Good news! JR Smith’s Daughter Dakota Improving In The Hospital JR Smith and his wife are announcing that their premature baby is making more progress in the hospital. As previously reported JR and Jewel Harris shared the devastating news that they welcomed their daughter Dakota 5 months early. . @TheRealJRSmith and his wife share difficult family news. pic.twitter.com/efNsDANUo8 — UNINTERRUPTED (@uninterrupted) January 7, 2017 Following that the Cleveland Cavalier player announced that he was finally allowed to hold little Dakota who was born weighing a little over 1 pound. Now they’re marking another milestone, Dakota’s breathing tube has been removed. According to Jewel who has a “ MyKotaBear.com ” blog, her baby girl is no longer intubated. Jewel got the news when she went to visit her baby girl in the hospital and the primary nurse asked her if she wanted to hold her baby. According to Jewel, she initially said “no’, thinking that she wold have to go through the arduous process of holding a tubed baby…. “It’s a school night, I need to get back home to Demi and I know the kangaroo process will take too long…” but when the nurse told her that she no longer had her breathing tube, she quickly stripped out of her shirt and threw on a hospital gown. “When I tell y’all I hopped up so damn fast, took off my sweater that I had on and draped myself with a hospital robe in 2.5 seconds, my new nickname should have been Flash. […] What some mothers get to experience within the first 2 minutes of giving birth I had to wait 78 days but, what I will say is it was worth the wait because those very feelings, emotions and joy that took over my body trumps it all.” How sweet was Jewel’s story about little ‘Kota? Taylor Swift Donates $1 Million to Louisiana Flooding Victims

She may have just endured a rough few weeks from a PR standpoint, but today, Taylor Swift reminded us yet again that when it comes to using her fame and fortune to affect positive change in the world, she truly has no rival. With all the daily drama coming out of Rio and the mouth of a certain cotton candy-haired real estate mogul, the current situation in Louisiana hasn’t been receiving its rightful place at the top of every news broadcast, but it’s almost unimaginably horrific. At least 11 have been killed and thousands have lost their homes in flooding of historic proportions. Yesterday, Swift cut a check for $1 million to the state’s disaster relief fund. For the second time in just over a week, we’re forced to say the following: Kim Kardashian is right. Shortly after the tragic Orlando shooting that claimed the lives of 49 people last week, Kardashian didn’t simply offer hollow thoughts or prayers. She Tweeted an actual solid point, referencing the “Terror Gap” in the United States, a loophole that allows suspected terrorists on the FBI Watch List to purchase automatic weapons. “We have repeatedly called on Congress to close this loophole that makes it easy for dangerous people to get guns & kill,” Kardashian wrote last week . “Nothing has changed!!!! People continue to senselessly die. When will these gun laws be changed?!?!?!?!!!!?????” Fast forward to Monday night and the Senate rejecting a quartet of legal measures, each of which would have made it more difficult for certain people to purchase guns in America. Most of this proposed legislation centered on the extension of background checks… and no bill received the 60 votes it needed to pass. This is how Kardashian responded to the failure of politicians to change anything about gun control in her country: “So terrorists on fbi’s wanted lists can legally still buy guns. Hana Ali Reveals Heartbreaking Final Moments of Father Muhammad Ali’s Death

Yesterday, the world lost a legendary athlete. “The Greatest,” in fact. Muhammad Ali died after a 32-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. As the world mourns this devastating loss, his daughter Hana Ali has shared the details of his death in a social media post. In the photo above of her with her dad, she calls him a “humble mountain” and asks fans to “pray for the peace of his beautiful soul and for the happiness of his further journey.” In a second post, she reveals that at the time of his passing, the boxer was surrounded by loved ones expressing their love and support. “Our hearts are literally hurting. But we are so happy daddy is free now. “We all tried to stay strong and whispered in his ear, ‘You can go now. We will be okay. We love love. Thank you. You can go back to God now.’ All of us were around him hugging and kissing him and holding his hands, chanting the Islamic prayer.” Then, Hana recounts, something truly remarkable happened. “All of his organs failed but his HEART wouldn’t stop beating. “For 30 minutes… his heart just kept beating. “No one had ever seen anything like it. A true testament to the strength of his spirit and will! “Thank you all for your love and support!” Incredible. Kim Kardashian Arrives in New Orleans in Wake of Will Smith Murder

Kim Kardashian jumped on an overnight flight from Los Angeles to New Orleans on Monday in order to help comfort the wife of slain ex-football player Will Smith. As previously reported, the former defensive lineman for the Saints was tragically gunned down in the street on Saturday night after he got into a verbal altercation with a fellow driver. Both Will and his wife, Racquel, were shot after a driver rear-ended their vehicle. An argument ensued and police later arrested a man named Cardell Hayes, alleging that he produced a handgun; fatally shot Will multiple times; and also shot Racquel twice in the leg. She was taken to the hospital as soon as authorities arrived and is expected to make a full recovery. Kim, meanwhile, got to know the Smiths back when Will was a teammate of then-boyfriend Reggie Bush. After learning of the terrible news, she shared the following old photo of herself and Racquel and wrote as a caption: “My heart breaks for my sweet friend Rockie. I’m deeply saddened by your loss.” In a subsequent Tweet, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star added: “Sending so many prayers to her & her family! So Sad: Family Reportedly Gathering At Atlanta Hospital To Say Final Goodbyes To Bobbi Kristina

Family Reportedly Saying Goodbye To Bobbi Kristina Things are looking especially grim for Bobbi Kristina who remains in a medically induced coma after being found face down in a bath tub Saturday. As previously reported her brain function has allegedly continued to diminish and now a new report claims that her family is gathering to say their final goodbyes. People Magazine reports: It wasn’t the news that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family wanted to hear. On Wednesday, four days after the 21-year-old was found unresponsive in her home, a doctor told her family that nothing more could be done. “Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye,” says a family member. The news was especially devastating to her father, Bobby Brown. “Bobby has been crying nonstop since yesterday,” says the source. “We are grieving.” A second family member went by the hospital overnight to say goodbye – and admits that the devastating news is hard to believe. “If you saw her, you’d think she was just sleeping,” says the source. But even with the bleakest prognosis, the family is still clinging to some hope. “It’s sinking in that this is it,” says the second family member, “but we’re all still praying that God will intervene and heal her body.” This latest bit of news is so disheartening; continue to pray for her and her family.
