Can Amber Heard Get A Plate At The Cookout Now?

I’m going to jump out the window and say it, Aquaman is one of the best movies from the Warner Bros DC Universe in a very long time, but during my conversation with Amber Heard, I think I might make a plate for her to take out from our hypothetical cookout. She shook her head at the BBQ Becky’s of the world, reads books about White Fragility and she’s one hell of a Princess Mera in Aquaman. Amber explains why we see so much more negativity but points out a change is coming, “I think it’s easy to see how much people aren’t doing because we have such a heightened awareness and ability to see and connect and share with the rapid acceleration with the access to social media through our phones and an increased connectedness with that,” Amber says. She also says that same connectedness which is making us more aware of the unjust things happening in the world it’s also changing the world at the same time. “There are negative things happening in this world at rapid speeds but there is so many good things happening. There is so much positive change happening but what’s really inspiring and encouraging is knowing where it came from.” Amber explains the change it’s coming from the ground up, young people and boots on the ground.” Check out my interview with the cast of Aquaman and go see this new movie when it hits theaters at midnight. Cemetery Worker Steals Granite Headstones To Make Tile Flooring SMH. A Rhode Island cemetery worker was discovered swiping granite headstones from the graves of war veterans to make fancy tile flooring for his garage. Via MailOnline : A cemetery worker in Rhode Island is expected to admit that he stole granite headstones from the graves of U.S. veterans and used them as flooring. Kevin Maynard, a 59-year-old who worked at a veterans’ burial ground in Exeter, reportedly admitted taking at least 150 of the granite slabs and using them for projects including a shed and two garages. Photos taken by federal investigators show some of the flagstones face-up inside a garage, with the details of a Second World War veteran clearly visible. Other stones had been turned over, leaving the details of the soldier they were meant to honor pounded down into the dirt. A federal investigator said he saw other stones spattered with trash and motor oil. According to local news station WPRI, which revealed the investigation, Maynard bragged to his colleagues about taking the stones, which had been taken from the ground because they were due to be replaced. According to federal rules on veterans’ cemeteries, all granite headstones due to be replaced must be ground up to protect the dignity of the buried soldiers. Man, he couldn’t even turn all the tiles over? So everytime he pulls into his driveway he has to read “here lies John?” SMH!

Dame Dash probably could have warned him about this… Jay Z Splits With Longtime Business Manager John Meneilly Reports from Jay Z’s circle claim he has split with his business manager John Meneilly, who helped Hov build his RocNation empire from the ground up. Via NYDailyNews : Jay Z and Solange Knowles may have (publicly at least) squashed whatever beef led to their now-infamous elevator brawl, but Hova and his longtime business manager are over. Music industry insiders exclusively tell Confidenti@l that Jay Z has cut ties with John Meneilly, who helped build the “Empire State” rapper’s empire. According to one well-placed music industry insider, Meneilly didn’t want to go, “It wasn’t his choice.” Though a second source close to the split described it as “amicable and mutual” and says the agreement was made “a couple months ago.” While Jay Z has always been reluctant to call Meneilly his “manager,” he referred to his once trusted confidant as his “consigliore,” according to Forbes writer Zack O’Malley Greenburg, who literally wrote the book on the Brooklyn music mogul. Man Buried Alive in Brazil, Claws His Way Out, Scares the ISH Out of Mourner

Forget the old saying “one foot in the grave.” This Brazilian man’s whole body was placed in one, only he was not yet deceased as previously believed. After being buried alive, he attempted to claw his way out, succeeding to the point where he got someone’s attention in a scene straight out of a horror film. According to reports, a woman was at a cemetery in Sao Paulo’s Ferraz de Vasconcelos when she heard odd noises and saw some dirt moving near a grave. That’s when she spotted a man, buried alive, trying to pull himself to freedom. Man Buried Alive, Claws His Way Out “I was terrified to see this man who I thought was dead, trying to get out of the grave ,” the woman recalled later, according to multiple local reports. The woman notified authorities, who arrived to dig out the rest of the man’s body; he’d already managed to free his head and arms from the ground. Rescue workers can be seen pulling the partially buried man from the grave in viral video footage that emerged following the shocking turn of events. It’s not immediately clear how the man was buried alive to begin with. Reportedly worked as a city hall employee, it is believed that he got into a fight in another part of the city and was badly beaten up in the altercation. After he was rescued from the grave, he was taken to a local hospital. Though city officials confirmed the case of the man being buried alive and rescued at this time, they did not disclose the condition of the man at present. Step up it, The Walking Dead . Yes, though she’s currently in the midst of a two-year world tour, Gaga is already hard at work on the follow-up to 2011’s Born This Way and, according to her co-manager, she’s going to push the boundaries even further this time around (which is sure to please those Indonesian Islamic groups ). “There’s a lot of work to come, [I’m] very excited about it,” Vincent Herbert revealed in a new interview with website That Grape Juice. “[It’s] just [an] insane, great record. She’s on tour right now, but it’s just going to be a great record. Look out for the unexpected when it comes to her. We’re doing it on the road right now, so it’s a little hard, but it’s going to be great.” Herbert wouldn’t reveal specifics — tentative release date, title, who she’s been working with, etc. — about the new album, but the news that she’s recording on the road is actually in keeping with the way she began work on Born This Way, when standout tracks like “Marry The Night” took shape with producer Fernando Garibay during her long-running Monster Ball Tour. “I just kind of got on the American leg of the tour … and she goes, ‘I want to write another song that can define where I’m at with this album and my life,’ ” Garibay told MTV News last year. “I go back to the studio bus; I’m just working on parts … and then, two hours later, she comes offstage and she goes, ‘Do you have something to play me?’ And I go, ‘I do, actually.’ “So I played her the instrumental for ‘Marry the Night,’ and she goes, ‘Open up a mic,’ ” Garibay continued. “She starts laying down the whole song, like, off the cuff … right off the stage, using the energy of that crowd and going into the studio, it was amazing.
