Jeremy and Audrey Roloff: Might They Return to Little People, Big World?

Jeremy and Audrey Roloff wear quite a few professional hats these days. They are bloggers, authors and podcast hosts, not to mention social media influencers who peddle advice to other married couples on a near-daily basis, whether it is welcome or not . But many fans have been wondering something about the twosome for several months now… … will they ever be reality stars again? Jeremy and Audrey stunned Little People, Big World viewers when they announced their departure from the show that made them famous almost as soon as the previous season wrapped up last summer. Wrote Jeremy at the time, explaining where this decision came from: After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come. A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride. We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun. We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on! And both the show and the careers of these two Roloffs have gone on. New episodes of Little People, Big World are currently airing every Tuesday night on TLC, while Audrey and Jeremy have written a very popular memoir. No matter what those mean trolls may say , the couple is doing quite well at the moment. But might these universes collide at some point down the line? Have Audrey and Jeremy truly appeared on their last-ever Little People, Big World episode? Maybe not, actually. During a recent appearance on Access Live to promote their aforementioned book, Jeremy touched on why he andn his wife left their family’s reality series. “I just reached a point where it was never really something I said ‘yes’ to, I just grew up doing it,” he explained, adding: “If you asked me if I’d do it all over again, I’d say ‘yes’ … I wouldn’t trade it for anything, but it’s just a long time. It’s time to do something else.” Fair enough certainly. This is how we feel and also how his loved ones feel, Jeremy said: “They all understand. We’ve all been doing it – it’s been a family business for 14 years, like, that’s a long time to be working all together, day in and day out, making TV.” Here’s the thing, however: Jeremy and Audrey remain close to their siblings and the former’s parents. And because Little People, Big World documents the lives of the Roloffs, it’s conceivable that Audrey and Jeremy may simply pop up from time to time. Not as main cast members or anything — but simply as relatives who are attending a family function. “I like to say we may have quit the show but we didn’t quit our family,” Jeremy said in this interview. “We still make our cameos and we still go to Jackson’s birthday party and hang out with the family.” Makes sense to us. And until we see them on screen again, we can always read revealing quotes – such as Audrey’s admission that she let Jeremy touch her below the belt prior to marriage – about their past, present and future. Not a bad arrangement overall. View Slideshow: Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: Why They REALLY Quit Little People, Big World

Josh Duggar Sued For Fraud After Stealing Neighbor’s Land?!

Well, folks, it looks like Josh Duggar will soon be back in court. Sadly, Josh won’t be facing justice for molesting five young girls , but it does finally face some consequences as a result of his actions. You see, like his father, Josh is much more well-heeled financially than his neighbors in rural Arkansas. (Josh is not rich , by any means, having been exiled from his family’s media empire back in 2015. But by the standards of an economically-depressed region, he’s doing okay.) This enables Josh to buy up large tracts of land, thus granting him even greater power over his fellow Arkansans than he had already acquired through his wealth and his famous last name. Of course, Josh is as conscientious about his real estate holdings as he is about not cheating on his wife. And so it should come as no surprise that he’s being sued for buying up his neighbor’s land — without telling the guy. According to Radar Online,  Carl Echols is taking Josh to court over what he says is the unlawful purchase of land he owns and lives on! Echols says his cousin, Edward Lewis, sold him a 5-acre tract of land in 2006 for the sum of $17,500. Ten years later, Lewis sold the same property to Josh for just $1,000. Now, it’s unclear if Josh knew the property was not Lewis’ to sell — but Echols says Josh’s due diligence would’ve cleared that right up. “A full title search of the property would have put any prospective buyer on notice of Petitioner’s interest in the property,” Echols claims in court documents. “Petitioner has suffered damages because he has been paying property taxes on the property, has maintained the property, and may [be] displaced from the property if he does not prevail on his quiet title action,” his attorneys add. Echols says Josh  “never visited the property,” and doing so would have prevented this whole mess. Thus, he believes Josh is just as culpable for this con job as Lewis. Now, you may be thinking to yourself that this isn’t the only Josh Duggar real estate scandal to make headlines in the past week. And you would be right. Josh and wife Anna are reportedly desperate to sell their home , so much so, in fact, that they dropped the asking price by 10 grand after just a few days on the market. It’s unclear if these two matters are related, but there’s a very strong likelihood of a link. It’s possible that Josh is eager to put some distance between himself and his angry neighbor. Or it’s possible that the five-acre lot was the intended location for his new home. (Though that seems unlikely, as Josh has allegedly never surveyed the property once.) Either way, this probably isn’t sitting well with Josh’s parents. The Duggars earn most of their cash from two industries — media and real estate — and now Josh is messing up in both areas. Anna Duggar Begins Workout Regimen: Is She Getting In Shape to Leave Josh?!

As you probably know, life in the Duggar clan can be especially hard on women. And perhaps no female member of reality TV’s largest family has suffered as much as Anna Duggar. Anna, of course, is the beleaguered husband of Josh Duggar … at least for now. Yes, rumors of Josh and Anna getting divorced have been circulating for years, and it seems they’ve really gained steam in the past few months. The reasons for this are unclear, as divorce is strictly forbidden under the Duggars’ belief system, and it’s extremely unlikely that Anna would ever exile herself from her community by leaving Josh. Nevertheless, fans are taking everything Anna does these days as a sign that she’s getting ready to hit the road. It’s literally reached the point where the simple act of walking is being interpreted as an indication that Anna is preparing to ditch her philandering husband. Anna recently revealed that she accepted a challenge to walk 50 miles in the month of February. Not only did she meet her goal, she exceeded it — and as you can see, she’s ready to get her march on in March. “#February50 ended up being February55! Now on to March – hoping to go another 50 miles!” Anna captioned the above screenshot. Like we said, a handful of fans took a sudden interest in fitness as a sign that Anna is preparing to re-enter the singles scene. And while we can relate to that wishful thinking, it’s almost certainly not happening. Fortunately, most followers were content to simply congratulate Anna on her progress. “Good for you Anna! Be healthy for you and your family! Blessings!” one fan wrote.  “Fabulous determination. You are a strong woman. You are setting a great example for your children,” remarked another commenter. As for Anna’s inspiration to shed some pounds, it apparently had nothing to do with Josh Duggar’s sex scandals . But it was nonetheless the result of a pretty ugly incident. Late last year, fans speculated that Anna was pregnant, and the reality star sheepishly replied that she’s simply “overdue for a diet.” The exchange reportedly prompted her to get active and start paying more attention to what she eats. C’mon, people. Anna is already married to a Duggar! Let’s not make her life even more difficult, mmm-kay?

Derick Dillard: Driving Away the Duggars’ Closest Friends?

Earlier today, we explored the question of why Jill Duggar is hated by so many Counting On viewers. Now, it’s time to answer the much simpler question of why Duggar fans are so often critical of Derick Dillard. As you’re probably aware, Derick was fired from Counting On  back in 2017 after launching a bigoted bullying campaign against fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings. Needless to say, many fans of the Duggar clan were not terribly thrilled by the situation. And it seems some of Jim Bob and Michelle’s closest friends also took issue with Derick’s behavior on social media. For over a decade, the Duggars have been close friends with the Bates family, stars of WeTV’s Bringing Up Bates . Like the Duggars, the Bates are a massive evangelical clan whose unorthodox belief system and penchant for extreme breeding practices earned them a basic cable reality show. The Bates never became as popular as the Duggars — but they’re also considerably less problematic. The Bates share the Duggars’ ultra-conservative belief system, but it seems they draw the line at public expressions of bigotry, such as Derick’s campaign against Jazz. As many Reddit users have now pointed out, several members of the Bates family used to follow Derick on Twitter and Instagram. Now, it looks as though the entire family has unfollowed Derick. “The shunning begins,” wrote one viewer. “The Bates family have unfollowed Jill and Derick. Individual accounts unfollowing just Derick, meanwhile Ben unfollowed him, who’s next?” “For as much as they probably agree with what he’s saying, at some point, they don’t want to be responsible for negative attention that this will invariably draw,” another fan remarked. While it’s likely true that the Bates were not personally offended by Derick’s views, it seems they’ve decided to distance themselves from the controversial law school student. But despite the reports to the contrary, the Bates have not entirely cut ties with the Duggars. Insiders claim Jim Bob and Michelle are as close as ever with Gil and Kelly Bates. In fact, the couples have reportedly made plans to celebrate their next wedding anniversaries together. So it seems that the Bates decided that they’d like to remain close with the Duggars while completely severing ties with Derick. Something tells us that will be an increasingly commonplace arrangement in the years to come. View Slideshow: Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard: Here’s Why Fans Think They’re Getting Divorced

Jill Duggar Scolded for Bad Parenting: Is She Risking Her Son’s Life?!

If you check in on the Duggars, even every once in a very long while, then you probably know that they have crazy, crazy fans, and also a whole bunch of haters. They’re very polarizing, those wild and crazy Duggars. The people that love them love them because they think they’re very wholesome, a nice Christian family in a sea of depraved reality stars. The people that hate them hate them because they can be very bigoted and judgemental. Also that whole thing about Josh being a child molester . Of course some family members are more gossiped about than others, and the bulk of the public’s attention goes to the kids that have grown up and are making families on their own. And out of those people, it’s probably safe to say that Jill gets the most criticism. (Well, besides Josh for the aforementioned molesting.) We’re not sure why she gets as much hate as she does, but if we had to guess, we’d probably say it has something to do with her decision to marry Derick Dillard. Who, by the way, is the worst. After Josh. Derick is very vocal about his bigotry, and very aggressive about it, too. Like, nobody else has been fired from Counting On because they just couldn’t shut their big hateful mouths. On top of that, there’s the way Derick and Jill have continually asked their fans for money to fund their mission trips, even though you’d think that being reality stars would pay well enough to fly to Central America. Then there are the smaller things, all those weird little posts they make on social media, that kind of thing. For example, Derick recently quoted a bible verse on Twitter and linked it to his kids, effectively saying that his own children are curses . It’s all bad. Just so bad. And Jill’s latest Instagram post? Well, that’s bad too. “Israel woke me up this morning saying he was about to throw up!” she wrote. “We made it to the toilet before [vomit emoji], then it was [bath emoji] time and back to bed.” “No more loss of fluids for a couple hrs now,” she added, “so it’s popsicle, goldfish, jello and [TV emoji] time!” She also explained that “Growing up we got popsicles as rewards, or when there was throw-up or blood … we do this in our house now too.” So what did people find to pick apart about these photos and her caption? Lots! “Only you would think that taking a photo of a sick child is insta worthy,” one person commented. “And feeding him sugar water on a sick stomach, rather than camomile tea and dry bread!” Another person had a similar thought with “If you give him sugar he will stay sick longer.” Some people didn’t have a problem with her food choices, but they did have a problem with the things that she wrote. “I’m not trying to be rude,” one of those people tole her. “It’s just not necessary to share all the gross details!” But the bulk of the negative comments were about the photo of Samuel sitting right next to Israel. “Why would you put Samuel with your sick kid?” one of her followers asked. “Idiot of a mother much?” Another comment read “Get ready for Sam to have it since you are letting them lay around together. Keep them away from each other. #parenting101.” Because, as yet another hater explained, “She’s just asking for Sam to be sick. And he’s a baby. Could be a million times worse for him.” So the popsicle thing is fine, right? Tons of parents give their kids popsicles when they’re sick to kee them hydrated. And the oversharing, well, that’s just to be expected on Instagram. The last point is kind of tricky, because of course ideally Jill would keep Israel away from Samuel so he wouldn’t get sick too, but that’s easier said than done. Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson: Our Miscarriage Brought Us Closer Together

Last week, Lauren Swanson revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage in the autumn of 2018. In addition to speaking about that loss on Counting On , she and Josiah are opening up in a new interview. Together, the married couple explains why they decided to share their heartbreak with the world. “I wasn’t feeling well,” Lauren explains on the new season of Counting On . This took place in October of last year. “I was cramping really, really bad,” Lauren adds. “Which was quite strange because I normally don’t.” “I was thinking maybe I had something that had gluten in it,” she shares. “That’s what I was thinking.” “Well, it was late at night and I went to use the restroom and right there was the baby,” Lauren laments. “Gone.” Speaking to Fox News , Lauren explains why she and Josiah decided to inform fans of the experience. “It was definitely something I was questioning myself whether I should share our miscarriage,” Lauren admits. “But you know a lot of people go through this,” she notes. “And a lot of people face it in silence.” “And I just wanted to bring hope to a lot of people that go through this,” Lauren expresses. She explains that she wants others who have lost a pregnancy to know “That they’re not alone.” Josiah chimes in, explaining that he and his young wife are aware that “A lot of women go through this.”  “A doctor was sharing with us that one out of every five pregnancies ends up in miscarriage,” Josiah remarks. “And so,” he says. “It’s a very common thing with it being the first trimester most of them.” Notably, most miscarriages can easily go unnoticed because they happen so early. They’re dismissed as a late period and odd cramps. “A lot of women don’t share it,” Josiah remarks. “And they keep it in.” “Our doctor really encouraged us [to speak out],” Josiah reveals. “That helps with the healing.” “It really has drawn us closer together,” Josiah expresses. “… It’s not just a honeymoon for the rest of your life,” he tells Fox News. “There’s definitely going to be hard times.” “And hard times are a part of real life,” Josiah affirms. “It’s not just all happiness. …” “Going through that together really has drawn me closer to Lauren,” he admits. “And,” Josiah gushes. “I love her even more now than the day I married her.” It was on Instagram that Lauren first shared the difficult family update. “Many of yall don’t know this, but a couple of months ago we found out we were expecting,” Lauren wrote. “However, soon after we miscarried.” “At first, we kind of wanted to just stay quiet about the news,” she continued. “But knew that since everyone is anticipating for us to announce that were having a baby,” Lauren said. She continued: “We felt like it was time that we told everyone that our first and only baby is in heaven.” Lauren then notes how painful, as we here at THG have noted in the past, it can be for parents who miscarry to be asked when they’ll be pregnant. “It is hard to hear when people asks us if we are expecting, when we only recently lost our baby,” she admitted. Lauren wrote: “You can imagine it was devastating to the both of us.” “Our expectations of setting up a baby room, hearing the heart beat, feeling the baby’s first kick in mommys tummy,” she expressed. Her words continue: “holding our little one and getting to to see our precious baby were – Shattered.” “Gone,” Lauren lamented. “Right before our eyes.” “Even though our sweet child is no longer with us,” she wrote. “It is such a comfort to know that one day we will get to see our baby in Heaven!” “To the ones who have gone through this, I know your pain,” Lauren affirmed at the time. “It’s real and terrible,” she wrote. “I just want you to know you don’t have to suffer in pain alone. It is not your fault.” “We greatly appreciate your prayers as we go through this hard time!” she concluded. While one doesn’t usually think of the Duggar family as the best folks to speak out on what’s primarily a women’s issue, they spoke very well. Lauren and Josiah are grieving. So many couples have experienced a similar loss. Not everyone grieves in the same way, but it’s good for them to know that they are not alone. Josiah Duggar to Lauren Swanson: I Don’t Deserve You

Josiah Duggar is just so in love with Lauren Swanson. And he wants the whole world to know it, especially in light of some heartbreaking news the couple shared last week about their attempt to start a family. Indeed, just days after revealing that Swanson had suffered a miscarriage in October, Josiah wrote the following in honor of a certain romantic holiday promoted by Hallmark and other companies: “Happy Valentine’s Day baby! “I wish I was better at expressing how much you mean to me. I don’t deserve you, you are the world to me. I cannot imagine life without you. I feel so honored to be your husband. “Thank you for choosing me! I love you.” Pretty darn sweet and sentimental, right? Even more so when you consider that Duggar penned this as a caption to a photo of himself and Lauren on their wedding day. The couple got married in late June in Arkansas. It was presumed at the time that they’d announce a pregnancy shortly afterward, with numerous celebrity gossip sources out there wondering whether Swanson was expecting. As it tragically turns out, the answer at one point was yes: She was pregnant. But Swanson then lost the baby. She and Josiah confirmed the awful news on last Monday’s season premiere of Counting On. “It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married,” he said on air, adding: “And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes.” Swanson started to feel sick as she and her husband were preparing to go away for a friend’s wedding. She initially thought the cramping and stomach pain was due to some kind of dietary problem… but then she learned otherwise. “It was late at night and I went to the restroom, and right there was the baby. Gone. I couldn’t believe it, and I was hoping it wasn’t true,” Swanson told fans and viewers on this return episode of the TLC program. So very sad. We cannot imagine going through such a thing. Thankfully, however, Duggar and Swanson’s bond remains strong, as evidenced by this Valentine’s Day message. And they also have the support of their loved ones to get them through this challenging time in their marriage. “We love you so much and look forward to meeting your little one when we get to heaven!” Anna Duggar, who suffered her own miscarriage, told the pair on Instagram. John David Duggar Abbie Grace Burnett echoed this sentiment, writing on their own account: “[We] will continue to pray for you both!” Same here. Perhaps Lauren and Josiah can take solace in knowing that the following stars have sadly also suffered through a miscarriage: View Slideshow: 33 Stars Who Have Suffered a Miscarriage

Derick Dillard: Was He Actually Nice to Jill Duggar for Valentine’s Day?!

Look, nobody likes Derick Dillard, right? Well, like we’re sure Jill thinks he’s OK, and he has family and friends and all that. And then there are the people who are obsessed with the Duggars, who think they are a beautiful, wholesome family and all that stuff with Josh was no big deal because hey, everybody makes mistakes. But when it comes to the casual observers of this family, the people who are familiar with them and actually have some common sense? Yeah, Derick is the worst. And this is for many reasons. Of course Derick holds the same conservative beliefs as the rest of the Duggars, that’s no surprise. The difference is that Derick is just super, super outspoken about it. You probably know where this is going — remember when he thought it was a good idea to go after Jazz Jennings, a transgender teenager who also has a show on TLC? He’s done this several times, actually, but it’s always the same. He misgenders her on purpose, referring to her as “him” and “he” when Jazz has made it abundantly clear that she’s a “she,” and he believes that that her parents are abusing her by allowing her to transition. These kinds of comments got him, along with Jill, fired from Counting On. On top of that, there’s all the begging for money. Derick has asked fans for donations many, many times for their missionary trips, even though they were reality stars for most of that. Jill’s dad owns several private jets, you’d think they could afford to go to Central America, you know? Lots of people thought Derick was taking advantage of his wife’s fame to get money and to avoid getting a real job, and that’s because he was. These days, Derick is going to law school , which is cool, but he’s still not working. And that leads us (kind of) into the next thing … Which is that Derick really just seems to be a not-so-great husband. He’s taken Jill with him to class or to the library several times and called it “date night,” which is just sad. Obviously he’s busy with school, but lots of Duggar fans seem to think that he’s putting in minimal effort in his marriage. They also think he’s not putting in effort for their two sons, either. Last month, he called them a “curse” in a tweet , so that should show you how he feels about that. Derick just has lots of bad qualities, and there’s no way around that. But was he characteristically awful for Valentine’s Day, too? He actually wasn’t! As Jill explained on Instagram, “He ordered flowers last week to be sent to our house today with a note that told me to look in the trumpet on the piano.” “It had a handwritten note rolled up and placed in the end of it that he had placed there this morning!” “So very thoughtful!” she gushed. “Love my hubby!” “Ok, so funny story though,” she continued. “He hoped they would be delivered while he was at school … but when he got home this evening, the UPS truck was just pulling away and some of our neighbor’s packages were on our doorstop.” She said that their packages and their neighbor’s packages are “continually getting mixed up,” but that “when he took them over to her place, my flowers with my name were on her doorstep!” “I was distracted giving the boys baths when Derick came in,” she wrote, “so in the end it still worked out great.” “He got the flowers all fixed up and then called me in … I just love that he put so much thought into it all … so great!” She finished up her story with a sweet “Love you babe!” It’s hard to make out the note Derick wrote for her, but it begins with “When I think of all the ways the lord has blessed me, you’re at the top of my list.” Honestly, this really was sweet of Derick, right? Flowers, a handwritten note expressing love and appreciation for your spouse — it’s basically what Valentine’s Day is all about. Here’s hoping that he can keep up this same energy for a while instead of going back to the same old terrible Derick. It would be neat if he had a redeeming quality, wouldn’t it? Joy Behar Drags Meghan McCain for "Hissy Fit" in The View Feud

No show has ever needed a “talking stick” type of mechanic quite like The View . After last week's uncomfortable discussion about Joy Behar's history with blackface , they're now discussing politics. Well, they're trying to. In this clip, Joy brings the discussion to a halt after Meghan McCain throws an on-air hissy fit. “What about Senator Amy Klobuchar?” Joy Behar asks rhetorically, kicking off a new topic. “She kicked off her Presidential campaign in the middle of a blizzard,” Joy notes. “And,” Joy continues. “Trump mocked her.” Joy continues to try to set up for the next portion of the discussion. Unfortunately, Meghan is already trying to interject with her opinion. It's literally her job to voice her views — it's right there in the show's name — but she's supposed to let Joy finish introducing the topic. Trump's tweet, attempting to roast Klobuchar, was his usual nonsense. He can't understand that climate change actually causes extreme weather on both ends despite an overall trend of warming. So he thinks that blizzards won't happen because of climate change (even though, obviously, a warming climate means more moisture in the air in many places). We get it — his brain is bad. That's been clear for a long time. But Meghan can't even let Joy read through something as short as a tweet without trying to interject. In fact, Meghan loudly says: “You know what?” while Joy is reading, and then we hear a smack , presumably of her note cards hitting the table. They then go into Klobuchar's response to Trump, which was to point out that his fake hair wouldn't look great in a blizzard. Meghan laughs nervously, saying: “It's stupid, it's all so stupid.” Abby Huntsman (who looks so much like her dad ) suggests that other politicians should rise above Trump's tactic of slinging insults. And then they get into the merits of whether women have an advantage, since Trump insulting women always looks worse to the public. I can't say that I agree with Abby on all of her views, but she does have a very congenial way of talking, even when she's wrong or being sarcastic. But Meghan was clearly chomping at the bit and felt like she was being steamrolled. “Can I say something now?” Meghan whines. (I don't want to be mean to Meghan — in fact, years ago, I really liked her! But oh gosh, that's exactly what she's doing) “Is that okay, Joy?” she asks sarcastically. “Do I have permission to speak now on Amy Klobuchar?” She looks at the audience as she asks this, as if appealing for sympathy. “We’re all good?” she asks indignantly. “Okay! Two quick things. Number one, I have friends that were at her announcement,” Meghan begins. She then cuts herself off, presumably at Joy's astonished facial expression. “Alright, no!” Meghan says. “By all means, keep going, Joy!” Clearly, Meghan thinks that Joy was trying to interrupt her. Joy makes it clear that this was not the case. “No,” Joy jokes. “If you're gonna have a hissy fit, we can't continue.” Her voice tone and her fake sullen expression make it clear that Joy is joking, here. There are times when Meghan McCain makes really great points on The View. Part of her appeal on the show is that she can really jump in and make a powerful point … every now and then. But she does spend a lot of time as the show's primary antagonist — even when her co-stars do not necessarily disagree with her. She seems to have an adversarial disposition towards her castmates. But they've faced off before, and seem to be able to keep things civil when they're not on camera. The View exists mostly for entertainment. They discuss the news rather than report it. That said … seriously. They might want to figure out a way to determine who talks when. At the very least, it might appease Meghan, who seems to constantly feel like she's being silenced. (She's not being silenced. She's literally being paid to speak)
