Kourtney Kardashian & Scott Disick Have Date With Kids at Harry Potter World

They both may be dating much younger hotties, but Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick can still find time to make like a family every now and then. The former couple took their kids Mason, 6, and Penelope, 3, on a special visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios on Friday for a sweet family date. Kourtney posted a photo to Instagram of Penelope pointing a wand at an interactive window in the pretend Potter village. “A little Harry Potter magic,” Kourtney wrote in the caption. Meanwhile, over at Scott’s Insta, we see a promo for a club appearance Scott is scheduled to do in Las Vegas. SMH. Nevertheless, the foursome “enjoyed the land’s signature ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff and Mason had a wand-fitting at Ollivander’s wand shop,” an insider told E! News.  The attraction is scheduled to open to the public on April 7, so the Disick fam was treated to a little sneak preview. “Mason and Penelope were also seen using their wand at several of the land’s interactive windows,” the source added. Too bad they couldn’t use the wand to turn Scott into a sober father. As we reported earlier this week, Kourtney Kardashian is rumored to be dating Diddy’s son, 24-year-old model Quincy Brown , and Scott is said to have found a new girlfriend in 20-year-old model and Kendall Jenner lookalike Christine Burke . However, Scott and Kourtney were seen hanging out earlier this week as well, which left fans confused about their relationship status. Kourt took to Snapchat to tell everyone to take a chill pill. “By the way everyone relax, people that have three kids together spend time together.” Especially people who have three kids together and need to keep a storyline going for their reality show. Eminem, Royce Da 5’9" Success Inspires Slaughterhouse

‘To have him on our team is only gonna make us better,’ Crooked I says of Royce. By Rob Markman Slaughterhouse’s Royce Da 5’9,” Crooked I and Joe Budden Photo: MTV News NEW YORK — All for one and one for all. Last week, Royce Da 5’9″ hoisted his first gold plaque for his and Eminem ‘s Bad Meets Evil EP Hell: The Sequel, and his Slaughterhouse bandmates couldn’t be happier for the Detroit spitter. “It feels great to actually be accomplishing things,” Royce told MTV News backstage at Rock the Bells. “Five years ago, I was in jail, so this is phenomenal for me, and I feel like it’s starting the machine and it’s starting the Shady Records movement, because this is a good springboard to get the Slaughterhouse project off the ground, and we wanna make being lyrical cool again. We want the kids to look at lyricism and feel like that’s cool.” In January, it was announced that Eminem had signed the quartet — comprised of Royce, Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Joe Budden — to his Shady Records label. While the foursome have been working on their Shady debut, Em and Royce revived their Bad Meets Evil group and dropped Hell: The Sequel in June. Now, three months later, the project has moved more than 500,000 copies, making it Royce’s first gold record. For the rest of Slaughterhouse, Nickel Nine’s success provides inspiration. “I was actually there when [Eminem’s manager] Paul [Rosenberg] came in with the plaque, and that’s an ill moment in history, because it’s more than full-circle in my eyes; it’s like full-circle and then some,” Crooked I said. “I proceeded to get drunk off a bottle of Mo

Death Cab For Cutie To Shoot Single-Take Video Live On The Web

‘You Are a Tourist’ clip will air live at 7 p.m. ET on MTV.com. By Matt Elias Death Cab For Cutie Photo: MTV News On Monday afternoon, Death Cab for Cutie were holed up in a Hollywood soundstage rehearsing for an exceptionally ambitious music video project. The band plans to shoot a music video for their single “You Are a Tourist” in one take while being simulcast to the Web. And while single-take videos are nothing new (OK Go’s “This Too Shall Pass” and Feist’s “1234” come to mind), they’ve had the luxury of shooting multiple takes until they got it right. With “You Are a Tourist,” Death Cab have one chance to do it, and they’re doing it live. Adding to the difficulty, the band has mapped out a complex arrangement of moves and visual effects — but describing the video’s treatment might be the trickiest part of it all. “It’s kind of hard to describe because it’s kind of like … I liken it to a 5-year-old trying to explain their trip to Disneyland,” frontman Ben Gibbard said. “It’s sensory overload, so there’s a lot of things happening, and trying to kind of walk anybody through it would be very difficult. But there are lights and dancers, and smoke and projections, and it’s gonna be kind of a little bit of a Busby Berkeley -type of spectacle.” And a spectacle it is. Joining the band are a bevy of background actors and a troop of a dozen or so dancers, and just about as many computers controlling the action. The entire set glows with a series of projections (an abstract cityscape, geometric designs and triangles that flicker in sync with the music). Oh, and the band’s suits light up in sync with the song too. But despite the entire performance being highly intricate, the foursome seemed pretty relaxed during rehearsal. As Ben pointed out, “I think the trick here, or the balance here, is to try to have there be a legitimate amount of choreography involved, but not so much that if one thing goes wrong, the whole thing topples like a house of cards. And there are some very, kind of, tight moves throughout the video, but nothing that, you know, if I’m not standing here at this one point, the Rube Goldberg kind of thing falls apart and you’re standing there for the next three minutes looking like a moron.” You can catch the video in all its live glory Tuesday (April 5) at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on MTV.com , VH1.com and YouAreATourist.com . Kanye West Vs. Kobe Bryant In Sneaker Showdown

‘I’m the boss!’ ‘Ye yells in ad for Los Angeles Laker’s new Nike kicks. By Jayson Rodriguez Kanye West in Kobe Bryant’s Nike commercial trailer Photo: Nike The Kanye West and Kobe Bryant partnership might have taken a wrong turn somewhere. The pair were photographed in the studio together last year when West was working on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy . The rapper, despite his Chicago roots, also said he wanted to be like the Los Angeles Laker . Over the weekend, however, in a preview of a Nike commercial spot that will debut over the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend, West (in character) is shown at odds with Bryant in a campaign for the baller’s new sneaker. “Bring him to me!” ‘Ye screams in the clip, which was directed by Robert Rodriguez and also features Bruce Willis. “The Black Mamba ain’t nothing. I’m the boss!” The boss, apparently, wants Kobe’s kicks: In the first clip that ran a week ago, a voiceover opens the spot by saying the NBA champion thought he was on a road trip to Dallas but found himself fighting for his footwear. “Black Mamba, the boss wants your shoes,” veteran actor Danny Trejo tells the high-flying basketball superstar. Bryant is then shown slashing through defenders during a rooftop pickup basketball game and dunking buckets despite playing short-handed. Two years ago, the duo were featured in another campaign for the NBA when West’s “Amazing” was used for the playoff push alongside highlight clips of Bryant, LeBron James and the Celtics’ Ray Allen. Justin Timberlake ‘Cleveland Show’ Cameo To Air Feb. 20

T-Pain and will.i.am also will voice characters in ‘Terry Unmarried.’ By James Dinh Theodore (voiced by T-Pain) and Bernard (voiced by Will.i.am) with Rallo (voiced by Mike Henry) on “The Cleveland Show” Photo: FOX Justin Timberlake is no stranger to lending his voice to animated characters. The singer-turned-actor, who celebrated his birthday Monday (January 30), recently hit the big screen as Boo-Boo Bear in the CGI film adaptation of “Yogi Bear.” And in just a few weeks, fans will be able to catch JT voice a different kind of character in an upcoming episode of “The Cleveland Show,” airing February 20 at 9:30 p.m. on Fox. According to a press release, Timberlake’s guest-starring episode will be called “Terry Unmarried” and revolve around two big revelations in Cleveland’s personal life. Things take a turn when Cleveland discovers that his wife, Donna, never legally divorced her ex-husband, making their marriage illegitimate. Soon after, he finds out that his best friend, Terry, is gay and has been dating a man named Paul (voiced by Timberlake). With the recent developments, the foursome decides to travel to Vermont for a double wedding ceremony. The episode also will feature Theodore (T-Pain) and Bernard (will.i.am) explaining to Cleveland’s stepson Rallo why he should break a nasty habit. In October, Fox reps confirmed to MTV News that Timberlake will voice two characters : Paul, the boyfriend of Terry, and a “singing booger,” appropriately named Booger, who belongs to Rallo. Even though the episode has yet to air, the pop star has already earned himself a fan in “Cleveland” creator Rich Appel. Speaking with Us Weekly, the writer raved about the star’s voice appearance, gushing, “Justin is just hysterical!” Back in December, JT spoke about his decision to primarily focus on his long list of Hollywood projects . “They’re looking at me like, ‘Why aren’t you staying with one path?’ ” the star told the Los Angeles Times , referring to fans’ criticism to his shift in career avenues. “They look at me like I’m ungrateful for my music career because I want to do film.” Are you excited to see JT on “The Cleveland Show”? Joe Budden Says Eminem/Slaughterhouse Deal ‘Not Done’

‘[It’s] too premature for me to speak on,’ Jersey MC says of whether supergroup will sign with Shady, on ‘RapFix Live.’ By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by Sway Calloway Joe Budden Photo: Rich Sancho/ MTV News For fans of the supergroup Slaughterhouse, Joe Budden has one thing he can confirm about the crew’s buzzed-about deal with Eminem: It’s too early to confirm anything. Whispers that the hip-hop A-Team of Budden, Crooked I, Royce Da 5’9″ and Joell Ortiz will ink a contract with the Shady Records boss have followed the foursome for a while, but while closing a deal with the Detroit hip-hop head looks promising, nothing has been nailed down just yet. “The deal is not done. If everything goes according to plan, [then] hopefully. [It’s] too premature for me to speak on,” Budden said during his “RapFix Live” interview on Thursday (December 16). Even though Budden doesn’t have any new answers for Slaughterhouse acolytes eager for an official stamp of approval from Em, the Mood Muzik MC noted that he’s been fielding the same fan inquiries for a minute. “I’ve been answering that same question for a … year and change. Maybe ever since the Drake “Forever” video … when Slaughterhouse was standing with Eminem, I’ve been answering Eminem questions,” he said. “Eminem is a whole ‘nother entity, the guy’s nominated for 10 Grammys.” Em may be a chart-ruling trophy magnet but Budden said the first time he chopped it up with the Recovery lyricist, it was his wit that made an impression on the New Jersey-bred spitter. “[He said] something real sarcastic. Something sarcastic as far as rapping goes. I think it was about a verse that I was doing. It’s OK. But he’s funny like that,” Budden recalled, before explaining Shady’s disarmingly down-to-earth charm. “It’s almost like you’re not even talking to him, like he’s not who he is. I’m a huge fan, so I’ll be sitting there like, ‘Holy snap, it’s Em,’ then [you’re] cracking jokes the next minute. [He’s] just a real cool guy.” Budden also told MTV News last month that despite his outsize fame, Em remains a dedicated guardian of hip-hop culture. “Em, to be as successful as he is, and I’ll just tell this to anybody with two ears, or one ear, for that matter, is just one of the most supportive hip-hop people that I’ve met,” he said. “He’s really, really just into hip-hop and rap and lyrics. He’s just really into all of the things that group was built around.” What are you looking forward to from Slaughterhouse and Joe Budden? Let us know in the comments! Weezer Take Fans Down Memory Lane On First Night Of Tour

Band opens Memories Tour with set of songs from 1994’s Blue Album. By Matt Elias Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo performs in San Francisco on Monday Photo: Tim Mosenfelder/Getty Images “You guys ready to take a ride on the Weezer time machine?” shouted Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo as he and his band took the stage at the Nob Hill Masonic Center on the first night of Weezer’s Memories Tour , in San Francisco. Night one was billed as the “Blue” evening, with the band playing its 1994 self-titled debut (a.k.a. the Blue Album ) in its entirety. But there was much more in store for the Weezer faithful than Rivers had clued us in on back in August on the set of the foursome’s “Memories” music video . Before the Blue tunes got under way, the trip down memory lane began with a retrospective set of hits. Kicking things off appropriately with the Hurley single “Memories,” the band worked its way backward through its catalog. Rivers began most of the songs by shouting out the year and the album it was from, trekking all the way back to “Falling for You” from 1996’s Pinkerton. The show itself was loose and fun, with Rivers racing up and down the isles, eventually making his way up to the soundboard on the balcony. By “Pork and Beans,” the fourth song of the 10-song mini-set, Rivers was streaming toilet paper rolls into the crowd and anointing people with water. Although there were 3,000 fans in attendance, Rivers made sure each one felt as if he or she had a front-row seat — and likely gave them a high five too. As the set — which also included “Beverly Hills,” “Keep Fishin’ ” and “Hash Pipe” — wound down, the band broke for intermission. During the break, fans were treated to a treasure trove of artifacts courtesy of Weezer’s resident historian/ photographer/ jack of all trades, Karl Koch. The slide show, narrated by Koch, highlighted Weezer’s early days: a flier from L.A.’s Club Dump (now the Viper Room), an early set list that pretty much would come to be the Blue Album, a photo of the actual garage described in “In the Garage” off the Blue Album (yes, it exists), just to name a few. With intermission over, it was time for the evening’s main course. A simple blue background with the band’s name, similar to the Blue Album cover, replaced the lighted flying W. It was as if the band were saying “let the music speak for itself.” They kept it pretty simple for the Blue Album portion of the night. There were fewer antics — the band were anchored in their positions — but by no means was it a subdued performance. It probably was the most sing-along portion of the night, especially during “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So.” At one point during “Surf Wax America,” a fan made his way onstage and mingled with the band. They kept it cool, showing not an ounce of frustration. As the band hammered away onstage, the audience stayed on its feet for the entire night. There was a special feeling in the air, a feeling that you were being treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience. When it was all over, as the final notes of “Only in Dreams” hung in the air, the band grouped at the foot of the stage and took a simple bow to thunderous applause. A modest gesture to make, but it speaks volumes to the band’s longevity and devoted fanbase. And of course, Rivers couldn’t get away without high-fiving a few fans on his way offstage. Lloyd Banks Reveals Fate Of ‘Blue Fridays’ Series

Hunger for More 2 MC tells MTV News he’s going to ‘keep supplying the street,’ but tracks ‘might not drop on Friday.’ Lloyd Banks Photo: MTV News Lloyd Banks just dropped his The Hunger for More 2 album on Monday, but the Queens MC says he has no plans to quit releasing free music. MTV News spoke to G-Unit’s Boy Wonder about the fate of his weekly Blue Fridays series, and he told us he has to keep feeding the streets. “As far as the Blue Fridays go, I’m gonna keep going up until the last Friday,” Banks said. “So maybe Black Friday, I’ll stop there, but that’s just that phase. I’ll go into a whole new series — I don’t want to name anything yet — I’m definitely going to keep putting out content, it just might not drop on Friday.” Banks kicked off Blue Fridays in October to help build anticipation for HFM2, the rapper’s first album since signing with G-Unit/EMI after a brief stint as an independent artist. Hunger for More 2 finds the Punch Line King backed by a heavyweight guest list of beatmakers (Ryan Leslie, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League) and features (Raekwon, Pusha T, Styles P). But while the album is now on sale, Banks is primed to ramp up his freebie deliveries. “I think I’ve spoiled people to the point that they expect more than just one song,” Banks said. “Maybe I’ll start dropping two songs a day; I’m definitely not gonna go back to the point where I stop supplying the street. I think that was part of the reason for the resistance, is that people know you’re capable of doing it. It’s like showing your trainer you can do 100 push-ups and then try to do 50 tomorrow.” (No pun intended, of course.) Are you excited for Banks to start up another series? What do you think of HFM2 Tell us in the comments! Related Artists Lloyd Banks
