The nearly ten-year-old accessories line photographed its employees in its NYC showroom, showing off new designs for backpacks, carryalls and fanny packs. Founder David Ben David said he wanted to honor Sprayground’s female staffers, calling these women were the backbone of his company who helped turn his surreal dreams into reality. David said women from diverse backgrounds making up a large portion of its senior management, from marketing and PR to merchandising and designing. Source: Kate Kim / Kate Kim “The idea of the shoot was for the women of Sprayground to showcase their personality,” David said in a statement. “We had a stylist on hand that day, but the women of Sprayground picked their look and shot with a bag that represents their alter ego.” Known for its signature backpacks adorned with wide, snaggletoothed grins, Sprayground has collaborated with artists and pro athletes over the years. Bennett College Loses Accreditation, Gets It Back After donors nationwide rallied together to save an HBCU, a board STILL denied the college its accreditation—but ultimately was defeated, for now at least. As previously reported Bennett College proudly announced that it raised $8.2 million , surpassing the required $5 million to keep it accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). That number has since jumped to a whopping $9.5 million in donations. Despite that Wxii12 reported that Bennett STILL lost its accreditation. The SACSCOC released a press release to the news station confirming that Bennett’s accreditation was still revoked and noted that the Appeals Committee of the College Delegate Assembly would be holding up their December 9 decision. The board claimed that Bennett was still lacking financial resources. The school “failed to show that the institution possesses resources demonstrating a stable financial base to support the mission and scope of programs and services,” said the board. After the news broke, Bennett took swift action and filed a lawsuit against The SACSCOC. Journal Now reports that Bennett had their accreditation restored by a federal judge in Atlanta who granted the college a temporary restraining order that lets them keep their accreditation while the lawsuit remains active. Investigators announced during a news conference Wednesday that they’ve concluded that Tamla Horsford’s death was accidental after she allegedly fell off a deck during a “football moms” slumber party. During the news conference, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office announced they were closing the case because investigators said there was no evidence of foul play, reports WSBTV. The Sheriff’s Office added that they interviewed 30 people including people at the party before they reached their conclusion. They add that the medical examiner ruled that Tamla’s injuries were consistent with a fall from the home’s deck and added that acute ethanol intoxication (alcohol) was a factor. According to several people including Tamla’s best friend Michelle Graves, that just can’t be true. Michelle told WSBTV that an independent medical examiner found multiple injuries all over Tamla’s body and she and the family are fighting to have their voices heard. They’re totally lying,” Graves said on a phone call with reporter Mike Petchenik. “They’re not out of the woods, because this was not an accident.” Another person speaking out is Tamla’s father Kurtland St. Du Jour who spoke to Majic 107.5’s Ryan Cameron and is adamant that his daughter’s death was no accident. He cited a previous Facebook post from the owner of the house where Tamla died as proof. “Her injuries were not consistent with what they’re saying,” St. Du Jour said. “This is only was brought to light until we started pressuring them and they started getting pressure from everywhere else. […] The only thing we got was a death certificate with a lot of inconsistencies. […] The homeowner at one time went on Facebook and said “Nobody fell off a deck.” St. Du Jour believes that some of Tamla’s injuries were post-mortem and thinks she was “taken out” before her body was thrown from the deck. “Her wrist was cut, the bone was broken, where they said the body was, there was no blood pool. She was already dead.”

A Houston pothead learned this lesson in the most unexpected and terrifying way possible. The story, according to ABC13 , goes as follows… “A concerned citizen called 311. They were trying to get into this house to smoke marijuana. We questioned them as to whether they were under the effects of the drugs or they actually saw a tiger. They saw a tiger in this building, this vacant house that’s obviously been abandoned for some time,” said Sgt. Jason Alderete, of HPD’s Major Offenders, Livestock Animal Cruelty Unit. Asking the “concerned citizen” was he high and did he imagine the tiger is funny AF. When authorities found the 350-pound animal she was in a cage far too small for her and there were several packages of meat strewn around. Handlers tranquilized her and got the tiger out the deplorable conditions, she will soon be transferred to a facility equipped to deal with exotic animals. Can you imagine you go to fie up a blunt and you see Shere Khan sitting in the corner!

El Chapo was found guilty today, February 12, on 10 federal criminal counts. The New York Times reports that Chapo looked shocked and his wife tearfully gave him a thumbs up. “Mr. Guzmán sat listening to a translator, looking stunned. When the reading of the verdict was complete, Mr. Guzmán leaned back to glance at his wife, Emma Coronel Aispuro, who flashed him a thumbs up with tears in her eyes.” The cartel leader now faces life in prison at his sentencing hearing scheduled for June 25. Before his sentencing, 56 witnesses testified against, 14 of whom once worked with him. El Chapo’s lawyers are planning to file an appeal for the Sinaloa drug cartel leader.

The news comes directly from Savage’s lawyer who shared the good news on Facebook. “For the past 9 long days, we, on behalf of She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, known to the world as 21 Savage, have been speaking with ICE to both clarify his actual legal standing, his eligibility for bond, and provide evidence of his extraordinary contributions to his community and society. ” “In the last 24 hours, in the wake of the Grammy Awards at which he was scheduled to attend and perform, we received notice that She’yaa was granted an expedited hearing. Today, 21 Savage was granted a release on bond. He won his freedom.” 21’s manager Kei Henderson also confirmed his release on Twitter. This morning we reported on the death of viral boxing champ Rocky Lockridge , now we bring you more morbid news. The very first Black man to be a manager in Major League Baseball, Frank Robinson, has died at age 83 according to a WLWT report. Robinson played for the Cincinnati Reds from 1956 through 1965 and is STILL the only player to win the MVP award in both the National and American leagues. Robinson proudly wore #20 and three teams have proudly retired his number over the years, Baltimore, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Robinson was a resilient manager. In 1988 he began the season with 21 consecutive losses, but won “manager of the year” the very next season.
