Toni Braxton Hospitalized In Atlanta

Toni Braxton has been hospitalized in Atlanta. The Braxton Family Values star is believed to be in hospital due to a serious condition as a result of her ongoing battle with Lupus.  Braxton has allegedly been hospitalized for 4 days , but it’s unclear if she checked herself in.  This is not the first time Toni has been admitted to hospital with her condition , but it is the first time that her condition has been noted as “serious.” Her social media account has been pretty silent of late, with her mostly chatting to fans about her upcoming tour.  View Slideshow: 25 Celebrity Wardrobe Malfunctions The tour is scheduled to kick off on October 8.  Toni is a successful singer, managing to sell 67 million records.  That’s a great amount of sales. Right?! On top of that, she has won a lot of awards for her music.  We sure hope she’s feeling well enough to sing to her many fans.  It’s clear they’ve been looking forward to the chance to get to see their idol.  One fan recently suggested Braxton perform in the U.K. Toni replied, “I would LOVE to come to London.” Toni’s boyfriend, Birdman jetted across the country to be at her side, cutting his tour short in the process.  The two have been in a serious relationship since June this year.  Things appear to be going pretty well for them, so at least Toni has Birdman to look after her while she’s unwell.  Toni currently appears along with her family members on WE tv’s Braxton Family Values. The show is currently on Season 5 and continues to perform well with the network.  There’s generally a lot of drama on the series and that’s no doubt why it’s lasted so long.  What do you think about all of this? Michael Phelps Welcomes First Child!

Michael Phelps may won the most Gold Medals of any athlete in the history of the Olympic Games. But he’s just won something far more important:  The hearts of Internet users everywhere. Because the legendary swimmer has shared a photo of his first-ever child! Phelps and fiancee Nicole Johnson welcomed a baby boy into the world on Friday night, with Phelps confirming the news via the Instagram photo above and the affiliated message below: Welcome Boomer Robert Phelps into the world!!! Phelps is very close to swimming coach Bob Bowman. This is who many presume he has named his child after, in terms of Boomer’s middle name. The Olympic legend and Johnson, a former Miss California, have been dating periodically since 2007. After breaking up in 2011, they rekindled their romance in 2014 and got engaged in February 2015. Following a pair of DUI arrests, a stint in treatment and six-month suspension from competing, things are much better for Phelps these days. He plans to compete in the Rio Olympics and hopes to add to his record medal count. “I feel like I am okay and happy with who I am,” Phelps recently told the Associated Press. “I feel like I’ve learned so much about myself, who I truly am. Kristen Bell Opens Up About Depression & Anxiety Struggles: I’m Not Ashamed

Bless you, Kristen Bell. The actress, known for her perky personality and roles in comedies such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall and The Boss , reveals that she has struggled with depression and anxiety for years. “I'm extremely codependent,” she confessed during an interview with Off Camera . “I shatter a little bit when I think people don't like me,” she continued. “That's part of why I lead with kindness and I compensate by being very bubbly all the time, because it really hurts my feelings when I know I'm not liked.”  “And I know that's not very healthy, and I fight it all the time.” Bell revealed that anxiety and depression runs in her family, and that her mother and maternal grandmother suffered as well. “There is a serotonin imbalance in our family line,” she explained. She went on to disclose that her grandmother was one of the first to receive electroshock therapy for the condition. “She would lock herself in her bedroom and drink for two days and they would slide food under the door,” she said. “It was rough.” Bell said she was diagnosed when she was young, and while she puts on a cheery facade, she does a lot of work internally and takes prescription medication. “I check in with myself and I need to exercise,” she said. “I got on a prescription when I was really young to help with my anxiety and depression, and I still take it today,” added the actress. While she admits that the public may scrutinize those who suffer, she feels no shame. Instead, she likens depression and anxiety to any other disease that should be treated medically. “The world wants to shame you for that, but in the medical community, you would never deny a diabetic his insulin.”

Bethenny Frankel: LYING About Health Problems?!

As we reported last week, Bethenny Frankel is suffering from a mysterious illness , and while she’s addressed her medical problems publicly, she’s thus far refused to go into any sort of detail. Her condition was briefly addressed in the first trailer for The Real Housewives of New York City Season 8 , but Bethenny was cagey when answering questions about it in a recent People  interview. “I’m facing a women’s health issue that many women can relate to,” she told the magazine, refusing to elaborate any further. Now, Bethenny’s estranged mother , Bernadette Birk, is throwing shade over the whole situation, telling Radar Online that she believes the 45-year-old reality star is just drumming up publicity in order to secure bigger ratings. “I have no idea,” Birk said when asked about Bethenny’s illness. “I haven’t spoken to her in 12 years. Maybe more. I really don’t know anything about her life and I don’t want to.” Subtly dissing her daughter’s fondness for plastic surgery, Birk added, “An overnight stay in the hospital is no big deal. It could be something cosmetic.” Indeed, it does not look as though Frankel has received any long-term, in-patient medical care, but that doesn’t mean that her condition is, as Birk claims, “no big deal.” Of course, it’s not like Bethenny’s never been known to blow things out of proportion.

Taye Diggs Appears on Kocktails with Khloe for Some Reason

According to contrasting recent reports, Kocktails with Khloe has either been renewed for another run of episodes … … or it’s about to be canceled . But while the long-term future of this FYI program is apparently up in the air, there is no debate over its short-term prospects. Taye Diggs, David Arquette, Kat DeLuna and Katie O’Brien will appear this week as guests on Kocktails with Khloe. Yes, Taye Diggs. Unlike past panelists – such as Tyga and Scott Disick (and everyone else listed above) – who has little else to do in life, it’s unclear why Diggs agreed to take part in the show. He’s one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, having come off roles in The Good Wife, Rosewood and Murder in the First in the last year-plus alone. Why has he sunken to a low in which he’s Twerking alongside someone named Kat DeLuna in order to shake up their martinis? Lex McAllister, Former Bachelor Contestant, Dead of Apparent Suicide

Lex McAllister, a contestant on season 14 of The Bachelor – has been found dead. According to TMZ, authorities believe that McAllister took her own life by overdosing on prescription medications. Lex’s family says she suffered from bipolar disorder and depression throughout her life. Early reports indicate that a 911 call was received on Saturday afternoon after McAllister was found unconscious in her home. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where her condition quickly stabilized. Sadly, McAllister reportedly took an unexpected turn for the worse on Sunday, when her organs began to shut down. On Monday, her family made the difficult decision to remove her from life support, and she passed away on Tuesday afternoon. McAllister was featured on one of the show’s most popular seasons, in which Jake Pavelka  served in the title role. Shockingly, she is not the first season 14 cast member to take her own life, as fellow contestant  Gia Allemand committed suicide  in 2013. Following Allemand’s death, Pavelka spoke openly of his shock and grief. There’s no word on whether or not he’s been informed of McAllister’s passing. A successful career woman, McAllister’s Twitter page describes her as a “business development expert, franchise consultant and entrepreneur.” Her family has requested privacy during this difficult time. Robert Kardashian Diagnosed With Diabetes At L.A. Hopsital The baby brother of the Kardashian clique was rushed to the hospital earlier today, according to TMZ . Robert Kardashian Jr. had not been feeling well over the weekend and today his condition worsened. The 28-year-old decided to go to L.A. hospital where doctors ran tests and diagnosed his condition.
