson was in possession of a map to Amber Frey’s home . Why, you might ask, would Scott need a map to the home of his mistress? Some apparently believe that he was planning to murder Amber Frey, too. You might wonder what Scott Peterson’s possible motive might have been. But you should remember that Scott Peterson had apparently claimed, weeks before his wife’s death, that he was a recent widower and that this Christmas would be his first without his wife. An absurd lie to tell, even if, at the time, he wasn’t planning Laci’s murder but simply trying to get a little sympathy. But after his wife’s death, one wonders if Scott ever thought about his past words and how they might be used against him. Unfortunately, we don’t know for certain why Scott Peterson might have had that map. We also don’t know even the exact cause of death behind Laci Peterson’s murder. Scott Peterson, despite everything, has maintained his innocence, even as he sits on death row, waiting for his lethal injection. Understandably, Scott would have little to gain from confessing now. And, as we’ve mentioned, he still has some avid supporters who believe that police jumped to conclusions. Hey, O.J. Simpson still has people who believe that he was framed. Audrina Patridge Details Horrific Abuse Claims Against Corey Bohan

The Audrina Patridge-Corey Bohan divorce has quickly taken a turn for the very ugly. Earlier today, we reported that the f ormer Hills stars were splitting after nearly a year of marriage and nearly nine years of being together overall. We weren’t sure why. We thought maybe becoming parents to a little girl naked Kirra last June had placed a strain on their marriage. It turns out, however, that the reason is far more troubling and insidious. On Monday, September 18, Patridge was granted a restraining order against Bohan for what a source describes to People Magazine as ongoing instances of “emotional abuse.” More specifically and most troubling, there was an incident in mid-April, legal documents claim, during which Audrina says Corey shoved her while she was holding Kirra in her arms. The couple was arguing about Bohan’s alleged infidelity when he proceeded to empty out her purse and punch himself in the head, threatening to do even more damage if she left him. This was the second time in a few weeks, Patridge claims, that Bohan had talked of suicide. She also references an incident on September 6, saying Bohan started calling her names and harassing her after she returned home. “Grow some balls and pull the trigger and file for divorce,” Bohan supposedly yelled at her at the time, prompting Patridge to call the police and file a report. Just over a week later, child protective services came to the residence to meet with her. This past weekend, Bohan showed up for a panel discussion Patridge was taking part in… followed her on stage … and demanded to know their daughter’s whereabouts. “I was shaking at this point,” Audrina says in her legal documents. She asked for a restraining order the next day. HOWEVER, Bohan allegedly showed up on September 19 and refused to leave Audrina’s home. He installed five video cameras around the premises to keep tabs on her and called her a “f-cking cunt.” “I am fearful of [Corey’s] temper because he cannot control his swearing and personal attacks on me, even when in the presence of our young daughter,” writes Audrina. The restraining order requires Bohan to remain at least 100 feet away from his estranged wife, his daughter and even his dog. As for the divorce, Patridge is demanding primary physical and legal custody of 15-month-old Kirra. She is asking a judge to shut Bohan down if he asks for spousal support. And, finally, she wants an order specifically prohibiting Bohan from taking Kirra to his native land of Australia. Talk about a terrible ending to what had appeared to have been a stable love story. Patridge and Bohan had been together since 2008, remaining close even throughout filming of The Hills, an unusual development for couples that appear on reality television. Alas, the relationship has ended on the most sour of notes. For the sake of their young daughter, let’s hope Audrina and Corey find a way to work this out as amicably as possible. Aaron Hernandez: Late NFL Star Suffered "Severe CTE," Autopsy Reveals

It’s quite possible that there’s no more tragic story in the history of professional football than that of Aaron Hernandez. Back in 2015, Hernandez was convicted of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Odin Lloyd. In April, the world was shocked by the news that Hernandez had taken his own life inside his cell at the Souza-Barankowski Correctional Facility in Lancaster, Massachusetts. Today, Hernandez’s autopsy results have been made public, and they confirm what many who followed his case closely have long suspected. Doctors have revealed to The New York Times that the 27-year-old was suffering from CTE, a brain injury that’s shockingly common to football players. According to the Times a team of neurologists stated that their examination revealed “the most severe case they had ever seen in someone of Aaron’s age.”  Sadly, the news does not come as much of a surprise. CTE has had devastating effects on innumerable football players, both professional and otherwise. The condition has been linked to the suicides of Junior Seau  and Tyler Sash, the decline of late New York Giants legend Frank Gifford, and countless other NFL stars. It seems impossible that we’ll ever understand the full impact of the disease on America’s best-loved sport. But today, we know a little bit more about the devastating impact it’s had on Aaron Hernandez, Odin Lloyd, and their loved ones. Now, Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, is suing the NFL and the New England Patriots as a result of the diagnosis. Lawyers for Jenkins claim “Aaron had stage 3 CTE usually seen in players with a median age of death of 67 years.” The suit filed this afternoon claims that the Patriots “were fully aware of the damage that could be inflicted from repetitive impact injuries and failed to disclose, treat or protect him from the dangers of such damage.” Attorneys say that Jenkins, who has a 4-year-old daughter with Hernandez, is seeking “redress for the loss of parental consortium she has experienced based on the negligent conduct of Defendants that deprived her of the companionship and society of her father, Aaron Hernandez.” The suit concludes by stating bluntly: “On April 19, 2017, Aaron succumbed to the symptoms of CTE and committed suicide.” We’ll have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available. Aaron Hernandez: High on Drugs at Time of Suicide?

It’s been one week since former New England Patriots tight end and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez was found dead in his cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts. While certain key questions about Hernandez’s suicide have been answered by the ensuing investigation, many more have arisen. Most of those questions concern Hernandez’s mindset in the moments before he decided to hang himself hang himself with a bed sheet. Curiously, the suicide happened just days after Hernandez was acquitted on double murder charges. He was already serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole at the time of the verdict, but there was hope amongst Hernandez’s attorneys that the acquittal would improve his chances of being found not guilty on appeal. Much of the speculation about Hernandez’s final days has centered around his alleged prison love affair with Kyle Kennedy , a fellow inmate at Souza-Baranowski. Sources say Hernandez was devastated when his request to share a cell with Kennedy was denied, and in his already-fragile emotional state, the news was more than he could take. Now, a new factor in the 27-year-old’s tragic decision may have emerged thanks to a Newsweek report that claims Hernandez was high on synthetic marijuana at the time of his death. According to the report, medical investigators found evidence of the drug known as K2 in Hernandez’s system during a kidney fluid screen. It may seem unlikely that marijuana would cause someone to take their own life, but in many cases, synthetic substitutes are marijuana in name only. It’s also been speculated that Hernandez may have experienced highly unusual reactions to THC and other drugs due to the presence of CTE or other brain injuries incurred on the playing field. At one point, his attorneys planned to argue in court that past violent incidents had been prompted by Hernandez’s marijuana use.  Officials suspect that a liquid version of K2 was smuggled into the prison by an associate of Hernandez’s. An investigation has been launched into how the contraband wound up in his cell. Prison authorities say the drug is notoriously difficult to intercept, as such a small amount is needed to get high that it can be sent undetected through the mail. Officials may never found out how the drug ended up in Hernandez’s possession or whether it played a role in his decision to commit suicide, but the fact that he was under the influence is just one more strange detail in an increasingly macabre case. By now, you’ve probably heard the news that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are dating. In a way these two are such a perfect match it’s hard to believe they took so long to get together. Their mashup couple name even seemed to announce itself, fully-formed on the day that the news of their relationship went public: J-Rod. Perfection. After several years with an unknown backup dancer, (sorry, Casper Smart ) Lopez was back to dating a dude close to her own level of fame. Of course, the relationship is also more than a little surprising, as A-Rod’s fame comes with a healthy dose of infamy. The guy is widely despised by baseball fans as a result of doping allegations, massive paydays that were rarely justified by his on-field performance, and reports of generally douchey behavior. From a PR standpoint, he has far more to gain from this relationship than J-Lo does. So it’s not surprising that sources close to the couple say there’s a serious power imbalance, and Jen has the upper hand. According to Radar Online, Lopez has issued Rodriguez a lengthy list of demands that he must meet in order for their relationship to continue. “It reads like some kind of style bible,” one insider reveals. “He’s totally under her thumb.” It sounds far-fetched, but if there’s anyone in Hollywood we can imagine issuing a “style bible” to new boyfriends, it’s J-Lo. Despite the demands of the relationship, sources say Alex is happy to be offered the chance to serve as Jen’s arm candy. “He’s very lucky she’s giving him the time of day, given his bad reputation,” one tipster claims. Prior to this relationship, Lopez briefly dated Drake , and the fling apparently taught her some important lessons about the challenges of dating high-profile, successful men. “Jen’s not making the mistakes she made with Drake and Alex is banned from being seen with any other woman under the age of 40,” says the source. But A-Rod’s code of conduct doesn’t end with the company he keeps: “She’s also given him an approved wardrobe list and a list of instructions on where to stand next to her on red carpets,” one insider claims. “It’s even got the expected number of hours they’re to spend together in a week.” Damn, Jen. Clay Adler, Former MTV Reality Star, Commits Suicide

Clay Adler, a model and television personality best known for his former role on MTV’s Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County, committed suicide while on hanging out with friends last month. He was 27 years old. The ex-reality star was likely best known for his leading role on the aforementioned series. It premiered on August 13, 2007 and concluded on January 2, 2008, serving as a successor to Laguna Beach. The program chronicled the lives of several teenagers living in Newport Harbor (an affluent community within Orange County) and was structured more like a regular TV show than a documentary. Adler appeared on both seasons of the show, taking on the “role” of Grant Newman’s close friend and Chrissy Schwartz’s occasional boyfriend. According to TMZ insiders, Adler and a few pals went shooting in the desert on March 25. At one point, in the middle of firing off a few rounds, Adler turned the gun on his own head and pulled the trigger. He died the following day in the hospital from this gunshot wound. Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that no drugs or alcohol were found in Adler’s system, but the 27-year old had struggled with mental illness in the past. After Newport Harbor went off the air, Adler tried to break into the world of acting, earning roles in such films as Make It or Break It and The Fish Tank. Both were released in 2009. Adler got started in Hollywood around the same time as Jennifer Lawrence. The two struck up a little friendship about 10 years ago, posing together on the red carpet in a photo from the 2007 Movieguide Awards that is making the Internet rounds along with this sad news. Not much else is known about Clay Adler, so we’ll end with his official bio, courtesy of his time as an MTV reality star: Clay Adler is a junior and although shy with girls, he is regarded as Newport Harbor’s hottest guy. Born and raised in Newport Harbor, Adler takes full advantage of his oceanfront playground. Whether he’s fishing from his speedboat off Balboa Island or surfing on one of Newport Harbor’s famous breaks, Adler catches girls’ glances wherever he goes. Adler’s humble attitude belies his looks and he often turns to Grant, his gregarious friend, for a boost of confidence. While it seems Adler could have any girl he wants, his shyness has kept him from having a relationship. But when Adler develops real feelings for Chrissy — and she responds accordingly — it could be his chance to break out.
